Finding a super tasty restaurant in the middle of my tourist town, where the price-performance ratio is also right, is great. Our choice when we are in Bernkastel Kues.

We went to Ristorante Da Salvatore 3 times this week. In addition to the friendly service, the nice atmosphere, we enjoyed, above all, the excellent food. No matter whether it was a starter, a main course (pasta or pizza) or dessert including great wine, it was a completely successful evening that we spent there. A real recommendation for us. If Da Salvatore were in our corner, it would have the potential to become our favorite Italian restaurant...

The food is ok, but the service still needs improvement. It's very loud and hectic there. I only got my real food on the 3rd attempt, no excuses, nothing. But you can do that with tourists.

This is by far the best Italian restaurant I've eaten at so far. The pizza and the pasta are a real treat. We were here twice within a week and we will definitely come back. Top!

Pizza and pasta the way we love it. Yesterday Pizza Frutti di Mare and Spaghetti Frutti di Mare. Today Pizza Spinaci e Gamberi and Spaghetti Frutti di Mare again. Super tasty. Very fair prices and great service.

We really enjoyed our meal today here. My wife had the grilled salmon and stated "Puro Diezes" (which is her highest compliment). I felt my pizza had exceptional flavor although I'd give the crust a "very good" at 8 out of 10. We sat outside and enjoyed happy tourists wandering the city. Excellent and quick service. If we were staying here another night, we'd be back.

It is a very attentive owner. We ate very well. In the summer please make a reservation otherwise it will be difficult to get a seat.

Good service and delicious Italian food. The location is in the heart of Bernkastel and therefore very well attended. Anyone who likes Italian should definitely stop by, but it's best to reserve in advance!

Delicious pizzas, very attentive and fast service, the prices are okay too. You can sit comfortably outside in the pedestrian zone, which is surprisingly busy despite the electronic barrier. The toilets are clean.

We had a very tasty meal here and the service was friendly and prompt even though it was very busy.

Had a pizza that was really legendary and huge. The other dishes were also great! The ambience really isn't great, but whatever. It's also better to make a reservation as the store isn't very big.

We had two pasta dishes in my pasta or my spaghetti that had over 50 crabs in it and that for €13.50. The service and ambience is also very good.

Great pizza, very friendly staff

Excellent in a word, anyone looking for Italian cuisine will love this place. The swordfish carpaccio was mouth-watering and the sequel spaghetti vongele from the art. The service is extremely friendly. See you next time in Bernkastl - Kues.

Good pizza in a central location. Nice personel. The fact that there is also a schnitzel with mushroom cream sauce on the menu is a free gift... that probably depends on the clientele that moves through the town. The prices are appropriate and to be expected. The tiramisu was also good.

I can hardly understand the positive reviews here. It was definitely the most tasteless meal we've ever had in a restaurant. The swordfish was watery and only tasted like garlic. The boiled potatoes were canteen quality and the pasta with salmon in spinach cream sauce was completely tasteless and absolutely bland. Whoever cooked this has no talent for it.

Best pizza in a long time! Good ratio of tomato sauce, cheese and toppings, very good dough, not soggy, nice and thin. I've hardly found a better one in Italy. Highly Recommended!

Noisy pizzeria! The turkey schnitzel was convenience!! My tagliatelle with a little salt was tasty. The salad plate was large and fresh. The wine we ordered was more like a wine spritzer. There is still a lot of room for improvement for a good Italian!

We had dinner at Pizzeria Restaurante Da Salvatore. It was indeed a solid choice. Why? Well, first off, the waiters greeted us in Italian and then switched to English with *such* a strong Italian accent 😃. And get this, two of the waiters could've been Stanley Tucci's doppelgänger, and Héctor Elizondo, giving off major 'Big Night' and 'Pretty Woman' vibes all at once 😂. They're not too chatty, but they definitely know their stuff. The food itself was superb. From the delectable pasta dishes, to the steak salad and savory pork schnitzel, each bite was a taste of Italy. Couldn't have asked for better. And we got hooked on the local Riesling white wine. Its sweetness reminded me of the simple joys and happiness in life. Such a perfect pairing with our delicious meal. We brought the kids along, and not sure if the lemon gelatos were complimentary, but the little ones got their dessert, and it wasn't on the bill, bonus points there. If you're after that authentic Italian vibe, this is the spot.

Incredibly good, authentic Italian that we would love to have around the corner from our home. The atmosphere is inviting and homely, yet modern and not overloaded. The staff and the boss himself were incredibly friendly and you can tell that a lot of passion goes into Da Salvatore. Both pizza, pasta and dessert were outstanding and the price-performance ratio couldn't be topped! We would like to come back at any time. The best Italian restaurant in Germany that we have been able to visit so far.

A very nice, clean restaurant. A very good, attentive service. We were there two evenings in a row and can say that it doesn't matter what you eat there, whether salad, pizza (really great), or even pasta, everything tastes very good. We can definitely recommend “da Salvatore” and would be happy to come back.

A lovely Italian restaurant attached to a hotel. It's not that big and is divided up a bit, so it feels very cozy. You should make a reservation as a precaution, we were lucky. The pizzas were well topped but not overloaded and the dough was rather thin, not soggy and soft and also very tasty. The staff is quick and friendly.

Very nice restaurant. Nice service. I had the wiener schnitzel with pommes and salad. This was good to eat. My wife's pizza was mediocre. The crust was tasty but the rest of the pizza was very soft and watery. We prefer crispy. The price, on the other hand, is nothing to complain about. The schnitzel with pizza, coke and 2 half liters for 41 euros is no money.

Tolles Essen, angenehmes Ambiente, Preise sind angemessen und der Service für italienische Verhältnisse sehr freundlich

Wir hatten für sieben Frauen reserviert, bei Ankunft unfreundlich und überfordert, genervt einen Tisch zur Verfügung gestellt bekommen. Erste Getränke kamen, danach wurden wir missachtet und es war schwierig Getränke nachzubestellen. Schade, denn das Essen war wirklich lecker... Tiptop.

Wir waren mit 8 Personen da. - Es hat alles gepasst. - Das Lokal ist bei Touristen beliebt, daher sollte man vorher reservieren. Pizza und Pasta sind gut … aber ein Jägerschnitzel sollte man hier besser nicht bestellen. Preise und Service sind ok.

Heerlijke pizza's en een uitstekende service

Ein spontanes Essen am Sonntag Mittag um kurz vor zwei war kein Problem. Das Essen wurde schnell serviert und Sonderwünsche berücksichtigt. Das Ambiente ist sehr familiär und authentisch italienisch. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Das Essen war lecker und insgesamt ist das Restaurant absolut empfehlenswert. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir waren hier zu viert und haben alle unterschiedliche Pizza gegessen. Unisono sagten alle, daß es die schlechteste Pizza ever war. Total geschmacklos und langweilig. An der Mosel trinkt man natürlich Moselwein. Ich empfinde es dem Gast der auch einen deutschen Wein aussucht als respektlos sich mehrfach anhören zu müssen, daß Deutscher Wein nur als Essig taugt und NUR italienische Weine gut sind. Meiner Meinung ein typische Touri Italiener Laden. Sieht man schon daran, daß er Schnitzel auf die Karte genommen hat.
