Bitburger Gasthaus - Nürburgring in Nürburg

Looks nice. But you can pick up your food yourself and if you ask the waiter for a bag of sauce you can walk yourself. Crazy expensive and the food doesn't taste like anything. Not recommended!

The food was very mediocre, the toilet was out of order and it was impossible to pay by card for amounts below 10 euros.

Price performance doesn't fit at all! Cheese spaetzle would have fit on a cake plate. Ridiculous for almost 15 euros. Kinderschnitzel was bone dry. Completely overpriced for the fact that you pick up your food yourself like in the canteen and clear it away…

I liked it. Very good schnitzel with pepper sauce. Also Kaiserschmarn mit Zwetschgen (plums) was top. It is clear that you get here kind of German fast food but quality, taste and ambience were top.

Great place to get a curryworst or schnitzel before going to the track. Good value and really tasty food.

Extremely expensive even for the Nordschleife. Just a small 0.2 cola that costs an incredible amount. Self service and the food is also average

We come back every year. As in previous years, the schnitzels were really good. The daily special was also a 10 out of 10. Really good from the staff to the food. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable.

Great place in the shadow of the roaring cars driving along the Nürburgring, with German classics such as currywurst with fries, schnitzel on a sandwich and apple strudel. Lots of bikers.

Salad is crazy, 11€ for salad and 6€ for 5 small pieces of meat

what was that please? We called in advance to reserve a table and were told on the phone a pitiful “yes, we can do it”. Arrived, the place still had at least 5 tables free? The football game backdrop was over-controlled and way too loud for people who just wanted to eat something. Self-service concept is quite good, but what's the point if the waiters just stand around stupidly? Salad was served without any dressing, after the salad was called back it took a whole 10 minutes until the waitress was able to simply put some balsamic dressing on the salad 😂 The short walk to the Italian restaurant couldn't have been more conspicuous; there was probably no balsamic vinegar left in the house? The empty plates were also just left on the tables, just a complete fever dream in this inn. never again :)

Lukewarm currywurst, fries not quite cooked through, even though I was the only guest. And to all guests from abroad: welcome to Germany, card payments only possible from 10 euros (or should I write 'at least' here...?). Addition: What are sprouts doing on currywurst and fries?? (see photo)

After a beautiful day at the Nürburgring, we wanted to end it with a cozy meal. The atmosphere was quite cozy and the simple menu promised solid food. Unfortunately, our expectations were greatly disappointed. The employees seemed annoyed and bored. A service staff looked constantly through the dining room, which significantly spoiled the first impression. Nevertheless, we hoped for at least a good meal. The soup we ordered was sublime – every packet soup is tastier. Due to the strong acidity, it was simply inedible. The goulash was lukewarm, relatively tasteless and the dumplings had the consistency of dry semolina porridge. Conclusion: We won't be coming here again in the future. Every star is one too many!

It couldn't get any worse... The food is inedible... Potato soup out of a bag and probably not even prepared properly... Price for the goulash just under 20 euros with 2 overcooked dumplings and a tablespoon of goulash a disgrace. You feel a bit like you're being watched by guards in prison... Once and never again...I can't recommend it!!!!!! SB concept itself is okay... Employees who just stand around and get paid for it can then be saved.

The currywurst tastes disgusting

Oh dear…. This restaurant is the beginning of the end for German restaurants. Here the fast food model is applied to good German cuisine, which has resulted in disaster. The snippy waitress, obviously annoyed because we stopped her from chatting with her colleague, not only had an unfriendly tone but also had the audacity to ask us, two adult men (mid-20s), for proof of age because we had each ordered a wheat . After placing our order, we were given a beeper that shortly informed us that our food was ready to be picked up. However, the short waiting time was also enjoyable. A quickly warmed frozen schnitzel with outdoor pool fries and a pitifully small portion of mayo. While we ate we were able to watch the waitresses as they continued their intensive chat. A restaurant that claims to offer good German cuisine but where the staff gossip while the customer has to fetch and clear away their own food is, in my opinion, a disgrace to all of our beautiful traditional restaurants and breweries with quality food and service . The high prices due to the proximity to the racetrack would be justifiable if the food and service were good, but not as they are. There are still plus points for the ambience: open, bright, friendly, modern, lovingly designed details -even if the music unfortunately reminded me of McDonald's. All in all, it's a shame that Bitburger is wasting so much potential in such a beautiful location. Unfortunately not recommended!!!

As already posted elsewhere, something has clearly happened since the name and owner change, unfortunately in the wrong direction. While I used to enjoy having dinner there every year, I think it was the last time this year. I've never eaten such a dry schnitzel anywhere before, and the thickness beats everything, unfortunately even in the wrong direction. It's a shame, because the ambience is okay, you can sit there, watch the cars and, if the food is good, enjoy it. Addition May 2024: The "Schnitzel" now clearly deserves the title "shoe sole", you don't learn anything new, but the prices are constantly rising.

Were there yesterday with a group of 10 people. Most had schnitzel and one had a meatloaf roll. I haven't eaten something so bad in a long time!

Pleasant and pleasant service but unfortunately lousy food. Ordered beef roulade which was as dry as breadcrumbs and fries which were not cooked well enough, - tasted like raw potatoes

Far too expensive for the food on offer. Pretty salty snack bar quality.

Better go to the chip shop nearby!

The 15 euros charged for the cheese spaetzle are a joke. The portion is tiny! With self-service and rather average taste, the price is really questionable...

After our wedding in Adenau we (pre-)ordered a “coffee and cake” buffet at the Bitburger Gasthaus. The selection was large with various cakes, tarts, sandwiches and coffee/tea. When we arrived the buffet was already set up and the seating was prepared. Great service and very good food. Thank you for your special contribution to our day. Clear recommendation for buffets as well as eating the regular menu.

The food was very delicious and comes in quite a quantity. Coca-Cola 400ml. The price is quite good for where it is located.

The potato soup is a bit sour and I’m not used to it. The currywurst bread was delicious at first, but became more and more boring. After all, heavy flavors tend to be salty. Another pork chop with fries was not bad 👌 The staff is very friendly

One star for the nice ambience and one star for the location. When we visited the restaurant with friends in anticipation, we were very disappointed. The ambience was nice. The staff at self service was normally friendly. However, at such prices I expect better service than my own. The food was subpar. Everything is just frozen food and packets of food at a horrendous price. Even my garbage-swallowing friend didn't want to eat the declared cheese spaetzle. I have no idea how a 4.0 star rating comes about. Absolutely no recommendation. The location and the ambience can never, ever beat that. For me it's a total tourist rip-off!

Ate there last Saturday. The food tasted good and the service was very friendly and helpful. Definitely coming back again!

Schönes Ambiente und sehr freundliches Personal. Hochstühle für Kinder gab es auch. Wir hatten Currywurst mit Pommes. Das Essen war zwar lecker, leider war die Wurst kalt. Es war ein Riesenansturm, vielleicht deswegen?! Wir werden trotzdem wieder kommen ;)

Direkt am Nürburgring, schöner Platz um kurz die Reserven aufzufüllen und die ganzen Autos/ Bikes anzusehen, die dort gern mal auf und ab flanieren...

Nix besonderes. Schnitzel sehr dünn. Geschmacklich fade. Käsespätzle sehr wenig.

Einrichtung und Aussenterrasse sind im Brauhausstil gemütlich eingerichtet. Personal (SB) war super freundlich. Essen war leider zwischen naja und ungenießbar. Ich hatte das Schnitzel mit Pommes, die sichere Wahl. TK Schnitzel super fabrikdünn mit meiner Meinung nach zu dicker Panade auf Raststättenniveau ok, Pommes kann man nicht viel falsch machen, preislich für die Qualität unfair. Meine Frau hatte die Käsespätzle vermeintlich aus Tüte und Tetrapack. Optisch gutaussehend, geschmacklich grenzwertig und darüber hinaus. Halbrohe glibbrige Teigballen mit fieser Sosse und ein bisschen Dekogrün. Wir waren vor Rock am Ring vor Ort und sind wirklich Kummer gewohnt, aber das kann man heute auch im Conveniece Bereich deutlich besser hexen. Schade.

Die Schnitzel waren trocken und geschmacklich schlecht. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis muss überdacht werden. Nur gut um was zu trinken!

Preis Leistung mangelhaft. Kein service, wenig essen, viel Geld. Ich bestell mir beim nächsten mal lieber ne pizza bei Pinocchio.

Mega Gasthaus direkt am Nürburgring. Das ungewöhnlichste ist, das es hier Selbstbedienung gibt wie in einer Mensa z.B. was wir persönlich aber sehr gut fanden. Das Lokal ist herrlich hergerichtet und weist viel Liebe zum Detail auf. Liebevoll dekoriert mit Historischen Bildern und mit Live Übertragungen von Motorsport. Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt, Portionen und Preise sind in Ordnung. Kartenzahlung möglich!!

Salat war gut, jedoch mit einer Butterbrezel serviert. Es wurde nicht nachgefragt ob man eine Butterbrezel will oder lieber eine normale.

Hatte heute die Käsespätzle für 11,00 € ! Die Portion war dafür recht klein, Käse und Schnittlauch nicht vorhanden. Möchte keine schlechte Bewertung geben, Bitte einmal den Preis oder Qualität/Quantität kontrollieren. VG

Wir waren beim 12 Stunden Rennen. Klar, das wir hier mal reinschauen. Die Currywurst war sehr lecker. Das System was hier vollzogen wird, finde ich einfach super. Man bestellt und holt sich seine Sachen selber. Finde ich einfach nur top

For what it and where it is there was nothing wrong with food or service. THINK wetherspoons without the allday breakfast or the less expensive menu items.

Essen war nichts besonderes. Location ist toll gemacht.

Preise und Portionen sind Top. Essen war sehr lecker. Service gibt es ja so zusagen nicht. Ist ein SB Lokal (wie bei McDonalds). Also einziger Service steht hinterm Tresen und nimmt die Bestellung auf Ambiente ist Toll. Man könnte mehr aus dem Lokal machen.

Obwohl ab 20.00 geschlossen gewährte man uns noch Einlass nach 20.00 auf ein schnelles Getränk.

Sehr nettes Ambiente und ein sehr guter Latte Macchiato. Das Personal war sehr nett und auch die Gaststätte ist gepflegt und authentisch.

Leckeres Essen, Preise sind ok. Teilweise etwas lange Wartezeiten bei der Essensbestellung, jedenfalls beim 24h Rennen. Nach der Bestellung erhält man einen Pager, der sich meldet, wenn das Essen fertig ist, damit man es abholen kann. Geschirr wird vom sehr netten Service abgeräumt. Ein großer Monitor draußen wäre schön, damit man z.B. das Geschehen auf der Rennstrecke im Blick hat, auch wenn man draußen sitzt. 🙂 Wir haben nur draußen gesessen und ich fand es dort sehr gemütlich.
