Piccoli's Roadhouse in Hannover

We always go there to play pool and the diesel tastes just amazing. But you shouldn't come at peak times, otherwise you'll have to wait.

Service, food and the location are simply great. Whether at Christmas time or in the summer watching football outside, it's simply pleasant. Even special requests for food are taken into account without any problems and the cocktails are just the right mix. Keep it up!

Nice for billiards and darts, but price per hour could be cheaper 💸🤑

As always worth a visit. Went in at 3 p.m. without a reservation and were able to play everything ;-) The staff was slightly overwhelmed because they weren't fully staffed yet, but everything was fine. Darts, billiards and, as a highlight for the kids, shuffleboard ;-)

We hadn't been there for a long time and it was, as always, very crowded. Speaks for the Roadhouse. Our lovely and absolutely hard-working waitress was very relaxed and always had a smile on her face. We ended my girlfriend's JGA day there and it was the right ending. Thanks for that

It wasn't my first time there and that's why I can only recommend the Roadhouse. The service is good, the employees are super friendly! The food was tasty, but a relatively small portion for 12 euros. Still gladly again! LG

Food is really cool. You can play a lot of games, such as billiards, darts, table football, etc. The atmosphere is always really cool there, especially during sporting events that are broadcast there (also outside in the summer). The staff is actually always friendly and helpful. I always enjoy going there.

Crazy expensive, it pulls hard and it has become incredibly expensive. Burgers 20€!!!! With little meat and at most average. With 2 drinks 33€!!!

Our family chose Piccoli's Roadhouse for Christmas dinner together in 2024. Everything was excellent. The dishes, the staff and the ambience were excellent. It was a slightly different Christmas meal for all of us, but definitely had its own charm.

I wanted to call because there was no space available online. I asked very politely if there was a place available for the next day and the only thing that was said in an extremely rude manner was: we don't accept reservations over the phone. Bye and hung up straight away.

American style, quite chaotic, wild, crazy. Lots of play options. Shuffle board is something different, a type of curling that you play on a long wooden bar sprinkled with sand. However, the material of the snooker tables is very poor (extension was broken or missing, balls are a cheap version, table is slow and needs to be re-strung). The price is far too high for the quality of the snooker tables. It's probably similar with billiards. But the location is interesting.

Thank you very much for your hospitality I've wanted to write something about it since a few culinary visits to the Roadhouse. Today I enjoyed the good atmosphere with a friend on a Saturday evening. The food is absolutely "ROADHOUSE delicious" and the girls in service are quick and pleasantly on their toes. Special thanks to Dennis, who hosted us in a really hospitable manner. Price and performance are wonderfully balanced. I say thank you very much and see you next time 💚

If you have problems with the machines, e.g. darts, you have to wait a little. But then you treat yourself to a delicious cold drink

Nice to play a few rounds of billiards. Prices are completely ok - including food and drinks. Card payment is possible without any problems.

Large portions, very tasty Knofi fries... and the most unfriendly, arrogant and insulting treatment by a manager that I have ever experienced. Last year I was thrilled to discover that the Roadhouse had some vegan dishes on the menu and went there regularly with friends before visiting the Astor. Before, I had always ordered the vegan baked potato or the fries. A few months ago I was at the Roadhouse with a friend (for the last time for sure). Since all burgers on the menu can also be ordered “with a vegan patty”, we assumed that the burgers are generally also available in vegan form. Then we asked which of the burgers were vegan. The waitress went to ask, came back and told us none of the burgers were vegan. When asked what wasn't vegan about it, she said the pesto, the rolls and the cheese. I then asked if you could simply leave out the roll and instead add a little more salad or fries and just vegan sauce instead of the pesto. The waitress asked again and informed us that they could leave out the ingredients in question, but could not offer more salad/fries or reduce the price of the burger. I then ordered the “burger” in a vegan version, please without raw onions due to an intolerance. Then the food came: I got the patty and two slices of cheese on top... so I asked politely if the cheese could be taken off. The waitress disappeared with the dish and it took another very long time before I got my food. With raw onions, but I didn't complain, I just sorted them out so as not to complicate things further. Shortly afterwards the waitress came back and asked directly whether we wanted to pay (we were surprised because normally we first ask whether we would like to order something else). We then paid, first my companion: €19.10 - then me: €20. I asked why I should pay more for the same drink even though I ordered the same thing (or got less) - I was simply charged for the most expensive burger (definitely not at my request, I didn't order any extras etc.) . I agreed that there was no discount, but asked (still in a friendly and calm manner) that the bill be adjusted so that at least I wouldn't have to pay more than my girlfriend. The waitress then said that a more expensive burger had been ordered / entered into the system (namely the one that was on the menu with extra cheddar...). She seemed new and still overwhelmed with the technology, so she brought in the managing director. He seemed to be looking for an argument, immediately confronted me angrily and a very unpleasant conversation began. He accused us of behaving in an impossible way and that as vegans you have to realize that you would be wrong in a steak house. And that it is obvious that the burgers are not completely vegan despite the vegan patty. We were stunned as we had remained calm and friendly up until this point. The bill was reduced, but I have never been treated / insulted in such an unfriendly, condescending and hostile manner in a restaurant. We originally went to the Roadhouse to play a game of pool with a cocktail after dinner. However, since the owner immediately issued a ban on the property, this was resolved. It's probably better that way anyway, I would never have gotten lost in this shop again after that experience... Absolutely not recommended...you don't have to be vegan to realize that you are not welcome here. It's a shame that 0 star ratings are not possible.

Beer, burgers, billiards top. But too few service staff. The “boys” (at billiards) did their best, but with the number of guests they needed more support.

The food and the staff are just great. At the weekend you can even watch the Bundesliga and have some delicious food. The mood is usually quite funny.

The food tastes good. Hot ribs, burgers and pizza taste good. I didn't think the chilli cheese fries were that great. It is relatively narrow and louder. But you can still play billiards, darts or shuffleboard downstairs after your meal. That's really great.

The lower level with billiards, shuffleboard, table football and beer pong ensures that you can play while hungry... in a proper Western American ambience this works well. If you are hungry, there is an Italian/American menu with enough choice to satisfy it immediately. Cool location with delicious food. Perfect

Good billiard tables, but very expensive

Hello, I used to be a real regular and I really like the ribs! Really only recommended. Today we were at your place to play darts and have a few drinks. Absolutely insane prices! You take a deposit but you have to pay for your 2 drinks straight away (beer and spritzer), you give a Zwanni and get 8€ back... inflation or not but that's crazy 😀 where else can you play darts for free and here you pay 40% for the drinks more and the hour of darting isn't exactly free, I'll say... Really outrageous prices and of course you have to pay immediately for every single drink??? Uwe chill, really… Ribs remain top to stay objective 😀

Unfortunately I can't rate the food. The roadhouse is an absolute recommendation. You can have a lot of fun, especially in the basement. Billiards, kicker, dart, beer pong and even rarities like snooker and especially shuffle board as a highlight. Unfortunately, you have to reserve a long time in advance for shuffleboard or you have to accept very long waiting times. Nevertheless, a visit to the roadhouse should not be missed if you want to have a successful evening in Hanover's nightlife.

I like to go there for billiards, shuffleboard and darts. I don't think the food is outstanding, but if you love burgers and fries you will be satisfied here.

The food was okay, but nothing special. Can you do better at home? The service was friendly, but despite asking twice that I wanted the food without onions, there were onions on it. So I don't need it again.

Nice bar with decent food. The beer prices are reasonable. A highlight is the cellar with billiards and shuttle board.

Was here for dinner with work colleagues. It was a wonderful evening. The atmosphere is really good, our service was super friendly and responded to our requests. The food It was tasty and the portions were more than enough. The restaurant was busy for a Tuesday evening. I recommend reserving online in advance. Card payment is possible. I definitely recommend the Roadhouse.

We were there last weekend to meet friends for dinner. Even though the store was full, the service served the drinks and food quickly. We waited a little longer for the food itself. Everything came at the same time and was super tasty. We'd love to come back.

Delicious food 😋, nice and quick service. The furnishings are beautifully rustic and invite you to linger. There's a cocktail on Wednesday, where you can have a good time in a cheerful group. We always like to come back, We can only recommend 👍👍👍👍👍 This time we had Spare-Rips Hot & Spicy

Rustic, US-style diner with lots of TVs. There was quiet football and later kickboxing. Food was OK. Had rump steak with baked potatoes. Service was nice and quick. In the much larger basement room of the house there were endless pool tables, darts, table football and a bar. The toilet was in a horrible and dirty condition. It is not possible to dry your hands properly. The invoice was immediately presented to me with a service flat rate +10%. Apparently this is common in the USA. Can you go there?

The ambience is very good, you feel right in the middle of “American Hustle”. Drinks are ice cold and the menu is extensive. Since I'm a fan of southern cuisine, I wasn't disappointed! Be sure to order Louisiana BBQ Sauce!!! In the basement we used the neon pong system and that was....... Wait it's coming........ Legendary 😂 Gladly again, and Zar next Wednesday for cocktail day!

The food is okay. At least that's what I can say about my burger. The fries that came with it were too salty. There is also a good difference between price and performance. And that was the best part. The waitress was lazy and made a long face. Jumping around in tight tops didn't help either. And the semi-duke Western ambience with loud music, even though there are hardly any customers there, is no longer much of a distraction. Overall ok, but not worth another visit for me.

Terrible service!!! Our 3 and 7 year old children were kicked out of this facility because they had a Happy Meal from McDonalds. We weren't even allowed to order. started shouting at 4 young girls with children so that in the RAIN the children could drink their juice outside first and then we could sit at the table. Children are not welcome at this location. I categorically advise no one to come here

Nice service, got the order quickly. Food was good and plentiful

The Caesar salad is very disappointing: just lettuce, no tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, corn or anything, just greens, with 4 strips of chicken and a bit of dressing and a soggy piece of bread, that's it. Charging around 16 EUR for this is simply a rip-off! To be fair, I have to say the other food looked good and there were no complaints.

My friends took me to this restaurant during my trip and the food was really delicious. The ribs, pizza and beer were fantastic. However, there was a small disappointment: we had the rest of the food packed, but when I got home I discovered that the pizza was missing. There was more than half of the pizza left.

A nice place to play billiards and eat delicious burgers afterwards. Only the cocktails are too watery. There are better bars in Hanover for that.

We were there with 5 people. Sat outside, it was very loud, you could hardly have a conversation, it was very crowded. The cocktails consisted largely of ice. But we know that now... The service was very different. One was polite and attentive, three were unfortunately more than unfriendly. The bacon was forgotten on a burger and was taken off the bill. The food came quickly and was overall ok. A Fanta we ordered was watery because it comes from a syrup machine that was running out. The waitress even said yes to this - but this could not be refunded or exchanged. Nothing was offered in compensation. Unfortunately, it's not a nice way to deal with customers, we won't be coming back.

We were on a short trip to Hanover and found this shop by chance. We sat outside on the rustic terrace, which we really liked. We ordered 7 different dishes, 4 of which were pizzas. Everyone was very enthusiastic and the pizzas were really huge. The price is also completely reasonable. The service worked well and so it was a successful evening.

Piccoli's Roadhouse is always worth a visit, especially before the cinema - because the ASTOR Grand Cinema is right behind it. There should be something on the menu for every taste: whether it's burgers, spate ribs, steak - or the classic currywurst. There is something for everyone and so far everything has tasted really good. If you're not only hungry but also want to spend some time here, you can play billiards or a game of darts. However, a reservation must always be made for this. This is basically what you should always do here. At no time have I experienced a time when there wasn't a lot going on here. I deduct a star for the ambience. Here I have the option of simply sitting inside, in the smoking area or outside on the terrace. The latter is right on a pretty loud street and unfortunately you don't play your own music. It's not always that nice - but overall it's a high level of complaining. If you have planned a movie night, you should definitely stop by here beforehand :)

As a picky eater, i don't like most of the restaurants in Hannover. However, Piccoli's Roadhouse is my favorite place to eat by far! The food is absolutely perfect, the ambience is perfect. They deserve a 4.7+ rating minimum. I had brought my friends, my family and all of them liked the food and the place.

The atmosphere is great and cozy. The pizza was ok but nothing special and the same was true of the cocktails, prices are a bit too high for so much ice cream... the employees weren't that friendly... I was there yesterday and the whiskey sour was very tasty...

What a shame! What you did with the originally lovingly prepared burgers. That's zero eight fifteen to the second power Paddis without taste, no delicious sauce on the burgers. This is the best fast food service but nothing like American Roadhouse

My house and farm restaurant. Cross Nikolaistrasse once and I can take a seat. For me the tastiest burgers in Hanover. Fast, friendly service. However, prices have risen sharply. The ambience has hardly changed at all in the last few years. That's why only 3 stars here.

The last time I was there with my wife, we had a very unfriendly waitress who repeatedly ignored us, so we complained to another employee that we had been waiting for our food for 45 minutes. He then took care of everything. After so much trouble, the food no longer tasted good to us.

Great location, especially in summer. The food tastes great and the price-performance ratio is absolutely reasonable. The staff are very attentive and friendly. I'll stop by again next time I'm in Hanover!
