Tried Georgian food for the first time with four friends. I've never had such delicious food. Excellent service and attentiveness from the waiter. Of course, it's relatively upscale and therefore not cheap, but it's definitely worth a visit!

Absolutely recommended! We ate here with clients after a long day at the trade fair – and it was excellent. The food was not only authentic and freshly prepared, but also a real experience. Everyone especially loved the khachapuri and khinkali. The service was excellent: friendly, attentive, and very professional. Our guests from abroad were also impressed – a true piece of Georgian hospitality in the heart of Germany. Thank you for this thoroughly enjoyable evening – we'd love to come back!

Despite having a reservation in the restaurant, the restaurant manager put us on the wet and cold terrace after a thunderstorm in a very unfriendly manner. We already mentioned our long journey and the special reason for the visit when we made the reservation. This experience is absolutely unacceptable. Extremely unprofessional behavior.

We ate here today and it was the worst experience I've had in years. Cola was served warm and you had to ask 3 times before you got ice after 15 minutes, although there was no more carbonation left. Crepes with the meat couldn't be made worse. Khinkali were oversalted, sour and almost devoid of spices. No sauce was brought either. We had to wait 20 minutes for the bill, and I spoke to 3 waiters. It should also be said that I often cook Georgian dishes myself and have often visited Georgian restaurants.

We were there in a larger group and the service was very quick. For starters we got this bread with cheese and egg, which was really delicious. For the main course I had the meatballs in the broth and they were very tasty. 1 star deduction because NO girocard or credit cards are accepted. Unfortunately, in this day and age and at these prices, this is an absurdity.

If you park in the parking lot of the shopping center (where the restaurant is located), then 5 hours of parking are free (ask the waiters).

Delicious and authentic Georgian cuisine served in a very classy restaurant with beautiful decor and lots of natural light. The prices are high, but so is the quality. There's also a great selection of Georgian wines.

I am very grateful to everyone who works in this restaurant, I really liked the atmosphere and the food. I visited this restaurant and actually understood that it is the best Georgian cuisine in the world, before that I was in several restaurants in Ukraine, in Poland, and in Germany itself, with full confidence and without any extra thoughts I can say that Pirosmani is the best!!! From the first steps you are immersed in an atmosphere of comfort: a warm welcome, live music, the aroma of khachapuri and spices, which immediately arouses your appetite. The food is beyond praise. Khinkali is juicy and filling, with thin dough and aromatic filling. Khachapuri in Adjarian style is a gastronomic delight! The meat on the grill is tender, perfectly fried, with a rich taste. And homemade wine is a separate story: soft, rich, with subtle fruity notes. The staff is pure gold. Smiling, attentive, always ready to prompt and advise the best. It is clear that people work with their souls. Thanks to Pirosmani for the emotions, taste and atmosphere. This is a place where you want to return again and again. I recommend it with all my heart!

I have to admit, quite honestly and openly, that I have had virtually no contact with Georgian cuisine so far, but this restaurant really impressed me because both in terms of taste and atmosphere, I can only warmly recommend it - it was an all-round successful evening.

Was recently at Pirosmani and really impressed. The restaurant offers authentic Georgian dishes prepared with fresh ingredients. I particularly enjoyed the Badrijani Nigvzit (eggplant with walnut filling). The atmosphere is cozy and the staff was friendly and attentive. Price-performance ratio also fits. If you like Georgian cuisine or would like to try it, this is the right place for you.

A wonderful restaurant for every occasion! We love coming here again and again – whether for a cozy dinner or a special occasion. I was in town for a weekend recently and ate here in the evening. It was really delicious and the service was extremely friendly. I wish I could go here regularly. If I lived here I would come every weekend.

We visited Pirosmani for the first time today, and we were absolutely thrilled! We had the mixed appetizer platter, the egg pudding, and goulash with both pork and lamb. Everything was so incredibly delicious, especially the mixed appetizer platter, which I think is a must-try if you're going there for the first time. The ambiance is absolutely beautiful, and the service is incredibly friendly and attentive.

Delicious food and very good service

The menu offers a variety of traditional Georgian dishes and I loved the selection. I chose the Khachapuri, which was to die for - the cheese was perfectly melted and the bread was fresh and crispy. The khinkali, the filled dumplings, were also an absolute highlight. They were juicy and full of flavor, just as I hoped. The service was also excellent. The staff were attentive, friendly and always had a smile on their faces. They helped me choose dishes and even made some recommendations that I really wanted to try. To finish I treated myself to a slice of traditional Georgian cake and it was the perfect end to a wonderful meal. I highly recommend Pirosmani if ​​you are looking for authentic Georgian cuisine. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

What truly made our experience unforgettable was our waiter, David. From the very beginning, his kindness and professionalism made us feel so welcome. He guided us through the menu with great care, recommending the most delicious dishes and explaining them in a way that made us appreciate every bite even more. His passion for what he does was evident, and it made the entire evening even more enjoyable. And then there was the tea… Without a doubt, the best I have ever had! Every sip was pure comfort, the perfect finishing touch to an already perfect dinner. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations—the food, the service, the ambiance. It was one of those rare dining experiences that stay with you. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant 100% and can’t wait to return!

The concerts on weekend nights were lively and impressive

Table reservation cancelled!Reservation made on 02/20/25 for 03/08/2025. I called to confirm the reservation and was told that our table was cancelled! The lady on the phone was extremely rude. Since I have already invited guests and it is now impossible to find an alternative at another restaurant on March 8th at 3 p.m., I will definitely take further steps.

We've been to this restaurant several times. The food is very tasty. The presentation too. Beautiful snow-white tablecloths. Nice staff. Good, quiet music that allows you to talk. But the waiters try to clear the dishes when you haven't finished eating yet. This is weird. And they don’t control when the glasses are empty and need to be replenished with wine. I would also recommend gluing felt discs to the legs of tables and chairs. When it is necessary to move or move tables apart, the creaking is very loud. Last time we moved it twice for about 10 minutes. Despite the shortcomings, we will be happy to come again and again.

We ordered a table for 8 people 3 weeks ago and a week before the event they refused us with the comment that “they have a table for 13 people before us.” Unprofessional as usual. I don’t advise you to celebrate holidays and invite guests, otherwise you risk having a problem like we did.

Unfortunately disappointing. First we were sent rather rudely to the cloakroom. The staff could have been a little friendlier. Before we could even order the food, we each had to shell out 10 euros in cash for the music. Then a side dish was brought to me and the food wasn't served until 40 minutes later. The shish kebab was tough and didn't taste good at all. Probably not marinated at all. We were able to enjoy the music for about 1 hour, because after 2.5 hours we had to clear the table. The highlight: no card payment possible! Conclusion: Overpriced, poor service despite a good ambience. I will NEVER go to this restaurant AGAIN.

No card payment possible, only CASH is a clear no-go these days. The chicken itself was OK, but it tasted very old and, like the other dishes, it was only served lukewarm. The chicken was definitely not freshly prepared but only warmed up half-heartedly. Given the temperature, I would assume that the other dishes were just warmed up quickly. I don't have to go to a restaurant for this. Rice, bread and potatoes were probably freshly made. The spinach actually only tasted like garlic. Is this how they eat it in Georgia? In any case, it was almost not edible - and I actually really like eating garlic. The food was very heavy on everyone's stomachs. Of course, this could also be due to the fact that unfamiliar spices may have been used. However, it seems more obvious to me that the main courses served were simply a bit older. The staff is very accommodating and nice. Besides, the ambience is nice. Hence 2 stars instead of just 1.

The restaurant has nothing to do with Georgian friendliness. Despite booking and confirmation, a cancellation comes weeks later - without any explanation. The third parties are to blame... Which unfortunately doesn't help me at all. Instead of making a counter-proposal and dealing with the problem in a Georgian way, when we spoke on the phone they simply hung up on us in a very Russian way. Irresponsible and shameless!

We came with a group of 13 people and were rudely told by the service when we sat down at the table that we were not allowed to take our jackets to the table. After we had selected a large number of dishes as a large group, we were informed that payment could only be made in cash and that no card payment was accepted. There was an ATM around the corner where we could withdraw money. Absolutely out of date and leaves a very bad aftertaste. The service was not attentive, starter plates were only cleared when main courses had already been served and communication was very poor. Good food, otherwise unfortunately not recommended and in no way appropriate for the very high price level

Die Musik war unglaublich laut und geschmacklos mit ohrenbetäubenden Gesang. Essen war reichlich und gut, aber nicht vollständig serviert, in Menu stand „ mit getrockneter Berberitze, Zwiebeln, Ofenkartoffeln“ in der Realität war kein Spur von dem, bloß mit den gehackten roten Zwibeln. Der georgische Wein war OK, aber praktisch ohne Alkohol drin und ziemlich überteuert. Die Bedienung muss man gut im Saal selbst finden damit eine Bestellung zu machen. Die weiblichen Gäste tänzeln sehr komisch als ob ein pace maker bei ihnen eingenäht wurde, auf sehr engen Platz zwischen sehr eng beieinander liegenden Tischen. Und die Männergesellschaft beobachtete schweigend und mürrisch diese weiblichen heidnische Geste und trank ununterbrochen Absolut-Wodka. Im ganzen und großen war es eine nostalgische Reise in die 80-er mit Larm und Pfeffer.

Внешний интерьер - 5. Но не кладите приборы заранее. В этом минус. Еда. Это полный бред. Одному прохладное вино, второму будто разогретое в микроволновке. Я было даже подумал, что это глитвейн. Хачапури. Сыр уже был прохладный, из-за чего ни яйцо, ни масло не могли нормально размешаться. Ощущение, будто пицца из доставки. Шашлык. Первый раз в жизни ел вареный шашлык. Мясо серое, вареное. Это ужас. Такого не должно быть. Хинкали. Лепили абы как. Разваливаются при первой же попытке попробовать. Нарушена структура теста. Толи вытягивали вместо складывания, толи что-то с хранением. Сервис. Это жесть. Орущий владелец как охранник на заключенных. Забитые ребята официанты, которые или боятся пошевелится, или ходят злые. Ожидание - вечность. После вполне резонного вопроса "Мой шашлык уже прилетел из Грузии?" - получил предложение подождать ещё пару минут. Как итог - 10. И отговорки в стиле "у нас завтра банкет - кухня не справляется". Что?! Так зачем Вы тогда открываете ресторан сегодня? Готовьтесь к завтрашнему банкету, и не приглашайте гостей! Мне абсолютно все равно на Ваш банкет завтра, если я пришел сегодня!!!! Просьба дать сметану к хинкали - "а у нас все едят с соусами". Благо со второго раза другой официант смог понять и принести. Ладно. Но зачем меня хлопать по плечу? Я брат, родственник, друг или это традиция в заведении? Я не увидел, чтобы всех тогда хлопали? Что за бред?! Настроение официантов было такое, будто это не я к ним в гости пришел, посетить заведение, приятно провести вечер, а на госслужбу, где фыркают, и заняты своими "делами". К одним гостям нормальное отношение, к другим - "ну Вы сами сюда пришли". На вопрос хозяйки "всё ли нам понравилось", просто встал и ушел в туалет. Иначе бы испортил вечер и гостям, и супруге в день рождения, и сотрудникам. 1 грузинский ресторан из более 25 мест и в разных странах мира, включая Грузию, который слабо отдаленно напоминает грузинское гостеприимство, вкус и эмоции. Итог: Интерьер: 4.8/5 Атмосфера: 3/5 (ну хоть футбол посмотрел, а что ещё делать, когда ждёшь шашлык час с доставкой из Грузии) Сервис: 1/5 Еда: 1/5

Update January 2025: For the second time "Pirosmani" is trying to take down my review, claiming I wasn't there. As you may notice, there are only a couple of negative reviews left, the rest they have taken down. The word of advice to them: instead of spending your money on lawyers, hire a proper Georgian cook to make your dishes better. 1) Spreading butter on Imerul khachapuri. 2) When I asked about Chkmeruli, "Is it on Kets?" They asked me what is wrong with Ketsi. They brought boiled chicken covered in garlic sauce. 3) The waiter does not know how to listen: "я не слишила, что вы заказали купати". Well, in Russian, because he doesn't know Georgian. 4) The singer sings and speaks only in Russian. Ha-ha and one Italian song followed, from the time of the Soviet Union. In short, it is a Russian restaurant with supposedly Georgian dishes and Soviet service. Avoid at all costs. I'm too lazy to translate all this to English, so to summarize: expensive place with quasi-Georgian dishes, Russian speaking staff and Russian music and Soviet-era service. Avoid at all costs.

This is a magical place, the staff surprised me with high service. Everything was homely and cozy. I really liked the musical part especially. The fun and mood of the staff together with the visitors. I definitely recommend it. Napoleon won my heart, and this wine transported me to Georgia for some time. Khinkali is an art. Very tasty. Next time I will definitely try other dishes. It's worth coming back here. It's a pity that I live in another country.

Essen super. Jedoch Service mal so mal so. Am schlimmsten aber, dass meine Fakten basierte Bewerung mit 2 Sternen auf Google entfernt wurde weil sie nicht positiv war. Auch wurden scheinbar weitere negative Bewerungen entfernt und jede Menge positive 5 Sterne Bewertungen sind ziemlich verdächtig…

We decided to check out this restaurant with high hopes of trying authentic Georgian cuisine. The food was more or less okay, but our experience was completely ruined by several disappointments. Upon entering, we were informed of a live music event for an additional 10 euros per person. Excited about the chance to enjoy live Georgian music, we were disgusted when the performer belted out some trashy russian tunes accompanied by prerecorded tracks. The volume was cranked up to an unbearable level, making conversation impossible. Honestly, I would have gladly paid extra just to make this so-called "live music" stop. On top of that, the place only accepts cash, which is incredibly inconvenient in this day and age. Don't be fooled by the high rating of this restaurant. If you take a closer look, about 90% of the 5-star reviews come from bot accounts with a single review. The owner even tried to remove my honest feedback, but failed, which is just further proof that they are not interested in real opinions – only in fake, purchased reviews.

Unfortunately, Pirosmani wasn't able to convince us. Unfortunately, the food was a bit bland and only lukewarm, so we had to go back and warm it up again. We were shocked by the drinks prices, which were at strip club level (€5 for 0.2l of cola or €7.5 for a 0.5l of wheat).

I was searching for Georgian cuisine in Frankfurt and found this amazing place. As soon as I entered the restaurant, I felt like I had stepped into Georgia. Every detail was a reflection of Georgian culture. Thank you for making me feel this way—not only through the delicious meals but also with the incredible atmosphere. If you want to experience Caucasian culture and cuisine, you must visit this restaurant. The entrance felt like a little museum, with a display recreating a scene from the life of Pirosmani, the famous Georgian painter, which was absolutely stunning. In one corner, I spotted traditional Georgian folklore plates, adding even more charm. This was an unforgettable experience for me—not just for the food, but for the feeling it created.

Pros: -Zentral gelegen am Zoo FFM -Sauberer Räumlichkeiten inkl. Toilette Cons: -Trotz rechtzeitiger telefonischer Reservierung musste man vor Ort um einen Tisch kämpfen -Der Raum ist überfüllt mit Tischen -Feeling gleicht eher einer Grosskantine und keinem gemütlichen Restaurant -Musik kostete extra und zwar 10€ pro Person, obwohl der Sänger Playback singt -Tanzen aufgrund des mit Tischen überfüllten Saals kaum möglich -Das Essen ist maßlos überteuert, Tasse Tee kommt mit Konfitüre und ist bei 10€. FAZIT: Wer also schnell sein Geld loswerden will und wem das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis egal ist, ab in dieses Restaurant. Wir waren dort 2 Mal gewesen und zwar einmal und nie wieder!

First time visiting this establishment. Very nice staff, we really enjoyed the food. Everything was at the highest level! We left the establishment for a couple of minutes, having previously warned, we did not finish half of the Adjarian-style khachapuri. During this time, the table was cleared, but the staff apologized and kindly brought a new dish without including it in the bill. We'll definitely be back!

Awful! We were there today and were really looking forward to Khinkali. Unfortunately, there was already the first disappointment, because there were no more there! At 7 p.m. there were no more there. You wait forever for your food and drinks and are easily forgotten! The shish kebab is undercooked! At these prices I find it simply outrageous. At the end came the best thing of all, a mouse just runs through the dining room. When we asked the waitress about it, she gave us an answer (in a very aggressive tone) that it was completely normal in every restaurant sometimes it's a mouse. Thank you very much, now we know where we will never appear again.

Unfortunately, our visit to this restaurant was anything but pleasant. As soon as we entered we were greeted by very unfriendly staff who made us feel unwelcome. The overall service was disappointing and the waitress showed no effort to improve the situation. The prices are extremely high for the quality and range of food. Neither the portion sizes nor the taste justify the cost. In addition, the waiting time not only for the food, but also for the empty dishes to be cleared away was far too long - an unreasonable expectation. The absolute low point, however, was that we saw a mouse next to our table. When we asked the waitress about it, she reacted in a cheeky and condescending manner and said that it was “normal”. Such a reaction is completely unacceptable and leaves a lasting bad impression.

It was my first time trying Georgian food (which I heard is very good). The food in the restaurant was kinda ok but not delicious also it was too pricey for what is has to offer. They charge you 2 EUR for bread, which I disagree since the food was very salty so you need the bread to be able to eat the meat. I went there and hope it was my first and last time. Probably someday in the future, I would go to another Georgian restaurant to give a try and enjoy the food. The service was better, the atmosphere is very nice but there was no toilet paper.

No cards are accepted - you can't actually get more than 1 point for that alone. Given the incredibly high prices, this is absurd. Very loud live music, which we were not informed about when we made the reservation and for which an additional €10 was charged. Nobody needs it. The food was ok, the portions were huge. Overall, not recommended, I'll definitely never go there again.

Interior is beautiful. Is very clean. Starter platter, khinkali and kartuli salad are my favorites. Everything tastes good. Highly recommended.

Especially disrespectful attitude towards customers! We called to reserve a table, the conversation over the phone was correct. When we arrived at the appointed time, the Russian-speaking lady said with particular disdain that they pay ONLY in cash and that it is written on the doors. And that the name given for which the table was reserved didn’t mean anything to her says. This situation ruined the evening!! All the establishments were already occupied and I was ashamed in front of my friends!!!!!!

I would have given it 0 stars. The worst welcome in a restaurant out of my 2000 reviews, no payment by debit or credit card possible. And the waitress/manager who says it’s written everywhere. In short, I do not recommend this restaurant! In response to your comment: I am not Ukrainian but French (see the description of my profile if you can read). I'm not sure that your condescending remark about the Ukrainian people is in your favor. Best regards

We booked a table for the evening, but no one warned us that you cannot pay by card in the restaurant. Because of this, we couldn't have dinner and the evening was ruined! And the restaurant staff is rude! We are from Georgia and we are very upset that our friends did not eat our Georgian food.

Hello the Pirosmani team, What you're doing there is really bad. Not possible to pay by card? Cash only? And reject us? So unfriendly at reception? Then you identified us as Ukrainians even though we aren't and still write comments like that to us? Are you serious? On Monday I will call the tax office and hang an audit on you. How can you even treat your guests like that? Racist is a nice way to put it. We had friends from Georgia with us. Guests, stay away from this restaurant and better go eat a schnitzel.

Disgusting attitude towards customers!

Everything was just great! Atmosphere perfect, the food was just great. Service top! Music simply fantastic! The owner was very nice.
