We had coffee, cake and ice cream. The cake was definitely a 9.5/10! The ice cream was extremely delicious. The coffee comes from a fully automatic machine, but tastes very good. The view and decoration are beautiful. Only a few small details were unsightly (loose cables, plastic plants). All in all, definitely worth a visit!

We won't go here again. They don't tell you the time of day when you come in. The whole thing also seems more like a youth project than a proper pizzeria. The mineral water is not opened at the table but brought in carafes. Regardless of whether it is sparkling or not. How do you know that you can't get tap water here? In addition, the carafes are poorly cleaned, not to say dirty. But overall it fits into the picture and the mediocre service. The waiter speaks German very poorly and after the order is placed, another waiter comes and asks for the order again. Errors are inevitable. The prices are neither realistic nor understandable. Example: Pizza salami + mushrooms + garlic = €19.50 Pizza mushrooms + salami + garlic = €18.50 Seriously? What's also not possible is that the table is cleared even though people are still eating. At the end we were presented with a bill showing the spices with the words "These are from me!" were brought, were nicely listed at 1.50 each. In short: There are no professionals working here and the closer you look, the worse it gets. The food itself is okay. Considering the points above, it ends up ruining your appetite.

The restaurant was very clean and inviting and the teracce was lovely. Pizzas were excellent! Didn't have the chance to taste the lovely looking cakes inside, because full stomach, but there were several different cakes! We definitely recommend this Trattoria 😍😋 Greetings from Finland!

I had dinner here today on our vacation with my son. We go out to eat often. I love pizza and my son, even at 13 years old, is still a fan of penne with tomato sauce. I had a pizza tonno with capers and onions and it was actually one of the best pizzas I've eaten in recent years. I'm not giving 5 stars without reason or carelessly, but if you want to eat really good pizza, I can only recommend Franco (by the way, my son was also very happy with his pasta). Incidentally, the owner changed 2 months ago, but the previous owner's name was retained.

Staff was unfriendly, even though the pizzeria was almost empty, they gave us a table in the corner, the serving force tells us you can see here, the other comes and says no here, then the first one comes back and says no because you can't see it again, So I got up and walked away

After several days of heavy German food, we wanted something different. This place was perfect. Every dish was delicious... garlic cream soup, oven fired pizza, tuna on bed of salad, spaghetti bolognaise and tagliatelle carbonara. Plus gelato at the end. Very fresh, quality ingredients, and a chef who knows how to properly season and prepare food...dishes were rich where they should be and light where a heavy chef hand would have ruined it. Plus excellent service. Another plus is parking right in front, although walkable from most of the hotels in Grainau. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Sehr guter kompetenter Service. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Sehr kurze Wartezeit. Das Preis/Leistung Verhältnis ist mehr als angemessen. Wir wären gerne auch bereit gewesen mehr zu zahlen.

Vi har med stor fornøjelse besøgt stedet flere gange under vores ophold i Grainau. Maden er god og veltilberedt. Personalet er i særklasse; et par meget nærværende sympatiske unge mennesker. Vi anbefaler helt klart et besøg, og glæder os til vores næste besøg

Very very friendly staff. The day before yesterday I ate a delicious cake and ordered the pizza I wanted this evening. Super delicious!!! There were small jars of extra parmesan, garlic in oil and a very tasty sauce made from tomatoes and spices for additional refinement. All in all, absolutely recommended!! Unfortunately you can only give 5 stars

The staff was friendly and at least in the evening consisted only of young people, with a relaxed atmosphere. We received two tickets with 5 people, which subjectively isn't a bad thing. The drinks came quickly and the food was worth the wait.

Wir hatten uns ,jeder etwas zu Essen bestellt und Bier dazu.Nach einer wirklich kurzen Wartezeit ,bekam mein Mann sein Essen.Die Getränke hatten wir schon.Nach ein paar Minuten fragte ich ,wann denn mein Essen kommt,die Antwort war:weiß ich nicht,was hatten sie denn bestellt?Beim weggehen rief ich noch hinterher ,was ich bestellt hatte.In der Zwischenzeit hatten wir uns noch Besteck und Servietten vom Nachbartisch besorgt .Nach 5Minuten kam der Service wieder und fragte ,was ich denn genau bestellt habe…nun ,mein Mann hatte längst angefangen zu essen ,und ich wollte nichts mehr ,da ich alleine hätte essen müssen .Es kam keine Entschuldigung oder die Frage nach etwas anderem…wir wollten einfach nur bezahlen.Die Nudeln von meinem Mann waren okay.Ich muss dazu sagen:die Serviekräfte sind sehr jung.Mann hatte das Gefühl ,das die Servicekräfte sich selbst überlassen sind und man hat sich wirklich Mühe gegeben …aber das reicht eben bei weitem nicht aus.Auf Grund dieses Vorfalls ,kann ich das Restaurant nicht weiter empfehlen…

Achtung, Achtung!! Wir waren dort zum Abendessen und haben mit der Kreditkarte bezahlt. Leider wurde uns der Betrag auf der Kreditkarte zweimal abgebucht. Trotz mehrerer telefonischer Anrufe und E-mail schreiben wurde uns das Geld nicht zurückbezahlt. Die Chefin war nie direkt erreichbar.

After we sat down, the waitress came quickly and took our drink request. The drinks came very quickly. But then... menu very confusing, mainly pizzas, ingredients all handwritten behind the pizzas. After placing the order, it took about 75 minutes for the food to arrive. The waitress apologized several times and said, "I'll be right back," but then asked what exactly we had ordered. Ultimately the food was ok, nothing special, unfortunately not like a pizza from an Italian restaurant. It all gives the impression that there are no restaurateurs at work but a team of career changers, trying hard, yes, but neither well-rehearsed nor specialized. Unfortunately, the clothing style of the staff also fit into the picture. Overall, clearly NOT a recommendation.

We had dinner at Pizzeria Da Franco, the staff was incredibly sweet and helpful, the pizza was well cooked and tasted heavenly. We drank apple juice, raspberry lemonade, and for dessert we had ice cream. It was more than we could've hoped for, and we definitely recommend this place if you are visiting Grainau or are on your way to Eibsee.

The pizza with ketchup and chocolate ice cream were very tasty. The pasta was salty but it wasn’t a big problem for me thank you.

The toppings on the pizza were very watery and actually ran out of the box. There was still room for improvement with the salad.

In itself it's a really nice restaurant with a cozy atmosphere but the prices are beyond good and bad... I ordered bruschetta for €9. To be honest, what happened next made me choke up. There were two slices of bruschetta about the size of a slice of baguette. So for €9 I would have expected a lot more. Unfortunately for me it wasn't a pleasant experience as I would have expected more. In terms of taste, it wasn't worth the money either. So prices are artificially inflated for no reason. We won't come here again.

Very nice service, food was also very good, interior open and not too cluttered, but cozy, small menu, daily specials, the focus is on pizzas, I was very satisfied, I would recommend it.

When we arrived all the tables were full. After 10 minutes of waiting we got a table. Even though everything takes a little longer, everything is great. Nice service, delicious food, reasonable prices. Here you can also get regional drinks such as Alpenlimo or Almdudel instead of Sprite.

Pizza was absolutely not tasty. Dough like Turkish Börek.. Nothing Italian at all. Prices super high. This untasty pizza costs around €15. Not recommended, rather to be avoided.

We arrived today and spontaneously looked for dinner. We really liked the ambience as well as the service and especially the delicious food. Prices are still relatively reasonable for a tourist region, but the environment was certainly right. Thanks to the warm innkeeper!

We ordered bruschetta and two pizzas here for pickup. The food was ready on time! The bruschetta tasted good. However, the pizzas were extremely salty, so unfortunately we can't recommend them. Ist ein schönes Lokal mit einer netten Bedienung, allerdings ist der Preis von 12,60€ pro Pizza überzogen, sie ist ziemlich fettig und kross.

Wir sind wegen den guten Bewertungen dahin gegangen. Leider kann ich diese nicht teilen an gefangen bei der Pizza diese war nur o.k. Man sagte uns sie haben nicht alle Beläge für die Pizzen da z.b. Peperoni, frische Pilz, etc.

Das Eis ist einfach beste in der Gegend! Ein Kugel für 1,7€ und so lecker! Pasta ist auch super frisch, warm und köstlich! Zum Mitnehmen machen sie ein Rabatt 1,5€. Das Restaurant kann ich nur empfehlen! Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und professionell!

Der Wirt war sehr nett und man fühlt sich willkommen. Das Essen war jedoch nur ok. Die Pizza war mit sehr wenig Käse bedeckt, die Nudelportion war recht klein und die Bechamelsoße der Lachslasagne hat leider stark nach Mehl geschmeckt.

Das Lokal überzeugte und vom ersten Eindruck von dem, was wir sahen. Auch das Essen sah beim alleinigen Anblick nicht ganz so schlecht aus. Leider war es geschmacklich ein absolutes Desaster. Können wir leider gar nicht weiterempfehlen, es gibt einige super leckere Restaurant am unteren Dorfplatz, aber hier waren wir leider sehr enttäuscht. Die Soße der Lasagne schmeckte roh und ungewürzt, der Pizza fehlte es an Salz und sie war zu lange gebacken. Preislich sogar teurer als andere Italiener im Ort, die uns wirklich sehr gut gefallen haben. Den Kellner schien es nicht sonderlich zu interessieren, dass es uns gar nicht geschmeckt hat und so lies er uns ohne Kommentar diesbezüglich gehen.

Die Pizza war der absolute Knaller. Richtig schön kross (auch in der Mitte nicht matschig) nicht zu viel Käse, gut gewürzt. Für die Faulen schon vorgeschnitten 😁 wir haben schon lange keine so gute Pizza mehr gegessen!

Heute spontan anhand der Bewertungen bei „da Franco“ angerufen und einen Tisch reservieren können. Wir hatten Bruschetta, großen Salat mit Hähnchen und Thunfisch Pizza. Alles sehr lecker!!!! Momentan nur Tischreservierungen möglich und von Do-So geöffnet, weil Personalmangel. Drücken euch die Daumen, das sich das Problem bald lösen wird.

Habe eine Pizza Da Franco und Bruschetta zum Mitnehmen bestellt. Geschmacklich 10/10. Selten so gut italienisch gegessen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Restaurant sah auch sehr gemütlich aus von Innen

Wir hatten Pizza, Salat, pizzabrot und Pasta. Alles zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit. Es war super lecker, Personal auf Zack und sehr freundlich.

Waren jetzt endlich mal in der Pizzeria Da Franco in Grainau. Eine Location, wo in der Vergangenheit immer mal wieder der Wirt oder das Gastro-Konzept wechselte. Man hat einiges gehört und gelesen, jedoch wollten wir uns jetzt endlich mal ein eigenes Bild machen. Seit 2013 geführt und trotz gesundheitlicher Zwangspause zwischenzeitlich ist der Wirt jetzt wieder seit geraumer Zeit für seine Gäste da. Klar ist es nicht der Nobel-Italiener mit raffinierten Gerichten im Potsdamer oder Berliner Szeneviertel, aber was wir vorgefunden haben, war solide. Carpaccio mit kleinem Beilagensalat( nicht mit Dressing ertränkt, sondern mit gutem Olivenöl und Aceto Balsamico), Cannelloni und Pizza ( mit gutem Teig und Belag ) sowie hausgemachtem Brot. Der Wein war kein Spitzen-Lugana aber er war gut. Es gab zum Abschied noch zwei milde, leckere Grappa aufs Haus. Wir sind jetzt noch einige Tage in Grainau und im Herbst auch wieder und werden dort sicher noch mal essen gehen.

It was very reasonably priced considering the other options near by but the near by Pizzeria Trattoria L’italiano has better prices and a much nicer atmosphere since it is not on the main road and has a lovely garden to eat in. The Spaghetti Aglio e Olio was a bit disappointing for what it was. The Cannelloni alla Fiorentina was over done with the cheese and the cream kind of threw off the dish. It was a good place to get food when there isn’t another option but it could definitely use some work.

Die Pizza war in Ordnung, Donnerstag gibt es jede Pizza für 6,50, ist aber auch nichts besonderes. Die Pasta haben wir allerdings nicht probiert.
