No longer recommended!! We have been visiting the restaurant for 15 years, but over the past two years we have noticed that it is no longer worth going there... Unfortunately, the service-oriented staff is no longer there. The menu has been minimized and prices maximized significantly. We ordered a table by phone the day before at 3:30 p.m. When we got there in the pouring rain, we found the doors closed. When we asked a smoking waitress why the doors were closed since we had reserved a table, we were looked at with wide eyes and said "no, we don't open until 5 p.m."! There are two different signs at the front with two different opening times, one 3 p.m. and the other 5 p.m., what now? She reacted very rudely when we pointed it out to her and said “if that’s what it takes”… We imagined this afternoon differently; we had the feeling of not being welcome and of being a disruptive factor. Ultimately we looked for another restaurant!

Not recommended! The visit was a failure. We were inspired by the large number of visitors. Unfortunately, we quickly realized that the only reason there were so many people was because you had to wait forever for your order. The waitress didn't know which cake was in stock and even after asking the kitchen I got the wrong information. The sea buckthorn spritz I ordered was completely watered down. The cappuccino didn't deserve the name. This is also available to the visitors at the neighboring table. When they complained, the waitress said the coffee just comes out of the machine! So be warned, visit at your own risk.

Lousy service from the food service manager: -She began to serve drinks that had not been ordered. -when she was told the point at which the meat should be served, she must have gone deaf, she did not listen to what was asked of her and brought the meat at the point she wanted it to be. -when she was told it was not at the right doneness, she started shouting without listening or solving the situation. Sincerely a very bad experience with the attention of this unpresentable person. The best recommendation is not to go to this restaurant

Mala atención de la responsable de organizar el servicio de comidas. Mala educación, soberbia, sin respeto por el cliente: - puso bebidas que no se habían ordenado - no pusieron la carne al punto pedido( se le había explicado 5 veces) y cuando se le comentó, empezó a desvariar, dando voces y sin dejar hablar ni escuchar al cliente, evidentemente no cambió la carne y hubo que decirle como a los locos… que tenia razón. Destacó la falta de educación para estar dando un servicio al cliente por parte de esta responsable. No o recomiendo a nadie. Aparte que varios compañeros que han estado otra veces hayan tenido problemas digestivos después de comer mejillones. En resumidas cuentas, una pésima comida con un peor servicio.

What a nice place to eat outside. This small square with small alleys has a number of restaurants and shops and 100 meters further on you can walk straight onto the boulevard along the Baltic Sea. Recommended!

Spare rips were very good. Unfortunately, the staff was very stressed and correspondingly unfriendly. Even a generous tip didn't help and we were given a more or less unfriendly farewell. Also very unpleasant: There were several water bowls for dogs, all of them were empty. So here too, largely ignorance. The main thing is that the sales are right!!! ...but maybe not for long

We had High expectations after Reading the rewiews on Tripadvisor. My wife ordered the salmon, andre clearly specified, that she was allergic to tomatoes. When her dish came, there was a tomato on top of the Fish. We repeated that she was allergic and asked for a new dish. The waitress came back after a fem minutes, claiming that we never mentioned anything about tomatoes in an angry tone. She came Winther a dish without the tomato, so my wife began to eat. 30 minutes later she started to feel the pain.

We come to Sassnitz every year for the harbor days and enjoy our dinner in the brasserie every year. The food was very tasty, the atmosphere was great and the service was just great. See you next year 😀

Waitress wrote down wrong food. When we got it, she argued with us that we had ordered it that way and accused us of lying in the kitchen. We found out as follows: Loud complaining when the window was open. (Tip: better close it next time) After repeated inquiries from another waitress, we were given the right food without an apology.

The food was extremely good! Whether it was schnitzel, pasta or fried potatoes - everything was included in our order and everything exceeded our expectations. Also a compliment to the service staff. You feel welcome and the staff are also available for a nice conversation. So if you want a nice evening with delicious food, a nice ambience and friendly staff, a visit to the brasserie is a must! 👍

There were very tasty homemade ravioli with fresh chanterelles and crunchy zucchini. The whole dish was very round and harmonious. Super tasty and always a pleasure!

We didn't eat after we saw the kitchen crew sitting outside at the access door, smoking, scratching themselves (on our legs when wearing shorts, sorry but it felt like they were "scratching eggs") and then disappeared back into the kitchen.

Very good food and the portions are really huge. The salad with a variety of ingredients is recommended. Beans. Corn, cucumber salad, tomatoes 🍅 and various green salads. The Schnitzel XXL is also super tender and well seasoned. We ate there a second time and were really looking forward to it. Unfortunately the fried potato pan was seasoned with way too much pepper. Maybe onion pan would have been a better name. Just way too many onions. We complained, of course, and also pointed out that the pickle was missing. Unfortunately, they weren't interested and didn't even apologize. A pity. After all, we paid 140 euros for eating out twice.

Actually, the brasserie has always been a permanent address for good cuisine! Unfortunately I can't say what has changed. Maybe the boss is no longer in the kitchen? My cutterfish in breadcrumbs was fried in the cheapest and most tasteless fat I have ever eaten. Really not enjoyable! Butter would have been perfect. The hollondaise sauce was very salty, especially since it was missing when it was served. Maybe the chef isn't really familiar with the current menu because my companion had sauce on his plate that wasn't mentioned at all on the menu. All in all, it didn't seem very well-rehearsed, as I noticed at the start of the season. Because the service ladies had to absorb criticism of the kitchen, including from neighboring tables. We have decided not to come back for the time being. A pity!!

Time required for ordering and serving: approx. 60 minutes. When asked after about 40 minutes, they said the food would now be on the plate, another 20 minutes. Instructions through service. Sirloin steak with a deep cooking control cut on the plate. Garlic baguette was oozing grease. Otherwise the taste of the food was okay. Price very high. Normal dinner 2p. 72,-. So that the price level is over €30 per person. Price-performance ratio! Hooray!

Fries were so hard, like if you left oven fries in way too long, just hard. The schnitzel tasted like it had been made in a deep fryer with fish previously put in it. It just didn't taste good and we had to wait over 1 hour for our food.

Price-performance is not right. Calamari only consisted of a lot of pannade and the shrimp were only 5 pieces for a whopping 30 euros. Prices are really steep. Store quite dark, staff was nice.

The food was absolutely not good and the waiting time was really pitiful. They didn't ask whether everything tasted good or check whether the customer needed anything else. The waitress was otherwise friendly (brown hair). The store itself was really well decorated. To note: the store wasn't overly crowded.

A closed restaurant that greets its guests in a friendly manner and invites them in. The “caretaker” makes everything possible to ensure that the guests feel comfortable - requests outside of the menu can also be expressed and everything is conjured up to your complete satisfaction in the kitchen and at the counter. Great - we girls felt completely at home here. Thank you!!! Addendum: unfortunately, as is often the case, a big end... to charge €15.50 for a small bowl of spiced meat and €8 for 2 burst sausages is already borderline. A pity…

We had dinner here 5 times in a week's vacation. The staff was extremely attentive and the food was always a delight. Even as extremely picky wine connoisseurs, we were able to enjoy a glass of wine. Most of the time we couldn't make it without dessert, as it is also incredibly tasty. We wish the boss and his staff always such satisfied guests. Keep it up. We cannot understand the bad reviews. The staff very friendly, attentive and accommodating. The food delicious. The prices are okay (we were there as holidaymakers, in our home country (we are a much smaller tourist area than Sassnitz) we now pay significantly more than in the old town brasserie). Pre-ordering is recommended. Food and drinks came in a reasonable time frame. We were so satisfied that we ate there twice. If I wanted to criticize something, it might be the dining room itself. Yes it is a brasserie, some people find it cozy. Too dark for me personally, but that's a matter of taste.

Waited 2 hours for the food on New Year's Eve, pieces of meat were served instead of steak. Table reserved 1/2 year in advance, were placed near women's toilet, smell canal... Employee very friendly. Loud radio with advertising.

Ordered a 2 niche table for New Year's Eve. The ambience, decoration is great. Service 1A, The food, poultry liver, was a small "flavor explosion." The old town brasserie is small and fine, we will definitely be back. So, definitely go, try it out and enjoy. Thank you for the wonderful evening.

I can only recommend everyone to visit this restaurant. I have rarely had such good food. We've been in Sassnitz over New Year's for six years and it's a must to eat there at least twice and if you want to experience something really nice, you can watch the fireworks there. All I can say is, thank you very much for a wonderful New Year's Eve. You are the best 😂👍👍😂

Food was top class! Christmas duck in perfection!

Wir sind an einem Feiertag spontan dort eingekehrt und wurden freundlich empfangen. Bis auf ein Dessert, haben wir keine Speisen probiert, sondern nur warme Getränke zu uns genommen. Alles wurde schnell zubereitet. Unser Hund hat sich in dem gemütlichen Lokal auch wohlgefühlt.

Das Ambiente entspricht nicht den Preisen,die verlangt werden. Man kommt sich eher vor wie in einer Privatkneipe. Freunde vom Personal reden laut und rufen durch den Saal. Ein Kleinkind, es war nach18 Uhr, rennt schreiend durch die Gegend. Die Bratkartoffeln waren salzig, jedoch der Fisch und das Wurzelgemüse sehr lecker. Wir kamen auf Empfehlung unseres Vermieter wurden aber leider enttäuscht. Kurz; Umfeld,Leistung und Preise passen einfach nicht zueinander, auch wenn es eine Brasserie ist.

Die Fischsuppe hatte leider sehr viele Fischstücke mit Gräten. Ungewöhnlich viel. Geschmacklich allerdings gut. Ansonsten waren die Gerichte wie Salat und Ofenkartoffel eher durchschnittlich und normal.

Richtig tolles Essen für Auge und Gaumen, richtig guter und sehr freundlicher Service, Cocktails die selbst gemixt werden, leise Musik im Hintergrund. Ein rundum perfekter Abend 👌 Top!

De brasserie is gelegen in het oude gedeelte van Sassnitz. Prima plek voor lekker eten met buitengewoon vriendelijk personeel.

Wer für dieses Restaurant keine 5/5 Sterne gibt versteh ich nicht. Obwohl sie ausgebucht waren haben wir zwei Plätze bekommen. Wir haben natürlich bei zweiten mal vorbestellt. 😉 Preisleistung erstklassig. Hunde sind natürlich auch willkommen. Die Kellner haben immer Freude an ihrem Job gehabt,was natürlich nicht mehr viel davon gibt. Einen Gruß an den Chef stoßt mal zusammen an.🥂 So nun zum Ambiente und zum Essen. Das Restaurant war super schön zu Halloween geschmückt. Preise für Essen und Getränke völlig in Ordnung. Natürlich muss man bisschen mehr Geld bezahlen für gutes Essen aber völlig gerechtfertigt. Ihr seit ein tolles Team also vor den Kulissen.... Wir empfehlen dieses Restaurant sehr.💐😋

4 Tage Urlaub in Sassnitz,ein guter Tipp gutes Essen zu genießen,wir hatten Glück das gerade ein Tisch für 6 Pesonen frei wurden und wir durften ein Hund mitnehmen,danke.Sehr freundliche Bedienung diese ist besonders hervorzuheben .

Es regnete den ganzen Tag. Nirgendwo wollte mich man mit Hund hereinlassen. Ich fragte in der Brasserie und durfte rein, obwohl es 25 Minuten vor der Öffnungszeit war. Punkt 17 Uhr stand mein Essen auf dem Tisch und war super lecker. Zu empfehlen!

Gepflegtes Lokal mit klassischem Brasserie-Ambiente, sehr freundliches und gut gelauntes Personal, das sehr Service-orientiert auf die Gäste zugeht. Die Speisen sind deftig und von sehr guter Qualität, klare ehrliche Küche ohne "Schnörkel" und falschen Anspruch - einfach, gut und frisch, auf Zusatzstoffe/Geschmacksverstärker wird grundsätzlich verzichtet. Wir kommen auch nach mehrfachem Besuch weiterhin gerne wieder.

Super leckeres Essen, die Sparerips und die Fischplatte waren der Hammer. Tolles Ambiente und sehr sehr nette Bedienung. Es lohnt sich hier Essen zu gehen und ist somit zu empfehlen!!!

Das Essen war Spitzenklasse und die Mädels vom Service waren echt nett, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Vorbehaltlos zu empfehlen. Wir kommen wieder.

Wir waren das erste, aber bestimmt nicht letzte Mal hier essen. Sehr schön und abseits vom Trubel gelegen. Wir haben gebratenes Kutterdorschfilet gegessen und waren begeistert. Auch die Bratkartoffeln waren superlecker. Aufmerksame Bedienung, die sich alle Bestellungen ohne Stift und Zettel merken konnte👍 Wir kommen getne3 wieder.

Ohne meiner Begleitung hätte ich das Lokal nach dem ersten persönlichen Kontakt mit dem Personal Außenbereich wieder verlassen. Sehr sehr unangenehm. Leider wurde der Service auch nicht besser. Sehr sehr schade, weil das Essen war „SPITZENKLASSE“! Wir waren am 14.09.2023 da.

Schickes Restaurant im Barflair mit super better Bedienung und sehr leckerem Essen. Unsere Portionen gestern waren reichhaltig und kaum zu schaffen. Mein Putenbrustsalat mit frischen Johannisbeeren, Orangen und Wirsing super lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder :-)

Wir haben im Außenbereich sehr leckeres Essen genossen, die Karte ist vielseitig und die Lage in der Altstadt schützend am Abend bei Wind.

Sehr leckeres regionales Essen. Große Auswahl und freundliches Personal. Man sitzt sehr ruhig und idyllisch, jedoch ohne Ostseeblick.

Service war durchschnittlich bis gut, wenig Mitarbeiter leisten dort gute Arbeit, Preise der Region angemessen, Essen war sehr lecker, Portionen sind ausreichend. Ambiente passt .. Kann man mehrmals hingehen 👌

Wir waren gleich zweimal hier zum Abendessen. Auch ohne Reservierung haben wir nach unserer Wanderung jedesmal einen Tisch bekommen. Bei dem ersten Besuch hat es mit dem Essen etwas länger gedauert, aber das hatte uns die nette Bedienung schon bei der Bestellung gesagt. Wir hatten einen Fischteller sowie Matjes. Alles sehr gut. Wer lecker und reichlich essen möchte ist hier gut aufgehoben. Wir können die Brasserie nur empfehlen.

Schöner Tisch im hinteren Teil des Restaurants. Flotte und hilfsbereite Bedienung brachten guten Wein und gutes Essen. Durch grössere Gesellschaften war es ein bisschen laut, aber erträglich.

Wir kamen ohne Reservierung und bekamen drinnen einen guten Platz am Fenster. Viel Platz für zwei Erwachsene und zwei Kinder. Die Karte hat nicht unbedingt viele Gerichte, es ist aber ein sehr breiter Mix aus Steak, Fisch, Pasta und einigen wenigen Vorspeisen, wo sich wahrscheinlich alle Geschmäcker irgendwie zurechtfinden. Eine Brasserie eben. Für Kinder gab es eine Extra-Karte. Wir hatten Spaghetti für die Kids, Kutterdorsch und die Scholle. Alles von guter Qualität, die dazu bestellte Remoulade war der Hit. Bedienungen unbedingt freundlich und hilfsbereit; über die Kinder hat man sich gefreut. Ein unkomplizierter Ort, nette Leute, schöne Einrichtung und Ambiente. Ist mir eine Empfehlung Wert.

Ein gutes Abendessen mit Abstrichen! Ich hatte mich auf Spargel, Schnitzel und Frühlingskartoffeln gefreut. Dazu gab es auch ein schönes Bild auf der Extrakarte. Leider wurden mir dann, teilweise schwarz verbrannte Wedges statt Frühlingskartoffeln (in meinem Verständnis frische kleine Salzkartoffeln mit Petersilie) verkauft. Schade, denn Schnitzel und Spargel waren sehr gut. Gerne hätte ich dazu ein Glas Chianti bestellt, aber die Kellnerin fragte: "Was ist denn das?" Nicht schlimm, dass es diesen Wein nicht gab, aber als Bedienung sollte man schon grundsätzliche Weinkenntnisse besitzen. Leider gab es nur einen einzigen trockenen Rotwein, 8,00 Euro 0,2 l. Im Lokal an sich kann man sich wohlfühlen, eine ansprechendere Bekleidung der Bedienung (statt Kapuzenhoodie) würde dies noch steigern.

Aufmerksame Bedienung, angenehmes Ambiente, geniale Küche - wir waren mehrfach speisen und haben einiges probiert - Wer in Sassnitz zu Gast ist, sollte in dieser Lokalität einkehren!

Kitűnő helyen van az étterem, finomak az ételek, de a felszolgálás nem megfelelő. A személyzet kommunikációja rossz, ráadásul az egyik hölgy arrogáns és lekezelő volt velünk szemben. (Die Lage des Restaurants ist ausgezeichnet, die Atmosphäre ist toll, das Essen ist köstlich, aber der Service ist nicht gut. Die Kommunikation der Service ist schlecht und eine der Damen war arrogant uns gegenüber. )

Prima gegeten. Zat vol en we kregen toch een plekje. Klantvriendelijk. Eten duurde best, maar was druk. Keihard werken daar!

Schöne Lage und freundliche Mitarbeiter aber die Qualität der Essen ist unterirdisch. Die Menge ist angemessen aber was auf dem Teller liegt ist handwerklich schlecht gemacht und dem Preis nicht angemessen!

Tisch bestellt und war auch nett eingedeckt, das war aber auch schon das einzig positive. Ich muss dazu sagen, war schon oft da und war immer super, daher auch die Wahl. Hähnchenbrust mit Hähnchenkeule zu verwechseln muss man als Koch erstmal hinbekommen, wie lange die Entenkeule schon erwärmt wurde weiss auch kein Mensch, jedenfalls war das Teil schön trocken und unsere Oma hat noch alle Zähne, trotzdem musste sie mächtig den Kauapperat anwerfen. Das Wild war kalt und versalzen. Völlig überforderte Küche, ständig wurde an uns ausser Haus essen vorbei getragen. Nach 1,5 Stunden Wartezeit kam dann was, was seinen Preis nicht wert war, der geringfügige Nachlass von 7% wurde nicht angeboten sondern erfragt und ist für diese ärgerliche Aktion einfach zu wenig. Nun könnte man sagen, warum ist man nicht einfach gegangen, zu Corona Zeiten und am 1.Weihnachtsfeiertag nicht so einfach Alternativen klar zu machen. Fazit: freiwillig bekommt uns da keiner mehr rein.

Das Essen ist sehr gut - aber trotz Reservierung im Restaurant miserabeler Tisch und viel zu nah am Nachbarn gerade in Coronazeiten und auf Reklamation bei Bedienung Antwort: sollen froh sein, dass wir Tisch bekommen haben. Geht gar nicht!
