Spontaneously ate here on Sunday and was very surprised! Prepared super quickly, delicious, great and fresh. We are thrilled and will be back.

Very good food, the vegetables in my peanut curry were perfect. The restaurant is modernly furnished, the employees and the boss are friendly and accommodating. When we arrived it was pretty full so we had to wait a moment to be seated. The wait was worth it and I can definitely recommend the restaurant.

A real highlight of Thai cuisine! I recently visited this restaurant and absolutely loved it. The Pad Thai was to die for – authentic, fresh and full of flavor. Every dish was perfectly prepared and the selection left nothing to be desired. The service was first class: attentive, friendly and with a smile that made you feel welcome. Here you can tell that the team puts their heart and soul into what they do. The Thai Basil Smash was also excellent! A place I can recommend to anyone looking for great Thai cuisine and an all-round restaurant experience. I'll definitely be back!

Despite the empty store, cat tables are assigned for 2 people You look for vegetables in your food. The meal actually consists of rice and sauce and some “protein”.

Unfortunately the sushi is a total disaster. The restaurant has so many great dishes to offer, really tasty, but go eat sushi where you value it. Canned tuna :D

Super delicious Asian restaurant with a diverse menu. The sushi was very good. Vegetarians will also find something tasty on the menu here. A small drawback is that there are only small 0.2 liter soft drinks on the menu. This requires you to order a second drink later in the evening. Nevertheless, we would like to come back.

The food is good, although the last time I was there I had the impression that the quality had changed. Unfortunately, the restaurant is not suitable for a shared meal with good conversations. Incredibly loud, with much too loud music in the background. So if you just want to eat well - perfect. Not suitable for staying!

I think it's nice to be called by you, it immediately has a familiar feeling. When friends come, we always go to Green Thai and they love it too. You're doing a great job! Great location, good service, delicious drinks. Dishes too much salt and unfortunately not authentic even though there is a Thai in the kitchen. The one in the picture is the Bangkok style beef, the pad gra pau there. Anyone who has ever eaten a real pad gra pau can immediately see that it is not. In terms of taste, it wasn't even close to a pad gra pau, but for what it was it was ok, just the sauce was reduced a little too much. that made it very salty. The menu for this dish also said “Authentic Spicy” and was definitely milder than a feuerwurst. All in all we were very disappointed.

They have amazing options for food as well as drinks. The taste of the food is almost authentic! I would recommend Red Thai Curry but it also depends on your preferred spice level. Surprisingly their Panna Cotta tastes really good as well.

Restaurant is designed very well. Sitting in here now for the second night in a row. Yesterday was my first time here. Had to make sure it was not a fluke. The service is great and the menu has a ridiculous amount of options (you can customize your dish). Restaurant is very industrial modern and clean with good lighting. So far, every dish i have had was delicious. Coconut shrimp, fried rice (with shrimp and spice lvl 1). The wife had fried rice, vegetables, and crispy fried duck (cooked and seasoned perfectly), fried rice with chicken, and gyoza dumplings. Everything has been great and cooked very well. Will definitely be a new regular spot. Tons of vegetarian options as well.

It's a shame that the service wasn't that good...My family and I ate there on Sunday and were initially impressed by the decor and the selection on the menu. The food was also delicious. We were not impressed by the fact that we were called by the staff without asking and were not served properly. Very unfortunate! The food didn't come at the same time even though we asked for it beforehand. The starter came after the main course. People talked to my father like he was stupid just because he asked when the food would come. Half of them only came when the others had already finished eating. Conclusion: The food is good, but the service needs to be worked on.

In short: 3x yes^^. Food, service and ambience... simply top. I ate sushi there and have to say that it was, or is, the best sushi in all of Darmstadt. Quality over quantity is clearly the case here: Of course there are the usual categories, but there it is very manageable, but still very high quality. I have never eaten such good salmon before, as it has a relatively weak taste everywhere else. But here it is really intense and the soy sauce is not needed because it would only ruin the good taste. The staff is very attentive and always asks about the well-being of the guests. A quick word about the ambience, so that all 3 categories are covered: Very pleasant atmosphere. The whole thing is kept a little darker here, so that the light shines very well onto the table, but doesn't blind you or restrict you while eating. All in all, it is also very well attended, especially by the younger generation.

not bad, but not so Thai either

We went for Project party to Green Thai. They have variety of option for Staters and Main course. I tried Shrimps, Chicken Grill, Bankcock style dish and all of them taste awesome. Ambience of the place is very warm and feels nice for having a Family dinner, date or Project Party

During my short stay in Darmstadt I ate here twice. I love Thai cuisine and it really tasted great. You also have the opportunity to eat sushi. However, both are not prepared in one kitchen, but are available separately. Strong recommendation!

Starters and main courses were super tasty. Service was also good for the completely full restaurant. Desserts were rather weak compared to service and main courses, but still ok. Price-performance is right

I was here with a business partner and we had a very nice time together. The first course was sushi and then a traditional Thai dish. The prices are very reasonable in terms of quality and in Frankfurt you would pay a lot more for this. We both come from the catering industry and were really impressed. The service is courteous and they look after their guests very well. I think I feel very comfortable and welcome here Drank the best espresso in the city here, very very good the kitchen is open, you can see everything that's happening, the sushi kitchen is also open and you can even look at the chefs' hands and talk to the sushi masters and get advice. We felt very comfortable and were even offered a table away from the action because we wanted to chat in peace and undisturbed. Always delicious food and very friendly service.

The portions are very small compared to those in Frankfurt. We ordered salad + extra chicken crispy, and funchoza also with chicken, so the maximum weight of the chicken breast was 120 grams, which is exactly 4 uncut pieces. The menu does not indicate the weight of a portion of chicken or the dish at all🤔, this is very strange to me! Because you pay almost 5 euros for extra meat, but in the end they serve you a piece that weighs two nuggets from McDonald’s.

Delicious Fresh Sushi, Fast Staff Good Drinks

My husband and I have been going to Green Thai regularly for over 6 years. The only restaurant that hasn't diminished in quality, service or portion size after so long. Here you can get naked vegetables, tender meat and fresh sushi. No matter what we have tried so far - everything is delicious and everything tastes super fresh. The desserts are all delicious and something different. The service is always super nice and really tried hard. It's better to make a reservation on weekend evenings as it's always full. Nevertheless, you can always get a seat at the bar after a short wait. The atmosphere is modern and loving and in summer you can also sit outside. We have never been disappointed here.

So it was very chaotic, but the staff tried their best to make everything right. I had ordered by phone (which was quite difficult, the lady on the phone had a strong accent and could only partially understand me) and was supposed to come pick it up in 30 minutes. When I arrived the order was forgotten. However, the staff apologized and tried to prepare the food as quickly as possible. And I got a free drink while I waited, very nice. The food was very tasty.

We actually always enjoyed being here. With the new card obviously came a restructuring of pricing. Soft drinks are only available in small sizes, but at a great price. The specially ordered brown rice replaces the rice that usually goes with the curry, but is still completely higher in price. You can't say anything against the quality of the food, but the pricing policy leaves a lot to be desired.

Was there twice. First time was fine. Today, the second time, I went there for sushi. It was probably my last time. As I write this, I'm sitting on the toilet with a bucket and getting food poisoning.

A true culinary experience! geen Thai is definitely an insider tip for all lovers of Thai cuisine. The atmosphere is cozy and authentic, you immediately feel at home. The menu offers a great selection of traditional dishes, all freshly prepared with great attention to detail. Particularly noteworthy are the Pad Thai and the green curry - both dishes tasted simply outstanding and were perfectly seasoned. Special praise goes to our waiter Marcel. He was incredibly friendly, attentive and really made our evening. Marcel took the time to advise us on the selection of dishes and made sure that we didn't miss anything. Service like this makes a visit to the restaurant a completely successful experience. I can recommend geen Thai to anyone looking for authentic and delicious Thai food. We'll definitely be back!

After ordering food, we had to wait over an hour without our food being served. Instead of solving the problem, the staff just came up with a cheap excuse about an alleged mistake in the kitchen. No accommodation, no apology - instead we were boldly asked to pay for the one bottle of water we had ordered during the endless wait! I have never experienced such bad service. It's really unbelievable how badly customers are treated here. We will definitely never eat here again and I can only advise anyone not to visit this restaurant. Just disappointing!

Best store! This is the new hotspot in Darmstadt, especially on weekends. The new menu has a very good selection of cocktails. Lara and Marcel recommended very good drinks to us and the bartender Dastin also prepared them deliciously. From now on I'm a regular guest!

We were looking for an Asian restaurant in Darmstadt that offered sushi in addition to curry dishes and that's how we ended up in this restaurant. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and also offers some tables outside (foothills of the pedestrian zone). In the restaurant you will be met at the entrance and given a seat; There is free choice of seating outside. The menu came very quickly. However, I had to specifically ask about the sushi menu. The menu(s) offer a good selection of various Asian classics. The same applies to sushi. Both the drinks and the food were served promptly. The service is quick, friendly and professional. In terms of taste, both sushi and Asian curry were amazing. Excellent!!! We were there at lunchtime and were able to benefit from special offers. These prices are really fair, especially for sushi. Green Thai is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is very good and light - we always feel full but not too full afterwards. Price/performance ratio is right and the service is attentive. The atmosphere is informal and relaxed - so far we've always had a good time. You can also order sushi as an alternative, so there is a good range of Asian food. We like it there.

Very tasty food and good service

I didn't like it because there were less options for vegetarians without eggs. Food is ok but it is a nice place for fresh eaters. This is my opinion and I stick to it. Add more vegan items, you can't eat soya as a vegan item every time.

I'll start with the service from the last three times: The first time - young, handsome and very good service man - thank you for the great service😘 The second and third time, exactly the same, a pretty young service lady who satisfied us two large groups with all our extra requests! The food is very tasty, but there is enough room for improvement. I slightly miss the authenticity of Thai dishes. And the sushi menu should be designed to be slightly more visual for “non-professionals”. I know an artist who can conjure up the card for you in a picturesque way and not like “0815” cards from the internet. I'm happy to come three times or more - as long as you can satisfy me 😉

I went to Green Thai for lunch with my wife for the first time this afternoon. An Asian lady gave me excellent advice on what I should eat. Based on her recommendation, the starter and main course suggestions tasted excellent; we were certainly not there for the last time. Went there again for lunch today, the same Asian lady was there again and once again gave an excellent recommendation and it tasted extremely good again!!!

Nice restaurant with a manageable menu. Nevertheless, the menu can be varied by combining different side dishes. For the price there is a decent portion of great tasting food. The waitresses are friendly, the food came quickly, and the atmosphere is nice.

There is a lot to discover 😉 The menu is extensive and offers a great selection for every taste plus on top of that a sushi selection 🤩 The service is prompt and quick. Even if the store is full (Friday evening), you don't have to wait long for your order 👍 The Asian dishes are quite authentic and very fresh. Important with sushi - the "Tempura Rolls" are not tempura rolls, i.e. fit sushi rolls, that only refers to the tempura shrimp (TempuraEbi) that is used in normal sushi. Disappointing because the service doesn't know this and, despite the misleading, leaves the guests alone... What a shame 🤔🤷 Need to be changed or moderated. Especially since it has been discussed many times - it has been admitted... 🍣 Despite the disappointment about the tempura confusion, the sushi is very, very good 👍👍👍

Very good pad thai, real Thai cooks and lots of vegan dishes

Unfortunately the service is very inattentive and slow. As a rule, you are neither greeted nor farewelled. It is also very difficult to order another drink or dessert. If you just want something quick to eat and don't expect good service, then it's fine.

So far it has always fully met my expectations. The lunch menu for sushi is also recommended.

We were very happy with the service and the food. We were served by Sofija. Very personable demeanor, great mood and very, very nice and entertaining. She is very open-minded, but always remains professional. Despite the large number of guests, we were served early and were very satisfied.

We've been there a few times now and unfortunately things got worse with each visit. The portions were different sizes on every visit, tips were left without comment at the end and there was no farewell from the entire staff when they left the restaurant. Empty glasses on the tables were ignored and for every request you had to contact someone and then wait, even though there were a lot of staff standing unemployed in front of the counter. We've always been happy to come for the food, but now we're crossing the place off our list for a while. Unfortunately, the price-performance principle no longer works here…

Price-performance ratio is ok, but very normal for downtown Darmstadt. The food has always tasted good to me. Service is attentive, fast, friendly and funny - especially the waitress Jessi. I highly recommend the street food dishes. In summer you can sit outside nicely. I'd love to come back!

We really enjoyed the meal, the service was very nice and attentive, as was the rest of the team. We had made a special reservation (definitely recommended on a Friday) and we were able to choose a nice table ourselves. The decor is also very chic. Only the Prosecco was not good and stale and then €5 for a glass of 0.1. We cannot recommend that.
