We only had drinks here. I wondered if the server was on strong tranquilizers. She mumbled very quietly and sometimes stared blankly into space.

No filter coffee, even though it's listed on the menu. Apple pie (which looked like a frozen/microwaved pie) The coffee was empty, and there was no sign of the "pie." That definitely wasn't a pie. I'm appalled.

A very nice restaurant, with indoor and outdoor seating and a terrace. Overlooking the harbor and the Baltic Sea. Everything is clean and tidy, with pleasant, friendly staff. There's a very good selection of food and drinks; we had a wonderful time here. And yes, it can take a little longer with a waitress here and there, but we're on vacation, not on the run. The only complaint about the Camembert was that the outside was too thick and hard. A lovely destination; we highly recommend it. 😀👍👍👍

The location is very nice. Right on the harbor with a fantastic view. We actually wanted to have a drink and a bite to eat there. However, we left because the service tends to pick up the pace when we're slow.

The first thing I noticed was the sign saying dogs are welcome. We received friendly and courteous service. The waffle and hot chocolate were delicious. The price/performance ratio for the location was absolutely reasonable. We'd be happy to come back.

Despite the construction fence, the view from the terrace was quite beautiful, overlooking the Baltic Sea. The very young waitress's displeasure was clearly visible on her face. When we ordered drinks for six people, she didn't even take one of them. Even while serving, she didn't notice that one person hadn't received a drink. When we paid and pointed it out, she wasn't even bothered. So, poor and unfriendly service – we won't be back.

Absolutely lousy place. The waitress (short, brown hair in a ponytail, and pale) is really unfriendly, really unfriendly. She's either having a bad day or she's going to jump off a bridge today. How can anyone be so unfriendly? She only takes half of your order. If you speak to her properly, she's not interested at all. Never again!!!

I was a guest many years ago, and it was delicious today, just as it was then. Highly recommended, even if it's a bit of a hassle to get there these days. But the trip was worth it; the warm apple pie was simply delicious and lovingly presented. My child loved it too; ice cream sundaes are always a hit 😊. I'd love to come back next time.

We took a trip to Sassnitz yesterday and ended up at Pier 13. A pleasant atmosphere both inside and out, friendly service, and delicious cakes. Definitely recommended.

The café from the TV series "Praxis mit Meerblick." Unfortunately, it was closed when I was there.

Unfortunately, my visit to Pier 13 today didn't go as planned. The quality of the food didn't meet my expectations, especially the fried potatoes weren't cooked properly. The cleanliness of the restaurant also left a lot to be desired. This is very unfortunate. The service, however, was very friendly.

You can eat anything here without hesitation. Everything is simply delicious, whether sweet or savory. There's something for everyone. And the view is simply stunning. No matter the weather, it's always beautiful. Every weather condition has something beautiful here.😍👍

Great location, nice restaurant, but I don't understand why you can't have whipped cream on an ice cream sundae (€10.90) but you can have it on cake or hot chocolate. A pot of coffee (€3) isn't possible either, but you can have a café crema, the same size but for €3.80. Very complicated and inconvenient. Service is different. Positive: Dog-friendly

We were there with our dog! It was raining, but having the dog with us wasn't a problem! We had warm apple pie with ice cream and whipped cream! It was delicious! If we ever find ourselves on Rügen again, we would definitely come back!

Friendliness, warmth, authenticity, atmosphere, view, choice of food, cleanliness, taste, quality, price. We had nothing to complain about. We get around a lot and something is always wrong, but here it was finally PERFECT! 🙏🙏 The burger and chips are outstanding. Our dog also got a water bowl before we could even ask. We will definitely come back again and again. It's nice that something like this exists, especially on Rügen. 😀 100% recommendation and thank you for the lovely cozy evening at Pier13 🌷. Warm greetings from Düsseldorf PS: In my opinion there are There is no fish on the menu, but there is plenty of it elsewhere on the island. So if you don't want fish, this is the place for you! PPS: Absolutely NO drawback for us, but it should be mentioned that there is no table service here. You get the drinks directly when you order at the entrance and receive a beeper that notifies you when the food is ready to be picked up at the counter. This system is also known from larger catering chains such as "Vapiano".

Ordered 2 x farmer’s breakfast. It was very crowded so it took a while. Service was nice, but the food was not. Fried potatoes were barely fried and the omelette was so greasy that it was almost impossible to eat. I also mentioned it at the counter and was probably aware of it, but apparently they don't change it. well.. then not anymore 🤷🏼‍♀️

Yesterday we had dinner with four people in Sassnitz at Pier 13. Pier 13 is a small restaurant that is located directly at the harbor of Sassnitz on the way to the pier/lighthouse with a great view. The restaurant is modernly furnished and impresses with the great view, which can be enjoyed from almost every seat thanks to the location and the large window front. Unfortunately the sun terrace (1st floor) was still closed. The opening times outside of the high season (closes at 5 p.m.!) are also somewhat unusual, which is why you should find out more before visiting. We ordered a mineral water (0.5 l), a raspberry water and two hot chocolates. Overall, the drinks were presented without pizzazz and in normal "standard" terms. The main meals of baked potatoes with salad, fried potatoes with egg and the burger “The Coastal Cow” were freshly prepared in the open kitchen. The food was very tasty, the burger in particular is highly recommended. To my taste, the fried potatoes were a bit oily and the salad with the baked potato was a bit watery. But these two dishes were otherwise not objectionable, but still led to us deducting a star. We get good food here with a medium cost of goods, but overall it was prepared well to very well (burgers and fries). The service was very friendly and repeated the order after taking the order to avoid any mix-ups. This is not self-evident (why not?) and has been noticed positively. The dishes arrived fresh at the table with only a short waiting time, only the presentation of the dishes (arrangement on the plate) was a bit sober. We cannot blame this on the service, which is why we give it five stars. The ambience always includes an assessment of the overall impression. The furnishings, which had some attention to detail, could only be seen selectively, as the other part had more of a bar character. There was a lack of courage to expand either one or the other to the entire premises. Unfortunately, the only urinal in the men's toilet was broken (as it was on the first visit three months ago) and the hand drying options with the Dyson airflow are not our cup of tea. Even though everyone can rate this differently, we deducted one star for this overall. In total we paid 78 euros with tip money, which is now an average price. The parking fee in the nearby parking garage was significantly excessive at 6 euros. Overall, Pier 13 is recommended for anyone who wants to stroll along the Sassnitz promenade, visit the harbor or walk to the lighthouse to satisfy their hunger with a beautiful view.

Unfortunately the food isn't that great. The fish platter shouldn't be called that, but rather "canned fish combo". But to ask for as much money as if there were cod, zander and halibut on it is unfortunately an impertinence. The service is good, staff shortage like everywhere else. Very positive: the view is magnificent.

A cafe where delicious cakes and tarts are served with a beautiful view of the Baltic Sea. The coffee also tastes very good. The staff is really very friendly and loves children. You can really feel comfortable here.

Stopped by spontaneously and was immediately impressed by the atmosphere... The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the burgers were delicious and the portions were large and filling. The side dishes are also highly recommended; we took the food with us and it was still warm despite the walk We would love to come back 👌

Cute little restaurant on the pier. Looks like a modern ship from the outside. Very inviting with a great view of the sea. The food on site is very tasty and has a great price-performance ratio. The two hosts were very friendly and helpful.

We only had a hot drink. We sat outside in a beach chair in a very stiff breeze and had a great view and a nice experience. The service was very friendly.

We went there for dinner with our children and ate all the schnitzels. The food was okay, the service too. But anyone expecting fine culinary skills could be disappointed.

Hier kann man in entspannter Atmosphäre und direkt an der Küste seinen Kaffee, Tee, Eis/Eiskaffee genießen. Ob drinnen oder draußen, alles super. Wer das Flair eines Strandkorbs mag, ist hier auch richtig.

Recommended for a short or longer stop after a stroll in the harbor. There are also delicious 😋 homemade cakes. Dogs were also very welcome. The view of the water is always calming, but unfortunately we couldn't really enjoy it because it was very stormy. Staff was very friendly. We also found out that filming for the series "Practice with a Sea View" will take place between September 5th - 7th, 2024, the crew always needs extras ☺️

At Pier13 we were able to eat on the outdoor terrace in the evening. We thought the occasional beach chairs at the tables were great. Overall, nice atmosphere there, wonderful view, friendly service. The successful marinades of the salads and pickled fish were positive about the food, while the side dishes were rather sober. Portion sizes are more for small appetites, but sufficient.

Enjoy a non-alcoholic cocktail in the sun in the afternoon, what more could you want. The service was also nice.

Years ago this was a very good café where you could have a great breakfast. Now only for young people who don't mind the loud transmission of Italian music and the chatter in Italian. Unfortunately, nice service doesn't make up for it...

Unfortunately the food was very disappointing. We had the Röstitaler and spiced meat, very small portions for a lot of money and poor quality. View is great. Recommended for a drink, unfortunately not for eating out.

Insanely expensive for relatively small portions. It also doesn't invite you to linger. I didn't find it very inviting and completely overpriced. Hungry tourists are milked here. But the taste was okay.

There is a star deduction because the food wasn't really seasoned. But that depends on individual taste. Still, it was a little too little. We were here on a Sunday evening and first checked whether it was open (not a single guest). Therefore we had free choice of table ;-) and enjoyed our meal. Not exactly cheap but still worth recommending. If you like cheddar, you should try this one.

Nice Italian? Local directly on the pier. Views of the water or the harbor. Small terrace. Various fish and meat dishes. For a café, however, only 3 types of cake/tart. Everything was very tasty and tasty. Beer at 5.50 half liters is also the most expensive I've ever drunk.

The dishes were delicious and attractively garnished. The salad with chicken breast is highly recommended, although there was very little fish on the fish platter, but it was still tasty. The waiter was super friendly. Sitting by the water, listening to the waves and dining is always great.
