Pizzeria Capriccio in Wermelskirchen

We had a reservation. The restaurant was empty except for one table. We were seated in a corner by the restroom bar and the back exit. The worst part was at a high table with a broken bar stool. Unbelievable. When we asked for a different table, Mind you, it was empty, the answer was, "No." I said to my companion, "What a shitty place!" Then the waitress (woman) became really rude and abusive. I could have said I wanted a different table. We've never been there before, how would we know there were tables like that? Which I then told her, I've never been treated like that. Even more unbelievable. To top it all off, she kicked us out. We then left and went to the Toscana restaurant near Café Wild. Great seating, delicious food, friendly service. I can recommend it. And thanks for nothing.

Italian hospitality looks different. We were there yesterday with a reservation. We were given a high table with a broken chair. By the restroom, bar, and exit. When we asked for a different table. (As I said, only one table was occupied), we were told no. My companion said: "What a shitty table! I don't like it." (Maybe I shouldn't have said that), but it was. Then the waitress (female) became quite rude and practically kicked us out. A great experience, never again. It probably wasn't the first time. After that, we went near Café Wild. With nice seating and friendly staff.

We love it here! An authentic little restaurant with delicious food and good value for money.

Favorite Italian. Best pizza in Wermelskirchen and always a successful evening in the small restaurant with an aperitif in your hand.

I can only agree with what the previous speakers have said... A classic, good Italian restaurant, without the frills, and in a good way. Honest, Italian food. Like a living room... When the place is full, it gets a bit louder, but that makes it feel all the more typically Italian. With very good pizza and meat dishes. The starters are delicious. The creamy, baked onion soup is a dream. You can't leave without grappa. It won't be the last time we're there.

Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience at this pizzeria. When we arrived, almost all the tables were free, but for no apparent reason, we were seated at the very back, right next to the kitchen aisle. We weren't given a menu; we had to get a flyer ourselves at the counter. The quality of the pizzas was also, unfortunately, unsatisfactory. The crust wasn't cooked properly on the bottom and was soggy overall. The biggest annoyance, however, came when we paid: The price for the pizzas was suddenly €5 higher per slice than stated in the flyer. When we asked why the prices didn't match, we were told that the prices in the flyer were only for takeout. However, these higher prices weren't listed anywhere, and there was no menu with the correct prices. It seemed as if the owner had simply made up the €5 surcharge. We should have at least been informed about such price differences in advance. Overall, our visit was a negative experience, one that was neither compensated for by the quality of the food nor the service. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this pizzeria!

A real insider tip for all lovers of Italian cuisine! A wonderful experience from the first to the last minute. The atmosphere is cozy and authentic - you feel like you've been transported straight to Italy. The menu offers a great selection of traditional dishes and the quality of the ingredients is outstanding. We particularly loved the homemade pasta and the wood-fired pizza!

Very cozy Italian restaurant! Friendly staff and good food! Last weekend it looked like a dinner show with the singing waiter!! In short, wunderbar!

Excellent, delicious pizza with quality products!!.. unfortunately I live in Turin!! but if I return.. I'll gladly go for dinner

I've never experienced anything so outrageous in a restaurant: 1. I had to argue on the phone because I didn't know exactly how many guests were coming. I could somehow understand that 2. We were actually there with 8 people and consumed a lot and we were simply thrown out at 7 p.m. because the table was only reserved for us until 7 p.m. (this was not communicated to me on the phone!) 3 Most of us want to pay by card. Then we were asked why everyone wanted to pay with my card separately. Conclusion: I can eat a good pizza somewhere else for 13 euros because it wasn't that special for the money, but that kind of tone isn't possible. If I talked like that at work, I would be fired straight away or no one would come to us anymore. Once and never again.

Antonio is what he is, often described as unfriendly, but he is absolutely unique and can be described as special. Actually a good-hearted person, just a little hidden. The food is great, the staff is really great, patient with the boss and guests, and always friendly ♥️ We are in the catering industry ourselves and enjoy going here again and again.

The waiters didn't want to take back a burnt pizza and even demanded to get new ones and pay for them, rude behavior and dirty tables and plates. Never again!

Keine Ahnung wie das Essen hier ist. Aber das lokal war während der COVID-19 Pandemie teils propevoll und manche Gäste stellen gerne mal dicke SUV quer auf den gesamten Bürgersteig. Not great.

Leider nicht weiter zu empfehlen, was unsere Bestellung zum Mitnehmen angeht. Die Pizzabrötchen kosten 3€ und sind so klein das es nur höflich wäre diese als Geschenk dazu zulegen. Die Pizza selbst war leider verbrannt

Kann ich sehr gut empfehlen. Das Essen war sehr gut und der Service freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Innenraum ist modern und gemütlich ausgestattet. Die kleine Außenterrasse ist mit liebe dekoriert, überdacht und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Selbst die Toiletten sind modern und sehr sauber. Daumen hoch 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Das Personal ist einfach super!!!! Das Essen hat sehr lecker geschmeckt die beste Bedienung die ich überhaupt gesehen habe. Und eine sehr nette Mitarbeiterin die uns immer mir einem schönen Lächeln das Essen an den Tisch gebracht hat

Spontan eine Pizza und Salat mitgenommen. Freundliches Personal einfache Pizzeria. Die Pizza und der Salat wurden zügig fertig gemacht. Preis war absolut okay. Überraschend gute Pizza der Salat war auch gut allerdings in Dressing ertränkt. Zum Glück war das Dressing aber lecker. Kommen bestimmt wieder.

Leckeres Essen, freundliche Bedienung, zügiger Service, italienisches Ambiente

Ich war gestern zum 2. mal mit meiner Freundin, Ihrer Tochter und meinem Sohn mit Freundin dort essen. Es war erneut mega lecker! Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt! Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Super lecker. Hebt sich positiv ab. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Guter Boden und Tomatensauce. Eindeutig zu viele Zwiebeln. Wir haben jeder eine große Hand voll Gemüsezwiebeln von jeder Pizza gesammelt.

Hier fühlen wir uns immer wieder wohl. Und das Essen ist immer sehr gut 👍. Begeistert sind wir, zur jetzigen Saison, immer wieder von den Muscheln in Tomatensauce🍅, pikant natürlich. Ganz lieben Dank an Antonio und die gute Seele in der Küche, Graziano. LG Sabine & Franko

habe heute abend eine Pizza bestellt (Nr 35 mit doppelt knoblauch und spinat) einfach nur lecker. So ne geile Pizza hab ich selten gegessen .

Nachdem ich in diesem Restaurant einmal gut und einmal schlecht gegessen hatte, wollte ich noch einmal einen Versuch starten. Aber meine Pizza Calzone war oben drauf verbrannt und die Nudeln bei meiner Freundin waren nicht "al dente", sondern schlicht weg halb roh. Nie wieder gehe ich in dieses Restaurant. Ich werfe mein Geld doch nicht zum Fenster heraus !

Sehr gute Küche mit ausgezeichneten Zutaten. Selbst der offene Wein ist besser als in manch anderen Lokalen die Flaschenweine. Schöne Atmosphäre, warm behaglich, wie ein Kurzurlaub in Italien. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch!
