After 25 years, I visited the treehouse restaurant again and had a fantastic meal. Game is still their specialty and worth every penny. You should definitely stop by for dinner. The staff are also polite and always at your table if you need anything. I hope we don't have to wait another 25 years for our next visit 🤣.

We stopped there for lunch. Very friendly service, the food was quick, hot, and attractively presented. It was absolutely delicious 😋. We were there again for lunch today. Salmon with horseradish dip and pasta, a fish platter, and hamburger schnitzel with fried potatoes...everything was so incredibly delicious 😋. Thanks to the owner for the wonderful hospitality and thanks to the chef...superb food.

I visited this restaurant four times and was never disappointed. The location is idyllic, and the restaurant exudes a cozy atmosphere. The service is attentive, and my four-legged companion immediately felt at home. The fish dishes are of excellent quality. The homemade cream puffs are unique. This alone makes the visit worthwhile. My conclusion: I'll be back next year!

Treehouse near Hagen - Rügen... We need to talk. In the middle of Jasmund National Park, between Sassnitz and Lohme, stands this house – half restaurant, half retreat. Not a place for a quick thirst, not a tourist snack bar with plastic cutlery, but a place to unwind. To breathe. To eat. Inside, it smells of wood, of autumn, of the coast. Hand-painted pictures of Rügen hang on the walls, the forest rustles outside, and soft music plays inside. The light is warm, the atmosphere even warmer. A place that doesn't try to please, but rather is simple. The menu seems chaotic at first glance – solyanka next to burgers, potato pancakes next to salmon. You don't expect anything whole, but you get exactly that: a culinary whole. The solyanka – an homage to the old GDR days, rounded in flavor, with depth and soul. The salad – a vegan dream, fresh, bold, without asceticism. Potato pancakes with salmon – elegant and harmonious. And then the burgers: one with beef, one with salmon. Both top-quality, juicy, and unique. Almost everything is homemade; nothing seems cheap or cobbled together. The kitchen has heart, not just recipes. The buns could be better, but that's high-level criticism. The service: attentive, friendly, and fast – no forced smiles, just genuine hospitality. You feel seen, not served. The prices are fair, almost modest for what you get. The treehouse near Hagen isn't a random find, but a stroke of luck. We spontaneously stopped there for lunch today. At first glance, you'd think, "We can't expect much here!" BUT WE WERE PROVEN NOTHING! The food was absolutely delicious, the staff super friendly, the dining room uncomfortable. Simply amazing; we'll definitely be back.

The location and the house were great, but we felt completely unwelcome. Hospitality is nowhere to be found here. Despite the beautiful sunshine, there aren't even a few places to sit and have a drink. But just a drink isn't possible anyway, as it's a restaurant... The staff isn't interested in hospitality. But there are enough tourists who bring the money. We moved on and are happy to spend our money elsewhere.

Insider tip: free parking if you want to hike AND CONSUME! Decent food, great cream puffs! The service (presumably the owners) was friendly and accommodating, and the prices were reasonable for the location.

After the long and beautiful hike from Sassnitz to the Königsstuhl, we arrived at the treehouse hungry and thirsty and were immediately in a positive mood, as the idyllic terrace surrounded by the typical Stubbisch woodland offered us a relaxing atmosphere. We ordered from the friendly waitress, and not too long later, our dishes arrived (Hamburger schnitzel, zander fillet, lumberjack steak, and salmon burger). And what can I say, we were overwhelmed by the combination of taste, appearance, and aroma! For dessert, we indulged in the homemade cream puffs and apple strudel, and they were also delicious! We will definitely be back next year!

On our way back from Königsstuhl today, we spontaneously decided to eat at the treehouse. We sat outside, received a very friendly welcome and service, and enjoyed a very good lunch without a long wait. The Wiener schnitzel evoked childhood memories, and the herring and lumberjack steak were also excellent. Kudos to the entire team. We highly recommend it. The customer service was excellent; our waitress was super nice and helpful; the restaurant itself was also great to look at. The food was excellent and truly delicious. The rooms are very well-maintained and thoroughly clean, and equipped with everything you could need. We visited the Baumhaus restaurant in Sassnitz with a large group and several children. Despite the busy schedule, the service team was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and well-organized. The child-friendly atmosphere was particularly noteworthy – toys were immediately provided for the little ones, which made the stay very relaxing for everyone. The food was consistently excellent – fresh, delicious, and lovingly prepared. A highlight were the giant cream puffs, which were not only visually impressive but also delicious. An all-round successful visit – we can wholeheartedly recommend the Baumhaus and will definitely be back!

We stopped in after a hike and ordered three drinks and a cream puff! We also asked for a parasol to be opened! This was refused, citing the wind! But it was windless! The waiter stepped on my friend's toes, explaining it was only because she wasn't sitting properly at the table! A question about the food was answered with: Look at the menu! Since we were sitting in the blazing sun, we asked again for the parasol to be opened! This was refused with the words: You didn't have to sit down! We decided not to have the cream puff, wanted to have the drink, and leave! Whereup the waiter "collected" the drinks again and asked us to leave! I'm still stunned!

We had venison and steak, and everything was cooked to perfection and tasted simply delicious. The portions are generous, and the cream puff at the end is simply unbeatable. We went there to eat. I've been a vegetarian for 5 years and have eaten many veggie burgers, but the one at the treehouse was the best, the best, and the best of all🥳🥳.

We were only there for dinner. The three stars are for the friendly service and the setting. Unfortunately, the food was completely off. The venison roast for €25 (€22 last year) consisted of a very large portion of red cabbage, very little meat, two Maggi dumplings, and a flavorless roux sauce. Plus, you have to pay more for a beer here in the forest than on the spa promenade in Binz! Absolutely unacceptable!

I ate here with my girlfriend. We had the roast venison, which was very tasty. Afterwards my girlfriend had the homemade plum cake and I had the huge homemade cream puff with cream, banana, eggnog and chocolate ice cream. It was awesome. The service was very friendly.

If you're there and haven't had lunch yet or it's already approaching evening... go there. Everyone is very nice and even dogs are warmly welcomed. (My personal opinion: No small cats that are too big please, because that just disturbs the atmosphere) 😅 Oh, before I forget... The prices are absolutely ok for this quality! So please no whining. Great, great, great! Oh yeah... The giant cream puffs are really yummy🤤🤤 and not as fattening as they might look🙃

The Giant Cream Puff sign brought us to this restaurant. A cream puff for just under 10 euros with a scoop of ice cream and we also had a banana with us. It tasted good but I think 10 euros is too much. The lunch specials are OK.

I arrived by bike and wanted to outshine my e-bike because of the battery. The boss comes out and sees me Apparently I had positioned myself about 40 cm in front of a guest window that was on the lower ground floor. Because there were large, long flower boxes in front of these windows. I parked in front of the flower boxes so that the windows wouldn't be covered. The passage was still clear and there weren't many guests there. Instead of coming and talking to me like a normal, civilized person, the man shouted across the entire guest area that there were windows there. He also made an arrogant hand gesture with his fingers, saying “get out of there”. Disgusting. I still gave him a chance and asked if he had a shady spot. The man then said in the same disgusting gesture and manner: “There is no shade here - so go to the other side.” The whole Arial is quite large, not a small garden restaurant. There would definitely have been a place... Disgusted, wordless and shaking my head, I got on my bike and rode away again. I have been holidaying on Rügen for a long time and know and speak to many locals. Many complaints about the behavior of holidaymakers, which is getting worse and worse. And I agree with you and as a Berliner I can understand that because we too are being treated worse and worse by tourists. But there are also local institutions and people who exhibit antisocial behavior. Bark at - bark at - bark at... And always walk around with a face like after the Second World War... 🤮🤮🤮

We had dinner here. There were fries with a Wienerschnitzel, it was a very large portion and it tasted very good. Which wasn't good... We missed the first entrance and the second one was just very narrow and in the intersection area.

It was a tip from our neighbors who we met on vacation. It's a little out of the way, but the detour was worth it. The cream puffs turned out to be a sensation.

Popped in there this afternoon for coffee and food, which was generally ok, but upon returning our car was scratched in the parking lot. Extremely aggressive gesture, expensive and not nice to experience like that on vacation. I can't explain how something like this could happen because the restaurant is so alone and the parking lot is off the street. I hope for the owner that something like this doesn't happen to his other guests in the future and that a camera is installed if necessary, otherwise you won't come back there despite the beautiful location and unfortunately I can't recommend a visit there
