Pizzeria Costa Smeralda in Idar-Oberstein

Das Essen war jedesmal gut und preislich angemessen. Der Service ist manchmal etwas Chaotisch, das liegt wohl daran, dass auch jeder bemüht und es keine feste Einteilung der Tische zu geben scheint. Aber lieber einmal mehr gefragt, als wie in anderen Lokalen vergessen zu werden. Fazit es schmeckt und wir gehen gern wieder hin.

Ins Costa Smeralda sind wir auf Empfehlung unserer Wirtsleute gelangt und hatten einen Tisch im Außenbereich reserviert. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und in Richtung unseres Tisches geleitet. Trotz der Bitte um Geduld in der Speisekarte, da alles frisch zubeteitet wird, wurden Getränke und Speisen zügig serviert. Das Essen war sehr lecker, meine Ravioli Verdi (mit Butter und Salbei) klasse, der Rest der Familie war mit seinen Pizzen und Gnocchi ebenfalls sehr zufrieden. Der Service war freundlich und gut, so wie es in guten Restaurants sein sollte. Insgesamt war der Besuch wirklich ein schönes Erlebnis, danke dafür!

Das Ambiente entspricht ein bisschen dem ganzen Ort, in die Jahre gekommen. Dennoch wird man mit freundlichem Service und charmanten Lächeln bedient. Das Essen ist ausgesprochen gut und die Preise sind sehr niedrig. Wer in Idar Oberstein hält macht, sollte hier einkehren..

Waren nach einer Wanderung dort essen. Meine Begleitung hatte eine, zugegeben etwas ungewöhnliche Pizza Calzone, ich selbst eine Combinazione... Beide Gerichte waren super lecker und der Service war sehr nett. Zum Abschluss gab's noch einen Marsala.

Alles lecker,außer die Salat Soße. Ist leider ein fertig Produkt und schmeckt nicht

Sehr schönes Lokal im Herzen von Oberstein. Die Bedienungen sind freundlich und arg auf Zack (jedenfalls immer wenn ich dort bin)! Das Essen ist sehr sehr lecker. Ich kann nur die Nudeln und das Cordon Bleu empfehlen, die Pizzen sind auch lecker! ..... habe bestellt immer beste Qualität aber die Brusketta waren sehr durchgeweicht... kenne es auch net mit einer Tomatenscheibe sonder Stücken... würde vlt dagegen helfen :-) da war ich etwas enttäuscht 😞

Immer wieder gerne. Sehr freundliches Personal, leckeres essen (und man wird satt). Sitzplätze draußen sind halt direkt an der Straße und der hintere Teil ist im einen gewölbten, nicht so gut belüftbaren Teil, der Gastraum hingegen ist super. Kann man nur empfehlen: bisher verschiedene Gerichte getestet und alle würde ich weiterempfehlen!

Pizza versalzen und als ob aus der Tiefkühltruhe

Leider 😔 war und isst die Pizza ein echter Reinfall labericher Teig und komischer Geschmack der ganzen Pizza leider schon das zweite Mal schade

Überdurchschnittlich gutes Essen, war wirklich überrascht. Hatte Cannelloni mit frischen Pilzen und ein Dessert. Hätte ich zu dem Preis wirklich nicht erwartet.

Ich kenne das Restaurant schon seit mehr als 20 Jahren. Das Essen ist gleichbleibend lecker und schmackhaft. Über Vorspeise, Pasta und Pizza bis hin zu Fleischgerichten wurde alles schon probiert und es gab nie einen Grund der Beanstandung. Es ist immer eine gute Qualität und die Preise sind auch in Ordnung. Der Service ist immer nett und aufmerksam. Ich komme sehr gerne dorthin.

Wunderschön und sehr gutes Essen das aber auch seinen Preis hat. Im oberen Speisezimmer ist es sehr gemütlich.

Sie geben sich als italienisches Restaurant aus, aber von Italien ist nur noch das Schild übrig. Die Speisekarte hat nichts mit Italien zu tun, das Personal ist völlig empathielos und so kühl wie der Laden selbst. Die Preise entsprechen denen eines Sternerestaurants.

Wir waren durchs Internet auf diese Pizzeria aufmerksam geworden Wir hatten nichts reserviert und hatten Glück und uns wurde ein Platz angeboten Das Lokal war gut besucht was dafür spricht das es in der Qualität des Essens nicht schlecht sein dürfte Der Service war top freundlich nett und sehr aufmerksam Wir bestellten selbst hergestellte Pasta sowie Pizzen Das essen war frisch zubereitet und sehr köstlich Eine der besten Pizza Einfach Top Die Pasta wie angeboten Handgemacht und köstliche abgeschmeckt Fazit sollten wir wieder in Oberstein sein werden wir auf jeden Fall wieder einkehren Hinweis eventuell vorher einen Tisch reservieren um nicht enttäuscht zu werden Volle Punktzahl

Mein Mann und ich gehen schon seit Jahren in die Pizzeria Costa Smeralda und sind sehr zufrieden. Ob Geburtstage oder Treffen vom Verein, an Feiertagen wie Weihnachten oder wenn man Sonderwünschen hat, die Servicekräfte sind immer außerordentlich freundlich. Ob selbstgemachte Nudeln, die leckeren Salate, frische Pizza oder Fisch- und Fleischgerichte, die Qualität bleibt beständig auf hohem Niveau. Wir wurden noch nie enttäuscht und können das Restaurant mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen 🥰

Beste Pizza und Pasta in Idar Oberstein!!!!!

Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Bedienungen war sehr freundlich. Wir saßen in einem Gewölbe Raum, sehr schön eingerichtet und ein gemütliches Ambiente, aber die Lautstärke war sehr sehr laut. Man konnte sich nicht normal unterhalten, man musst den gegenüber Sitzenden anschreien. 😩

Das Ambiente ist sehr schön, sehr nette und kompetente Bedienungen. Das Essen war lecker, vielleicht für mein Geschmack etwas Zuviel und zu gut gewürzte Soße an den wunderbaren, leckeren selbst hergestellten Nudeln. Alles in allem auf jeden Fall ein Daumen hoch und empfehlenswert.

Top Italiener am Ende der Fußgängerzone. Tolle sardische Gerichte, netter Service, angemessenes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Wer gerne italienisch isst ist hier genau richtig!

Haben uns zwei Pizzen zum mitnehmen vor Ort bestellt. Das Serviceteam war sehr freundlich und die Pizza schmeckt hervorragend. Kommen bei unserem nächsten Urlaub wieder. Vielen Dank!

Auf der Durchreise haben wir hier einen Tisch bekommen, obwohl alles voll war. Sehr nettes, aufmerksames und vornehmes Personal. Das Essen war hervorragend. 5 Sterne sind noch zu wenig!

The food there is delicious. However, it can be a bit noisy at times. The service is very good.

My visit here was unfortunately not as described in the other reviews. Aside from the hair in the food and the unfriendly service, I personally didn't enjoy the meal at all. The unfriendly service was particularly unacceptable. What I found absolutely appalling was the serving of the carpaccio without lemon, olive oil, or balsamic vinegar. The accompanying, supposedly homemade bread was simply a store-bought baguette from a discount supermarket. A glance into the kitchen confirmed my suspicion that an Italian was actually cooking there – sadly, no. You won't be seeing me at this restaurant again.

Only delivering for orders over €20 is fine! But to accuse me of lying and say that's always been the case, even though I've ordered from them several times before... Ridiculous.

We went there because we wanted to eat pizza. My brother wanted to order a ham pizza, and when he asked how much ham was on it, the waitress just said, "Well, there's ham on it," in a really unfriendly way. Then, when we pointed it out to her, she said, "Well, then just leave." So we left and went to Village, which was much better and had delicious Vietnamese food.

I've been here about 20 times, always ordered steak, and have always been very satisfied. This was my first time trying pizza because friends recommended it. I was totally disappointed; the dough was unworthy of a pizzeria – soft and chewy. There were 11 of us. 9 were satisfied; 7 had meat or salad that was okay, and another 4 had the same experience as me. These things happen, but I thought I'd mention it; it might be helpful. Cheers.

They could write that the kitchen closes at 9 pm. The snappy waitress's statement that it's written on the door is ridiculous over the phone.

The best pizza I've had in years!

I was offered a delicious alternative to the classic lasagna, which I unfortunately can't eat anymore due to gluten intolerance. Thank you very much. The staff was very friendly.

An absolute hit! A truly fantastic Italian restaurant – top-notch service, outstanding food, and fantastic specials. The wines are also highly recommended. One small negative: The fact that they don't offer espresso on the house and instead charge €2.80 is a complete no-go for me. That's why they deduct one star.

Unfortunately, I rarely manage to eat there, but it's always outstanding. Especially because of the good food, the wide selection on the menu, and the super friendly staff. 6 out of 5 stars 😁

Always good Best pizzeria in Idar Oberstein

The world's best carbonara and generally all the dishes we had during our field trips were simply a 10/10. The service was very attentive and friendly. The food under the tent was rather mediocre, but since it's always very busy, we were happy to snag a seat outside. We highly recommend it.

We wanted to eat at 8:40 p.m. on Sunday and were sent away with the explanation that the kitchen had already closed. However, other guests had just-brought food on their tables. The service wasn't very friendly. I was there last year at 9 p.m. and got something to eat without any problems. Back then, the service was very friendly and the atmosphere was great. Unfortunately, things seem to have changed.

I've never eaten better lasagna! It's amazing...!!! However, you should definitely use smaller, square aluminum trays for home delivery! Unfortunately, they fall apart in the large, round trays... This place has been around forever, and where else can you get homemade ravioli of the highest quality...

The food was absolutely delicious, something different than just pizza. Italian at its finest.

I have no idea how this place has 4.6 stars. The pizzas are perfectly round, clearly indicating they’re not freshly made and they’re using frozen bases and just putting toppings on them. The carbonara was also unlike any I’d ever had; it was way too much bacon, the Parmesan was just bit slices that never mixed into the sauce, and it was served with a raw egg on top that I had to mix into myself. It was the least inspired Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to. We arrived with low expectations and still had them unmet.

Disappointment instead of Sardinia Unfortunately, the Costa Esmeralda Sardinia restaurant didn't live up to its name. As connoisseurs of Sardinian cuisine – we spend a large part of the year in Sardinia – we know exactly what authentic dishes should taste and look like. We were served coarsely chopped lasagna instead of the advertised tagliatelle. The sauce, supposedly made with porcini mushrooms, was obviously made from a powdered mixture – watery, tasteless. With it, some broccoli – disappointing both visually and taste-wise: dark, unappetizing lumps carelessly scattered across the plate. In response to our feedback, we were told that they cater to "German tastes." But why, then, a Sardinian name and a corresponding menu? This restaurant has nothing to do with authentic Sardinian cuisine. Anyone seeking authenticity and quality should steer clear.

The pizza was very good! (We have a lot to compare it to; we're picky). The selection on the menu offers flavorful combinations. The dough had the perfect consistency (thin, dense), the crust wasn't too bubbly or thick, and the toppings were wonderfully thinly sliced and spread evenly. "The whole is more than the sum of its parts": light, fresh tomato sauce, everything blended together so that you can taste the individual components yet still create a unified flavor. I'm thrilled! After baking, I added a tiny pinch of oregano—it couldn't be more perfect!

Great service, super delicious food, the kitchen made my sauce something different from broccoli, so they're also flexible. I was very satisfied. What deducted a star for the ambiance was that the entrance smelled like there were 20 full ashtrays there. I have no idea where that came from, but at least the smell in the restaurant is gone.

4.7.25 I was here for the first time today. I've heard a lot of good things. It was simply fantastic. The pictures speak for themselves. 5 stars is actually not enough. I'll definitely be back.

We have known this restaurant for over 30 years and have always enjoyed coming here. However, it has changed for the worse...you only get served quickly. We hadn't even finished our starter when the main course was already served. The pizzas were kept warm until we had finished our starter, and they tasted that way. It has happened to us several times...unfortunately, you aren't given the time to eat leisurely. It seems to us that quantity counts over quality. Unfortunately! There has been far too much commotion in the restaurant since they started offering a delivery service. Everything is handled in the entrance area, but it is still hectic.

Italian restaurant specializing in Sardinian cuisine. I ate authentic Italian spaghetti carbonara here. It was simply fantastic and highly recommended.

We would have liked to try something there. Unfortunately closed (since it opened yesterday) With one click you could have noted this on Google Maps and saved frustration.

The food and drinks taste fantastic and are beautifully presented and there is a lovely atmosphere. When all the tables are occupied, it gets a little louder, but thanks to the clever layout of the rooms, it's hardly noticeable. The toilets are clean, children are well looked after and it's just fun to be treated to Italian flair.

Good day Unfortunately I don't understand the reviews. We came from further away and our expectations were high. Since all the tables were fully booked, we took the food with us. We ordered pizza calzone, cannelloni and penne cream sauce with ham. 1.The calzone was a pizza and over seasoned. The dough was still floury and not cooked through. 2.Cannelloni was a great idea but the tomato cream sauce was salty and really drowned out the dish. The ham didn't come into its own at all - a huge disappointment for €15. Unfortunately, the shape of the cannelloni no longer had anything to do with cannelloni. 3. The penne with cream sauce and ham, actually a very light dish that every snack bar offers, was nothing special. There wasn't much expectation there but unfortunately the penne wasn't there Al dente and the sauce unfortunately a touch too much salt. Unfortunately only 2 stars, they have a very nice staff but unfortunately they don't represent Italian cuisine. Greetings from the Persichella family

Today we ordered pizza, lasagna and salad. The lasagne was, so to speak, subterranean. I would in no way have suspected an Italian pizzeria behind this dish, but rather a failed attempt in the kitchen. 10 layers of lasagna sheets stuck together, the minced meat floating around it in a curdled sauce that was watery and light yellow, no trace of tomato sauce. The salad was also watery, probably because the green lettuce came straight out of the water without being shaken off, but at least this was fresh. The pizzas we were raved about also didn't meet our expectations - the children's pizza was very salty, and if there was too much there, it would have been good in the sauce. CONCLUSION: Never again, what a shame. Our hosts were very disappointed. And us too!

Great Italian restaurant, here they cook with heart and sensibly. I'm thrilled. Nice atmosphere, great service, reservation recommended. Dishes can also be picked up or delivered in the area. We had a rump steak with porcini mushroom sauce, perfectly medium rare, homemade pasta with chanterelles and a cordon blue al maiale. All recommended across the board. Thank you

Food was good and plentiful! Was a nice atmosphere and the toilet was very nice and clean! Service nice and accommodating! Only when I was clearing away the eating utensils did salad dressing drip onto my pants so that I had to use water and hand soap to remove the stains in the toilet! When I wanted to sit back down, the seat was also covered in sauce! After the chair was replaced, the waitress apologized and everything was fine!!

Today I ate with my mother in this Italian restaurant for the first time. We both ordered the same dish (Spagetti frutti di Mare). Food came very quickly (about 10 minutes) but was a big disappointment!! We have never eaten such bad "Spagetti frutti di Mare"!! Seafood (squid and only 2 mussels) from the jar! No shrimp or other seafood but lots of salmon, which is not normally included in a dish like this! Olives and capers en masse which made the dish even more sour! However, the reaction from the service was positive and they offered us to order a different dish without any discussion. We then ordered pizza which we really enjoyed!

Der Chef kocht seit Jahrzehnten selbst. Selbstgemachte Pasta und immer die gleiche gute Qualität. Man kann die ganze Karte durchprobieren und wird nicht enttäuscht werden.
