The restaurant and the complex are located in a beautiful, quiet environment, we often dine there, the staff try to stay nice despite the rush at peak times, which is understandable my favorite Forrelenfilets farmer style, the fish dishes are very hard to beat, really good quality 😋😋😋 It is also ideal for nature lovers, no annoying noise like in the cities, pure peace and quiet after the meal, you can go for a nice walk around the ponds and then or before a café or dessert take in

Hello, if you are looking for a good restaurant in Gardelegen and the surrounding area that focuses on fish, you will be well served at “Fischerhof Gahrns” in Gardelegen. The atmosphere is rustic and you can enjoy your meal on two levels. The staff is polite and accommodating, but you should reserve a table in good time as this restaurant is very busy. In addition to the dishes suggested in the menu, there are also current daily specials. My wife had salmon stuffed with spinach, shrimp and feta gratinated, I had fried trout "Müllerin style" and a seaweed salad as a starter. All in all, hungry for good fish, then off to the Fischerhof Gahrns.

Positive: First of all, you have to say that the restaurant is beautiful. We felt comfortable there. Secondly, the waitress was entertaining and chatted a lot about the “Paulaner Garden”. Thirdly, the food tasted good. Negative: For a soup or fish solyanka (no starter according to the menu) €6.50 was okay at first. But...and what I found really sad was the small cup in which the fish solyanka was served and then the fact that I paid €7.50 instead of €6.50...! Secondly...and you can look at this however you want, but I actually assume that the staff who collect the money should do their job properly. Here it was like this: First we discuss everything we ate and then we trustingly pay the amount mentioned. I only received a receipt after requesting it. And that's where the rub lies. I got my receipt, had already paid and since we were busy chatting, I just pocketed the receipt...in confidence and without checking again! The end of the story was that I paid for a salad on the receipt that I neither ordered nor ate! Unfortunately I was at home when I saw this and it's a bit far to go to come back. I see the whole thing as an oversight. But as we all know, the fun ends with money. Nevertheless, I can recommend the restaurant and use my experience to make other guests aware of the need to be careful.

The best seafood restaurant I've been to in a long time! Very clean, relaxed outdoor area, courteous staff, plenty of parking available, playground for children and the food is to die for!

Nice location! For my taste you sit too close to other guests. The sheepskins on the benches also take some getting used to. The staff is super nice and attentive. Food was quite ok!

A very beautiful place, whether summer or winter! Outside on the terrace right next to the lake... or inside... it's just cozy, homely... you can still easily smell the smell of the wood indoors in winter... you sit really well... the pike perch was crispy and juicy... the seak was medium as ordered! Wir waren am Valentinstag dort. Es gab nur ein 3-gänge-menü, welches dem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis überhaupt nicht entsprach. Eine a la Carte Auswahl war nicht möglich - was wir unverschämt fanden. Das Ambiente ist schön, aber darauf kann man sich nicht ausruhen... für uns ein Flop!

Valentinstag- Ohne Informationen gab es nur ein 3-Gänge Menue für überteuerte 35,90€. Das Essen war sehr dürftig. Vorspeise und Hauptgericht waren nur lauwarm. Der im Hofladen verkaufte geräucherte Fisch wurde ohne Rechnung "schwarz" verkauft. Nie wieder diese Gaststätte.

Im Vergleich zu vor ein paar Jahren stimmt das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis hier einfach nicht mehr…. Man findet so gut wie kein Gemüse mehr auf der Karte. Nur die Preise steigen… wir sind total enttäuscht… hier gehts nur noch um ‚Abfertigung‘ … satt sind wir auch nicht geworden trotz 3-Gänge-Menü… sehr enttäuschend.

On all of our visits to Gahrns, the food was always excellent. The mashed potatoes in particular taste like home and are incredibly tasty and delicious. The quality of the fish is outstanding and of the best quality. The staff is always in a good mood and very accommodating. A visit to Gahrns is always a pleasure and I can 100% recommend this place. Feeding the fish in the water is a great experience, especially for children.

A beautiful restaurant for a cozy stop. The ambience is breathtaking. With great attention to detail, the fish restaurant was given the right charm. The food is consistently tasty and in generous portions. Even for non-fish enthusiasts you will find the right food here. The staff is always friendly and very accommodating. There wasn't a long wait for food and drinks.

We were there spontaneously last Sunday on our motorcycle tour. The weather was right and we were given space outside. There were 14 of us. Very very nice. Fast service Great food. You just have to go there more often. Our entire group thought it was great... We were all there for the first time.

Actually a very nice fishing pond, but... 1. The day ticket now costs €40 instead of the €35 listed on the website. 2. On the side that always seems to be occupied, the two seats were occupied. The two were probably there from 6 a.m. to go fishing. Why? Because there was an alarm for 1 hour after the occupation. One caught almost 20 (his nephew with Spoon 2), the other caught 10. There was nothing left of the stock at midday. At least I got two. This is important for the lunch menu, because it will not be occupied again. In total, if I saw correctly, about 10 trout were caught in the rest of the pond. 3. Several other visitors complained about the empty toilet paper. That wasn't refilled during the day either. It would be desirable if the stockings were distributed around the pond. That's how I first experienced it in Denmark and it's simply fairer. And of course, the prices on the website have to be right. Then we'd like to give it 5⭐ because it's a beautiful, well-maintained facility.

Wonderful fish restaurant, everything is just right here

Beautiful food, architecture and surroundings This was our second visit and it was even better than the first as the beautiful summer evening meant being able to eat outside and fully appreciate the beautiful surroundings as well as the excellent food. We ordered the fish platter for two which came beautifully presented on a large serving plate with various types of fish fillets (all bone free) and generous sides of mixed vegetables, salad and any choice of potatoes. An excellent choice and great value for money.

We had lunch at Fischerhof Gahms on our wedding day. Everything was wonderful. The weather was great, sunny and warm, so we were able to sit outside by the pond and the food was super, super tasty. Fish platter for 2 people is highly recommended. We can happily recommend the Fischerhof Gahms. We have eaten here several times in the past and it has always been wonderful.

We had to wait 15 minutes to pay, during which time the employee calmly continued to fold his food!!! When he came to us, there were no friendly words, he couldn't even speak in sentences, he only said €53.65, and we weren't served a bill either! Wir treffen am späten Sonntagnachmittag am Fischerhof Gahrns ein - wir sind 2 Personen mit einem sehr gut erzogenem und ausgesprochen ruhigen Hund - unserem 7 jährigen Boxer Gigi. Im Speisekartenaushang lesen wir mit großer Freude, dass KEINE Reservierungen auf der Terrasse möglich sind. Auf der Terrasse angekommen, sehen wir zwei erfahrene Kellner im angeregten Gespräch. Wunderlicher Weise und im Gegensatz zum Aushang steht auf fast jedem Tisch der Terrasse je ein Schild mit der Aufschrift „Reserviert“. Eine junge Nachwuchskraft, die gerade die Tische abwischt, begrüßt uns sehr freundlich und weißt uns einen Tisch auf der Terrasse zu, auf dem kein Schild steht. Der Tisch ist also offensichtlich nicht reserviert. Etliche Minuten nachdem wir uns an dem nicht reservierten Tisch niedergelassen haben und unser Hund still auf dem Holzboden liegt, kommt einer der Kellner, die zuvor absolutes Desinteresse zeigten, an unseren Tisch. Von einer angemessenen Begrüßung sieht der ausgesprochen unfreundliche Restaurantfachman ab. Vielmehr überrollt er uns mit der Aussage, dass die junge Kollegin hier einen Fehler gemacht habe und weist uns an den Tisch zu wechseln. Interessanterweise weist er uns nun an, an einem Tisch zu wechseln, der mit einem Reservierungsschild versehen ist. Das ausgesprochen unfreundliche und unpassende Verhalten des Mitarbeiters, der der Bezeichnung Restaurantfachmann nicht gerecht wird, aber auch der betrügerische Umgang mit den Gästen, der hier im Fischerhof Gahrns offensichtlich gepflegt wird, veranlassen uns direkt wieder zu gehen. Wir bedauern es sehr, die Speisen hier nicht probiert zu haben, Freunde hatten uns das Restaurant empfohlen und Gäste, die das Restaurant zeitgleich mit uns verließen, bestätigten diese Empfehlung. Aber dieses hochkarätig unprofessionelle Verhalten der Servicekraft hat uns diesen Genuss leider verdorben. Uns ist bis dato leider nicht klar, ob unser Hund Anlass für dieses absolut GASTUNFREUNDLICHE Verhalten war oder ob im Fischerhof Gahrns grundsätzlich gleichgeschlechtliche Paare unerwünscht sind. Für uns steht aber fest: Auch die allerbeste Küche der Welt kann Unfreundlichkeit und Gäste abweisendes Verhalten der Servicekräfte NICHT ausgleichen. Somit bleiben uns die Küchengenüsse des Fischerhofs Gahrns verborgen.

I am more than thrilled with this restaurant and Fischerhof. A beautifully landscaped property with a great restaurant, the staff is always friendly and helpful and the food is prepared with love. It also sometimes takes 30-45 minutes for the food to arrive, which I think is completely ok considering that it is freshly prepared and it is also noted on the menu, plus the high capacity utilization of the restaurant. So always book a table in advance if possible, otherwise it will be difficult to find a seat on some days. You are also welcome to catch your own dinner for home on the farm. There are several kilo ponds and a day ticket pond available, stocked with salmon, rainbow, golden trout, zander, catfish, pike and sturgeon. The fish are healthy and of good quality. I can only recommend a trip there to everyone.

Super local but no problem without pre-ordering

We were there to go fishing and the manager at the pond was very friendly and helpful. Fishing bait should be taken with you as there is no sale on site. The complex makes a well-kept impression and you can drive completely around the lake by car. The trout we caught was very tasty ;-) The restaurant also made a great impression, we will stop by there soon. We will be back!
