A very nice restaurant with a very friendly and attentive host. We highly recommend "Am Ziegenbrunnen," across from the historic town hall! We visited the cozy Schüttorf for the first time because of the free RV parking, and we're happy to donate the money we saved to local restaurants!

Even half an hour before closing time, the staff was still super friendly and accommodating. They even opened the kitchen again especially for us. Thank you so much for that.

This steakhouse is highly recommended. My friends eat here very often, and I was also completely impressed. We were repeatedly visited at our table and asked if everything was okay and to our satisfaction. A warm, informal atmosphere. The service is exceptionally friendly, and the food is truly excellent. Special requests due to my intolerances were no problem at all. Completely wheelchair accessible. If something isn't right, they'll make it right. I'd be happy to come back.

Dear friends, fancy some excellent food? Desire and pleasure from a very good host who is competent, courteous, charming, and funny? Then off to the "Steakhaus am Ziegenbrunnen" in Schüttdorf! Even the phone reservation was like picking flowers for us. Super friendly and with a smile on their faces. Once we got there, the atmosphere was super friendly. A very nice table, we ordered drinks right by the window, and the first Julischka was already on the table (very tasty)! Then the first recommendation, a greeting from the kitchen? Several different dips with white bread. There were five of us, and every main course was grilled to perfection! Everything was super delicious, super fresh, and prepared with lots of love. Many thanks to Addy, Erika, Frank, Mara, and especially Ralf for the successful evening.

Unfortunately, I was so hungry for the food that I couldn't take a photo 😂 So, I highly recommend this steakhouse. The food was always excellent, and the staff was super friendly. The atmosphere is actually quite nice, but it's sometimes a bit difficult to read the menu 🫣 I'd go back anytime 🥰

Delicious food, we were spoiled with an aperitif and an onion tomato salsa on toast beforehand. The main course (Ladysteak and the special) was tender and well grilled. The beans with bacon and garlic were amazing, so tasty! We would love to come here again 😎

It was wonderful We looked for a place off the highway where we could eat When we arrived there was no space but after less than a minute they had made a space. We were given free apricot shots and bread. The main course was spectacular. Service and quality were above average for the price

I was there for the first time on December 21st, 2024 and I was more than thrilled. I had a T-bone steak which was cooked perfectly. Plus a baked potato and green beans with bacon which had an excellent taste. Afterwards there was a dessert which was also a taste explosion. The ambience is accommodating with soft, relaxing music. The service is very, very friendly and competent. I will definitely come back!

Always made welcome. Staff very friendly and polite, brought treats for my dog (and had the grace to ask first.) Service quick without being rushed. Food excellent. I recommend a surf 'n' turf of rump steak AND grilled prawns starter, but be aware it is a big meal!

Were there for dinner this evening. It was really really tasty. Great team for that, thumbs up 👍 Food was on point with steaks with baked potatoes and steak fries. Very cozy, tasty and recommended.

We visited the steakhouse as a large family group. We were greeted very warmly at the entrance and shown straight to our seats. We were well looked after by the staff for the rest of the evening. The menu includes, as you might expect, steak in a variety of forms with the classic sides such as steakhouse fries and beans with bacon. Additionally, a selection of Balkan specialties is offered and even some vegetarian options. The quality and presentation of the dishes is, in short, excellent! From the salad to the steak to the sauce, you can tell that the heart beats for good food here. In relation to the quality and the (very generous) portions, the prices here are very fair. Even though we live less than an hour away, we like to visit the Steakhaus am Zigenbrunnen again. The trip is worth it!

Thanks again. Yesterday, November 5th, 2024, my wife and I were invited by our children and grandchildren to have a meal at the Steakhaus Am Ziegenbrunnen. It was just great how we were welcomed. In the middle of Schüttorf at Markt 15 in Schüttorf near the Ziegenbrunnen is the beautiful steakhouse with the appropriate name “Steakhaus am Ziegenbrunnen”. Parking spaces are only available a short walk away, for example on Steinstrasse. Please pay attention to the parking disc instructions there. Access to the steakhouse is barrier-free as there is a ramp on the side. In the great ambience of the Steakhouse am Ziegenbrunnen we were greeted very friendly and looked after very attentively, courteously and politely throughout the evening. We were initially surprised with a delicious drink, which was followed by a greeting from the kitchen. Both MEGA delicious and thank you again for that. We decided on fillet steak and chose the baked potato with tzatziki and steakhouse fries as side dishes. Before the main courses were served, there was a very, very fresh and delicious salad plate with a brilliant dressing!!! We enjoyed everything and when the main course was served we were thrilled because the degree of doneness we wanted was absolutely met, the steaks were brilliantly tender, the steakhouse fries were crispy and delicious and the baked potato was absolutely delicious. All in all a very successful evening with magical service in a great ambience with kitchen professionals who know something about their job. PRAISES TO THE KITCHEN CREW, THE SERVICE AND THE CHEF! You are a great team and fortunately the new date has already been set for when we will meet again. An absolute recommendation from me! Keep it up, have fun and even more success to the entire team!

The restaurant is all in all a steakhouse as you would imagine. Taste, staff and ambience go very well together.

07/07/24 Greetings from the kitchen: ok Ordered 2 different steaks MEDIUM. Received: 2 "steaks", no more than 15 mm thick, well done. Green beans looked and tasted like they had been reheated several times. Service: This would be assessed as follows in the certificate "They always tried hard..." We refused any “compensation” whatsoever. We just wanted to eat delicious food, which unfortunately wasn't the case for €82. Well, that was it then...

Very good service, delicious food and cozy atmosphere. The waiters/waitresses are very friendly, attentive and quick. Although it is a steakhouse and you get deliciously prepared steaks, it is also worth trying one of the other dishes. The extraordinary hospitality rounds off the evening perfectly.

There was a free short liqueur on Valentine's Day, and the women were given a rose at the end. A small starter was also available for free, otherwise it is rather more expensive. (2 steaks with fries + 1 drink per person went towards €90) the food was good, the service was fantastic. The tables are a bit too small, but the place itself is cozy. All in all a very good shop and more like 5 than 4 stars

Zu lange auf das Essen gewartet, leider nicht so schön

Getränke sehr klein viel Eis zu teuer. Essen wünsche ich mir die Fleischstücke wie in der Beschreibung 250g waren es niemals zuklein Bratkartoffeln schmecken nicht frisch ( fertig Packung) genau wie die Soßen und dafür zu teuer. Wir werden nicht mehr kommen.

Da das Restaurant recht neu ist, hatten wir uns entschieden es zu probieren. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich, das Personal freundlich. Die Wartezeit war teilweise etwas lang, aber vertretbar. Die bestellten Steaks waren köstlich und auf den Punkt gebraten. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

War heute zum ersten Mal mit 2 Kumpels dort, Service sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Atmosphäre im Laden sehr ruhig und schön. Gruß aus der Küche war sehr nett und lecker. Vorspeise Salat war gut Hauptgang sehr lecker und gute Menge zum Satt werden. Preise gehen voll Klar da kann man nicht meckern. Wartezeiten zwischen Vorspeise und Hauptgang war gut getimed. Wir kommen wieder 👍

Bedienung war freundlich. Das Ambiente sauber und gepflegt. Das Essen ließ nicht lange auf sich warten. Heiß und lecker. Teuer war es auch nicht.

Am Wochenende waren wir im neuen Steakhaus 'Am Ziegenbrunnen' essen. Die Speisekarte war noch nicht die finale Karte aber wir haben auch so alle etwas leckeres in der kleineren Karte gefunden. Überrascht hatte uns der Gruß aus der Küche! Für jeden gab es zwei Bruschetta und zusätzlich zwei Scheiben Baguette mit Kräuterbutter! Als Gruß aus der Küche wären wir auch mit der Hälfte voll und ganz zufrieden gewesen. Hoffentlich bleibt dieser Gruß auch zukünftig bestehen; allzu häufig findet man so einen Service nicht mehr. Das Essen kam nach kurzer Zeit und alles war sehr lecker. Zum Abschluss gab es noch einen Julischka auf Eis! Hatten wir so auch noch nicht bekommen, echt lecker! Macht weiter so, dann kommen wir sicherlich wieder einmal vorbei!

Hello, I highly suggest the steak. Its the best steak i ever had. They were very friendly and make sure me and my girlfriend had a nice dinner. I had the steak with fries and corn on the cob. Evey bite of the steak i stopped and just smiled because it was this good. Sadly i dont live in the area so i cant come more often. I would highly recommend to go here.
