We stayed in the hotel and ate there too. I have eaten the best gnocchi so far and the staff are all very attentive, nice and quick. Pizza is also absolutely brilliant. The next time we visit Bernkastel Kues, we will definitely stay at La Dolce Vita. We recommend!!!

The restaurant is very small but stylishly decorated. On our evening all the tables were fully booked and I found it a bit cramped. The volume level of the conversations was therefore very high and it was difficult to hold conversations at times. I definitely recommend making a reservation in advance. We were warmly welcomed. The service was good and not intrusive. The portions were very generous. Here a salad plate is already a challenge, e.g. B. the “Insalata italiana”. The plate was full to the brim and looked very appetizing. “Carpaccio di Filetto di Manzo” is attractively presented at the table. All dishes are lovingly prepared. Here the eye eats too. Some dishes already come with a small salad. My choice fell on “Bistecca al dragoncello con pepe: rump steak with estdragon and red pepper in a light sauce with vegetables and tagliatelle”. I thought the dish was delicious! My husband had a “calzone” and thought it tasted good. Unfortunately, one of the people sitting next to us ordered the wrong dish, and the restaurant didn't come along to find a solution. I found this to be a great shame. It could certainly have been solved gallantly. Of course, the guest ordered wrong, but...yeah... The prices are reasonable and the food is freshly prepared. In any case, you can spend a cozy evening there.

A paradise for the palate and senses! I had the pleasure of visiting the wonderful Italian restaurant "La Dolce Vita" and I can safely say that it was the perfect gastronomic experience! From start to finish everything was simply fantastic. The ambience of the restaurant exudes a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The decor is stylish and tasteful, and the soft background music creates a relaxing atmosphere. I immediately felt comfortable and ready to immerse myself in the world of Italian cuisine. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. They were always present to make sure we didn't lack anything. The wait staff was professional and knowledgeable about the food and drinks. They gave us great recommendations that totally suited our tastes. And now for the highlight: the food! The dishes at “La Dolce Vita” were simply stunning. Every bite was a revelation to my taste buds. The ingredients were fresh and of the highest quality, and the preparation was masterful. From starters to dessert, every dish was a work of art. I was particularly impressed by the homemade pasta, which was tender and perfectly al dente. The combination of flavors and spices was to die for. The wine list was extensive and offered a great selection of Italian wines. The sommelier was extremely knowledgeable and helped us select the perfect wine to pair with our meals. This made the dining experience even more memorable. I can only warmly recommend “La Dolce Vita”. It's a place where you can really immerse yourself in Italian food culture. Everything from the service to the atmosphere to the food was just perfect. If you are looking for an authentic Italian experience, this is definitely the place for you. Loved every moment of our time with Giovanni and his team! Excellent starters, entrees and desserts! The wine pairings were exceptional as well. We were grateful to be introduced to this place by local friends otherwise we would have completely missed this hidden gem! Must try for top notch Italian in the area. We will most definitely be back!

Das Essen war wie immer super lecker. Bei Giovanni und seiner Frau Barbara stimmt vom Ambiente, wie zum Beispiel dem Blumenschmuck bis zum Essen und den Getränken, jedes Detail. Das Restaurant La Dolce Vita läd durch seine gleichbleibend gute Qualität immer wieder zu einen Besuch ein.

One the best restaurants in the Nahe River Valley. Giovanni and the Team are amazing. The Wines are spectacular, the food is wonderful and the service is spot on. If you are looking for fine dining in Idar-Oberstein this is your place. I highly recommend it.

Sehr lecker, aber die Wartezeiten sind definitiv zu lang! Wir waren zu sechst und haben uns alle für Pizza entschieden, auf die wir fast 2 Stunden warten mussten. Der freundliche Service hat uns wieder halbwegs versöhnt.

Bester Italiener weit und breit, nicht nur für Pizza! Bestes Carpaccio was ich seit langem gegessen habe!

Das Essen ist sehr lecker. Hier werden hochwertige Lebensmittel verarbeitet, was oft leider nicht der Fall ist. Ein sehr großes Kompliment 👍

Ich war zum ersten Mal hier. Den Salat mit Hähnchen habe ich selten so lecker gegessen😋

Kleines,gemütliches Ristorante,das gehobenen Charme versprüht. Die Speiseauswahl auf der Karte ist ansprechend vielseitig. Wir speisten mit vier Personen. Die Hauptgerichte waren: Scaloppina in Steinpilzsoße mit Nudeln und Gemüse. Das Gericht war ansprechend angerichtet,das Gemüse knackig. Dir Qualität der einzelnen Komponenten war einwandfrei. Der Geschmack war allerdings eher fade und gewöhnlich. Auch die Tris di pasta und die hausgemachten Ravioli waren handwerklich und qualitativ nicht zu beanstanden. Auch hier fehlte es leider an geschmacklicher Tiefe und dem erhofften unverwechselbaren Aroma. Die bestellte kleine Pizza ist wirklich klein,für Freunde eines knusprigen Teigs kombiniert mit frischem schmackhaftem Belag aber genau das Richtige. Die Preise sind für das Handwerk und die Qualität der eingesetzten Produkte angemessen und auf keinen Fall zu hoch. In der Dolce Vita kann man einen schönen italienischen Abend verbringen,mit einer Speisenauswahl für jeden Geschmack. Gerade dieser Geschmack erfüllte an diesem Abend jedoch nicht unsere (höheren) Erwartungen.

Einfach toll dort. Das Essen schmeckt einfach nur Bombe und das Personal ist sehr freundlich (Der Kellner Namens Dario war mir am sympathischsten)

Netter, professioneller und sympathischer Service, gutes Essen. Familienbetrieb-der Chef steht selbst in der Küche 👍🏼 Wir haben das Carpaccio (vor dem Gast nach Wunsch angerichtet), Vitello Tonato, Rumpsteak mit Nudeln und Gemüse probiert. Alles sehr lecker und schön angerichtet. Als Nachtisch Tartufo und Zabaione...nicht nur ein Augenschmaus. Alles sehr gut!

Lange Zeit die Anlaufstelle Nummer 1 für leckeres italienisches Essen, wenn auch der Preis etwas hoch ist. Mittlerweile scheint das Restaurant jedoch leider von seinem guten Ruf zu leben. Die Preise sind immernoch hoch, die Qualität hat jedoch leider stark nachgelassen. Nicht mehr das Stammrestaurant in Idar-Oberstein. Die letzten Male haben mich leider sehr enttäuscht. Von 5 auf 3 Sterne. Sehr schade.
