Worst experience. I live nearby and always wanted to try the pizza place. I was excited to try something new. They don’t accept card and they get so shocked when you want to pay with card. How can such a big restaurant cannot accept card. And they don’t say it anywhere or write up a notice that they only accept cash. The owner was so rude. He was looking at me as if I came to steal his food. Worst customer experience. I had to run home to get cash. I ordered a small pizza for 10 eu and it was soo small. Food was okay, but overall experience was so poor. Never going again.

We arrived at the restaurant around 9:30 p.m. with a group of about 12 people (opening hours stated until midnight). Upon entering, we were immediately informed that the restaurant would be closing soon and that we should hurry. The food was okay, though rather mediocre in taste – the pizza, for example, tasted like it came from a frozen product. A football game played continuously on a private TV in the background, which somewhat dampened the atmosphere. During our meal, the waitress repeatedly warned us to hurry, which made the overall experience less than relaxing.

A real insider tip that you might not recognize at first glance. The pizzas are significantly better in the restaurant than for pickup. The wine recommendations are spot-on. Italian staff, with a (presumably) understanding of the atmosphere and food culture, complete the picture. Unfortunately, the benches were a bit worn.

The pizza, lasagna, and spaghetti were freshly cooked and truly delicious. The service was friendly, prompt, and courteous. They don't close anymore; we were there on a Monday. I can really recommend it. I have to admit, though, that I wasn't expecting this!

Good food, friendly/good service, good prices. Very good value for money. As always, the service is child-friendly and friendly, and the wait time is very manageable. You can even get a pizza there on your way home in the evening, even if the other restaurants are already closed. The other day, we didn't have a card and didn't have enough cash, so we quickly popped over to the bank across the street (70 meters as the crow flies) to get some bills. No problem at all. Thank you!

Update 2025: We celebrated our granddaughter's first communion there today, everyone was just more than full, happy and completely satisfied! Very good food no matter what you try, great staff, reasonable prices! Reservation recommended

Unfortunately the pizza didn't taste very crispy and the cheese was quite tough; I expected something better for this price.

Worst restaurant experience ever in my entire life! We were on our way to Austria, stayed one night in Ulm and went here late in the evening to eat a quick pizza. The food was mediocre, the wine bad and the service below average. But then the real circus act had yet to begin: when we asked for the bill (59 euros), they only wanted to accept cash; any form of credit card was unknown. We didn't have enough cash with us - in Belgium they look at you as if you come from another planet if you don't pay with a card. We tried everything: payconiq, immediate transfert, it was apparently also not possible to find a pin machine in the neighbourhood: "all banks are closed!". The owner himself was called and arrogantly told me to leave my identity card until I would show up with cash, which I of course refused: the plan was to continue our journey early the next day. He then ridiculously shouted at his staff to call the police, an order that was not followed; he clearly did not really have his troops under control. After some bickering back and forth, the matter was finally resolved by immediately transferring the amount to the personal account of a staff member who then transferred it to the account of the restaurant. Unless you want to experience an episode of Falwty Towers live, one piece of advice: pass this restaurant by!

My favorite pizza place. I like the pizza there the best. Personally, I don't think pasta is a big hit, but it's a matter of taste. The waiter is very nice, but occasionally stressed when there is something going on. I've known the boss since I was a child. I can recommend the restaurant 100%.

We ordered 2 large pizzas to go but we were shocked to see two small pizzas in the box. 😔 Added extra toppings on the pizza for which we were charges extra but there were no extra toppings. The Chef got the order wrong and we had to wait 15 min more to get the correct order. The taste was just OK.

The pizza is ok, so 2 points are deducted because the 🍕 is baked very dark and burnt on the outside edge.

After two years, I enjoyed pizza there twice again: it was as good as it was back then, and the prices didn't go through the roof either.

The three of us went to the pizzeria early on Sunday evening without making an appointment. We were assigned a spot in the beer garden. From the reservation signs we saw that a lot of people had registered for that evening. The absolutely friendly waiter also explained to us that he was alone. Nevertheless, everything went smoothly and quickly. The food (large pizza) was of average quality and filling. So I can't confirm the previous reputation of being above average. All in all, a well-deserved “GOOD”

We ordered 3 pizzas for lunch, a Funghi, an Anna Maria and a Speziale. All large. We got a small special, a calzone with meat and a normal ham pizza. So everything was wrong and after we called, everything was rejected and everything was fine! Not recommended!

La pizza ovviamente non è Italiana, ma è la stessa che si trova nei kebab. Molto salata. Le patatine fredde e senza sale. Insomma è il tipico ristorante che di Italiano ha solo il nome e 200 piatti che portano nomi italiani e stop! Non lo consiglio

I went to this place for the second time with my wife. The food was ok, but our experience was not good. The old waiter guy is very rude, made us uncomfortable with his facial expressions and was in a hurry to finish everything and send us off. We are not sure if he behaves in a similar fashion with everyone or it has anything to do with our racial ethnicity.

Ein wirklich nettes Restaurant. Die Lasagne ist der Hammer, auch die Pizzen können ruhigen Gewissens sehr gelobt werden. Der Chefe-Kellner ist ein herrliches Unikum, liebenswert freundlich, sehr bemüht und immer in Rufweite. Vielen Dank für den sehr gelungenen Abend bei euch, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Für mich eine der besten Pizzeria in Ulm. Sehr gut auch die nudelgerichte. Preislich kaum zu unterbieten. Keller und Chef immer freundlich und aufmerksam. Biergarten auch vorhanden, von außen eher unscheinbar, aber essen sehr gut. Kommen hier schon seit Jahren und die Qualität und Preise immer noch gleich gut.

Pizza war gut. Abholung zügig. Gastgeber sehr freundlich. Gerne wieder.

Wir sind häufig dort. Die Pizzen sind immer wieder ein Gedicht. Von wegen zu klein. Was nützt es wenn eine Steinofenpizza weit über den Tellerrand hinausragt ( schön für's Auge ) aber dafür knuspert wie ein Keks? Oder wie so oft der Rand hart und alles andere eher labbrig ist?......Auch die Salate sind bei Antonio sehr gut. Ein Punktabzug für die Pastagerichte. Der Stammkellner ist etwas speziell, aber nicht unfreundlich.

Antonio versteht sein Handwerk, wirklich alles was ich dort gegessen oder zum Mitnehmen bestellt hatte war sehr gut. Für mich die Nummer 1 in Ulm.

Wie immer sehr lecker. Der Salat Della Casa nur empfehlenswert und dazu ein Pizzabrot. mehr braucht es nicht um satt zu werden.

Diese pizza wurde mir als große 30 cm verkauft als ich nachgefragt habe sagte die Bedienung nur Chef sagt ist 30 cm und ist einfach weggelaufen wir wurden einfach stehen gelassen geschmacklich war sie ok aber von der Größe eine Lachnummer personal leider auch nicht freundlich

Das Essen ist wirklich top und die Preise sehr günstig. Das Ambiente ist super angenehm und das Personal superfreundlich. Ich werde immer wieder zum Essen kommen :)
