Pizzeria Bei Mehmet in Schüttorf

I recently visited Pizzeria Bei Mehmet at Föhnstraße 22 in Schüttorf and would like to share my consistently positive experience. Ambience & Service: As soon as you enter, you can tell that the place is full of passion. The staff was friendly, attentive, and quickly assigned us a table. Even though we dropped in on a whim, we felt welcome. The delivery and takeout options also worked smoothly – when ordering by phone, the food was ready for pickup at the agreed time. Food & Taste: The pizza dough was crispy on the edges yet fluffy on the inside – just the way we like it. The ingredients seemed fresh and flavorful: The toppings struck a good balance between quality and portion size. The seasoning and freshness of the sauces and toppings deserve special praise. Even with more specific requests (e.g., extra ingredients or variations), the staff were open and accommodating. Value for Money: I found the prices fair considering the quality and service. The portions were generous – we left feeling full and satisfied. Considering the passion that obviously goes into the preparation, you're really getting a good deal here. Conclusion: Anyone in Schüttorf craving a really good pizza – whether eat in or takeaway – can go to Bei Mehmet without hesitation. Pleasant atmosphere, fast service, delicious food – all in all, a great experience. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to try more from the menu. 5 out of 5 stars.

I think I was talking about the two shop owners before me. Two incredibly friendly and welcoming people. Very patient when I needed to pick up money, helpful when I needed to use the restroom. And aside from the fact that they were both incredibly friendly, the food was absolutely amazing! I had the mozzarella pizza and my boyfriend had the kebab at Mehmet's. Fresh ingredients, crispy bread, delicious sauce, and the perfect amount of garlic made our long workday incredibly enjoyable. I'd love to come back. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience and the delicious food!❤️

In my opinion...so far the best pizza I've ever eaten in my life. If you ever go there, you'll be surprised by the chef's special. Lovely and friendly people.

We drive from Oldenburg to Schüttorf twice a year to enjoy the kebabs and calzones. There are lots of kebab shops in Oldenburg, but none of them can ever compare to Mehmet's kebab. It's unbelievable what an explosion of flavor happens in your mouth with every bite!

We ordered two regular doner kebabs, but unfortunately, we got two doner rolls with just meat and onions. The bread was quite black on the inside and didn't smell good. We paid a total of 16 euros. We ordered large doner kebabs, not doner rolls! There was no salad inside either.

Delicious and inexpensive food. I can recommend this shop.

Good pizza, good kebabs, nice hosts.

This store has never let me down! Years ago this was the kebab man I trusted. Now years later I can claim that I was never sent away after or shortly before closing time (which cannot be said about other places). I was always warmly welcomed and always looked after. The products are different than those from the usual suppliers, but here I know that I will always get something when my heart is crying out for kebab! Simply a great shop that has always been run according to a family tradition. Please keep it up!!!! 🙌🙌

You order and are told a maximum of one and a half hours then it arrives after 2 hours and the order is wrong but the money was still collected

Super good pizzeria. But there is also super tasty kebab. Very nice family.

I ordered a kebab special and unfortunately I wasn't satisfied. After I ate half of the kebab, I had a stomach ache until the next day. The kebab special only had meat, sauce, some cheese and coleslaw on top. Unfortunately there wasn't anything fresh like lettuce, cucumbers and tomatoes. My partner also ate a kebab and couldn't finish it either. Very unfortunate.

Pre-ordering by telephone is not possible because it was deliberately set to busy, embarrassing. Order somewhere else.

Ordered from Mehmet yesterday and it was very tasty, but the bottom of my calzone was a bit burnt. Otherwise there is nothing to complain about. Can recommend the pizzeria :)

Small, good kebab snack bar. Visually it's not a highlight because the store is 30 years or older. There are only 3 seats, so the snack bar is mainly suitable for pick-up or delivery. Poultry kebab is only available on Fri, Sat & Sun. But always clean and the dishes taste delicious across the board. Good pizza, good kebab, always friendly service. Can be recommended without hesitation.

Started weak and slowed down a lot...

We are from Rheine and every time we pass Schüttorf we actually have kebabs from Mehmet. The kebab with cheese gratin is too much for me but the normal kebab is really good 👍 Prices could definitely be a little higher, but if you can live that well I don't want to complain 🙂

The service offered is very good and qualitative, the food is delicious, I order for home, but I also go to eat there and I do this very often, I will definitely go there in the future. The best in Schuttorf and surroundings.

Ehrenbruda Mehmet ist bester Mann. Döner ist richtig lecker und saftig. Die Pizza ist auch richtig geil. Zutaten sind alle frisch unndas merkt man auch. Lieferzeiten aind ein bisschen länger also würde ich es eher empfelen das essen abzuholen. Die Mitarbeiter sind grossherzig: Ich bin mal mit zu wenig geld in den laden reingelaufen weil ich im preis vertan habe und ich habe trotzdem mein essen bekommen. Ich würde es sehr empfelen da mal döner zu holen und ich lehne mich weit aus dem fenster und sage dass es der beste in schüttorf ist!

Das Essen bei Mehmet ist immer sehr lecker und frisch. Als ich dort angerufen habe, wurde mir gesagt, dass ich das Essen in 20 min abholen kann. Ich kam ein bisschen früher und das Essen war bereits fertig. Geschmeckt hat es richtig lecker. Auf den Döner kommt Tzatziki und das Fleisch schmeckt schön würzig. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit meinem Essen gewesen und freue mich schon darauf andere Gerichte auszuprobieren.

Mehmet und seine Frau sind so nett! Die Lieferantin ist auch mega sympathisch. Dazu ist das Essen noch mega lecker! Auch zur späten Stunde bekommt man was zu essen, was gut für die Leute ist, die spätschicht haben. Bestelle nur noch hier!!
