Fischerhof Gahrns GmbH in Gardelegen

We were there spontaneously last Sunday on our motorcycle tour. The weather was right and we were given space outside. There were 14 of us. Very very nice. Fast service Great food. You just have to go there more often. Our entire group thought it was great... We were all there for the first time.

Actually a very nice fishing pond, but... 1. The day ticket now costs €40 instead of the €35 listed on the website. 2. On the side that always seems to be occupied, the two seats were occupied. The two were probably there from 6 a.m. to go fishing. Why? Because there was an alarm for 1 hour after the occupation. One caught almost 20 (his nephew with Spoon 2), the other caught 10. There was nothing left of the stock at midday. At least I got two. This is important for the lunch menu, because it will not be occupied again. In total, if I saw correctly, about 10 trout were caught in the rest of the pond. 3. Several other visitors complained about the empty toilet paper. That wasn't refilled during the day either. It would be desirable if the stockings were distributed around the pond. That's how I first experienced it in Denmark and it's simply fairer. And of course, the prices on the website have to be right. Then we'd like to give it 5⭐ because it's a beautiful, well-maintained facility.

We can only recommend this restaurant. The staff was super friendly, we didn't have to wait long for the food and the atmosphere was great.

There were four of us eating. The pumpkin soup was unique. We were completely satisfied with our main courses. The desserts were the crowning glory. The service was polite and courteous. I will recommend it to others.

The fish farm is a bit hidden but still easy to find. The location directly on the pond is very idyllic. The waiting time was bearable and the staff was really friendly and on the ball. The food tasted good and the prices for food and drinks are also fair. We'd love to come back!

Very interesting location. You can also fish and buy fresh fish here. We had to wait a little longer for service. But it could also have been because it wasn't completely empty.

The ambience is very nice. You can sit inside or outside and look at the ponds. You should be patient until you place your order and then again until the food arrives. After eating you can take a nice walk around the ponds. You can also fish there yourself!

Wonderful fish restaurant, everything is just right here

We had lunch at Fischerhof Gahms on our wedding day. Everything was wonderful. The weather was great, sunny and warm, so we were able to sit outside by the pond and the food was super, super tasty. Fish platter for 2 people is highly recommended. We can happily recommend the Fischerhof Gahms. We have eaten here several times in the past and it has always been wonderful.

Beautiful food, architecture and surroundings This was our second visit and it was even better than the first as the beautiful summer evening meant being able to eat outside and fully appreciate the beautiful surroundings as well as the excellent food. We ordered the fish platter for two which came beautifully presented on a large serving plate with various types of fish fillets (all bone free) and generous sides of mixed vegetables, salad and any choice of potatoes. An excellent choice and great value for money.

For me the most beautiful fish restaurant in and around Gardelegen. Come here regularly for lunch and have never been disappointed with the service or food. The price/performance ratio is perfectly fine!

A huge compliment to the whole team, the staff are very relaxed and friendly, the cuisine is delicious and the ambience is a dream. You get that holiday feeling when you can sit outside and take a walk. The smoked fish, which is always bought afterwards, is also a must. We say THANK YOU and stay that way!!!!!!

We had to wait 15 minutes to pay, during which time the employee calmly continued to fold his food!!! When he came to us, there were no friendly words, he couldn't even speak in sentences, he only said €53.65, and we weren't served a bill either! The other staff were extremely friendly, but were obviously not allowed to pay by card!!!

Wir treffen am späten Sonntagnachmittag am Fischerhof Gahrns ein - wir sind 2 Personen mit einem sehr gut erzogenem und ausgesprochen ruhigen Hund - unserem 7 jährigen Boxer Gigi. Im Speisekartenaushang lesen wir mit großer Freude, dass KEINE Reservierungen auf der Terrasse möglich sind. Auf der Terrasse angekommen, sehen wir zwei erfahrene Kellner im angeregten Gespräch. Wunderlicher Weise und im Gegensatz zum Aushang steht auf fast jedem Tisch der Terrasse je ein Schild mit der Aufschrift „Reserviert“. Eine junge Nachwuchskraft, die gerade die Tische abwischt, begrüßt uns sehr freundlich und weißt uns einen Tisch auf der Terrasse zu, auf dem kein Schild steht. Der Tisch ist also offensichtlich nicht reserviert. Etliche Minuten nachdem wir uns an dem nicht reservierten Tisch niedergelassen haben und unser Hund still auf dem Holzboden liegt, kommt einer der Kellner, die zuvor absolutes Desinteresse zeigten, an unseren Tisch. Von einer angemessenen Begrüßung sieht der ausgesprochen unfreundliche Restaurantfachman ab. Vielmehr überrollt er uns mit der Aussage, dass die junge Kollegin hier einen Fehler gemacht habe und weist uns an den Tisch zu wechseln. Interessanterweise weist er uns nun an, an einem Tisch zu wechseln, der mit einem Reservierungsschild versehen ist. Das ausgesprochen unfreundliche und unpassende Verhalten des Mitarbeiters, der der Bezeichnung Restaurantfachmann nicht gerecht wird, aber auch der betrügerische Umgang mit den Gästen, der hier im Fischerhof Gahrns offensichtlich gepflegt wird, veranlassen uns direkt wieder zu gehen. Wir bedauern es sehr, die Speisen hier nicht probiert zu haben, Freunde hatten uns das Restaurant empfohlen und Gäste, die das Restaurant zeitgleich mit uns verließen, bestätigten diese Empfehlung. Aber dieses hochkarätig unprofessionelle Verhalten der Servicekraft hat uns diesen Genuss leider verdorben. Uns ist bis dato leider nicht klar, ob unser Hund Anlass für dieses absolut GASTUNFREUNDLICHE Verhalten war oder ob im Fischerhof Gahrns grundsätzlich gleichgeschlechtliche Paare unerwünscht sind. Für uns steht aber fest: Auch die allerbeste Küche der Welt kann Unfreundlichkeit und Gäste abweisendes Verhalten der Servicekräfte NICHT ausgleichen. Somit bleiben uns die Küchengenüsse des Fischerhofs Gahrns verborgen.

Very quiet and easy to reach. There are enough parking spaces available.

I am more than thrilled with this restaurant and Fischerhof. A beautifully landscaped property with a great restaurant, the staff is always friendly and helpful and the food is prepared with love. It also sometimes takes 30-45 minutes for the food to arrive, which I think is completely ok considering that it is freshly prepared and it is also noted on the menu, plus the high capacity utilization of the restaurant. So always book a table in advance if possible, otherwise it will be difficult to find a seat on some days. You are also welcome to catch your own dinner for home on the farm. There are several kilo ponds and a day ticket pond available, stocked with salmon, rainbow, golden trout, zander, catfish, pike and sturgeon. The fish are healthy and of good quality. I can only recommend a trip there to everyone.

We were there to go fishing and the manager at the pond was very friendly and helpful. Fishing bait should be taken with you as there is no sale on site. The complex makes a well-kept impression and you can drive completely around the lake by car. The trout we caught was very tasty ;-) The restaurant also made a great impression, we will stop by there soon. We will be back!

We were there again in mid-May. What can I say, the food is a culinary delight as always. The sun was burning. We can't understand why the parasols weren't put up. There was a somewhat bad-tempered employee (maybe it's the boss?) who we asked about it and he answered us briefly with "no". However, there were enough guests who enjoyed baking outside in the midday sun. We were then given a table in the veranda, which was very pleasant.

A very nice excursion destination! The developed terrace and the beautifully furnished rooms make it easy to forget time and let the feeling of well-being last! Only the portion sizes could have been a little larger for the prices. Otherwise the food is great!

Super tasty fish dishes. Recommended: fish platter for 2 people or the Müllerinnennart trout. Normal dishes without fish are more standard. But that's ok, because you're in a fish restaurant and in return you get fresh fish and a super cozy atmosphere (see photos on the website)! With that in mind, enjoy your meal! :-)

We were registered as a tour group. Unfortunately, my food came absolutely last. There was no apology that my food was served elsewhere.

Today we had the daily special: pike perch fillet on creamed chanterelles with croquettes. The zander fillet consisted of the tail ends and was of poor quality, as were the croquettes, but the price was far too high at just under EUR 26.00. This is better quality and not like something from the supermarket. Our grandson's Wiener-style schnitzel also didn't give the impression of being pan-fried. For the price you can expect more.

It was busy, full house. But we still got 2 seats without pre-ordering. Very nice staff, delicious food. I would be happy to recommend it.

We were there for a birthday dinner. It is advisable to reserve a table on weekends. Service very friendly and accommodating. Great outdoor area with a terrace and playground for children. Price performance absolutely appropriate.

It was a great day with friends. After a successful morning of fishing, a very tasty lunch, with extremely polite service in a lovingly equipped restaurant. A day that had been planned as an excursion turned into an experience and the desire to travel the route from Bernburg to Gardelegen again.

We had dinner there with the family on Ascension weekend. The food and the ambience were simply great, so we were happy to sit there a little longer.

Alles Top, das Essen, das Ambiente usw. Nur man wird nicht satt und das obwohl das Gericht 25€. Dad war nicht nur bei meinem Gricht sondern bei allen von uns. Eine Kartoffel in 3Stücke geschnitten ind 4 dünne Soargel pro Teller. Schade...

Great location next to a fish pond. When the weather is nice, you can sit outside very well. But the ambience inside is really very nice and unusual. The service was super nice and friendly. The food also tasted very good. Thank you very much, we'll be happy to come back.

The ambience is beautifully done and addresses the fishing theme well. The service is friendly. The food was okay. Unfortunately, the potatoes were a bit too salty, the breading of my schnitzel (I don't like eating fish, but my family does) was a ready-made product because I had an allergic reaction (probably a thickener, when I asked they only said that the breading was homemade). So I couldn't eat it anymore. Unfortunately, the fish nuggets for children had a lot of bones, which I find a bit critical when it comes to children. The small playground for children could also be spruced up a bit. Overall it was okay.

We went out to eat here relatively spontaneously, quickly called and made a reservation (understandably, according to the website, this is desirable) We got exactly the space I wanted on the phone. The service was great and very nice, as was the food and the price-performance ratio. The ambience was also amazing. Everything made of wood, benches with cozy furs, a huge fireplace and matching decorations on the ceiling everywhere.

Subject fishing park We went fishing at Kiloteich today, March 31, 2024. When billing for the rainbow trout we caught, we were charged 10.00 euros instead of 9.00 euros as advertised on the homepage. Even a discussion with the boss was unsuccessful. That's pretty shameless!!!

Nice facility, was there with children at the kilo ponds. The children had a lot of fun and we were able to look at the breeding tanks. Staff is very nice! I can highly recommend the facility to anyone who wants to go fishing with their children or themselves with a guaranteed fish.
