Ich bin mit meiner Freundin Stammgast und muss sagen, es ist einfach Balsam für die Seele, wenn man wirklich nichts zu bemängeln hat! Ich habe wirklich versucht, etwas zu finden, und es ist die Atmosphäre. Drinnen ist es perfekt, ich mag es wirklich sehr, aber wir saßen draußen, und ja, die Seitenstraßen von Dortmund tragen nicht gerade zur Atmosphäre bei. Die Getränke sind mir egal, einige selbstgemachte Eistee-Varianten waren so genial, dass ich sie zu Hause nachgemacht habe. Meine waren mit Fruchtsaft, ihre mit frischen Früchten. Ich weiß nicht, ob das in Ordnung ist, aber hier ist mein abgewandeltes Rezept: Die Basis ist Tee, 1 Teil grüner Tee, 3 Teile Jasmintee, und da ich keine Minze habe, habe ich einfach etwas dazugegeben und aufgegossen. Danach mischt man 3 Teile Tee mit 1 Teil Maracujasaft und verfeinert das Ganze mit braunem Zucker nach Belieben. Es ist lecker, aber nicht ganz so gut wie das Original. Das Essen ist so gut, dass ich fast wahllos etwas auswähle und alles, was ich bestelle, ist köstlich. Die Kellnerinnen sind freundlich, aufmerksam und nie aufdringlich. Ja, 10 von 10 Punkten – es wäre echt cool, wenn ihr Setup in einem Dschungel- oder Strandszenario angesiedelt wäre.

Sehr leckeres Sushi 😋 leckere Sommerrollen 😋 alles toll zubereitet und serviert. Schade, dass wir nur zum Kurztrip in Dortmund waren. Sonst könnten wir noch mehr von der Speisekarte probieren. Das Essen an den Nachbartischen sah jedenfalls sehr verlockend aus. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich - sowohl innen als auch außen, der Service sehr freundlich.

Tolle Atmosphäre, Tische draußen unter alten Platanen, gemütlich. Das Essen ist köstlich, ich hatte gebratene Ente mit Gemüse und Frühlingsrollen bestellt, die waren aber leider zu fettig.

No cap, neuer Place-to-be für richtig guten Fried Rice. Die Optik spricht für sich - geschmacklich absolut stimmig. Das Personal ist auch mega sympathisch und einfach herzlich. Wer 'ne richtig gute Quality-Time mit geilem Essen sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Absolute Empfehlung!

Wir waren etwa gegen 18 Uhr dort. Es war mäßig gefühlt, aber die Wartezeiten waren so, als wäre niemand sonst in dem Restaurant. Das Essen kam schon, da haben wir kaum aus unseren Getränken getrunken. Das Essen war sehr lecker! Sind zum weiten Mal dort gewesen und werden sicherlich nochmal kommen. Absolute Empfehlung in der Dortmunder Innenstadt!

Schnelles Essen, top Qualität mit Hang zum "fotografier mich", weil es so extra schön angemacht ist. Die Qualität braucht sich hinter der Optik nicht verstecken und der Service ist super herzlich und freundlich. Man bekommt fast den Eindruck, den Kellnern ein Gefallen zu tun, dass man dort was ist, ihnen steht die Freude ins Gesicht geschrieben (authentisch, nicht aufgesetzt). Es macht einfach Spaß dort zu Essen. Nicht ganz preiswert, aber den Preis ist das Essen und das Personal/Service alle Mal Wert!

Wir kamen spontan ohne Reservierung – das Restaurant war sehr voll, und trotzdem haben wir nach kurzer Wartezeit einen Platz bekommen. Der Service war trotz der vielen Gäste ausgesprochen freundlich, aufmerksam und wirkte zu keiner Zeit gestresst. Das Essen war wirklich hervorragend! Auch das Ambiente hat überzeugt: modern, sauber und sehr einladend – man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Klare Empfehlung, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Freundliches und umsichtiges Personal, große Karte, einige sehr fancy Sushi Kreationen. Es ist aber auch eine super Adresse, wenn man einfach nur mal Lust auf ne schmackhafte PHO Suppe hat. War alles frisch, schöne Einrichtung, 'normale' Preise. Empfehlenswert!

Schneller und freundlicher Service. Leckeres Asiatisches Essen. Wir kommen gerne ab und zu hier hin.

Sie haben eine geheime „Überraschungs“-Option auf der Speisekarte, die ich unbedingt ausprobieren musste, haha, sie war fantastisch! Großzügig geschnittene und wunderschöne Gerichte.

Ein Besuch lohnt sich, tolle Küche, Auswahl in der Karte gut beschrieben und illustriert. Gerne wieder.

Wir kamen kurz bevor die Küche geschlossen hat. Die Mitarbeitenden waren super freundlich und wir durften trotzdem noch Essen bestellen. Obwohl alles sehr schnell gehen musste, hat das dem Geschmack keinen Abbruch getan. Das Essen hat unfassbar lecker geschmeckt!

Wir hatten ein köstliches Essen, freundlichen Service und eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Eine Reservierung wird empfohlen. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Ich habe eine sehr positive Erfahrung mit diesen Restaurant gemacht. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Essen + die Präsentation war phänomenal. Ebenfalls schön war das Ambiente, die Dekoration und der Aufbau des Restaurants. Zusammenfassend würde ich dieses Restaurant stark empfehlen.

Wir haben unsere Bestellung sehr schnell erhalten, die Gerichte waren köstlich. Wir werden dieses Restaurant jetzt öfter besuchen 🥰 Und eine Bitte an alle anderen Gäste: Hört auf, die Brötchen mit Messer und Gabel zu schneiden, es ist kein Steak! Es tut weh, das anzusehen 😱 Fragt einfach nach Essstäbchen, das ist nicht peinlich.

Sehr nette Bedienung, ging alles schnell und problemlos. Das Ambiente ist super! Nur zu übertreffen von dem Essen selbst. Ich hatte nirgends so ein perfektes paniertes Hähnchen: butterzart von innen und knusprig von außen. Die Getränke sind etwas teuer, aber ihren Preis auch wert, weil man merkt dass sie mit viel Mühe zubereitet wurden und nicht einfach irgendwelche Säfte zusammengemixt wurden. Auch bei der Größe der Portionen kann man nicht meckern. Im Preis Leistungsverhältnis echt super. Alles in einem eine tolle Erfahrung und sehr zu empfehlen.

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Das Personal war anfangs sehr freundlich, obwohl das Lokal komplett voll war, wurde unsere Bestellung geduldig aufgenommen. Das bestellte Essen kam korrekt und war wirklich ansprechend dekoriert und auch sehr lecker. Allerdings hatte dann jemand von uns ein Haar in der Suppe. Die Suppe wurde ausgetauscht. Zwischendurch konnte man beobachten, wie das Personal die Soja Soßen auffüllte. Allerdings passierte dies aus einer Sprite Flasche. Appetitlich war dies irgendwie nicht und bezogen auf den Hygieneaspekt, finde ich es ehrlich gesagt auch fraglich. Wir bestellten abschließend noch Cocktails. Die Kellnerin kippte beim servieren einen um. Der Inhalt landete leider teils auf mir und in meinen Haaren. Der Kellner sah meinen Pullover und entgegnete mir mit; „Kann man ja waschen“ - ja kann man, aber am frühen Freitag Abend auch doof. Hätte mir gewünscht, dass der Cocktail als Entschuldigung vll aufs Haus geht. Nichtsdestotrotz war das Essen sehr lecker und empfehlenswert.

Every time my family and I visit Dortmund, we go to Ong Bui for dinner. We're always happy with the service and the food is always excellent. The salmon platter is especially recommended, or for adults, a glass of mojito.

Went here for dinner, the ratio of price to food you get is very nice. The prices are very worth the portion you get. Staff is responsive and very friendly with all customer. It is reccomended to visit this place of you love vietnamese/japanese cuisine.

An Asian restaurant with really good food and friendly service. Highly recommended. We were there Friday evening and had to reserve a table. There were no more seats available. You get a lot for your money, and it's delicious. The only slight downside was the cramped space and the air quality. It was quite busy, and the tables were very close together. The restaurant can't be blamed for the surrounding area, but you wouldn't want to walk through it alone. It's a big city, after all.

There are few places in Dortmund that serve such high-quality food, especially sushi. The service is also very friendly!

We made a spontaneous reservation today (originally for two people) and ordered two sushi dishes and two udon noodle dishes with crispy chicken. The sushi was okay, but nothing special. Unfortunately, the udon noodles and the vegetables were very mushy and clearly overcooked, so we sent both dishes back. The ambiance is generally nice, but the seating is very narrow. Every time the waitress walked past me, I was bumped into, which became unpleasant after a while. When we were asked how the food was while they were clearing the table, I mentioned the overcooked food. Unfortunately, this was completely ignored, which I found very disappointing. Overall, a mixed experience – a nice atmosphere, but significant room for improvement in both the food and how they handled criticism.

I live near Duisburg and drive all the way to Dortmund just to eat this sushi. And it's worth it every single time. I've never eaten such amazing sushi, and I usually hate sushi. But this sushi tops everything. The staff are also incredibly nice and friendly. We even ordered the wrong thing, which was my fault. But they were so kind and turned a blind eye and immediately made a new order for us. I would recommend it to everyone.

The waiter was rude and told me I should learn math because I was looking for a 20-cent coin. After eating, I had severe, persistent stomach pains, and the food didn't even taste good. The only good thing was the fog effect. I won't be eating here again.

It's incredibly delicious! Everything I've tried so far has been a new explosion of flavor. You absolutely must try the Ong Bui soup with coconut milk!! I come to the restaurant twice a week. The staff is incredibly attentive, and you feel very welcome. I feel like I'm visiting friends. The prices are reasonable. It's usually quite busy, so it's best to make a reservation.

We enjoyed our visit to Ong Bui. The interior and ambiance are modern and inviting. Some tables are very close together, which is a shame, as it's sometimes difficult to have a conversation. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes with photos to give you a good first impression. Our appetizers arrived relatively quickly. We chose miso soup, edamame, summer rolls, and ha cao. The portions were generous and we enjoyed them. Our main courses arrived shortly after our appetizers, before we had even finished them. We felt this was too fast. Nevertheless, the beef pho and the duck egg rice were both delicious. They accommodated our requests, such as omitting the cilantro, which is a nice touch! The restaurant staff was friendly and polite.

We were here for our anniversary lunch and I must say what a great resturant! Amazing food, the sushi was exceptionally fresh and delicious, the staff was kind and friendlly and a huge variety of vegetarian and vegan options. Highly recommended!

Good Vietnamese cuisine with Japanese fusion

First time there, very delicious food, very clean, nice atmosphere, friendly staff.

Always a great experience. I already knew they had the best sushi in Dortmund and the surrounding area, friendly staff, and a pleasant atmosphere. But discovering they also make the best mojitos was a pleasant surprise on my last visit.

The service was very unfriendly; you could tell he didn't enjoy his job at all, which is understandable for a waiter—but I still don't think you should treat guests like that. We didn't think the curry was bad—it was quite heavy on (coconut) milk. However, we also ordered summer rolls and pho, which we unfortunately didn't like at all. Our summer rolls were 90% salad and herbs—no good balance between rice noodles and meat, and they were also slightly torn when they were served (as if they'd been sitting out for a while). We also shared a sushi roll, but I wouldn't recommend it—the salmon wasn't fresh and had a very strange texture. We also had a very strong fishy smell in our mouths after eating it, which shouldn't happen with fresh fish. All in all, it's a real shame because the place otherwise had a cute interior and a pleasant atmosphere.

This was my first time eating here, but it won't be my last! The atmosphere is amazing, the staff are all friendly, and the food was really delicious!! (And I thought the presentation was amazing too.) I can highly recommend it and will definitely be back! 🫶🏽
