It's just a shame that there is no longer an outdoor swimming pool...

We traveled for work in a group of 15 people and found out about the location in advance through reviews. We don't share the sometimes drastic negative reviews. some drank tea, it was ok. Thank you very much for the relaxing stay.

Unfortunately, absolute catastrophe - price performance is not possible at all Here you simply get frozen goods slapped onto your plate, the large bag of buttered vegetables is only subtly modified in the other 10 dishes, croquettes and fries are very flabby. It is difficult to cope with menu changes due to intolerances, for example. The service rearranged the guest room during the stay If I could, I would give zero stars. It's a shame, we were passing through and thought we could recharge our batteries...:(

Nice atmosphere, bad service, even worse food: We stayed at the hotel for one night. Upon arrival we were given a parking card and also what was supposed to be a (room) card. When we got to the room door, we discovered that it could only be opened with a key and not with the (electricity) card that was handed out. The key was accidentally not given to us. So I got the key again. For dinner in the castle we ordered gnocchi with spinach and sliced meat with broccoli and croquettes. When the receptionist/waiter asked if everything was OK, I gave the following answer: "No, the croquettes are lukewarm and sticky, the broccoli is mushy, no longer recognizable as such and also lukewarm, and the sliced meat is fricasses or chicken soup, you can't tell for sure." The waiter's answer: "So the other 43 guests of the day didn't complain." I therefore assume that they had no claim to the food or ate something else. There was no more talk about the gnocchi with spinach, but for the sake of completeness I would like to mention that it was also oversalted and lukewarm m were. The taste and consistency of the Kaiserschmarn for dessert was very similar to the toasted toast cubes that I always incorporate into potato dumplings. When paying, the waiter kindly pointed out how difficult it was to get a good chef, but that we couldn't expect more for the 23 euros we paid per person for the meal. In fact, I have the following expectation: Please point out to the restaurant that you can't expect anything for your money there!
