We were there and enjoyed so much their pho and bun riu, the personal it’s super friendly, we will come back!

Wonderful food, cozy atmosphere, and very kind owners and team, really lovely people who make you feel like family.

We were there last night and unfortunately, we didn't enjoy it. We were greeted by a man who seemed to say, "Go sit at one of the tables." We then ordered rice noodles with spring rolls and one with duck. We didn't like it. The food tasted of nothing and had hardly any flavor or sauce. It was just bland and indistinct. The ambiance with the plants would be nice if they were properly maintained. Otherwise, you end up sitting with the plants in your face. And the plastic placemats were sticky and dirty. We won't be coming back, unfortunately.

I was a tourist from Vietnam traveling in Konstanz and tried this restaurant that evening, hoping to find some authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Unfortunately, it was one of the most disappointing experiences I've ever had. The salad I ordered, "Nộm bắp cải," was anything but what you'd expect in a regular restaurant: carelessly presented, tasteless, and simply sloppily made. I then ordered "Bún bò Huế cay," and if this really was "Bún bò Huế," I don't want to know what people in Huế would think. The broth tasted like hot water, only tinged red with a little chili, with a few very small and thin slices of beef. No flavor, no depth, no soul. My friend ordered pho with fish, or "Phở cá." At first glance, it looked passable until I tasted it. The soup was nothing more than hot water with a few dry, fried pieces of fish, completely devoid of any seasoning or flavor. No trace of the typical warmth or aroma you'd expect from a real pho. Honestly, I don't know if you can even call this a "pho restaurant." Everything seems careless, rushed, and lacking any understanding of what Vietnamese food actually is. In all my years of traveling and tasting various cuisines, I've never experienced anything so sloppily prepared. If it were possible to give it zero stars, I would do so immediately, simply to warn others about this disappointment.

We went yesterday, in October 2025. The waiter was far from helpful. Apart from no seatings or greetings, there was only ‘what can I get you’ question after a good 10-minute wait for her to show up. Meanwhile I saw her bring the main course onto another table without the customers having had finished their starters. They were still eating, and the plates nearly dropped on the floor from not enough space on the table. After our super fast & cold order, the food was prepared pretty quickly. What got me when she brought the ancillary ginger, lime and chilli with my pho soup was that she kinda of hid the mini-plate in her fist squeezing the lime so much, I literally saw drops of lime falling down her hand as she was putting food on the table. Pretty disquieting. She did not speak good German at all, but one would expect at least a smile when we enter and go. Very cheap experience in this day and age.

We were not greeted warmly, and with a gesture reminiscent of "you can find something yourself back there." The spring rolls were very fine. The duck was not crispy, tough and dry, and we had two dishes with rice noodles that were disgustingly slimy, completely tasteless, and almost completely cooked to the point of dissolution. I have never had anything so disgusting before. The curry chicken was OK. The elderly, short lady was a truly unfriendly waitress, aloof with a spiteful expression, and immediately turned away despite our questions. None of the three of us were pleased at all! The most disgusting thing of all were the cutlery holders on the tables. The wooden chopsticks were unwrapped and had bite marks from all their predecessors. One paper napkin was completely crumpled and not new. We will never return.

My girlfriend left almost the entire plate. Mine was pretty tasteless too, and at €16 each, it wasn't even cheap. Very disappointing.

We went there for lunch during the week and had pho. The place is small with lots of plants, it's practically sitting in the jungle 😂 The pho was delicious and authentic, and great for the price! The service was extremely friendly and had a really funny, dry sense of humor. We also got a free Vietnamese coffee.

The pho I ate tasted like dish soup. It had no flavor at all. My colleague really enjoyed his rice dish. Unfortunately, I didn't.

I've never eaten such a bad Vietnamese dish. Honestly, I don't recommend it.

Food was underwhelming and served too fast which could be assumed that it’s precooked. Spring roll tasted bland, temperature only lukewarm and too oily - you can see the pool of oil on the plate. Pho didn’t taste authentic at all. Soup tasted like they used knorr. Super disappointed as the place looks like an authentic Vietnamese restaurant. The place isn’t clean - menu was sticky and the sauces is covered with dust.

It looked better than it tasted. Nice and very friendly service, but the food wasn't exactly my cup of tea. The noodle soups were okay. Rather simple, with a few flavor additives that weren't really necessary.

We always pick up the food.. everything is super delicious 🤤

Fun but a bit watery in the finish

Avoid lightning, run quickly, dim lights, a room full of oil smoke, a broken screen, Vietnamese spring rolls that you can’t stop biting when you serve them, cabbage salad served in an IKEA salad bowl from home, the stalks are too hard to bite and there is a large piece of ginger. , the bowl of Vietnamese rice noodle soup has gaps all around, the normal chopsticks in the chopstick cage are moldy, so you can only use disposable chopsticks that are reused🤢, the mango in the dessert cannot be bitten, and half of it fell outside, the magical presentation. If someone brought me here on a date to save money, I would immediately block them. Why didn’t I run away because it was raining heavily outside🫥

That was by far the worst experience I have had in Konstanz so far. We had two curries, both of which were absolutely not fresh and were extremely salty. I struggled with stomach pain and discomfort until the next day. The dishes were with us 3 minutes after we ordered - so we could imagine that the food couldn't be particularly fresh. The only positive thing is the low price. The ambience was also not good and the food was unreasonable.

Worst phở I've ever eaten and probably will eat. It's amazing how bad the soup was. Phở Bò with carrots and mushrooms? Plus no taste. My friend also got heartburn because of her Thịt Gà ốp Chảo with extra lime seeds Do yourself a favor, please find an alternative and avoid this store.

The curry is delicious and so is the bun!

Very bad restaurant, bad food and rude staff. I'll never go there again

We ordered the pho and curry with rice, and salad for starters. The pho was super salty. The salad was not really a salad. The food overall left a lot to be desired. The service was too fast, suggesting that the food was pre-cooked. The pleasant ambience cannot save this insipidity masquerading as Vietnamese food.

A nice restaurant in itself. Unfortunately the food was inauthentic and too salty. The service also leaves a lot to be desired. Unfriendly and inattentive. We felt like we were being ignored because the host served the tables around us but didn't pay any attention to us.

When it comes to the prices, the demands are really not high, but that's actually an unreasonable expectation. There is an unpleasant smell of chlorine in the “restaurant”. The tables are very dirty, I doubt that they clean them at least once a month. Unfortunately, the food is quite emotionless and was served on an old Teflon pan. The service was a complete disaster. We arrived at 8:30 p.m. and were almost chased away with rudeness. We have to order quickly because it will be “cleaned”. Opening times until 10 p.m. are probably not to be taken seriously. There's a nice young lady working there, but unfortunately that doesn't make it work. I definitely wouldn't want to experience it again.

I came in, saw the interior and immediately knew: it has to taste good here! It was like that too! We had 2 hot pan dishes and they went down very well.

We really enjoyed it! When we walked in we couldn't quite believe our eyes as the lunch menu was very affordable. They cost 8.50 to 9.50, which is really good. That means the two of us didn't even spend 30 euros on food and drinks. A little warning though: they only accept cash.

Food not authentic at all. Staff unfriendly. No card payment possible. Go somewhere else... Addendum: I had stomach pains all night. Terrible

You just feel comfortable eating pho very quickly. A warm, family environment is created here. The dishes are definitely adapted to the European palate, but are super tasty and always fresh. Absolutely recommended and great value for money.

Really underground, there was a fly in one food and a hair in another food. What we ate didn't taste like anything. We picked up the food and unfortunately threw most of it away.

Friendly welcome. Ultra fast service, the dishes arrive without even having finished the starter, it's surprising! The main thing is that the food was very good for a very reasonable price.

The place is in front of a very large electronics store, I was not very convinced because it is located right in the garage of the store but we decided to go in. It has some tables outside, but we ate inside. The place is full of plants, it has different soups and dishes with rice, vegetables and meat. The prices are consistent; We had a glass of soda, a beer, a soup and a plate (photo) and spent €30. The man who attended us was very kind. I am not an expert in this type of dishes, I can only say that I found it tasty and with fresh products. I recommend ;)

Nice Vietnamese restaurant. There is a good selection of dishes and drinks and it is beautifully decorated with lots of (tropical) plants. There is a good lunch menu. There is good Vietnamese coffee. The Pho was very good. The dish with noodles, chicken and mango was a bit lacking in "oomph", but there were plenty of sauces and chili paste available.

The food was very tasty. The ambience is sweet. Lots of plants and bamboo accents. Not only the food but also the lady who served us was authentic 😄

Lovely food, cozy atmosphere and fast, efficient service! But it was a bit strange to have food served straight in a non-stick frying pan, from which I could only use metal spoons to scoop out the curry...

The food was really good and cheap. The ambience has its own flair which makes the stay special. I would complain about the long waiting time and the broken porcelain. Parts of the plates were broken. However, due to the low prices, they can be forgiven. (Cash payment only possible) We would visit the restaurant again and recommend it to others.

Super cute restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. The plants inside give an exciting jungle vibe and a cozy feeling. The plants also split up the tables so you have privacy from the tables next to you. The music playing was very serene and traditional. The food was tasty and would come back. The washrooms were very clean and did not stink. The menu was quite small, so if you aren't in the mood for rice, noodles, or soup, then this is not the restaurant for you. However, if you are in the mood, I recommend the visit.

This place has a really authentic atmosphere with a lot of plants inside and the owner is a really nice guy so it's difficult to not to give 5 stars. We had a dinner with 4 people; had the summer and spring rolls and beef pho. Pho was a bit salty and had a lot of veggies like broccoli and carrots which could be replaced with more beef. The prices are reasonable and the service is ok.

The host was very friendly and accommodating, the food was very good and the portions were very generous. The prices were also very fair. I would love to go back at any time🙏🏻

Great cyclists at Pho in Konstanz! We highly recommend the Bún chay with vegetarian spring rolls. These are rice noodles with fresh vegetables.

Vi fik forårsruller og pho bo, nudelsuppe med oksekød. Det er den dårligste pho bo, vi nogensinde har fået. En tynd suppe med for få nudler og ganske lidt kød og ingredienser såsom gulerødder og broccoli, der ikke hører hjemme i en pho. Langt fra den kvalitet man må forvente på en vietnamesisk restaurant. Forårsrullerne var også af en meget dårlig kvalitet. Stedet kan absolut ikke anbefales.

Ins Pho zum Mittagessen gehen ist ein bisschen wie ... nach Hause kommen. Es ist nicht alles perfekt aber das Essen ist immer prima, leicht, bekömmlich. Ich gehe gerne hier hin und wurde noch nie enttäuscht!

牛肉河粉9.9欧，比较小一份 女生刚好能吃完，味道无功无过 这个价钱也不能说什么了 春卷和米纸卷都是4.9一份 店里通风非常不好，油炸的烟味非常大不是很舒服。 以及小桌子也太低了，吃米粉需要全程弯腰低头很不舒服 最最奇怪的是筷子，竹筒里都是各种已经被打开的一次性筷子，而且没有一双是配对的…… 感觉应该不太能用的感觉。

Das Essen war sehr lecker und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis super. Die Musik war ein bisschen zu laut deswegen bei Ambiente nur 4 Sterne, aber der Rest war top.

Die Gerichte waren nicht lecker, nach der Bestellung wurden sie sehr schnell serviert. Ich hatte den Eindruck, dass nicht mit frischen Produkten zubereitet wurde. Die Bedienung war rustikal. Wir gehen nicht ein weiteres Mal dorthin.

Ein sehr schönes Vietnamesisches Restaurant mit einer kleinen Speisekarte. Die Sitzplätze innen für schön mit ganz vielen Pflanzen umgeben. Die Aussensitzplätzen sind auch sehr schön bewachsen. Das Essen ist authentisch und schmackhaft.

Sehr gut, kommen wieder. Barzahlung muss man aber auf dem Schirm haben. Das ist etwas schade, inzwischen ist kartenzahlung eigentlich die Regel. Service und essen waren top: Schnell, Lecker, gemütlich, fairer preis und nett.

Leider war die Kellnerin nicht mit dem Minimum an Höflichkeit vertraut: Nachdem ich eingetreten bin und sie mit einem Lächeln begrüßt habe, starrte sie mich nur an. Ich musste einige Zeit warten, bis sie sich unfreundlich an mich richtete. Da fühlt man sich nicht willkommen! Sehr schade, denn das Essen ist in Ordnung und das Restaurant selbst sehr schön eingerichtet. Der Herr ab der Kasse war ebenfalls sehr nett. Dies konnte den schlechten ersten Eindruck, der sich auch durch die Bedienung gezogen hat, leider nicht mehr gut machen. Ich hoffe, die Dame hatte einfach nur einen schlechten Tag und verhält sich nicht immer so.

Very good small Vietnamese food restaurant. It's not fancy, but it has some special atmosphere, big plants (inside and outside) are giving it a feeling of a small corner in the jungle.

Wir kommen seit Jahren immer wieder sehr gerne hier her. Das Essen ist stets frisch zubereitet und schmeckt sehr lecker. Das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam, der Inhaber findet immer ein paar persönliche Worte, auch wenn er im Stress ist.

Die Pho ist super authentisch und lecker. Man sitzt gemütlich und man kann direkt davor parken. Gerne wieder.

Bevor ich hier essen war, habe ich die negativen Rezensionen gelesen und mich dann trotzdem getraut. Gegessen haben wir Pho mit Fisch und Schweinefleich (zwei Gerichte). Die Qualität und der Geschmack waren sehr gut, die Nudeln authentisch. Am Tisch ist alles vorhanden, wenn man den Geschmack individuell weiter beeinflussen möchte, Fischsauce, div. Chilisaucen, Soyasauce, Tamarindenpaste. Die Gemüsezutaten in der Suppe waren neben klassischen asiatischen Gemüsen (Soyasprossen, Chinakohl) europäisch orientiert (u.a. Karotte). Ich finde das nicht problematisch und sehe es als eine Art Fusion-Kitchen, eine kulturelle Aneignung des Gastlandes. Auch in San Jose, dem Ort mit der grössten vietnamesischen Gemeinde ausserhalb Vietnams bemerkt man den amerikanischen Einfluss in der Pho. Das Restaurant ist familiengeführt, was mir auch sympathisch war. Der Besitzer hat einen etwas trockenen Stil, gleichzeitig war er nicht unfreundlich und wir haben alle Sonderwünsche anstandslos erfüllt bekommen. Sehr schön ist auch die sehr grüne Terrasse. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut, wenn ich wiedermal in Konstanz bin, werde ich die anderen Gerichte probieren.
