We were here yesterday, and I have to honestly say this was one of the best restaurants I've ever visited. The customer service was excellent; our waitress was super nice and helpful; the restaurant itself was also great to look at. The food was excellent and truly delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who's vacationing nearby.

The food was delicious! The lumberjack steak was cooked to perfection, and everything was well seasoned. The burger was also very juicy and delicious. Both restaurant staff were very friendly and chatty.

We ate at the restaurant last night with four adults and four children. The food was fantastic! Everything was freshly prepared and delicious. We received excellent service and were well looked after. Thank you for the lovely evening!

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you so much for the wonderful break my daughter and I had with you. The rooms are very well-maintained and thoroughly clean, and equipped with everything you could need. The staff is very friendly; the manager received a hug from my daughter as we left, a huge compliment. The food in the restaurant was delicious, and the breakfast left nothing to be desired. Located in the middle of the national park, it's very quiet and perfect for being in nature. We'll be back as soon as possible.

We visited the Baumhaus restaurant in Sassnitz with a large group and several children. Despite the busy schedule, the service team was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and well-organized. The child-friendly atmosphere was particularly noteworthy – toys were immediately provided for the little ones, which made the stay very relaxing for everyone. The food was consistently excellent – fresh, delicious, and lovingly prepared. A highlight were the giant cream puffs, which were not only visually impressive but also delicious. An all-round successful visit – we can wholeheartedly recommend the Baumhaus and will definitely be back!

We stopped in after a hike and ordered three drinks and a cream puff! We also asked for a parasol to be opened! This was refused, citing the wind! But it was windless! The waiter stepped on my friend's toes, explaining it was only because she wasn't sitting properly at the table! A question about the food was answered with: Look at the menu! Since we were sitting in the blazing sun, we asked again for the parasol to be opened! This was refused with the words: You didn't have to sit down! We decided not to have the cream puff, wanted to have the drink, and leave! Whereup the waiter "collected" the drinks again and asked us to leave! I'm still stunned!

We only ate in the restaurant. The food was good and delicious. Good value for money. The location was superb.

We stopped by for dinner at short notice. The decor is very cozy, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The menu leaves nothing to be desired. We had venison and steak, and everything was cooked to perfection and tasted simply delicious. The portions are generous, and the cream puff at the end is simply unbeatable. We'd be happy to come back.

Update: We went back for dinner and were very impressed!!! Special requests/changes in side dishes were no problem, and communication was as if we were friends. We went there to eat. I've been a vegetarian for 5 years and have eaten many veggie burgers, but the one at the treehouse was the best, the best, and the best of all🥳🥳.

We were only there for dinner. The three stars are for the friendly service and the setting. Unfortunately, the food was completely off. The venison roast for €25 (€22 last year) consisted of a very large portion of red cabbage, very little meat, two Maggi dumplings, and a flavorless roux sauce. Plus, you have to pay more for a beer here in the forest than on the spa promenade in Binz! Absolutely unacceptable!

I ate here with my girlfriend. We had the roast venison, which was very tasty. Afterwards my girlfriend had the homemade plum cake and I had the huge homemade cream puff with cream, banana, eggnog and chocolate ice cream. It was awesome. The service was very friendly.

The food is simply gigantic. The homemade cream puffs are heavenly. The male service is excellent so the lady in the group can take an example. Highly recommended.

Really everything is absolutely great! Service, food, ambience. Easy to reach and really rustic atmosphere. I was there with my girlfriend and parents and even my father, who is always very picky and suspicious, was absolutely thrilled. Guys... No joke... If you're there and haven't had lunch yet or it's already approaching evening... go there. Everyone is very nice and even dogs are warmly welcomed. (My personal opinion: No small cats that are too big please, because that just disturbs the atmosphere) 😅 Oh, before I forget... The prices are absolutely ok for this quality! So please no whining. Great, great, great! Oh yeah... The giant cream puffs are really yummy🤤🤤 and not as fattening as they might look🙃

Very nice place to sit and friendly service. The windbeutel is apparently the specialty there and these were also very tasty. You can choose from different fillings. The latte machiatto was also very tasty.

The Giant Cream Puff sign brought us to this restaurant. A cream puff for just under 10 euros with a scoop of ice cream and we also had a banana with us. It tasted good but I think 10 euros is too much. The lunch specials are OK.

I arrived by bike and wanted to outshine my e-bike because of the battery. The boss comes out and sees me Apparently I had positioned myself about 40 cm in front of a guest window that was on the lower ground floor. Because there were large, long flower boxes in front of these windows. I parked in front of the flower boxes so that the windows wouldn't be covered. The passage was still clear and there weren't many guests there. Instead of coming and talking to me like a normal, civilized person, the man shouted across the entire guest area that there were windows there. He also made an arrogant hand gesture with his fingers, saying “get out of there”. Disgusting. I still gave him a chance and asked if he had a shady spot. The man then said in the same disgusting gesture and manner: “There is no shade here - so go to the other side.” The whole Arial is quite large, not a small garden restaurant. There would definitely have been a place... Disgusted, wordless and shaking my head, I got on my bike and rode away again. I have been holidaying on Rügen for a long time and know and speak to many locals. Many complaints about the behavior of holidaymakers, which is getting worse and worse. And I agree with you and as a Berliner I can understand that because we too are being treated worse and worse by tourists. But there are also local institutions and people who exhibit antisocial behavior. Bark at - bark at - bark at... And always walk around with a face like after the Second World War... 🤮🤮🤮

We had dinner here. There were fries with a Wienerschnitzel, it was a very large portion and it tasted very good. Which wasn't good... We missed the first entrance and the second one was just very narrow and in the intersection area.

We had to leave the bus here because in the evening it didn't go to Hagen but to Sassnitz. So we decided to have dinner here - and it was really the best decision! Great ambience, excellent cuisine and very nice lady serving. An all-round enjoyment!

We are completely satisfied. Very friendly staff, dogs are welcome and accepted in a friendly manner. The food is very tasty and the portions are completely sufficient. We were in the restaurant here, which we personally really liked. A rustic atmosphere, but not too overwhelming. We can definitely recommend it.

It was a tip from our neighbors who we met on vacation. It's a little out of the way, but the detour was worth it. The cream puffs turned out to be a sensation.

Popped in there this afternoon for coffee and food, which was generally ok, but upon returning our car was scratched in the parking lot. Extremely aggressive gesture, expensive and not nice to experience like that on vacation. I can't explain how something like this could happen because the restaurant is so alone and the parking lot is off the street. I hope for the owner that something like this doesn't happen to his other guests in the future and that a camera is installed if necessary, otherwise you won't come back there despite the beautiful location and unfortunately I can't recommend a visit there

Very good and tasty food is served there. The very nice waiter was very attentive and friendly 👍😊. Unfortunately, the view is very limited by the beech forest. The portion size doesn't match the prices. In other restaurants you get a lot more for your money 💸. All in all, recommended. 👍😊

Hello, this is our first time on Rügen and we immediately had a hit with the hotel. We received a warm welcome, the rooms are very clean and tidy, the owner and the staff are very polite and nice and are always there to help if you have any questions or need any help needs and not to forget the breakfast and the food in the restaurant is good German cuisine with a lot of taste and prepared with love which we can only recommend we will definitely come back to thank the whole team Hotel Baumhaus PS the cream puffs are of course the hammer

Next year will be our 25th year of vacationing in the treehouse. That certainly says it all. We always really enjoy being there. The place in the forest is simply great and you can get everywhere easily from there, both with your own car and by bus. Stop a few meters from the house. Everything was very personal and you felt comfortable there from the first day. The food in the restaurant has always been top notch and very tasty over the years. We always like to come back.

Nach einem Ausflug zum Skywalk sind wir auf dem Rückweg zum Parkplatz zum Baumhaus Hagen abgebogen. Hier haben wir ein kleines Mittagessen eingenommen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, die Atmosphäre war gemütlich und freundlich. Das Essen war preislich in Ordnung und wir wurden zügig bedient. Wir kommen gern wieder für einen kleinen Imbiss.
