The food was plentiful and delicious. Whether pizza or pasta, everything was excellent! They also have draft wheat beer. The service was good and friendly. Italian is spoken among the staff, which gives the atmosphere a special touch. The value for money is excellent! Reservations are recommended.

A very good Italian restaurant that's a must-visit in Bernkastel-Kues. The food was excellent and the portions quite generous. The recommended wine was delicious. A personal highlight was the tiramisu. We'll definitely eat here again the next time we visit the town. Reservations recommended!

We had a wonderful meal at this restaurant. As soon as you walk in, you feel like you're in Italy. The aroma is divine. We had spaghetti vongele and salmon tagliatelle. Absolutely delicious. The teramisou topped it all off perfectly. Highly recommended.

Large portions for little money, it's really worth stopping by here. From the very beginning you feel really at home here, you are warmly welcomed and served, original and authentic Italian cuisine, really delicious food, happy, satisfied and full, thank you very much.

We received a very warm welcome – even without a reservation. Having worked in the restaurant industry for years, I pay close attention to the way I treat guests, and it was impeccable here :) The service was extremely attentive, courteous, and friendly. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We didn't have to wait long, and our hunger was quickly satisfied. Only the dessert offered didn't fit in due to the "heavy" main course ;) We'd be happy to return!

Absolutely unacceptable, arrogant and impertinent. On August 17, 2025, we wanted to have a drink outside the restaurant and maybe something to eat later. The waiter barked at us, saying we could order food first and then something to drink. Without food, there are no drinks. Absolutely abysmal, 0 stars for this shabby behavior. Better to go a bit further; we received friendly service and left our money there. Of course, the same excuse came up again, I can't remember, etc.

The start was a bit unfriendly: no seating, and above all, no complaints. I kept walking and looked for another table. Unable to find one, a table became available after a few rounds. Ordering was impersonal, and the waiter shuffled around disinterestedly. The result: the wrong pasta, an extra wait, and not really a shared meal. No compensation or a proper apology. A cup of coffee on the house would have been appropriate. My pizza was delicious, but the hastily made gorgonzola pasta tasted like cheese soup. Far too much cheese, and the pasta was swimming in it. Could it have been the busyness or simply the uninvolved and unfriendly staff? A little more attention and interest could have prevented a lot of frustration.

As is our annual tradition, on our first evening in Bernkastel, we dined at Pizzeria Da Salvatore. The service was very quick and the waiters were very friendly. The food and the recommended wine were good and offered a good price-quality ratio. We will definitely be back.

It's not possible to join a table at this restaurant. The couple already present had no objections, but the extremely rude waiter said that this wasn't customary – despite the fact that there were people waiting. Simply incomprehensible. Apparently, they don't want to fill the available seats or aren't interested in making a profit.

it was pentacost so busy. We didn't make any reservation. We waited for more than 15 minutes. Employees never tried to give us an indication how long we had to wait. When we discovered that even people with reservation had to wait for 15 minutes we gave up. The food that we saw and smelled looked really good. But the service seems miserable. Next time it's busy please send people away instead of letting them wait without knowing for how long.

Always happy to come back. Staff very friendly and helpful, always smiling. The food is delicious, flavorful, and well-seasoned. Everything is very clean. The restaurant also offers smaller pizza portions for children and adults.

We didn't want to sit at the kids' table, and we were denied another one even though the restaurant was half empty. You have to be able to afford that as a landlord. The restaurant isn't worth a visit. The waiter was very arrogant. Never again.

Overall not recommended. Two out of three pizzas ordered were cold or lukewarm. The cold was complained about and the waitress then said she could put it in the oven again. Unfortunately, it was a pizza with arugula on top, so it wasn't crunchy anymore. The cheese still wasn't melted afterward, the bottom was warm, and the top was still cold. No apology, nothing. Ambience very modern but unfortunately that's not everything. The other two pizzas were okay but no reason to go here again.

Very good food at good prices. The only complaint is that we asked beforehand whether any ingredients were included. This was denied and then included.

We went by chance to eat at this Italian restaurant, to our surprise we were greeted wonderfully by a Spanish countryman (Canarian). The pizzas were great and the pasta with a lot of flavor, the dessert was delicious, you could tell that everything was homemade. Very good service and totally recommended.

We both like Italian cuisine, at the beginning we were asked for drinks and food, which came promptly after 15-20 minutes, unfortunately from that point on there was no further demand, be it whether it was tasty or whether we wanted a dessert, instead we talked non-stop with regular guests, we then went to the checkout because of non-observance and paid :( it's a shame about this unfortunately not so nice experience

Real Italian food with an Italian owner who oozes hospitality. Own wine imports and everything fresh. Tagliata was a little too medium instead of rare, but tastes fine.

I had dinner there with my wife and celebrated my son's birthday there and had agreed to celebrate my wife's birthday there from midnight. At 10:30 p.m. we were informed that the restaurant would soon be closing and we were no longer able to place an order, even though we had agreed otherwise. We didn't get the Prosecco bottle anymore. I've never experienced anything like that in my life.

It was our first time in the city and the restaurant was recommended to us by the hotel. So make a reservation for the evening straight away. Then the surprise! All tables were occupied and we were asked to walk for another 10 minutes and a table would be prepared. After 20 minutes still no table available, no apology - nothing. We were just left standing in the hallway. After waiting for 5 minutes, we expressed our anger and left. Very unprofessional, never here again. We then left our money in another restaurant. Something like this has never happened to us in this form. Grade 6!!!! By the way, it was last night. Should be remembered.

Best Italian in Bernkastel and the surrounding area.

After a long hike to Bernkastel-Kues, we were looking for a restaurant for lunch and this one was a hit!😊 We were allowed to take our (large) dog in and the staff was very friendly and attentive. The ambience is cozy and quiet for a restaurant, so you could chat in peace. There is a good selection of dishes that taste very good! In addition, it is a reasonable price-performance ratio that cannot be found in every restaurant that is often visited by tourists. We'd love to come back!😊

We went to Ristorante Da Salvatore 3 times this week. In addition to the friendly service, the nice atmosphere, we enjoyed, above all, the excellent food. No matter whether it was a starter, a main course (pasta or pizza) or dessert including great wine, it was a completely successful evening that we spent there. A real recommendation for us. If Da Salvatore were in our corner, it would have the potential to become our favorite Italian restaurant...

The food is ok, but the service still needs improvement. It's very loud and hectic there. I only got my real food on the 3rd attempt, no excuses, nothing. But you can do that with tourists.

This is by far the best Italian restaurant I've eaten at so far. The pizza and the pasta are a real treat. We were here twice within a week and we will definitely come back. Top!

We really enjoyed our meal today here. My wife had the grilled salmon and stated "Puro Diezes" (which is her highest compliment). I felt my pizza had exceptional flavor although I'd give the crust a "very good" at 8 out of 10. We sat outside and enjoyed happy tourists wandering the city. Excellent and quick service. If we were staying here another night, we'd be back.

Good service and delicious Italian food. The location is in the heart of Bernkastel and therefore very well attended. Anyone who likes Italian should definitely stop by, but it's best to reserve in advance!

Delicious pizzas, very attentive and fast service, the prices are okay too. You can sit comfortably outside in the pedestrian zone, which is surprisingly busy despite the electronic barrier. The toilets are clean.

We had a very tasty meal here and the service was friendly and prompt even though it was very busy.

Had a pizza that was really legendary and huge. The other dishes were also great! The ambience really isn't great, but whatever. It's also better to make a reservation as the store isn't very big.
