Great place for, good food good service 🥳

The atmosphere is truly retro. Serving meat cooked on stones at the table is nice, but when 50 people cook meat at the table at the same time, we get incredibly smokey. Ventilation is poor.

Had a great meal on our last night at the ring, surreal atmosphere with all the motor sport memorabilia and history all over walls. Rocked up with no reservation and the boss organised a table for us. The vibe was buzzing with everyone there after TF, Porsche's lining the streets outside. Crazy Italian service and the steak on the hot stone was worth it. Ample parking down the road by the fire station.

Really good food. Very tender salmon and delicious pitza. The house was quite full but the service kept everything running [respect]. Pre-ordering on race weekends is recommended.

Were there again after the DTM race. Had a really good steak and the staff are all super friendly. 😀

Food and ambience very good. Service (waiter, Croatian origin) extremely unfriendly. Individual payments for groups are too complicated for him. Apparently afraid of not getting enough tips. That's why we "unfortunately" won't be going there anymore.

You can't miss having dinner at this place once you've finished on the track. The decoration is impressive since there is almost no free space on the wall without photos of pilots... It's like a museum 😎 I think it was the only place where we could have something decent for dinner, we ordered the meat on the stone and we got it right... Other pretty normal food. If you want to buy your red stickers with the letter N of the circuit, now is your time since next to the restaurant is the hotel where they are sold at the reception. Ahhhh and you can leave "your mark" by signing somewhere you can find on the walls 💪

The most delicious spaghetti carbonara ever. The price is also completely okay. Only the Lambruco didn't really suit my taste.

Der Kellner war total überfordert, er war unfreundlich, ungeduldig und hatte eindeutig keine Lust, uns zu bedienen. Wir konnten keine Fragen zu den Gerichten stellen und mussten die Getränke ohne Karte bestellen. Nach dem Essen mussten wir lange warten, wir mussten extra nach der Rechnung fragen, die er uns nur mit viel Stöhnen gab, Kartenzahlung war auch nicht erwünscht. Positiv war das gute, reichhaltige Esssen und die Dekoration im Saal, für die es sich lohnt, einige Minuten zu verwenden.

Disappointing experience despite a decent meal but with a very very unpleasant waiter from the moment we arrived until the time of payment. He ruined this moment which should have been magical like the rest of the day. It's a shame and this gentleman should change careers...

Legendary restaurant right on the Nordschleife. The menu is well filled with typical Italian dishes, if you like Italian you will always find something. Our personal highlight, however, is the steak served on the hot stone. The meat is of very high quality and tasted very good.

We really enjoyed our meal here. It was a very reasonable price and delicous. All of the motorsport memorabilia everywhere to look at was just the icing on the cake for us! After a long day of walking all day it was just what we needed. It's not fine dining, it's good, honest home cooking, I would call it. Very tasty and satisfying.

Really very tasty pizza. We haven't experienced anything like this in a long time; We wouldn't have expected it in Nürburg (tourist town). Fast, friendly staff even though the shop was packed after the NLS4 race! Absolutely recommended and definitely our go-to place if we are in the area again!

A place you have to stop to eat if you visit the Nurburgring, the meat is very tasty. Always full of people and a very healthy atmosphere.

ATTENTION RIP-OFF!! Despite the bad food, it was too much for us Offset. The noodles were way too cooked and there was almost no seasoning at all. The prices for this food are just too high. The worst waiter ever (with beard,skinny). When I asked if I an join another table where is only one person and that person agreed, he literally shoured on me "this is my side, when I say you can't - you can't ". After that I asked him politely to talk with me in a different manner. Guess what? He shouted on me even more... People were looking at him. And yea, I left.... It was just horrible...

The waiter was super impolite and did not allow us to take a seat, was shouting at us. Immediately decided to go to another place. Not a good service at all.

Bad service and unfriendly. Long waiting times for food and drinks, wrong food brought. If you pay separately, you will be overwhelmed, everyone has to do the calculations themselves, card payments are only possible from €25 onwards. Food ok. Not recommended.

A must for racing fans at the Nürburgring. Racing is lived and celebrated in the restaurant.

Mandatory stop for anyone visiting the Nurburgring for the first time, delicious food, attentive and friendly waiters, they even allowed us to sign the walls of the restaurant, excellent experience, I would return several times if possible. I recommend it to everyone!!!

Quaint pizzeria on the Nürburgring. We really enjoyed the pizzas and the owner was friendly. If there's an event at the Nürburgring, it's probably best to make a reservation as it was pretty busy there.

Beef steak was well done and tough as leather. Had to pay for the meal in full. Never again.

From the moment you walk in you don't know where to look. Motorsport memorabilia everywhere. Pictures of Famous racing drivers who have eaten there. The smell is fantastic. A must if you go the nurburgring

The signature 'hot stone steak' was good however the rest of the food was average. We went on a Saturday and the service was very poor. I had a prior reservation and it took quite some time to even be acknowledged by staff. It's extremely busy but does have a fairly good atmosphere.

Unfortunately, we cannot agree with most of the reviews. The service was more than marginal, friendly and attentive is something else. The quality of the food has more than deteriorated... dry bread carelessly slapped onto the table, salad with brown spots and edges, and the meat, which was not brought properly, was dry and inedible. Fried potatoes also half raw. It's actually a shame, but the atmosphere can't make things good and this is the second time we've experienced such a defeat, round three is out of the question for us. You should also check your bill carefully, as more is charged than was eaten and drunk. It's a shame actually, you can't expect more than a name.

Lack of friendliness for those behind the counter, lack of attention and desire to serve customers, the terrace employee wanted to charge us again for what we consumed. Pre-made and heated pizza. Bad, very bad.

Great atmosphere and a must visit in the local area, however the food was mainly alright. I got the hot stone filet steak, which was tasty, however as we were a larger group the sauces were only served between 9 of us and we ran out almost immediately. The side salad was tasty. Meat quality was good, the fries were okay. Service was fast and professional. Great experience overall.

What do you expect from a legendary establishment, amazing environment with amazing staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The food was stunning and reasonably priced. The drinks were strong and flowing very well! If you don't go to PK you haven't been to the ring!

Really delicious there So after four years of abstinence it was still delicious, but I felt like at the train station the appetizer was hardly on the table, just when I started eating the salad, the pizza for the main course arrived and we also observed this at other tables

Sehr enttäuschend, die Pizza verölt und durchweicht, geschmacklich lau, das Schweineschnitzel an sich ok gegrillt, aber mit Parmaschinken einer Scheibendicke von ca 1 mm belegt, die Bohnen roh, dafür die Kartoffeln zu Brei gekocht. Schade, war mal ein Kultlokal, jetzt Touristenfalle. Nie mehr wieder!

Be careful, trust the Tripadvisor reviews which are a scam on the bill, for me they added €12.50 extra, check your rating carefully!

Meh. A brilliant reputation, but struggling to live up to it. The service was slow and confused; and the food was ok. Returned 10/05/24. Still average, service even worse - now just rude.

I am coming here since 2009. Patrizio is great ! This place is the history of Nurburgring ! A must to visit restaurant. I suggest the salmon or the fillet . The salmon for me is absolutely the best dish of the list! Portions are huge. Price correct

The atmosphere can hardly be described in words, you have to experience it yourself. An absolute must for motorsport fans. The service is excellent and very friendly. Our little dog was also allowed into the restaurant. The food is very tasty and the portions are generous. The prices are also very moderate. All in all, the price/performance ratio is very good. We were here for the first time today but will definitely come back next time we visit the ring.

Food is really delicious. The staff is quite friendly, but everything has to be done in a hurry, so that's a shame.

This is just my experience. I could have guessed that the lasagna wouldn't be that good, but I didn't expect that there would be an abundance of cheese and toasted ham in the lasagne. I'm sorry to say this, but frozen lasagne is better. Service was good and ambience is lovely!

The place to go for motorsport fans ....so much history...so much on the menu to choose from.... Steak on the stone is great and a house speciality... However... in many ways their pasta dishes and salad are better.. and certainly good value. The pizza choice is also excellent...

We were a team of 11. No sooner had we arrived than within 5 minutes we had 3 waiters taking turns asking us what we wanted to drink. We were waiting for 3 people and had to repeat 3 times in a short space of time that they would be arriving soon. No sooner had the starters arrived than 10 minutes later the main courses were served, without giving us time to finish or even clear our plates... I had the Rumpsteak with mushroom sauce. They didn't ask me how i wanted it cooked, it arrived being very overcooked the color was dull (gray) and my sauce was diluted by the water from the meat, a sign of being frozen... fries were average. My boyfriend had a steak on the stone and it had an aftertaste, you could tell it was starting to turn. And finally they started to clear up the table while some were still eating, that’s unacceptable. At the rate they're serving and clearing, you can feel that they just want to push you out the door. This isn't a good restaurant, it's a money-making venture. I don't recommend it, avoid it, save your money. Ps: I do believe it was a great spot but 10 years ago.. Cheers.

Nice place where many people go to eat after a visit to the Nürburgring. Their specialty is steak on a hot stone, which you are served raw and you have to roast it yourself. I had the skewer and it worked that way too. But there are also pizzas, pastas and schnitzel dishes on the menu. It was quite busy but the staff was friendly and attentive. We were there with people from the neighborhood, maybe that makes a difference.

Ended up there through a recommendation and haven't regretted it. We sat nice and comfortably and ate wonderfully. We ordered the fillet skewer from the hot stone and were able to prepare the skewer ourselves at the table. It was very tasty and the staff and the boss were very friendly. We'd love to come back.

Went with friends who had never Been before Had the usual steak on the stone for most of the group Chip portions a lot smaller than what I remember And the other meal we had was swimming in sauce so the chips were soaked 3 different servers waiters and the usual waiter that’s been there for years barely cracked a smile Overall given the spend id give it a 4 out do 10 sadly Appeal the masses still for one time visitors Sad really

We were there on Car Friday. The service was just terrible The food was also absolutely greasy and the price/performance ratio wasn't right either. We ordered cordon bleu which was the size of the palm of our hand and after a long discussion the waiter/owner of the shop admitted that the cordon bleu was from Lidl and it wasn't his fault that it was so small!? Afterwards he simply brought the bill without asking if we wanted anything else. Actually, this restaurant didn't deserve a star. No more ……

Ambiance is nice. However, the air is very bad - it smells of smoke and grease! Unfortunately, the ambience cannot compensate for the poor service and poor food. At first glance the pizzas looked really tasty. They were OK, probably frozen dough. The Cordonblou I ordered was purchased and not even of high quality. After the meal we asked the waiter that the meat didn't justify the price of €18.50 - the "cordonblou" was thin and super small. He very quickly became rude and said while he was still at the table that it had just been bought from Aldi/Lidl. Unfortunately, that's what it looked and tasted like. That's an absolute nonsense to say that in front of paying guests. After a lot of back and forth it was offered that we didn't have to pay for the Cordonblou, when we said we had it twice, we both had to pay in full! The absolute biggest hit, however, was that people from our group joined us a little later and our table was simply taken away, like the motto get out of here, to put it nicely. Half of the table hadn't even ordered anything to drink at that point. Unfortunately I have to say that this was my first and last visit to this restaurant despite recommendations from friends!!! A pity

As always, very clean and tidy. Only recommended. When I'm at the Ring, I only stay here overnight.

My visit tonight was for nothing else but “nostalgia” I visited a number of times 12/14 years ago with my son. This was my first visit since 2014, alone and it brought back a lot of memories of the good times we spent there, in a word “emotional” !.

So I can't quite understand all the positive reviews... The pizza was "OK" and the house specialty we ordered (rump steak from the hot stone) wasn't "special" at all, it was just a piece of meat served with 3 sauces, the kind everyone has in the fridge, on a hot stone. What I can rate very highly, however, is the service, super friendly and committed.

The Pizzeria Pistenklause is simply fantastic! The atmosphere is perfect for motorsport fans like me. The ambience is unique and the attention to detail is reflected in every aspect. The pizzas are delicious and the service is outstanding. An absolute must for anyone who loves good food and motorsport!

The food is ok but it is usually overbooked and the staff will hover over you to let you know they’re ready for you to leave, which spoils the experience.

Tolles, Uriges Restaurant mit geschichtsträchtigem Nürburgring-Hintergrund. Hunderte handsignierte Bilder bekannter Rennfahrer zieren die Wände und lassen nur erahnen welche Helden hier in früheren Tagen ein und ausgegangen sein mussten. Das Essen ist lecker, und die Bedienungen waren ebenfalls sehr sehr freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Культовое место совсем рядом с Нюрбургрингом. Если вы заедете на Ринг, обязательно загляните в кафе Pistenklause, это в паре минут от въезда на трассу. И конечно, здесь обязательно нужно попробовать фирменный стейк - аргентинская говядина на раскаленном вулканическом камне. Вы сами выбираете степень прожарки, единственный совет который я дам - не забудьте убрать или хотя бы перевернуть мясо, чтоб не получить пережаренный кусок. Это кафе и Hotel am Tiergarten принадлежат семье Сабины Шмитц, знаменитой гонщицы, королевы Ринга. И атмосфера здесь соответствующая. Вечером, после окончания сессии здесь собираются гонщики, обсуждают заезды, машины, еду и пиво. И всё в дыму от мяса на камнях

Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut,der Service sehr herzlich . Das Ambiente ist einzigartig,die Wände sind voll von Geschichte und Geschichten rund um die Nordschleife und Motorsport im Allgemeinen. Reservieren würde Ich sehr anraten, denn es kann schon sehr voll werden gerade am Wochenende.Und leider ist das Parken abenteuerlich aber dafür kann niemand etwas. Alles im Allem wer Motorsport liebt und gutes Essen mag ist hier gut Aufgehoben.

Ist halt einfach ein MUST HAVE am Nürburgring. Die Traditionskneipe schlechthin. Brauchst einen Tisch? Der Chef hat immer eine Lösung.

Ob beim 24h-Rennen nur mal an der Theke oder draußen an der Biergarnitur oder wie heute mit über 30 Mann essen, Alles passt und die Preise sind auch zivil. Kann man nicht moppern!

Ein Besuch der Pistenklause ist sehr empfehlenswert. Das Ambiente ist super und passt perfekt zum Nürburgring. Die Preise sind für die Region günstig und die Speisen sind top. Das Personal ist stets freundlich und auch bei vollem Haus aufmerksam. Eine Reservierung ist unbedingt zu empfehlen.

We love this place, and we visit it once per year with a big group of friends when we go to the Nuerburgring. The place is filled with racing memorabilia which create an incredible atmosphere. It is usually very crowded but the service is very fast and efficient with young waiters which are very kind, non-German language capabilities are varied but menu is german/english so you will succeed in having you order delivered. The food is very good, especially meat, prices aren't cheap (30eur for a fillet). Given the recent trend of craft beer it would be nice to have a more varied selection of local beers.

We made a reservation and the people serving seemed shocked. As per usual (4th visit in years) it was rammed. Tables so close you can barely move or eat. Service was okay but some of the waiters aren’t happy. The food was steak on the stone so cooked ourself and was enjoyable but pricey. Think this will be the last year we come here.

I ate here as part of a full-day tour of the Ring hosted by RSR Nurburgring. I didn't expect much going in, but the food was excellent and the interior was decorated with motorsports memorabilia, including a memorial to Sabine Schmitz.

7 British friends on our yearly trip booked the restaurant during the day for that evening and all of us had the fillet steak that was a delight to eat and really great friendly staff and all of us had a great time and would fully recommend. we have been there many times and I would say this one was the best as the service was really good and would highly recommend.
