Overall it was a very positive experience! The service could be a little quicker and people could stop by the tables more often, but the food makes up for it. Everything tastes really great, and the focus is clearly on fresh ingredients without artificial flavor enhancers - you'll definitely go home full and with a clear conscience. The selection is huge and offers something for everyone: various meat dishes, seafood and also delicious vegetarian options. Despite the somewhat outdated furnishings, there is a very cozy atmosphere that invites you to linger. It is absolutely recommended for a spontaneous dinner – everything was clean. A small disadvantage: only cash payment is accepted and the starters are a bit expensive in comparison.

The staff are super friendly. The food is delicious and MSG-free. The food tastes authentic! Definitely recommendable. Only the location makes sitting outside a bit unpleasant.

I was the only guest to eat a pasta dish with chicken in the evening. I could have had soup, there was nothing else. When asked, the restaurant was still open. The pasta was overcooked and there was a floret of broccoli. There was also an egg mixed in, even though I specifically only wanted pasta with chicken. The taste of the dish was musty and the atmosphere in the sparsely furnished restaurant was extremely bleak. The service was just as musty as the noodles. €12.50 just for the pasta dish is not appropriate. I will never come here again.

If you like Thai food, this is the place for you. The dishes are fresh and delicious and, according to Pik Thai, are prepared without the use of glutamate. A little tip for everyone who likes it authentic, there is an additional menu that offers just such authentic dishes. Only recommended!

Just find another place to enjoy. The food quality and service is terrible. Besides, they claimed that their credit card machine is broken :)

Reminded me of my times in Thailand. The food was very close to what I had in Thailand. Next time I’ll make sure to ask for more spicy. Had to wait for 20 minutes for the order to arrive but there was a big group who came before me and had already places the order so it’s all good. The restaurant is run by real Thais! :) That was quite reassuring when we walked in. The whole restaurant only had one server so the service might be a bit slow but the food was worth the wait! Really authentic (if you ask for it and if you can handle the spice!). I highly recommend Pad Krapow! A word of warning - the portion is huge :-)

Authentic food, in the middle of Cologne. We discovered it spontaneously because the line at the Bowl Maker Society was too long. Price wise still within reason.

The food is good. It’s pretty much the same like all the other Thai food restaurants in Cologne. I was a bit thrown back by the high prices. Here it says prices are between 10-20€ per dish. But you will pay 10,50 for vegetarian dishes and the rest starts with 12,50. Side dishes are of course less than 10 but the rest is over 10. Together with a drink you will definitely pay 20€ on average here. It is a bit pricey. I got one of the duck dishes. The veggies are very nice, sauce and rice as well. There is no “meat” tho, or it was too much baked or something like that. I felt like eating crunchy duck skin. The taste was good but I was expecting a bit more meat on the pieces, it was just skin. It’s not at all as spicy as it says. Most people will not feel the spice I would argue 🤭 other than that everything was fine, just a bit pricey. I payed 14,50 for a duck meat dish.

Food took a long time and wasn't that great. Also the ambient music was almost unbearable after the long wait. Can't recommend unfortunately.

Great Thai restaurant near Neumarkt. The service was very friendly and accommodating, which made the visit particularly pleasant. The menu offers three levels of spiciness, and you can even order your dish extremely spicy if you wish. The ingredients were fresh and the food was very tasty. There is also outdoor seating. At the end of our meal we were offered free watermelon slices for dessert on the grounds that the restaurant wants all guests to be happy. A very nice gesture! I can highly recommend this restaurant.

Not recommended, especially if you have children! The service is super unfriendly, you ask how long it will take and she says: I don't know, I'm not the cook (but you can ask?!) I ordered peanut sauce and got sweet and sour sauce instead. When asked, she said that what I ordered didn't have peanut sauce. I then showed her the dish on the menu and despite that she didn't apologize or anything and said it wouldn't taste good with peanut sauce. My 2 year old child was playing at the window and she told my child several times not to touch the window, it was so rude. So there is no such thing as customer is king here. Never honest again!

Super tasty food, you can immediately see that effort was put into the individual ingredients. The carrots alone came in more than 3 different shapes/cuts. The sweet and sour sauce was definitely homemade, it didn't taste like the usual store-bought ones. Service was excellent, drinks and food orders were taken and delivered quickly, the ashtray was emptied straight away. Gladly again if you are in Cologne.

I had ordered nuea pad ped but I have never received such a small portion before, 4 pieces of beef, a few beans etc and a small portion of rice for 15 euros, just a rip off first and last time. not recommended this store

Today a colleague picked up 3x Phad Thai. Waiting time 1 hour because the tables were initially supplied in-house. As an apology, a glass of cola...really great. Portion was more of a starter size and for 11.90, although 7% outside the house. Absolute impudence. With all understanding, there are others on the market who offer good quality at fair prices. I like this Thai restaurant. No matter whether it's a lunch break with colleagues or an evening with a friend. It has a rustic charm but is clean and welcoming. The food is extremely tasty and visually a feast. The prices are absolutely reasonable. I also like the sometimes rude but basically really nice service. I like to be persuaded to drink Thai beer instead of Kölsch or ginger tea instead of apple spritzer. The mint tea today was also divine. I'm already looking forward to the next visit.

Nach meinem ersten Besuch bin ich positiv überrascht. Die Portionen sind angemessen und machen angenehm Satt. Der Service ist zwar nicht der schnellste aber das Restaurant ist nicht so groß. Wer auf heißen Kohlen sitzt sollte evtl woanders hingehen aber ich werde wiederkommen!

Wir waren heute Abend bereits gegen 17.30 im Thai pik, wir wurden freundlich empfangen und bedient, das Essen war wirklich lecker und vergleichsweise preiswert. das Ambiente ist ok, modern eingerichtet, könnte etwas gemütlicher sein. Wir würden wieder kommen wenn wir mal wieder in Köln sind und können dieses Restaurant empfehlen.

Das Essen war ganz in Ordnung und das Ambiente schön. Die Dame auch sehr freundlich, aber sie scheint sehr pauschal zu sagen (auch zu anderen), dass das Essen to-go nur 10Min dauert, bis man es mitnehmen kann. Nach einer halben Stunde war ich dann schon echt genervt. Schade. Ehrlichkeit siegt!

Super frisches Essen mit schneller Bedienung. Sehr lecker, alles aufgegessen. Für 2 Hauptgerichte und 2 Biere zahltem wir 35€ bezahlt. Toilette ist sauber und frisch renoviert. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

We were here for dinner, we ordered 3 starters and 3 main courses. For starters, not only did they forget 1 of them, they also brought out the 2 starters they remembered with a solid 10 minute delay from the first to the second. Therefore the first starter got cold before the other one arrived... For the main course, we ordered Pad Thai with beef. When the dish arrived it was with chicken... Also a pretty tasteless meal. The waitress and presumably the owner sat in the restaurant drinking wine, in our 1.5 hours there they probably drank 1.5 bottles of wine...

Bei Bestellung wurde mir mitgeteilt es würde 15 Minuten dauern. Habe dann nach 30 Minuten immer nachfragen müssen und mein Essen schließlich nach 50 Minuten bekommen. Die Bedienung war sichtlich überfordert. Essen war durchschnittlich aber nichts besonderes.

What wonderful fresh Thai food. I went with 3 friends again this year after remembering how good it was last year. It was worth the wait for them to make the food fresh to order. As a non-chain small business this is super TOP! I am picky but my friends are more so and often make Thai at home. They were thrilled and complimentary about everything. You can’t go wrong choosing this place! Go enjoy!!!

Absolute scam of a place - would give 0 stars if possible. Charged us 1 euro for charging my phone, and my phone didn’t even charge the way she put it. Food prices in menu are old so they’ll charge you more for the food as well. SCAM. AVOID.

Das positive zuerst. Die Frühlingsrollen zuerst waren wirklich lecker. Das Essen wurde schnell gebracht. Aber die Hauptspeise war fast schon ungenießbar. Ich habe gebratene Reisnudeln mit Rind bestellt. Es waren wirklich nur 4 Stückchen Rind drin , die Portion war sowieso schon sehr klein. Die Nudeln zerkocht und die saure Soße hat überhaupt nicht zu gepasst. Ich denke das hat auch die Bedienung gemerkt. Das kann mal passieren. Ich finde es trotzdem gut, dass ohne Glutamat gekocht wird.

Nettes Restaurant und gutes Essen

Die vegetarischen Frühlingsrollen waren wunderbar knusprig und wohlschmeckend. Mein vegetarisches Gemüse frisch, bissfest und mit Möhren, Brokkoli, Blumenkohl, Gurke und frischen Sojasprossen eine ausgewogene Mischung, dazu Reis und eine Dafür 5 Sterne. Meine Begleitung aß ein Nudelgericht und empfang die Nudeln als zu weich und nicht lecker. Der Service war aufmerksam und schnell. Es fehlte die Nachfrage, wie es geschmeckt hat. Für einen Thai Imbiss sehr zu empfehlen - als Restaurant, um gemütlich einen Abend zu verbringen, wäre es mir zu schlicht, im Ambiente inkl. Besteck, Tische und Stühle.

Me and my partner. While walking around we came across this thai and inmidiatly wanted to try it out. We ordered a thai tea which was really nice i enjoyed it. For the main dish we got the Kaoh Pad. And some summer rolls. The dish came very close to the one we tried out in thailand itself. So we're very satisfied. Staff was friendly real thai. It was our first time eating here.

Hier wird Glutamatfrei gekocht. Das ist schon mal ein ganz klarer Vorteil von dem Laden. Das Essen hier muss sich trotzdem keineswegs verstecken. Alles schmeckt sehr lecker und es entsteht keinesfalls das Gefühl, dass man in einem gehobenen 'China - Imbiss' sitzt. Die Preise sind hier total fair und die Bedienung sehr nett. --> Meiner Meinung nach, einer der besten Thailänder weit und breit!

Das Essen war sehr gut, die Preise günstig für die Innenstadt, aber es gab keinen Cappuccino, obwohl er auf der Karte stand. Nette Bedienung.

Heute das erste Mal getestet. Die Ente war sensationell.

Das Restaurant ist wirklich nicht zu empfehlen. Die Personal ist sehr unfreundlich und unprofessionell. Das Essen war kalt und nicht frisch gewesen.

Es gibt eine große auswahl an leckeren Gerichten, zudem ist dieses Lokal sehr sauber und man bekommt die Gerichte sehr schnell an den Tisch.

Papayasalat und die frittierten Hähnchen waren super lecker. Leider wurden unsere Hauptspeisen vergessen, so dass wir hungrig das Lokal verlassen haben. Die junge Kellnerin war leicht überfordert, aber sehr süß und freundlich. :) Alles in allem haben wir den Besuch nicht bereut :)

Personal total überfordert, mehr als 40 Minuten Wartezeit für die Getränke, zwischenzeitlich wird nochmal gefragt, was man bestellt hat. Als das Essen kam die nächste Enttäuschung - die 35, das Pad Kra Pao hat mit dem thailändischen Original nichts zu tun. Wir waren erst noch vor wenigen Tagen in Thailand und können das sehr gut einschätzen. Schade!

Super lecker, wie im Thailand Urlaub!

Plakativ wird geworben, dass das Essen ohne Glutamate gekocht wird. Dies kann ich zu 100% bestätigen, da ich selbst koche schmecke ich den unterschied. Richtig authentisch- wo gibts sowas noch? Und das in der City! Genügend Plätze draußen vorhanden, Sauberkeit top, Nettigkeit vorhanden, preis Leistung ist gegeben.
