The ambiance simply isn't to my taste, but otherwise there's certainly nothing to complain about.

I ordered a salad with shrimp, but unfortunately, the salad was far too spicy and tasted like old fish. Even though I didn't eat the shrimp, I still had to pay for them. I cannot recommend this restaurant.

The beef broth in the soup was awful, tasted inauthentic, and was simply not good. I asked for a different soup but received the same one. The service was very friendly, but I wanted to eat.

When it comes to Asian cuisine in Darmstadt, Green Thai is my absolute top choice and one of my favorites! The staff are all incredibly friendly, the restaurant boasts a cool atmosphere and great music. The menu is clear and well-organized, and you absolutely must try the fantastic homemade drinks! My tip: The sushi! It's prepared separately in the back by two true sushi experts – it's not just ordinary sushi, it's divine! 🍣✨ I'm a regular and come here often. The parking garage underneath is also very convenient. And let's not forget, in the summer you can also enjoy the outdoor seating. A definite recommendation for anyone who loves Asian food and a cool place!

Green Thai is a place I truly love and visit regularly. That's why today's visit was so baffling. The waiter who served us around 1 p.m. seemed completely unmotivated. Even a simple request to have the Pad Thai served with glass noodles was refused without consulting the kitchen – accompanied by an annoyed demeanor that completely lacked any hospitality. I've never experienced anything like this from the owner of the restaurant, which makes it all the more disappointing. Completely different was the young woman with blonde hair upstairs: friendly, attentive, and simply excellent. I really hate to write this, but I hope this feedback reaches the right people.

I had to deduct some points because I feel the food hasn't been cooked properly or thoroughly enough lately. Otherwise, I enjoy eating at your restaurant.

I LOVE the vegan finger food mix and am happy to pay €12 for it - but to sell just lettuce with some avocado (which was at least plentiful and perfectly ripe), 5 carrot strips, 3 small tomato halves, some bell pepper and a few walnut crumbs for the same price is simply outrageous.

Delicious food and very cozy atmosphere tied to greatness service deserves one of the best reviews. Parking at Luisenplatz underground is in an acceptable price range (2,50 Euro/hour). A short 2 minutes walk from Parking towards the establishment leads through downtown pavement with an abundance of stores. Chicken with glass noodles and tendered beef in a spicy sauce, were a good choice, in addition a delicious dessert as sticky rice with mango sorbet rounded up dinner. Drinks available from teas up to liquors and beers.

Today I met up with my friends here. The atmosphere was really nice, the food was delicious and very filling. The staff were very friendly and attentive – especially Nora was incredibly warm and helpful. I'll definitely be back!

We've been there many times. Like yesterday. The friendly service was very good and on top of everything, even in English! You always get a seat. We'd love to come back.

While they do have quite a few vegan options for each category of dishes, gluten free options that are vegan are very limited, mostly because they cook in advance everything including tofu/tempeh and they don't offer any gluten free soy sauce, which is easy to get anywhere nowadays. Otherwise the staff was extremely kind and helpful.

The restaurant is nice, but immediately after eating, I got severe stomach pains. It was also strange that the meal arrived on the table within minutes. The pasta dish looked like it had been carved from a large block of pasta. The service was poor; our glasses were empty for over an hour before the waiter came back to us, even though there were only a handful of guests in the restaurant.

Very tasty! You can freely choose the protein for your main course, which means there's a large vegetarian selection. Note: Dishes without an explicit "vegetarian" label that appear vegetarian usually have fish sauce. However, vegetarian/vegan options are clearly marked. Unfortunately, the tempeh was deep-fried, even though the menu didn't explicitly state it as such (for tofu, for example, it explicitly stated this). It was tasty, but I was expecting unfried tempeh, and I would have preferred that.

Really delicious food and top service

Despite the empty store, they assign a table for two people. You look for vegetables in the food. The meal actually consists of rice and sauce, with a "protein" added.

We were looking for an Asian restaurant in Darmstadt that serves sushi alongside curry dishes, and that's how we ended up at this one. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and also offers a few outdoor tables (off the pedestrian zone). You are greeted at the entrance and assigned a seat; outside seating is free. The menu arrived very quickly. However, I had to specifically request the sushi menu. The menu(s) offer a good selection of various Asian classics. The same applies to the sushi. Both the drinks and the food were served promptly. The service was fast, friendly, and professional. Both the sushi and the Asian curry were delicious. Great!!! We were there at lunchtime and were able to take advantage of special offers. The prices for sushi, especially, are really fair. Overall, we were really satisfied.

Friendly and attentive service. We got a table even without a reservation on a Saturday night. The Thai dishes were decent, but—what kind of Thai iced tea was that? I've never had such inauthentic Thai iced tea before, unfortunately. It tasted more like packaged iced tea with no Thai tea flavor, without the acidity of limes... I was very, very disappointed. The inside-out roll with ebi tempura also unfortunately had far too much teriyaki sauce, which overpowered the entire flavor.

The food is truly delicious, and the waiter who served us clearly loves his job; it was a real pleasure working with him. Kudos! The location is also great; the only downside is that it's very loud. The place was very crowded, and it was really difficult to have a conversation. Unfortunately, for that reason, it's getting one star for ambience.

The food was excellent. You can tell the chefs are connected to the region. Our waiter (a young man from Frankfurt) was great! (Unfortunately, we see fewer and fewer good staff.) Thanks for the service. We sat outside on the terrace. Across from the restaurant, there's a construction site where they were working loudly and causing a lot of noise. The restaurant can't be blamed for that, but it was still disturbing. We can't comment on the ambience inside.

The food was absolutely delicious, showcasing great flavors and quality ingredients. However, the long wait significantly impacted our experience. While we'd love to return and explore more of the menu, the excessive wait time makes it hard to justify coming back.

When we asked if the ginger taste was too strong, we were given a small glass to try - delicious. We had the 7, veggie finger food, 21 spicy chili and green curry extra rice. The basil ginger and passion fruit mint iced tea are also delicious!

We've been eating at Green Thai regularly because the food is really good and always served quickly. After our last visit, however, the question arises as to whether we would like to continue coming. The service was extremely unfriendly. First the wrong food was taken and there was real trouble when it came to paying: My girlfriend and I had previously agreed that she would pay for the food and I would pay for the drinks. We also told another waitress that clearly. Nevertheless, in the end we were shouted at that it wasn't possible and that we should have said so beforehand - which is simply not true. We then had to pay everything together. The tone was disrespectful and annoyed, as if we had done something wrong. This is not how you treat guests, especially regular guests. Very disappointing - unfortunately the good food can't make up for it.

Great food and service, various Asian dishes on the menu. The Gyoza tasted surprisingly authentic. Soup was good and the Curry tasty and spicy. The place is pretty large, the atmosphere was busy and felt crowded, although it was not completely full, reminded me of a large company canteen. Staff was friendly, attentive and quick though. Parking is kind of difficult as always in inner cities. There’s a parking garage nearby which costs about 3€ per hour.

Disappointing: Too expensive for far too little! I was really disappointed with the food I ordered. The portions were far too small for the high price, even though it wasn't cheap. What was even more frustrating was that you had to pay extra for meat - and even then the amount of meat was **ridiculously small**. For the extra charge I would have expected at least a decent portion, but it was little more than a few small pieces. The food itself was good, but definitely not recommended given this poor price-performance ratio. If you want to be full or expect a good meat side dish, you will be disappointed here. I'm not coming anymore!

Waiter Seda pointed out the latest news in the menu and we were literally amazed! Everything took a little longer today, but drinks and appetizers kept us entertained. Keep it up!

Was here for the first time today. The food was delicious (curry dish No. 36), and the jasmine tea was served stylishly in a very heavy pot. 😅 I was there alone and got a nice window seat. The service was prompt, attentive and very friendly. What I saw on the other tables (sushi, etc.) also looked extremely appealing and appetizing. Price-performance ratio absolutely appropriate. I'd love to come back. 😊

I've eaten there several times now and the food tastes really good. But what I always notice is that the prices on the menu don't match the prices on the bill. Please correct the menu. You get annoyed when you end up paying more than what's on the card.

I am a big fan of Green Thai and have always been very satisfied. Unfortunately, my last visit didn't entirely convince me. Unfortunately, this time the Pad Kra Pau wasn't spicy and wasn't as aromatic as I know it from the past - and that's a shame because I usually really appreciate the authentic cuisine here. It might also be worth considering developing a sound concept for the store. When the house is full it can get really loud and that takes away from the coziness. But that can definitely be solved easily. All in all, Green Thai continues to be a good restaurant, but I wasn't quite as impressed with my last visit as usual. I hope it's as great as I know it next time!

Very nice shop. I was immediately struck by the friendliness of the service. The food was also very tasty and the portion size was appropriate. On Saturday evening a DJ played pleasant music, which really added to the ambience. Particularly noteworthy are the spring rolls, which are actually freshly prepared and filled with really tasty vegetables.

The crispy chicken is really a 10/10 but the peanut sauce was a bit watery and for just under €13/14 the portion was really small. The spring rolls are also good. Service quick and friendly. You can do it, you don't have to!

The service in the restaurant was nice. The Pad Thai wasn't good because it tasted extremely sweet and you had to drown it in soy sauce to make it edible. The sushi was good. After lunch we took a lot of sushi home for my sons. Despite repeatedly pointing out that the sushi shouldn't be a bit raw, but rather flambéed, they prepared it raw even though the waitress said that it would of course be cooked the same way again. The sushi we ordered is listed as flambéed in the menu, just like we got it in the restaurant! The portion we took home was completely raw! A no-go! After I called to complain, they said I would be called back so we could find a solution. The call never came! Paid a lot of money for the garbage can! Never again.

You wait too long for the food on site, almost 2 hours

Very tasty food, nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. There are only two things that need to be improved. With 3 chili peppers in Thai food, I expect more 🌶️ 🌶️🌶️ and when I order something spicy, I'm used to getting small chilies from the Thai and not Samba Olek like from the Chinese. It is already on the table in many Thai restaurants! Sambal Olek is not very spicy and way too salty. But apart from that, the food was very tasty and I would like to come back.

Simply the best flavor explosion!

This time I had the homemade raspberry peppermint lemonade, the wontons and Bangkok style beef for the main course. It had a pleasant spiciness and could have been a little spicier for my taste. The food was really really tasty... It's really really tasty every time we visit! The service was very friendly and attentive, not intrusive. Always happy ❤️

Green Thai is our go to favorite in Darmstadt, which happens to be dog friendly! The ambiance, wide range of menu items and excellent food make it a no brainer. My partner loves the Bangkok Style Beef, Phad Gra Prau Chili with steak and the fried dumpling appetizers. You can’t go wrong with the Phad Thai with shrimp or the Garnelen-Glas Nudl-Sat. The restaurant is always busy so reservations are recommended.

Nice shop with really great food. My favorite is the peanut curry! I'm lucky and I'm regularly served by Seda, who always makes you feel like you're in good hands and looked after and gives you the best recommendations if you want to try something new.

The food is always super tasty, not authentically Thai, but you don't expect that. always lots of vegetables. The price is still okay. We also had something delivered via wolt a few times and it always worked out great.
