I ate here with my girlfriend. We had the roast venison, which was very tasty. Afterwards my girlfriend had the homemade plum cake and I had the huge homemade cream puff with cream, banana, eggnog and chocolate ice cream. It was awesome. The service was very friendly.

The food is simply gigantic. The homemade cream puffs are heavenly. The male service is excellent so the lady in the group can take an example. Highly recommended.

Really everything is absolutely great! Service, food, ambience. Easy to reach and really rustic atmosphere. I was there with my girlfriend and parents and even my father, who is always very picky and suspicious, was absolutely thrilled. Guys... No joke... If you're there and haven't had lunch yet or it's already approaching evening... go there. Everyone is very nice and even dogs are warmly welcomed. (My personal opinion: No small cats that are too big please, because that just disturbs the atmosphere) 😅 Oh, before I forget... The prices are absolutely ok for this quality! So please no whining. Great, great, great! Oh yeah... The giant cream puffs are really delicious🤤🤤 and not as fattening as they might look🙃

A very cozy restaurant that is not as sterile on the inside as many new or modernized restaurants. The food tasted excellent and we were served very friendly and quickly. Definitely a clear recommendation to go there!

Very nice place to sit and friendly service. The windbeutel is apparently the specialty there and these were also very tasty. You can choose from different fillings. The latte machiatto was also very tasty.

The Giant Cream Puff sign brought us to this restaurant. A cream puff for just under 10 euros with a scoop of ice cream and we also had a banana with us. It tasted good but I think 10 euros is too much. The lunch specials are OK.

Last visit to the restaurant was 6 years ago. Conclusion 2024: Still great. Food great. The location at the national park is perfect. So quiet in the middle of the forest.

I arrived by bike and wanted to outshine my e-bike because of the battery. The boss comes out and sees me Apparently I had positioned myself about 40 cm in front of a guest window that was on the lower ground floor. Because there were large, long flower boxes in front of these windows. I parked in front of the flower boxes so that the windows wouldn't be covered. The passage was still clear and there weren't many guests there. Instead of coming and talking to me like a normal, civilized person, the man shouted across the entire guest area that there were windows there. He also made an arrogant hand gesture with his fingers, saying “get out of there”. Disgusting. I still gave him a chance and asked if he had a shady spot. The man then said in the same disgusting gesture and manner: “There is no shade here - so go to the other side.” The whole Arial is quite large, not a small garden restaurant. There would definitely have been a place... Disgusted, wordless and shaking my head, I got on my bike and rode away again. I have been holidaying on Rügen for a long time and know and speak to many locals. Many complaints about the behavior of holidaymakers, which is getting worse and worse. And I agree with you and as a Berliner I can understand that because we too are being treated worse and worse by tourists. But there are also local institutions and people who exhibit antisocial behavior. Bark at - bark at - bark at... And always walk around with a face like after the Second World War... 🤮🤮🤮

We had dinner here. There were fries with a Wienerschnitzel, it was a very large portion and it tasted very good. Which wasn't good... We missed the first entrance and the second one was just very narrow and in the intersection area.

We had to leave the bus here because in the evening it didn't go to Hagen but to Sassnitz. So we decided to have dinner here - and it was really the best decision! Great ambience, excellent cuisine and very nice lady serving. An all-round enjoyment!

We are completely satisfied. Very friendly staff, dogs are welcome and accepted in a friendly manner. The food is very tasty and the portions are completely sufficient. We were in the restaurant here, which we personally really liked. A rustic atmosphere, but not too overwhelming. We can definitely recommend it.

It was a tip from our neighbors who we met on vacation. It's a little out of the way, but the detour was worth it. The cream puffs turned out to be a sensation.

Popped in there this afternoon for coffee and food, which was generally ok, but upon returning our car was scratched in the parking lot. Extremely aggressive gesture, expensive and not nice to experience like that on vacation. I can't explain how something like this could happen because the restaurant is so alone and the parking lot is off the street. I hope for the owner that something like this doesn't happen to his other guests in the future and that a camera is installed if necessary, otherwise you won't come back there despite the beautiful location and unfortunately I can't recommend a visit there

Very good and tasty food is served there. The very nice waiter was very attentive and friendly 👍😊. Unfortunately, the view is very limited by the beech forest. The portion size doesn't match the prices. In other restaurants you get a lot more for your money 💸. All in all, recommended. 👍😊

Hello, this is our first time on Rügen and we immediately had a hit with the hotel. We received a warm welcome, the rooms are very clean and tidy, the owner and the staff are very polite and nice and are always there to help if you have any questions or need any help needs and not to forget the breakfast and the food in the restaurant is good German cuisine with a lot of taste and prepared with love which we can only recommend we will definitely come back to thank the whole team Hotel Baumhaus PS the cream puffs are of course the hammer

Next year will be our 25th year of vacationing in the treehouse. That certainly says it all. We always really enjoy being there. The place in the forest is simply great and you can get everywhere easily from there, both with your own car and by bus. Stop a few meters from the house. Everything was very personal and you felt comfortable there from the first day. The food in the restaurant has always been top notch and very tasty over the years. We always like to come back.

Nach einem Ausflug zum Skywalk sind wir auf dem Rückweg zum Parkplatz zum Baumhaus Hagen abgebogen. Hier haben wir ein kleines Mittagessen eingenommen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, die Atmosphäre war gemütlich und freundlich. Das Essen war preislich in Ordnung und wir wurden zügig bedient. Wir kommen gern wieder für einen kleinen Imbiss.

Ein romantisch gelegenes Restaurant am Ende des Rundwegs vom Königsstuhl zurück zum Parkplatz Hagen. Es gibt eine Innen- und Außengastronomie, sowie Parkplätze vor dem Restaurant / Hotel. Der Zugang ist barrierefrei und ebenerdig. Die Mitarbeitenden sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Windbeutel sind sehr lecker und in verschiedenen Varianten zu bestellen. Die Preise sind angemessen. Diese Bewertung bezieht sich ausschließlich auf das Restaurant.

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant im Wald, die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und höflich. Sie hatte alles im Blick und leise nicht aufdringlich und doch immer da wenn was am Tisch gefehlt hatte. Wir hatten den Hirschbraten mit Klöße und Rotkraut das war sensationell gut. Sehr zu empfehlen Auch das Hotel.

Frechheit ! Eine halbe Radler für 6€ und eine Saftschorle 0.4L 5.20 -5:80. Der Wanderer aus dem Nationalpark wird mal richtig abgezockt. Ein Tip ! Geht in den Ort Hagen hinein zum Cafe Insel Glück da kostet es die hälfte..

Wie waren hier zum Essen und können es wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Bedienung sehr nett und auf zack, obwohl sehr viel los war. Das Essen ist auch sehr lecker und der Standort ein Traum.

Romantisch gelegen, Sehr leckeres warmes Essen. Riesige selbst gemachte Windbeutel. Ab 11.00 Uhr durchgehende Küche.

Super Lage freundliche Und Flotte Bedienung. Speisen waren wie immer Spitze.

Wir waren nun schon mehrfach dort und immer sehr zufrieden. Essen immer prima. Besonders zu empfehlen ist der Fischteller und das Hamburger Schnitzel. Der Kaffee mit Kuchen (Pflaumenkuchen) zum Abschluss sind ein Muss. Immer stets freundlich und sehr bemüht. Sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Übernachtet haben wir dort noch nicht.

Großartiges Essen. Wir kommen immer wieder gern vorbei und seit unserem ersten mal, vor 15 Jahren, sind wir nie enttäuscht wurden. Leider ist es mit dem Rad nicht so gut zu erreichen aber der kurze Weg über die viel befahren Straße macht das Essen mehrfach wieder gut.

Das Essen ist wirklich sehr lecker! Wir hatten den Kabeljau und eine Ofenkartoffel als Hauptspeise. Einen Pflaumenkuchen vom Blech mit Sahne und Kaffee als Nachtisch. Die Hauptgerichte waren sehr gut und wurden nur noch durch den Kuchen und die sehr aufmerksame und freundliche Bedienung übertroffen! Aus jeden Fall ist das Baumhaus jederzeit einen Stopp wert! (wir waren nur im Restaurant, daher kann ich zu den Zimmern nichts sagen)

Die Lage im Wald ist herrlich (Ruhe, tolle Luft). Umringt von Bäumen sitzt man in einem urigen Restaurant. Man merkt sofort, hier bin ich in einem familiengeführten Hotel/Restaurant. Alle sind sehr herzlich, alles ist nicht mehr nagelneu aber sauber und gepflegt. Leckeres, üppiges Essen zum fairen Preis. Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür. Sehr zu empfehlen für hungrige große und kleine Urlauber!

Nettes, urig-charmantes Gasthaus versteckt im Wald. Sehr freundliche Bedienung, günstige und umfangreiche Kinderkarte. Essen für Kinder als auch Erwachsene sehr lecker und die Portionsgröße war genau richtig. Der Riesenwindbeutel krönte ein gemütliches Abendessen! Wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder!! Weiter so!

Essen ist sehr lecker. Eine absolute Empfehlung.

3-Nächte Wir haben uns was besser Vorgestellt, Essen okay ,aber die Freundlichkeit des Personals lässt zu wünschen übrig. Besonders unfreundlich war die Besitzerin . Zimmerreinigung ständig nur mit ihrem Telefon in der Hand ,bei Fragen nur patzige Antworten, wir haben wohl gestört beim Telefonieren mit einem Mann. Der Inhaber jedenfalls war sehr nett und zu vorkommend. Trotzdem werden wir hier nie wieder noch einmal einkehren.

Waren hier spontan zum Kaffee trinken eingekehrt. Das Lokal/ Restaurant wird etwas rustikal, mit viel Holz und einer gewissen heimeligen Atmosphäre. Der Kaffee war gut und der absolute Knüller waren die Windbeutel, die es dort in vier verschiedenen Variationen gibt. Windbeutel mit Banane und Eierlikör, Windbeutel mit heißen Kirschen, Windbeutel mit Sanddorncreme und Windbeutel mit Beerengrütze. Jeder kostet 7,50€ und ist mal wirklich eine lohnende Abwechslung. Wer nicht viel Wert auf Schnick schnack legt, ist hier richtig. Parken kann man im überigen direkt vor dem Haus, ein unscheinbbarer Weg von der Straße aus führt dort hin.

Went there with friends on holidays - certainly a place worth to visit again and again! And as it is owned by a family that also operates a hotel, it is worth to combine both! Dont forget at the end to leave some space for the Windbeutel - offered in several options, they are all worth to try!
