The location is truly beautiful, right by the lake. At sunset, it's definitely a lovely spot to enjoy a sundowner or two. The food, for me, had a bit too many convenience ingredients and wasn't warm/hot enough when served.

Very nice location, right on the lake. You have a beautiful view from the terrace, as well as from inside. Service was super fast, albeit a bit rude. It can happen sometimes. The food was tasty overall, but the vegan burger didn't really blow me away. The fries, however, were perfectly cooked. I'll be back again and try more.

Our daughter's little tip: it was excellent: a great view of the lake and delicious food and drinks. It won't be the last time we're here. We really enjoyed it.

The Else am See isn't the cheapest, but it's the fastest. We had just ordered the food, and it arrived about five minutes later. If that's what you want, this is the place. At McDonald's, we have to wait longer. It would be nice if they at least gave customers the feeling that their food was still being prepared. Only the drinks arrived significantly late. The food was delicious, but you can get it elsewhere, just cheaper.

We had a burger with fries, and it was delicious. Even though we didn't have a reservation, we got a table for two. The waiters were all very friendly and attentive. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely eat here again.

I was there for breakfast; there was a variety and everything was okay—but €20 for breakfast isn't exactly cheap. The atmosphere is very nice, though.

Hello, hello A very nice place with a beach, almost like being on vacation :) We were there on our mopeds and unfortunately, as is often the case, there are hardly any parking spaces for motorized (gasoline) cyclists. So we parked wherever there was space and endured the grumbling from the other (battery-powered) cyclists who also parked where they shouldn't! Anyway! Great restaurant with exemplary service, very friendly and extremely fast. Unfortunately, the beef burger was a bit cold and the meat was very dry, even though it arrived in 5 minutes. All in all, it was really worth taking a break there. Thanks, Else am See

Beautiful place to relax at a bathing lake

We visited for the first time on the way back from our vacation. It was a great choice for a meal. The staff were super nice to our 2-year-old. They have a great kids' menu. The food was delicious and the service was fast. The building is very nice and welcoming. We definitely recommend it and will definitely come back.

We went to the breakfast buffet yesterday. First-class offerings at a great price. The service is absolutely fantastic, and the staff is also first-class! We would love to come back.

First of all: I almost never give 5 stars. But there's nothing to complain about here. A prime location right on the lake, a beautiful, modern venue. Great food, albeit on the high side. The best part: a very motivated, young service team. That's almost unheard of these days. The kitchen team must also be well-organized; both times the freshly prepared food arrived within just a few minutes. A quick note to management: I think it would be nice if they offered smaller portions for seniors. Not everyone can finish the large portions; otherwise, they have to be thrown away. We definitely recommend it.

The atmosphere is great, the food is decent, and the prices are, in my opinion, very high right now, like everywhere else. The staff is friendly enough. The side salad is terrible!

I've never sat in a restaurant so infested with flies and wasps. Mind you, we were sitting inside, not outside. I understand that it's difficult to keep insects out in the summer, but you can't trust any customer to do that. The food was moderately good value for money; the price seems to be largely due to the location. Service was good, and the staff was always friendly.

I was initially bothered by the informal "du" greeting. I'd never seen the waitress before, and I was immediately addressed informally. Our glasses remained empty for a long time. Although staff passed by us frequently, no one asked if we wanted anything else. The awnings weren't put out until very late. Luckily, we were able to get a spot in the shade. Very nicely located by the water. Payments can be made in cash or by card. Plenty of parking is available.

The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, perfect for a relaxing day or evening. Parking is also very convenient. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately, the food was absolutely not tasty! Both the wrap and the burger seemed to be of really poor quality and didn't taste good either. The atmosphere is really nice, but the main thing is the food.

I think it's the same frozen food as at other chains, only more expensive. Small quantities and high prices. The atmosphere is nice, and the view is nice, too. You're more likely to pay for that here.

The restaurant is located directly on the lake. The space is spacious, with beautiful decor, and there's parking right on site. The service is excellent. We ordered drinks and a light dessert.

Everything was perfect, from the food to the service. Without a reservation on a Sunday afternoon, you can easily get a seat of your choice. The only complaint is that the floor was very crumbly from the breakfast that morning. That's just nitpicking. Highly recommended.

Great place. Great location...needless to say. Service...help...about 15 young people wandering around, all seeming very helpless. Nothing really going on, 1/3 of the tables outside are occupied. Inside, 30% capacity. I'll be back for dinner... Teach the children and the staff... Or have an adult there who knows what they're doing.

The atmosphere by the lake is truly wonderful, as is the breakfast. In the evening, we had the curry chicken and ribs. That, too, was nothing to complain about. The lack of internet reception and the strict monitoring of the parking lot are truly outdated. We were only there for a short time with our camper to eat and got a ticket. Apparently, the city has something against the restaurant business there. It's a real shame. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it.

A beautiful place to eat and enjoy

The food is incredibly delicious, but also a bit expensive. The decor is exceptionally beautiful, but it's also quite crowded and noisy. The waiters are all very attentive, and everything seems well organized. However, some of the waiters seem bored. The price is reasonable, and both of my visits were very satisfactory.
