There's only one word I want to say: Delicious!!

The restaurant was very busy, but we managed to get two more seats. Very attentive staff. Delicious bread with good oil and a great balsamic vinegar as a welcome drink. Very good pasta and great cocktails. Absolutely perfect value for money. We'd happily return.

Maurizio has been an institution on the Lister Meile for three decades; his restaurant is a place of encounters, friendship, good humor, warmth... and, of course, Italian cuisine. Whether you're a regular or a first-timer, Maurizio himself will be there for you day and night. And so will his entire team. Of course, the menu features the classics, typical Italian cuisine, but over the years, Maurizio has sharpened his eye for how cuisine and eating habits are changing. That's why, for example, you can enjoy tartare prepared at your table, as well as fish crudo with wasabi. Long story short: You simply have to come by and try it! :-)

Pre-ordering is a good idea. We got our food after 90 minutes. My carbonara wasn't quite hot, which made it difficult to eat small bites due to the rich cheese. The taste was very good. The staff was very friendly, but seemed stressed. Perhaps it's too much to ask for on a Friday or Saturday to enjoy a quiet meal with friends at a popular Italian restaurant.

We were very kindly escorted to our table. The appetizers and main courses were delicious, and the portions were perfectly adequate. The service was very attentive and friendly. The only downside was the limited menu due to the trade fair. We would be happy to return.

We went to Amici Miei today with six girls, and it was truly fantastic. A tastefully decorated restaurant, very friendly and attentive staff, and a small but fine menu with delicious Italian dishes. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food. The value for money is also excellent. You should definitely make a reservation, as it was quite busy. I will definitely be back.

The worst service ever, with arrogant waiters not even able to apologize a waiting time for a pizza of 50 minutes, instead they asked me to be polite when I asked when our food was coming. The decor and interior is terrible with a disco light as you would think you're at a strip joint. Stay away from this place....

Almost Italian food, good for Germans.

A basic Italian, without any grace. The Caprese salad was not made with good tomatoes and the cheese was not creamy at all. The pasta alla forma, served with a wheel of parmesan and mushrooms, was passable.

A very tastefully decorated Italian restaurant with excellent dishes, a large selection, especially of pasta, and a good wine list. The service is lively but friendly and relaxed.

We wanted to eat here, but they didn't even allow us to sit outside with our dog. This is completely incomprehensible to me – you could understand it inside, but not outside. Very disappointing, we left immediately and will definitely not be coming back.

We had reserved a table by phone. When we arrived at the restaurant, we suddenly saw signs everywhere in the various outdoor areas stating that dogs were not allowed. There's nothing about this on the website, and there was no warning over the phone either. When we politely asked if we could perhaps sit to the side in the empty outdoor area with our little dog, we were very rudely kicked out and informed that this rule had been in place for three years and that's just how it is. We should go to another restaurant. We took this advice to heart and went to Francesca & Fratelli, a five-minute walk away (which, by the way, is much nicer), where we were welcomed with open arms. I am very disappointed by this experience. Especially in very family-friendly Italian restaurants, you expect to be treated with kindness, and I would have preferred a friendlier restaurant that also says "amici miei" (my friends)... At Francesca & Fratelli's, our dog curled up under my chair and slept peacefully the whole time. 😌

Delicious lunch menu at fair prices.

Everything was okay, but not outstanding. We had a reservation, sat outside, and had to wait quite a while for our main course.

I've been eating here with friends for over 15 years. Last time I was there with my 29-year-old friend and we had a great time sitting outside. The restaurant was an ideal meeting point because he came by train from Bremen. There is a holiday atmosphere, the drinks taste good and the food is excellent - the prices are of course appropriate for the location.

I used to think the best Italian restaurant was in Burg on Fehmarn... but I have to correct myself: it's here, in Hanover! If you want authentic (as far as I can tell as a non-Italian) Italian cuisine, you have to go here!

From my own experience, I neither ate nor drank anything there. I saw an advertisement that the restaurant was looking for an employee, so I organized an appointment with the manager for a trial day. I arrived early, having prepared all the required documents, as I had some questions about the job. However, I was shocked by the manager’s attitude. He seemed completely uninterested in listening to any of my questions and appeared to be looking for someone just to work like a ‘slave.’ My questions clearly frustrated him, and he abruptly ended the trial day he had initially invited me for. I would recommend that he take a course on how to properly treat employees.

This was my second visit to this charming Italian restaurant, and one again perfect. The starters were exceptional, and each main dish we tried—the pasta, pizza, and salmon—was perfectly prepared and full of flavor. What truly elevated the experience was the outstanding service provided by Mr. Nazım. His professionalism, warm hospitality, and expert wine selections made our evening even more memorable. I highly recommend letting Mr. Nazım guide your choices—his recommendations are spot on and truly enhance the dining experience.

We had a business meal there. The pizza was tasty and reasonably priced for the size. The pasta dishes are unlikely to fill you up! The service was consistently attentive and friendly. The restaurant itself is relatively dark - but the interior is attractive.

Bitte nicht zu Stosszeiten hingehen, da sie auch Nachmittags geöffnet haben, findet man dann besser einen Platz. Toller Service. Und für mich ein Highlight, das Carpaccio wird am Tisch zelebriert und man darf entscheiden, was man drauf haben will. Das habe ich so noch nie bei irgendeinem Italiener erlebt. Super. Fettucine im Parmesanrad gewälzt, auch am Tisch. Einfach schön dort ein Esserlebnis zu haben.

We were at the Eat& Beat event. What was very suspicious was that you could only pay for the cards in cash in advance. When we arrived we were not greeted warmly, but the entire staff was stressed and we stood there for 10 minutes and waited until we were assigned a table. That was really the biggest impudence of all: we were seated at a table with strangers and 6 people were placed at a table that was supposed to have four people in order to make even more profit. Because it was so narrow, you couldn't eat in a relaxed manner because you always bumped into the unknown person next door. Even during the meal the music was so loud that it was impossible to have a conversation at all. Speaking of food: The starter (mixed antipasti plate) was really good, but the truffle pasta from the Parmesan loaf tasted neither of Parmesan nor of truffles and there wasn't even extra Parmesan on the side. The tiramisu consisted only of whipped cream and was the worst tiramisu I have ever eaten. Sorry, but I have different expectations from such a hyped Italian restaurant. We were just disappointed and left the event early because there was unfortunately no party atmosphere.

We arrived on a Tuesday without a reservation and were very kindly seated at a fairly small table. The food was very good, and the service is generally very friendly, although it's important to let the customer finish speaking. The wait times from arrival to ordering are always very long. Sometimes the wait times between courses are too short. The ambiance is pleasant, but at times it's very loud, so holding a conversation can be difficult. Overall, it's recommended for special occasions; the surprise menu is particularly popular.

The pasta with salmon and pink berries was delicious, but unfortunately rather bland. The vitello tonato was okay. It was packed for a Thursday evening at 6 p.m., and above all, loud.

We ordered at 6:00 p.m. Our table wasn't free until around 6:45 p.m. It was very loud in the restaurant and sometimes uncomfortable because you couldn't have a proper conversation. The food was OK but not according to the price. My Vitello Tonnato was very chewy.

Was there for the third time now. As always, the food and drinks were excellent, and the service was also very good. The carpaccio is extremely tasty, bruschetta is also delicious, the tagliatelle with salmon is also great, spaghetti vongole is also very good. For dessert, tiramisu or tartufo was very tasty. Plus a good wine and a bottle of mineral water. The ambience is nice, but it can get relatively loud in the evening as it is very crowded. I enjoy eating there and will definitely repeat. Be sure to reserve by phone in advance!! Parking spaces in front of the restaurant are rare, so it's better to park in the side streets or in the parking garage underschnellplatz Hochstrasse.

Unique experience. DELICIOUS (Tagliata), SUPER NICE, with FUN FACTOR

Saturday evening in the "amici miei", four people from 6:30 p.m. We were allowed to use the table until 8:30 p.m. Here the table is occupied twice! Well, we knew that beforehand and it was OK for us. The Ristorante is running at full capacity on Saturday evening, but no problem for the kitchen and service. We ordered tomato soup, pizza (offered in three sizes), "Suprema die Pollo", lamb fillet strips and spaghetti with seafood. Here the mussels were still slightly sandy! Variants of Tartufo (be sure to try the one with pistachios) rounded things off. The pizzas are put together according to the “modular principle”, really practical! Everything tasted very appealing (without the sandy “cozze”). “The bottom line” is that we were satisfied and pleasantly full. The interior is a matter of taste, I like it so stylish. We were able to leave the table on time without any time pressure. A line of new guests had already formed in the entrance area and had to stand outside on the sidewalk. Not so nice in sub-zero temperatures, but probably unavoidable. The Ristorante has no space for a "waiting area".

I would particularly like to highlight the freshness of the ingredients, which was noticeable in every bite. Not only was the food fantastic, but the value for money was unbeatable. You pay an absolutely fair price for the quality and service here. After a long time, a visit again at lunchtime. The entire restaurant is fully set for the opening at 12 p.m. We wait at the entrance and can choose a seat ourselves, by the window. First plus point: 2 signs in front of and at the entrance: no dogs. Very commendable and a sign of quality. There is no separate lunch menu, but the house's very extensive menu offers a lot and something special. Unfortunately, we couldn't open this map on the homepage that day - a shame. Both the spagetti (arrabiata, I think I remember) and the Mediterranean pizza were very tasty, excellent quality and a pleasant portion size, so the price was reasonable at under €20. Very attentive friendly service. Very pleasant visit.

Great food, good wine, exceptional service and the boss helped us out with a smile. We had several bottles of wine and several grappas, which were very well poured and you never had the feeling of paying too much for exceptional dishes and very good drinks. We will 100% celebrate there again, we felt very comfortable.

As a woman, I was not allowed to wait for my companion in the restaurant despite having a reservation. I was sent out into the cold. This has never happened to me at 52 years old! The spaghetti was more than al dente. Otherwise the food was okay. The waiters were nice, only overwhelmed at times, which was certainly because it was full. I was there for the first time and for dessert I ordered the spaghetti ice cream advertised on the menu with "preparation at the table" for the proud price of just under 11 euros. The waiter refused to fulfill the order. Quote: "I usually do two of these in the evening, today there were already five or six and now I don't feel like it anymore." I initially thought it was a joke, but he repeated his statement a few times and stuck to it. Then he started trying to force me to try another dessert, which I of course refused. impudence. I've never experienced anything like that. Highly unprofessional. Well, we wanted to visit the restaurant again soon with a group of six people, but of course we're not doing that now. This means that around 300 euros in sales were lost.

Absolutely fantastic food! Many things are freshly prepared at the table. Unfortunately, the photos are too dark due to the cozy atmosphere/light of the restaurant. The food is really fantastic. The ambience is actually very good too. Points are deducted for the volume. We were there with 4 people and it was almost impossible to have a normal conversation.

The visit to Amici Miei was fabulous as always. The pasta and pizza are awesome and the wine is delicious too. I recommend the parmesan pasta with truffle oil. The ambience is modern, but sometimes a bit cluttered. The employees are friendly and sometimes have a joke on their faces. Reservations are definitely recommended.

The food is great, no question. The atmosphere is very romantic, also a plus. BUT! If someone can't tolerate or doesn't like tomato sauces and the menu specifically lists dishes with that sauce, HOW CAN IT HAPPEN that when you choose a dish that doesn't mention the sauce in the description, the food suddenly ends up dripping with tomatoes? The romantic mood was gone, the dinner and the date were a failure. It's a shame, I thought we had found a good "Italian" in our new area.

This time we were very disappointed. The food was ok, but not as good as usual. When I asked about Parmesan cheese, the waiter said: "I have a lot of Parmesan, but not for you, it doesn't go well with your food." 1. I would have liked to decide for myself how I liked my food and 2. the cheese should be for my daughter. The menu had parmesan for their pasta, which was unfortunately missing. In our eyes, this was an impossible behavior that we were really annoyed about.

The ambience at amici miei Ristorante Italiano is pleasant, both indoors and outdoors. The large selection on the menu and the reasonable prices are positive. Unfortunately our experience was marred by a hair in the carpaccio (starter), which of course wasn't appetizing. The overall food quality is OK, but this incident marred the overall impression. There is definitely room for improvement when it comes to hygiene.

Our service was very attentive and extremely friendly, the food was absolutely fantastically prepared and tasted even better and the ambience gave us a real sense of Italy. If you want perfect Italian cuisine - go there. Highly recommended are the carpacci and the pasta made from a parmesan wheel... oh actually EVERYTHING. It wasn't the last time we were there.

A really great restaurant with real Italian charm and excellent cuisine. Quick sayings, interaction with the neighboring tables... Here, eating isn't just fun for the sake of it. Pizzapane Bruschetta is a must! But you can't really do anything wrong. We don't have much interest in Hanover's city center anymore. However, we are happy to make the journey for an evening at Amici miuei.
