We were introduced to this restaurant by friends. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food is top-quality, beautifully presented, and delicious. We've been there several times now and have been delighted every time.

Highly recommended and very good value for money, not to mention the top quality. The service is friendly and attentive, but not intrusive, which made the visit very relaxing. We would definitely be happy to come back.

This was my first time at this Vietnamese restaurant – and I was absolutely thrilled! There were two of us there and we had made a reservation just in case, which turned out to be a good idea, as the restaurant was busy. The service was truly warm: the waiters were super friendly, attentive, and always had a smile on their faces. You immediately felt at home. The food was simply fantastic – fresh, aromatic, beautifully presented, and absolutely worth the price. You can tell the love that goes into the cooking here. We will definitely be back. A real recommendation for anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Vietnamese cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere.

Incredibly delicious, super fresh, and a little show effect with the sushi. Prepare to be surprised. I had the vegetarian soup... super delicious! A purely vegetarian option can often be a disaster and taste bland. Not at On Bui! I'll definitely go back.

I highly recommend it! The short time it took to serve the food was unusually fast, yet the quality was still very good. So, while it was dessert, I just looked at the clock for fun and joked with the owner about it - dessert was on the table in under two minutes 👍😄 Very friendly and pleasant service 👍 Sushi was great. A thin layer of rice and plenty of other things with attractive decorations. That's how it should be! 👌 Pho wasn't quite as good (not very seasoned, the broth was rather bland), and there were very few vegetables. We'd (still) love to come back next time we're in Dortmund 😃

A real highlight in Dortmund! We ate at Ong Bui and were absolutely thrilled. The sushi was not only delicious, but also a real visual experience! The presentation on a small wooden staircase is breathtaking – and then the whole thing is effectively enveloped in a small pot of mist. Simply wow! The quality of everything was excellent, and the prices are absolutely justified – the value for money is 100% right here. You can immediately tell that attention to detail is paid to the work here. The shop is modern, cozy, and stylish – we felt very comfortable. Tip: Be sure to make a reservation in advance, as it fills up quickly, especially on weekends. A clear recommendation for all sushi fans! 🍣✨

A truly fantastic Asian restaurant with an impressive selection of dishes. The sushi was super fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. I also particularly enjoyed the gyoza – crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and with a really good filling. What I particularly liked was the variety of the menu: Whether it's sushi, small appetizers, warm Asian dishes, or vegetarian options – there really is something for everyone here. Everything was prepared with great attention to detail, and you can tell that quality plays a major role here. The service was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was pleasantly modern. The quality of the entire meal was consistently top-notch, so we felt the price was absolutely reasonable. We would especially like to highlight the super friendly service, who was attentive and warm at all times – you immediately feel welcome. A small note: Unfortunately, parking is not free and belongs to the city, so it's best to bring a few coins for the vending machine. Very atmospheric restaurant. Nice decor and good location, at the entrance to the center, next to the parking lot. Waiters very nice. Great menu card, with photos. Large selection of dishes. Everyone will find something for themselves. We have been there many times and every time the food was delicious. My daughter had a birthday and received a Lava Kuchen with a candle and birthday decorations from the restaurant. A very nice gesture. The waiting time for the ordered dishes is short. The portions are large. Soft drinks and teas are delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant

This Vietnamese-fusion restaurant is very good. We had some appetizers and the pho as a main course. The soup was really tasty. The staff is friendly although they are a bit hasty about closing time.

Food was great, nothing to complain about. The map is clean and after a moment you can see the structure behind it. The service is courteous, but during my visit there was only one person who could clearly speak and understand German. The atmosphere is very homely and cozy. Lots of wood on the walls and highlighted with ambient lighting. Gladly again 😁

Since I can't tolerate too many flavor enhancers and cheap soy sauces (allergic reaction), it's not easy for me to find an Asian restaurant that meets these criteria. Ong Bui Asia Fusion is therefore a real recommendation if you have similar problems ;-)

The ambience is great, the food is even better! The best sushi we have ever eaten in Dortmund! Prices are fair for what you get, the staff are friendly and the food is well prepared. We'll definitely be back.

I have nothing to complain about except that it is a bit crowded and some tables are very close together. Make your reservation early enough, it's very popular here!

Wir hatten von dem Restaurant gehört, wollten den "Neuling" mal ausprobieren und gingen daraufhin mal hin. Es war gut besucht, aber wir hatten zum Glück reserviert. Der Service war soweit ok. Das Essen war ambivalent. Die asiatischen Fusion Gerichte waren ok, das Sushi und speziell das Sashimi jedoch nichts Wildes. Insgesamt kein Restaurant, das wir in unsere Liste aufgenommen haben.

The food here is delicious and the staff is friendly, which I didn't like, so it's a table allocation system, some tables are very close to each other and I didn't feel very comfortable. And the tables here are small; If you order a lot of different foods, you will find it inconvenient to place them. Otherwise, this is a great place to enjoy delicious food and the drinks here are original, so that's definitely a plus.

I'm a soup guy, so I went with Vietnam as a starter based on the waiter's recommendation. Spring roll and vietnam. Soup as a main course. Great selection, it tasted good and the service was friendly and competent. We'll be back.

I ordered the Pho Hanoi in the vegetarian version (clear broth instead of beef broth) and was very satisfied. The soup was very tasty and the quantity was totally sufficient. The service and the ambience were also good - I would love to come back 😊

Vegan Pho, broth was basically water. With enough soy sauce it eventually tasted like SOMETHING. For €16 it's just not worth it. Jasmine tea, on the other hand, was delicious.

Interesting Asian dishes, served in an original way. The prices are quite high, but the portion sizes are also large, at least for sushi. There are some vegetarian options in the appetizer program, a vegan pho soup would be nice.

Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ok. Personal freundlich und schnell. Einzig der extreme Küchengeruch hat gestöhnt. Entweder haben wir am falschen Platz gesessen oder der Dunstabzug hatte versagt. Das muss unbedingt verbessert werden.

We had a sushi snack as a starter. The highlight is the presentation with the steam. The eye definitely eats here. The main courses, a bowl with tuna and duck with udon noodles, were also really good. In any case, we will come back to the nicely decorated restaurant. However, the tables are very close together

Pan-Asian menu as the name suggests. Large menu with all kinds of sushi. These are served effectively. A large selection of bowls, soups and curries, plus fresh hot and cold drinks. Fast and attentive service. It's better to reserve from early evening.

The food in this restaurant is very good, especially the sushi, but the other main dishes are also delicious. The prices are reasonable and I would definitely come back. However, one star is deducted because the main courses are served too quickly after the starter. It would be better to give guests time to enjoy and a short break so that the meal experience is more relaxed. Otherwise you will feel rushed. :)

The service staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the food is all very tasty and beautifully presented. There was nothing that wasn't tasty. The sushi in particular is a clear recommendation. I would also like to highlight the homemade lemonades, which are beautifully prepared and beautifully refreshing. I recommend this restaurant for everyone who likes sushi and the like!
