Pizzeria Da Salvatore in Füssen

I happened to go to this place by accident (the restaurant I planned to go to had a Ruhetag that day), but it turned out to be the best accident ever. This place is awesome, the pizza was out of this world, like being transported right to Italy and tasting summer, I'm not even exaggerating. The owner made the pizza himself and he brought it to us, and he was really sweet and kind. I definitely recommend the place.

I was there with my family, although we didn't have a reservation, we received a very friendly welcome. The pizza was excellent and the atmosphere was extremely pleasant. The staff was very friendly and you can feel the family atmosphere. It was particularly nice to see how the pizza was freshly prepared. We were visiting Füssen and I can highly recommend the Pezzeria. If I'm in the area again I'll definitely stop by again.

We were passing through (Lech hike) and came here spontaneously. Very tasty food. The Pizza Diavolo and the Pasta Carbonara were sensational!!! An extremely friendly boss “Salvatore”. Price-performance ratio definitely fits here. The decor of the restaurant is simple, but you feel comfortable. We would be happy to come back in December 😀

Italian hospitality! We were in the old town in Füssen on Monday after our arrival. We were surprised by a strong thunderstorm and also by the hospitality of Salverdore. We ate delicious pizza there and were not asked to pay extra even after about 1.5 hours. Salverdore tried to deliver a taxi for us, unfortunately without success. When the storm subsided, we returned to our accommodation full and in a good mood. Thank you very much, we'll be back.

When I stopped by the town of Fussen, I chose this restaurant for lunch as it had a high Google rating. A small casual Italian restaurant in the center of town. The restaurant is not very clean, but it has the atmosphere of a local restaurant. A cheerful old man from Sicily took my order, but when I asked him for ``coffee after,'' he apparently said ``apple water,'' and instead I was given water that tasted faintly of apple juice, which I didn't order. I came (for a fee, of course). Well, the margarita pizza was delicious, so let's just say it's okay.

Salvatore treated us spectacularly. We arrived when they were closing and not only did they treat us very kindly but they made us homemade lasagna, with all the patience. Very good food and better people. A pleasure to meet you. A hug!

Unfortunately, the food was not good. I ordered spaghetti with vongole, which was a bad idea—the clams were inedible. The pizza was also below average. It really does not deserve a rating of 4.6. On the other hand, the staff was very kind.

I bought two pizzas, one with mushrooms which was very bland and basic, second with some parmesan, which was much better. The waitress did not speak English or visit round much, the outside of the pizzeria doesn't look bad but the bathroom you need to reach through the inside, going behind the staffs kitchen. It felt very weird. I wouldn't recommend going there.

I saw a couple with this package on the street and asked them where they bought it 🤣 I was hungry, so I ordered takeout and ate the zucchini pizza recommended by the staff. I visited in May 2024 and I think it was about 12 euros, so I think it's a good value for money! You can only pay in cash. I wanted to try squid pizza, but I was told that they don't have it at the moment.

Great store! We passed by Füssen during a long racing bike tour and were at Salvatore's. Completely inconspicuous from the outside but that's exactly what attracted us. The store was well attended and the menu was small and clear. Absolutely nothing special inside BUT very nice staff including pizza bakery/chef, great prices and the food was super tasty (pizza bacon + gnocci with tomato sauce and mozzarella. Above all, the pizza was very, very good. Will come back on the next round through Füssen !

Their aglio olio is the absolute worst. It was bland, drenched in oil and had no garlic taste. There were no ingredients, except for a few leaves and a dead fly. Appalled that I paid €10 for an empty stomach and a horrible mood?! My friend who ordered their lasagna found it mid too. Terrible experience, would not recommend.

We ate at this pizzeria today on the recommendation of a local and it was just great! The decor is simple, as you would expect from Italy, but the food is really tasty, especially the homemade lasagne. The pizzas are also really recommended. The service was super nice and we had a really good chat with the owner from Sicily. We will come back in any case!

The pizza was nice, tho the peppers on it were not spicy at all so the there wasn’t too much flavor. The service was good at first. The man was very friendly and I got my food quickly. However when I wanted to pay, they changed me €6 more for the pizza than it said on the menu. A bit strange how you can accidentally charge 1,5x more than on the menu. The man did apologize after. Apart from this it was a nice dinner.
