Super delicious! Decent portions and also very pleasing to the eye. We love it.

The food was very good. Good basic ingredients, and much of it homemade. The prices were also good for the quantity and quality. Service took a while because it was busy. Nevertheless, all the staff were very prompt and attentive.

The food was delicious, whether it was the curry, fried noodles, or fried rice. I was really impressed by the duck – really good quality, beautifully tender, and not greasy and chewy (as is unfortunately often the case with many other dishes).

We accidentally stopped here for lunch, the restaurant is tucked away but really worth it!!! We had great delicate curry and rice dish and one of the best pad Thais . Highly recommended!!!

Friendly and fair prices. Nice atmosphere with modern and traditional Thai decorations. Very well balanced Thai authentic dishes. Especially their Pad Thai. Simply excellent. Mango sticky rice being one of, if not the best in town. Great authentic Thai desserts. Finally, excellent service.

Don’t be fooled by allergen listing in the menus. The curry didn’t have gluten listed as an allergen yet came out in a wonton wrapper made of gluten. I was sick for days after this. I don’t know why restaurants bother to put in allergens if they don’t follow them.

Great food! We had two Guay Tiauw soups with beef and deep-fried pork belly with chili sauce – absolutely authentic, just like in Thailand. 🍜🥢 The Thai iced tea was also delicious. Excellent value for money! 👌 The service was friendly, all Thai, and the decor is super authentic. We'd love to come back – definitely recommend it! 🙏🇹🇭

Once you find the restaurant (it's somewhat hidden in a passageway), you'll want to go back again and again. It's absolutely delicious.

Everything was great. They had so many food choices we couldn't decide and chose several different dishes. It was great.

The food is truly amazing! However, the waitress understood the dish to have chicken instead of vegetables, because I don't eat chicken. As the only alternative (!!!!), she asked me to take the food as it was and have it cooked fresh. I still had to pay for the wrong dish. Will I be penalized for having it recorded incorrectly? Customer service is nonexistent.

The dishes are quite good and spicy, as advertised. The portions aren't overly generous, though. The iced green tea with lemon is excellent. The big drawback is the wait: 15 minutes for drinks, 50 for meals...

The food is very delicious. I recommend the Pla Lui Suan. It's the most delicious and full of flavor.

The food and service are good. But somehow I get the impression that in the past (1-2 years ago), the bowl for the tom yam was larger and had more content.

The waitress was very friendly and cheerful. When the weather is nice, you can sit outside, but the interior is a bit gloomy (due to the building's design). It's great that most dishes are available vegetarian. The Tom Kha was excellent: a nice balance of sweetness, acidity, and spiciness with what I consider the ideal creaminess, plus plenty of lemongrass and lime leaves. The Pad Kra Pao, on the other hand, was unusually seasoned. A tasty dish in itself, but not my favorite version. It would have been nice to chop the tofu into small pieces instead of large cubes. The red Thai iced tea was very sweet and otherwise lacking in flavor. Good value for money. All in all, it's worth a visit.

We've eaten here many times, and the food is always excellent. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. We go there every time we're in Darmstadt.

There were five of us and we paid a total of €140, including tip. Most of the dishes were very tasty, except for the rib appetizer, which was a bit too salty and the chicken skewers were a bit dry. The rest of the food was okay. The restaurant's flavor is rather sweet, which I really like! The fried rice noodles were sweet and really tasty—definitely recommended. The pork belly, however, wasn't quite to my taste; it reminded me more of Vietnamese food, but it was a bit too tough for me.

Never go without a reservation; they don't reserve tables for walk-ins, and tables are reserved long in advance. The food is, of course, good.

Not really originally Thai. Sometimes rice is too wet (too much water by rice cooking). Tables inside are placed in the dark with the risk of mosquito bites.

My favorite Thai restaurant. A diverse menu with delicious dishes. In summer, you can sit under the trees on the town church square, a green oasis in the city.

I have been here many times, grilled fish, rice noodles, tofu, fried chicken skewers... almost all the dishes are delicious! The most recommended are the thai rice and Thai milk tea 😋 The thai rice is very spicy but very fragrant!

I was really looking forward to the Mango Sticky Rice at Pinto Thai, but was sadly disappointed. After waiting about 20 minutes, I received a portion that absolutely didn't justify the €8 price tag. A few small mango cubes, a dollop of rice – that was it. The portion was tiny and seemed unloved. It tasted okay, but simply too little for the price. It's a real shame – I was expecting much more.

This is my favorite restaurant in Darmstadt. Visit there more than 5 times. The decor is pretty impressive, and the food is absolutely delicious. I always start with the fried tofu appetizer. It’s also one of the few places where you can enjoy a pretty special mango sticky rice. When ordering with Wolt, the dishes just not that good compare to eat there. That’s somehow disappointed.

This Thai restaurant is a bit hidden, but once you find it, it's worth it. The waiters are a bit overwhelmed when the whole restaurant is full, but very friendly. The food tastes great and the Thai iced tea also tasted very good. I still won't give it five stars because some things on the menu weren't available, such as: B the green tea iced tea, the shrimps and the lychee drink specially advertised on the tables.

Love everything there. If you want to have authentic Thai food, then come here. You won’t regret it!

Excellent Thai restaurant in the heart of Darmstadt The Pinto Thai Restaurant in Darmstadt absolutely convinced me. The atmosphere is cozy, the service is attentive and friendly. I was particularly thrilled that my request for wonton soup was accepted – and what a soup! Fresh, aromatic and simply fantastic. Also worth mentioning is the “jungle curry”. Simply delicious! Warning: ⚠️ It's spicy 🌶️ ⚠️ The remaining dishes were also excellent, with authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. If you like Thai food, you should definitely visit this restaurant. Clear recommendation!

The restaurant impresses with its ambience, starters, main courses and desserts and the drinks are an absolute highlight. We only had to wait a long time once - but I expect the staff to be understanding, in a packed restaurant a waiter can only work so quickly. The samples are reasonable, as are the prices and selection, and there is an outdoor and indoor area as well as children's chairs. We have eaten and ordered here for years and absolutely recommend the restaurant!

We found this restaurant while wandering around looking for a place to eat, and it turned out to be a surprisingly delicious Thai restaurant!! I usually love Thai food and always order Tom Yum soup when I go to a Thai restaurant, and the Tom Yum soup here was fantastic!! My first visit (a shame really) exceeded my expectations! As a starter there was chicken thighs with homemade dip - crispy, fresh and really good. For the main course I had fried rice noodles "spicy" (not Thai spicy though - luckily) with duck and also a delicious sauce. The food came fresh from the pan and was very attractively prepared - it also tasted very good. The Thai lemon tea was slightly sweet with a lovely lemon flavor. In other words: I would love to come back and explore more delicacies on the menu

I am a Thai myself and the food here is like in Thailand. The spices, spiciness is perfect. The atmosphere here is very nice and relaxing. The staff are very friendly. The food here tastes like in the country. Even better. I am very happy with everything.

The service is extremely friendly and attentive without being intrusive. A reservation is recommended for the evening as you won't have much luck getting a table. The entrance is a bit hidden, but the restaurant itself is cozy and tastefully decorated. Overall, a wonderful Thai restaurant that I can fully recommend.

Very tasty, authentic cuisine. I've also been told that the Thai drinks are very authentic. I was recommended the restaurant by a Thai person. Service is also good and friendly. Most dishes are also available in a vegetarian version with (more) vegetables or tofu. Overall a great selection. However, you should make a reservation. And at peak times it is very busy - although the kitchen manages this without any problems.

Attentive staff, fast service, delicious food and great iced tea. We came here by chance and found the somewhat hidden restaurant. Large portions and reasonable prices! Simply good! Gladly again!

One of the few Asian restaurants that not only offer local vegetables (carrots, peppers, onions, etc.) but also with Asian vegetables, as you would actually expect. The food tastes very good, the waitresses are polite and nice. Unfortunately, when it comes to furnishings, there are wobbly chairs and poor hygiene toilet facilities. Points are deducted. Conclusion: I would be happy to eat here again and know that some tradition is still alive. Update: unfortunately the portions have changed to the detriment of the guests, so unfortunately a point has been deducted.

The good reviews attracted me here and it was truly an experience. Eating like you were on vacation 👍🏻 We had soup as a starter and the Pad Thai with shrimp and once duck. Very, very tasty and perfectly seasoned dishes. The restaurant itself is very hidden on the town church square in the basement, which means no daylight, a very low ceiling and a manageable number of tables. But everything is very clean and has a certain charm when you arrive and are escorted to the table. We were served by an extremely friendly, young lady and were very satisfied overall. We'd love to come back!

In my opinion a good Thai in the city. It can take longer, but the wait has always been worth it. The staff is very accommodating and friendly.

We waited over an hour for our order. Not even the starters were served. Even the drinks took twenty minutes after ordering. At the end the restaurant was completely empty, all the guests had finished and left and we didn't even get the starters at that point. I'm patient, I really don't like to complain and I also really don't like giving out bad reviews. But I've really never experienced anything like that.

Most unfriendly service from a Thai Restaurant I’ve ever experienced in my life. Growing up in a city neighbouring Thailand, I’ve eaten a lots of Thai food since young. The food here is not very authentic, taste is okay, but flavour adjusted to local preferences. As a person who consider to be baby for spiciness in Asia, the 🌶️🌶️🌶️ here is not spicy at all for me. Thai national dishes - Thai Basil Pork Rice, was such a disappointment for me. It tastes like regular soy sauce pork rice, no Thai ascent no basil taste, nothing. The coconut milk in Tom Yum Gung is too heavy. And also too salty (even eating it with rice). Prawn also not fresh at all, it’s a frozen prawn. Thai green curry also just meh. 🫤 Fried rice was ok (according to my friend) but I find it too bland. However, Beverages were all good. Conclusion : I feel bad for people who rated this store for “The Best Thai food restaurant” they’ve tried. It’s not true. It’s a good restaurant with bad service, but not a good Thai food restaurant.

Never had Thai food so good in Germany. We've just come from Thailand and you'd think we'd still be there. Unlike many Thais, this tastes fantastic and very authentic. We recommend.

We spontaneously chose this restaurant and were thrilled. Great atmosphere, very comfortable, food incredibly good and plentiful. The food, which is shown on the menu without a level of spiciness, was actually not spicy - very good for my wife. We really enjoyed our stay and will be happy to come back when we are in the area again.

Small bistro-style Thai restaurant, hidden away with an inconspicuous entrance. Inside it is simply but comfortably furnished. Our food was very tasty and plentiful with good value for money. And be careful: where it says spicy, it means spicy - not softened to the average German taste!

Great ambience and food presentation. Food is heavier on the MSG side and I expected better seafood soup. Overall pleasant but food-wise, less value for money; probably being Asian have higher expectations for Asian food 😃

The service was sometimes a bit confusing, as different servers served us and we sometimes had to wait a little longer to be served. Friendly welcome, very authentic Thai food, friendly service and good prices. You just feel good there 👍🏻. Ok, the location on the basement floor isn't ideal, but the bright design means you don't feel like you're sitting in the basement. In addition, the friendly smiles of the service staff and very tasty food. The portions are large, everything is freshly prepared and very tasty. You'll enjoy going there!

Authentic and above all fresh Thai cuisine! We stopped here spontaneously last night. The restaurant is a bit hidden. We found the size of the restaurant to be very pleasant. Nice facility! We felt comfortable and will be back soon 🙂

The food was really tasty, everything else was a disaster. Staff very nice but completely overwhelmed, kitchen also completely overwhelmed, Lieferando drivers are piling up in front of the door. 30 minutes until we got something to drink. There were no cocktails because they were stressed. Another 60 minutes until we got our food. In the meantime, I watched as other guests left the store annoyed. Cutlery and crockery became scarce. A Lieferando driver was constantly traipsing through the entire store. I was completely satisfied when my Thai compatriots who came over an hour after us ate within 15 minutes and we still had no food. So customer service looks different.

Servicewüste Thailand!? Leider ist das Personal völlig überfordert. Die Gäste im Restaurant können nicht bedient werden, draußen stapeln sich die Lieferanten. Wir haben also bestellt und darauf hingewiesen, dass 1 Gast in 1.5h gehen muss. Ihr Essen kam als sie bereits weg war aber das war noch mehr als wir erwarten konnten. Nach 2h wurde uns gesagt, dass es heute kein Fisch gibt den wir vor 1.5h bestellt hatten. Kein Entgegenkommen, nichts. Ach Getränke nachbestellen unmöglich. Das Essen was kam war lecker. Sehr schade!!!!

Original Thai-Geschmack. Punkt. (vom Schärfegrad an Europa angepasst) Zusätzlich sehr freundlicher Service. Hoffentlich hindert der Standort in der “Nische“ nicht an einem langen Bestehen. Bombe! Update drei Jahre später: hat Bestand! Weiter Bombe.

Wir waren heute ganz zufällig hier essen. Das Restaurant ist etwas versteckt, aber offensichtlich kennen es sehr viele, denn circa eine Stunde nachdem wir uns hingesetzt hatten, war es komplett voll und jeder Tisch besetzt. Wir wurden vom Essen wirklich positiv überrascht. Es war unglaublich lecker und frisch. Trotz dass es wirklich voll war, war es überhaupt nicht laut und dadurch wirkte es Ambiente sehr angenehm auf uns. Der Service war sehr freundlich und schnell. Wir werden definitiv wieder hingehen!

Für mich der beste Thai in Darmstadt! 😌 Service ist wirklich bei jedem einzelnen Besuch unglaublich aufmerksam & freundlich - und wir kommen seit der Eröffnung regelmäßig. Die Gerichte sind super lecker und frisch. Egal ob Vorspeisen oder Hauptspeisen. Der Eistee Limette ist eine klare Getränke Empfehlung und die Qualität des Tofus und des Fleisches ist auch top. Wir kommen weiterhin regelmäßig 😊 vielen Dank!

Wir haben im Pinto Mittag gegessen. Sehr gemütliches Restaurant mit freundlicher und zügiger Bedienung. Das Essen (Thai Curry mit knusprigen Hähnchen sowie gebackene Nudeln mit Hähnchen) schmeckte fantastisch , alles sehr frisch und aromatisch. Haben für zwei üppige Hauptmahlzeiten und einer großen Flasche Mineralwasser unter 40 Euro bezahlt. Keinerlei Beanstandungen. Kommen jederzeit wieder.

Sehr gutes Essen und nettes Personal. Wir kommen immer gerne her. Die Tom Kha Pag Suppe ist unglaublich aromatisch und geschmacklich einfach super gut, kann ich sehr empfehlen. Wer scharf essen kann ist auch hier gut aufgehoben. Gerichte mit 3 Chilis haben es in sich!

Sehr leckere Gerichte... Schmecken fast authentisch Thai... U.a. best pad Thai, best mango sticky rice und best green ice tea. Wir freuen uns schon aufs nächste Mal.
