Very nice service, quick food, but loud and not nice to sit in...

Went in spontaneously and were served early despite the store being full, so we arrived on time for the theater performance next door. Super courteous service and of course very tasty food!!! Monthly pass highly recommended :)

Lasagna and Zoodles Gamberetti were ordered... both super delicious... We regularly go to L'Osteria, really great atmosphere and great staff

Have eaten here. The pizzas were good & plentiful. The waitress was standing a little off. Ordered food & drinks had to be requested several times.

First I would like to note the positive experiences: Even though we came to a full house, we were given a table at the bar after a short wait - that was great. The order could also be placed quickly and the drinks were delivered quickly. We chose the Buschetta as a starter - it was pleasantly seasoned and the bread was fried until it was delicious and crispy. The bread that we were served with our meal was also impressive - it was fluffy and light, and tasted really good! I can only say so much about the main course - perhaps the main dishes we ordered just exceptionally weren't good - there are numerous good reviews here. However, the dish (Orechiette di Manzo el Limone) was very blandly seasoned, the meat was partially burnt, and this sooty taste unfortunately also permeated the sauce. The tortelloni were okay - although they could have cooked a minute longer - they were quite firm. The service was characterized by curt waiters who of course tried their best, but somehow couldn't create the cozy restaurant atmosphere that you know from classic Italian restaurants. All in all, the visit was okay, but unfortunately we cannot recommend the restaurant and will probably not come back for a while.

Reservations are highly recommended, especially during peak times. There are basically zero parking spaces nearby.

The experience was excellent in every way. The pizza was simply delicious: perfectly baked crust, fresh ingredients, and well-balanced flavors. The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff. Additionally, the cozy and pleasant atmosphere made the evening even better. I was recommended to eat here by the reception staff at the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel, and it was definitely worth it! Definitely a place I would return to!

L'osteria is really a great restaurant with very tasty food. I love the pizza there, have been there over a dozen times and it won't be my last time. Now to my criticisms, which is why I deducted 1 star (which is very petty) because of the ambience, if you sit near the door it gets cold quickly, especially in winter, which is unpleasant. And because of the food, it's a shame that the pizza gets cold too quickly, but that's a luxury problem because the size and taste is really great, but if the last third of the 4 cheese pizza gets cold, then it doesn't taste as good anymore. Otherwise a top restaurant, definitely visit it if you want good pizzas.

For the Parmigiana pizza, I would recommend frying the eggplant first to make the pizza even tastier.

I was here yesterday for the first time, but definitely not the last! The pizza was delicious, the service was first class and even though it was full, the noise level was within a good range (and I'm very sensitive to noise...😅) The pizza is huge, I'll eat the rest for lunch today and I'm looking forward to it very excited 🤤. The option to put different toppings on both halves of the pizza really helps with my indecision. I would highly recommend this restaurant 😊

Food was great, there was a defect that was easily remedied. We were here in a large group in the run-up to Christmas and received nice and friendly service, but the hectic pace due to the many large groups damaged the ambience and the well-rounded enjoyment of the evening. I wondered whether pizzas really had to be that big ;-), but our group liked it!

Creepy shop. The food (tortellini with ham and cream sauce) tastes bland and musty. Pooh. Everything unseasoned and poorly done. Portion for almost 15 euros is so small that you might think it was a children's meal. What should you expect from a chain?

Incredibly great shop. The service is incredibly nice and friendly. The pizza is gigantic and almost impossible to eat, but extremely tasty. The lasagne is well prepared and extremely tasty. Found a new local restaurant.

Enormous pizzas but really fresh soft dough, delicious!

We had reservations for 9 people. We had to sit far too close together, which wasn't particularly fun to eat given the size of the pizzas. We also sat in the basement and had to collect candles from the tables around because the ceiling light didn't work and you could hardly read the menu. The waitress wasn't very attentive either. We were left stranded at times. However, the food came quickly and, as usual, was delicious.

The pizza did not disappoint. It was a nice evening.

We were the only poc table and the main waiter (long white shirt guy) treated us poorly. He was rude, impatient, and didn't pay attention when we were making orders. When we asked him to speak to us calmly, he was dismissive so we cancelled our food order and decided to finish the drinks and leave. This was extremely unpleasant, pocs should never come here!!!!

Waiter was rude to us twice when making both the drinks and food orders respectively. As the only all African table, we could observe a more pleasant exchange between the waiter and other patrons. When we tried to raise this concern about this lack of courteousy, the waiter arrogantly dismissed us. Needless to say, we were forced to cancel our food order and pay for our drinks before looking for alternative restaurant.

Unfortunately far too loud, acoustics terrible, reminiscent of a train station hall. Pizza of course delicious & huge.

I was very disappointed with my visit to this restaurant. The service was not only slow and disorganized, but also disrespectful. The staff seemed to have no interest in providing guests with a pleasant experience. We had to wait a very long time for the menu, without any apology or explanation. When we asked politely, we were treated with an unfriendly and dismissive attitude. This disrespectful attitude is absolutely unacceptable in a restaurant that wants to present itself as hospitable. The ambience of the restaurant may be fine, but such poor service ruins the entire experience. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant and hope that those responsible will work on the quality of service to avoid similar disappointments for other guests.

Clean, waitresses fit and always attentive, food served quickly and super tasty. Highly recommended all around.

The food was okay. I think a lot of people here rely on the name of the restaurant and thereby compromise on quality. Unfortunately the service was a complete disaster. Despite having a reservation, we had to wait 10 minutes for our table, but if you are late as a guest, the reservation is cancelled. Our order was taken with a roll of the eyes at the special requests that were on the menu. When we asked if we could have another dessert, this was accepted very reluctantly with a view to the clock and the kitchen. Only 2 stars due to poor service. I'm better off with a pizza at home.

The pizza was good as usual, but not quite as tasty as last time. Maybe it was also because we waited 45 minutes for the food and were a bit annoyed. It was also really cold today because the door was left open for too long and the curtain didn't really hang.

I have never been disappointed with food. No matter whether pizza or pasta - always delicious. As a vegetarian, I also think the selection is very good. If you can't make it, you can take the food home with you. The service yesterday was also excellent. The woman was very attentive but never intrusive. Orders were delivered quickly despite the house being full. Always happy 😁

By far my favorite pizza restaurant. Everything works for me there: super delicious pizzas (especially the Parmigiana 😋), special salad variants (Cesar's salad with chicken breast), good wine, delicious desserts (tiramisu and pana cotta). All of this combined with a cozy ambience and at the same time a lively atmosphere. And last but not least: Super-fast and friendly service that I hardly ever find anywhere else. 👏 Now new: The l'osteria bonus system (love hearts). 👍

Very tasty pizzas and pasta. Unfortunately the music is a bit too loud. Still, overall a very good restaurant. Definitely coming back.

Everything worked out great, the food and staff were great and very nice

The ambience is very nice, unfortunately it always feels very cold as soon as the door opens. The service only gets 4 stars because we didn't ask if we would like something more to drink. And when we wanted to pay the bill, we had to ask three times until someone came. The one point deducted from food is that my pasta contained far too much parsley. The paprika cream sauce was extremely tasty, but the parsley often overpowered it.

I had a side salad, a half 4 cheese pizza half tuna. As usual, the pizza is huge and very tasty. The salad was dressed a bit too much with balsamic vinegar and the waiting time was long. Therefore only 4 stars

Waiters top, food too except for the black edge on the bread. Bacon is the main ingredient in pasta dishes. Vegetarian and even vegan pizza are very good. It's just the volume in the room that makes you walk faster than planned, simply because you're forced to scream at each other. A little more air between the tables and sound-absorbing elements would help compensate for the lack of seats through reordering.

A really nice restaurant that I didn't even know about until then. Huge pizzas that you could eat for two with different toppings. Unfortunately, I didn't know that beforehand, then we would have shared it too. The service was prompt and friendly Cleanliness gets 1 star deducted from me, the table and floor were not completely clean. The toilets were bad. They should be checked every now and then!

The three of us ate here again this afternoon and, as always, it was excellent. It didn't take long before we had our starters. Antipasti plate and soup. Simply delicious. The main courses: pasta dishes with shrimp and turkey strips, as well as the really huge pizza were also delicious. Despite the hectic pace, the waiter asked attentively whether everything was okay. What I like best here is the casual atmosphere with high-quality food. Always happy again 👌

First of all, sorry that I don't have any pictures with me today. Food (pizza half BBQ, half vegetarian and pasta of the month) tasted delicious. The tiramisu was also delicious as always. But today I still had to deduct a star today. Reason: we waited almost 30 minutes for food, I'm not used to that. While everyone else around us had already had their food even though they ordered after us. It usually always happens quickly. And then unfortunately a large part of the pizza crust was not filled. Both are annoying. But the waiter was super nice and gave us the tiramisu on the house. Super nice and good service. We'll come again and maybe things will work out the way we're used to.

Ordered food from Wolt. The pizza was cold (delivery error) and the tortellini was delivered incorrectly despite comments. The price of the pizza was refunded through Wolt. The tortellini should be reimbursed by L'Osteria (after telephone consultation). Unfortunately, there was no response when we asked via email and the contact form. Unfortunately, food was so inedible and intolerable for me. Too bad! Unfortunately, more than one star is not possible

The food was delicious, but when the staff practically begs for tips when paying by card, then a limit has been crossed.

Staff incredibly quick in service and yet super friendly and concerned about the guest. For example, it was immediately noticed that my drink was empty when the store was full. The pizza was very tasty, I don't know anything different at L'osteria.

We were there at lunchtime. The place was 75% full, but only one waiter. There also seemed to be very few staff in the kitchen. We had to wait that long. Unfortunately, a strong draft could also be felt near the door. But the food was very tasty

We went there together as a family for dinner. We were able to choose a huge pizza with two different toppings, with the price being calculated depending on the expensive pizza. The dough was nice and thin and crispy, the topping was delicious. My wife chose an offer of pasta with burrata that she really liked. Our children each had a pasta dish with bolognese and tomato sauce. (The waitress offered us these off the menu when we asked.) With drinks we came out at 62 euros. Gladly again.

I was at L'Osteria recently and had a pizza. It was super delicious! The dough was crispy and the ingredients were fresh. The staff was nice too. If you want a good and very, very large pizza that goes outside the box, I can recommend L'Osteria.

It just has its name, nothing else...it doesn't taste good and it's not clean either. There are better places e.g. Lucca and Grossen Hillen.

I ordered the mushroom risotto, which was very bad and didn't have much in common with risotto. In a very nice conversation with the waitress, I found out that the rice was delivered ready-made in bags and that the risotto was not freshly cooked. No wonder you can hardly eat it.

The pizza was very tasty and large, but unfortunately the knives were extremely dull, so you had to press really hard to cut the pizza. I found the drink prices a bit high. (0.33 iced tea for just under 5 euros.)

Contrary to many opinions I have heard so far, the visit was completely satisfactory! The service was nice and attentive and the food was delicious and sufficient! Only the portion size of the pizzas was very generous, which made cutting and eating a little difficult. Great visit!

But this review is only for yesterday. We always like to go to this location. All top, wonderful. But yesterday the cellar (I think Italian) was also a little rude when ordering. There are 4 of us, 2 of which are our mom (Asian), we order 2 aperon spritzes + 1 large water bottle for both of us + 2 pizzas + pasta. It's enough after all. But his relationship was strange. Maybe there wasn't enough for him. Finally, when paying, pay with a card as normal. He wants to force us to give tips via EC device. I don't tip at first, he repeats the process again. He thought we were tourists and didn't understand German. I say “we give cash for tips” and his attitude was totally rude after that. He says something in Italian to the kitchen staff. They laugh about it too. I like to come back again and again, but I hope something like this doesn't happen to me or us again.

Excellent care... The perfect pasta!!! The pizza is weak... Quality of the cheese is not good... The amount of ingredients is limited and the dough is very good. It's not bad but it could be much better... A shame Reasonable prices I recommend it to repeat...

Nice Italian restaurant in Hanover right next to the main train station. Unfortunately for me the cozy atmosphere is missing... But the food was great and the service was courteous and nice.

As always, very neat. If you don't know your way around, just to be on the safe side, go to L'Osteria.

Of course, I know the chain well and you get the usual quality at the local location too. The waiter who served us was very friendly. Everything tasted good to me. There is a deduction for the high level of noise later in the evening, which disturbed us during the conversations at the table and because some of the monthly menu items were unfortunately no longer available, such as the pumpkin cream soup. I found the dessert particularly beautifully prepared.

L'Osteria makes one of the best pizzas outside of Italy. Whenever we are in a city where there is a branch, we always eat there and have never been disappointed.

We were there right when the store opened. I've always wanted to try the pizzas there and was really looking forward to trying them. The pizza BBQ (17.25€) and the wine spritzer (9.95€, 0.5 l) were very tasty. One pizza is enough for 2 people. CAUTION !!! when billing, because unfortunately more is being billed than was actually ordered. We should have paid €27.20 (see menu) and had planned to pay €30 including tip. When the waitress came with the card reader, the total was already €30.75 (approx. 13% surcharge). We were a bit confused at that moment and thought that she had simply cheated herself into adding a tip? Or that we mistakenly paid for another table? Or were other dishes added to our bill that we didn't even order? We only ordered what you can see in the picture! Unfortunately, she left immediately without offering us an invoice. We couldn't find any information on the map with a tip automatically added. We found this very cheeky and disappointing and would have liked to have tipped, but I think you have to point this out and not just be so bold and think that the guests won't notice anyway. (Especially since we are not in the USA, for example, where the waiters are poorly paid and rely on tips and therefore automatically have a service fee and a tip on the bill. In Germany it is still voluntary!) We are We left with a very bad feeling because we felt betrayed and ripped off. A return visit will not take place again (at least in this branch). A pity!!!

We visited L'Osteria in Hanover/Lavesstrasse. The waiter was very friendly and we got our order quickly. We were very satisfied with our pizzas. It is a special experience to dine here. The pizzas 🍕🍕 at L'Osteria are all uniformly huge, very thin and incredibly tasty. They don't fit on the plate, but that's what makes L'Osteria so special. We didn't manage to do everything at once, but we were able to take what was left with us and enjoy it again at home. We definitely got full.😊👍🏻 The performance is worth the price. Absolutely recommended.😋👍🏻

Ambiance is great, everything is great and the atmosphere is very inviting, service from employees is also excellent, they listen carefully and don't keep you waiting for long. I ordered two pizzas to take away, you can see the pizzas are large, but the toppings weren't convincing, I had the feeling that the restaurant wanted to save money with the toppings, even though two pizzas cost over thirty euros. Dough is incomparably good, but unfortunately the topping was not to our satisfaction. I hope it works better on the next visit.

I was in Hanover for three days and came across this restaurant. The staff is super friendly and are super quick to serve food and drinks. The food such as pizza, pasta, desserts and coffee are delicious. I can only recommend it.

We were there as a group and were supposed to sit downstairs, even though we had a reservation, which wasn't possible, next to the toilets. We actually wanted to have a nice evening. After asking again, we got a table in the restaurant, service was very good, food and drink too

After a strenuous day of touring, we were looking for somewhere to sit and relax. Coincidentally, a table outside at L'Osteria just became available and we took our chance. It's right on the road, but still somewhat secluded. We sat for a while until a waiter passed by and apologized and said he would be with us shortly. The menu is clear but also has a bit of everything. We classically decided on 3 pizzas (2 divided into one). These “giant pizzas” took up the entire table and were almost impossible to make. Very tasty and also appetizingly prepared. Anything left over is packaged in a friendly manner to take away. We would come again and recommend it.

We had pizza there during the day and were very happy with everything. The pizza was good, the service was friendly and attentive and we also liked the loft atmosphere. We would eat pizza here again.

I ordered the Funghi Risotto, unfortunately the risotto wasn't cooked through. But the service was nice and quick.

I was in Hanover for the AC/DC concert and ate here. The service was quite busy, but still attentive and friendly. Upon request, there was even beot with the salad. The salad was delicious, I love the dressing. The spaghetti Bolognese tasted good, but the sauce was sparingly portioned - in Hamburg you can get a ladle more. The espresso was delicious and served hot - thanks to the service. Ambience is ok, a bit busy. It was nice that the front was open in the warm weather.

I am an absolute L'Osteria fan! I've already been through a few stores and they've all been delicious! Food, service, ambience and prices are very good. Spaghetti Cabonara and pizza are simply amazing! Great, 1000 thanks to everyone, including the kitchen staff! Been coming there every two weeks for over 6 months and the food is always A1. Unfortunately it's too far for us (2 hours), otherwise we would have been there more often. But otherwise we are in Osnabrück at Neumarkt almost every week, as it is 20 minutes from us. The restaurant is on a street but it wasn't bad in the least. You can still have a nice evening, the service is nice and polite, the atmosphere is well coordinated and the prices for the food and the food itself are cheap and tasty. I'd love to come back

We had our company party with 13 people here and were extremely impressed by the very friendly and humorous manner of the employees there. The store was packed with goods and the stress wasn't viewed negatively. Very good, keep it up
