Delicious food and a great atmosphere. Very friendly service last Sunday, and we'll be back to try the cake.

The service is rather unfriendly. Portions are just about acceptable, and if you order dessert with it, you'll be full. The fried potatoes are not recommended. We don't recommend it, even though it's a really nice place.

This fishing farm is highly recommended, both for amateur anglers and gourmets. A wonderful ambiance, superb service, and exquisite food.

We went salmon trout fishing with the family today, and as soon as we arrived, we had a lovely chat with the senior, as if we'd known each other for a long time 😉! I thought it was great! Keep it up! One small note: seating by the ponds would be a great addition!

The location and setting are fantastic! We were a bit disappointed with the service. Not very welcoming, a bit inattentive, and snippy. There was no question after the food was served whether everything was okay. The candle was cleared away without comment to be refilled. A menu change: salmon trout to salmon was not communicated. Unfriendly instructions to colleagues in front of guests. Little things that make a difference and are very important to ME. The food was delicious; if I had been asked, I would certainly have been happy to offer suggestions for improvement. 💁🏼‍♀️ The lack of response to a tip of over 10% despite mediocre service made me sad.

The view of the location is undoubtedly very pleasant. However, the road there leaves a lot to be desired. The potholes on the so-called roadway make it difficult to get there, especially if you use a walking frame or walker. It would definitely make the experience a lot more pleasant. Unfortunately, we weren't particularly lucky with our choice of dish. The plaice we chose had very little edible substance. With such a small and flat fish, there's not much left over, especially since you lose your appetite while picking out the bones, starting on the plate and then leaving your mouth.

Great ambiance and great service (apart from one minor niggle). It was worth it. The four fish dishes we had were all nothing special, and I think I could do better at home. There's still room for improvement.

My family and I were there for the first time yesterday, and we were absolutely thrilled. Attentive staff, friendly service, and excellent cuisine. I highly recommend it to any fish lover. The food, including the fish (I had a whole rainbow trout), was beautifully presented. But there's also something for those who don't like fish, as the menu so sweetly states. The ambiance is truly beautifully decorated, and the adjacent pond is home to fat mirror carp. You can even feed them!!! How awesome is that! My brother and I were very impressed. For one euro, you can buy the special carp food at the counter. We will definitely be back and are really looking forward to it. A big compliment to the entire team. Keep up the great work!

We visited here for lunch for the first time today and were pleasantly surprised. The fish dishes were freshly prepared, and for those who don't like fish, there was a fried steak. The service was very attentive and friendly. The great atmosphere invites you to linger. We'll definitely be back, as we often travel through Gardelegen; the 110 km drive was totally worth it.

A very well-maintained establishment, rustically clean, with a good menu. But then: The waitress behind the counter tells me I'm having trouble opening the door with my walking stick. She arrives at a brisk pace and wants to help. Great, I'll give this place five stars, then I continue into the restaurant. I encounter the next waiter, who stops and remains silent. After I've also remained silent for a short while, I say to him, "Just walk past, you're faster than me, please." But he explains to me that almost every table is reserved and shows me two darker corners where I can still sit. It's 3:30 p.m., and besides me, only two tables are occupied. I don't know how the rudeness could be topped; I had imagined this visit to be different.

Two years ago there were eight of us and I have to say it was a very good party and the food was delicious 😋 but it's sad there's just too little choice of food no soups apart from tomato soup none at the beginning of 2025 I ate fried potatoes with smoked trout unfortunately I had to look for the fried potatoes at first I thought they had forgotten the fried potatoes no under the fish but only three small potatoes 🥔 🥔 🥔 that was probably the rest today it wasn't any better and overpriced once and never again

We didn't have a reservation and still got a seat, even though it was very busy. The food was delicious. We'd love to come back.

Hello everyone, if you're looking for a great fishing opportunity, we highly recommend the Forellenhof. The facility is not only impeccably maintained, but also offers a wonderful atmosphere for anglers. Whether at the day pond or the kilo pond, we consistently pull impressive rainbow and salmon trout out of the water. A very nice fish restaurant with a cozy, rustic interior, a large outdoor area, and a small playground for children! The service was very friendly, prompt, and attentive. We had three of the salmon trout with tagliatelle and one of the salad with various fish fillets. The food was delicious, the fish crispy on the outside and beautifully juicy on the inside! Since the fish platter is only available by reservation (on holidays and weekends—we were there on a Saturday), we will definitely come back. Of course, there's also something on the menu for those who don't like fish! So, everyone out there... If you enjoy fish and appreciate a nice atmosphere, then this is your restaurant. It's worth driving a few extra kilometers 😁

A very delicious 😋 meal here. We were there on Pentecost and didn't have a reservation, but they managed to get us a table. That's what you call service. The staff were all friendly.

A very nice restaurant in a picturesque location. In addition to fish dishes, the menu also offers meat dishes, delicious appetizers, and desserts. Portions are quite large, and the food is beautifully presented. The wines were delicious; my non-alcoholic Aperol Spritz was simply fantastic. The grounds are ideal for lovely walks and also offer a small playground for younger guests. A special highlight is definitely the fish feeding. You can buy delicious fish to take home. I would love to go there again.

Unfortunately, there was no food available for us. We should have made a reservation. There was nothing available for two people, not even outside, where everything was available...a shame...but we'll try again.

Food was good for everyone but I'm very undemanding and don't eat sauce because I thought if I took my salmon without pasta with lobster cream sauce I wouldn't get any sauce Unfortunately my salmon and fried potatoes were drowned in lobster cream sauce I couldn't eat it but the other 5 who had a similar dish loved it.

Discovered while passing through and was pleasantly surprised. The prices are pleasant, you can hardly find anything like this anymore. Nice service and very well-kept grounds. The toilets are a bit small for this big house. We would be happy to come back and recommend and recommend it to others.

Hello, if you are looking for a good restaurant in Gardelegen and the surrounding area that focuses on fish, you will be well served at “Fischerhof Gahrns” in Gardelegen. The atmosphere is rustic and you can enjoy your meal on two levels. The staff is polite and accommodating, but you should reserve a table in good time as this restaurant is very busy. In addition to the dishes suggested in the menu, there are also current daily specials. My wife had salmon stuffed with spinach, shrimp and feta gratinated, I had fried trout "Müllerin style" and a seaweed salad as a starter. All in all, hungry for good fish, then off to the Fischerhof Gahrns.

Positive: First of all, you have to say that the restaurant is beautiful. We felt comfortable there. Secondly, the waitress was entertaining and chatted a lot about the “Paulaner Garden”. Thirdly, the food tasted good. Negative: For a soup or fish solyanka (no starter according to the menu) €6.50 was okay at first. But...and what I found really sad was the small cup in which the fish solyanka was served and then the fact that I paid €7.50 instead of €6.50...! Secondly...and you can look at this however you want, but I actually assume that the staff who collect the money should do their job properly. Here it was like this: First we discuss everything we ate and then we trustingly pay the amount mentioned. I only received a receipt after requesting it. And that's where the rub lies. I got my receipt, had already paid and since we were busy chatting, I just pocketed the receipt...in confidence and without checking again! The end of the story was that I paid for a salad on the receipt that I neither ordered nor ate! Unfortunately I was at home when I saw this and it's a bit far to go to come back. I see the whole thing as an oversight. But as we all know, the fun ends with money. Nevertheless, I can recommend the restaurant and use my experience to make other guests aware of the need to be careful.

Wir waren am Valentinstag dort. Es gab nur ein 3-gänge-menü, welches dem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis überhaupt nicht entsprach. Eine a la Carte Auswahl war nicht möglich - was wir unverschämt fanden. Das Ambiente ist schön, aber darauf kann man sich nicht ausruhen... für uns ein Flop!

Valentinstag- Ohne Informationen gab es nur ein 3-Gänge Menue für überteuerte 35,90€. Das Essen war sehr dürftig. Vorspeise und Hauptgericht waren nur lauwarm. Der im Hofladen verkaufte geräucherte Fisch wurde ohne Rechnung "schwarz" verkauft. Nie wieder diese Gaststätte.

Im Vergleich zu vor ein paar Jahren stimmt das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis hier einfach nicht mehr…. Man findet so gut wie kein Gemüse mehr auf der Karte. Nur die Preise steigen… wir sind total enttäuscht… hier gehts nur noch um ‚Abfertigung‘ … satt sind wir auch nicht geworden trotz 3-Gänge-Menü… sehr enttäuschend.

On all of our visits to Gahrns, the food was always excellent. The mashed potatoes in particular taste like home and are incredibly tasty and delicious. The quality of the fish is outstanding and of the best quality. The staff is always in a good mood and very accommodating. A visit to Gahrns is always a pleasure and I can 100% recommend this place. Feeding the fish in the water is a great experience, especially for children.
