No!! ...this isn't a burger joint, it's a bad MCD copy. Burgers: We couldn't finish the discount buns, frozen patties and cheap sauces. Fries: Dead-fried Then save money and walk 50m further. Anyone expecting Fette Kuh, Freddy Schilling & Co. will be massively disappointed. Better not.

We always like to come back! The service is always super friendly and accommodating, you feel very welcome! The food is always super delicious, I'm so excited about the vegetarian burger with halloumi patty. The fries, which taste very natural and are well seasoned, are always great. I deducted a star from the ambience because the music was a bit too loud for us at times. But that's a matter of taste :D Highly recommended, many thanks to the great team!

Review for a burger joint I was recently at the burger joint and I have to say: it doesn't get any better than this! The service was great from start to finish – super friendly, quick and always attentive. The team really seems to enjoy their work and ensures that you as a guest immediately feel at home. About the burger: Quality is very important here. The smashed burger was to die for! Perfectly grilled, juicy and with a taste that is unrivaled. You can immediately tell that fresh ingredients are used here and a lot of attention goes into detail. The combination of tender meat, perfectly crispy bun and fresh toppings was simply a delight. The best? The store is actually between Burger King and McDonald’s – and still packed! Do I need to say more? If you like really good burgers, you definitely shouldn't miss this place! 🫶

Average burger with room for improvement. The sauce could have been stronger and more, there was too much lettuce on it. It was okay but it didn't stand out. The fries had a strange aftertaste and were also not seasoned enough. The card payment and the drink refills are positive. Unfortunately the service wasn't good. The store wasn't very busy, I had to wait a long time at the checkout to order even though there was no one else in line. From the time I ordered the burger it took over half an hour until it was ready. Meanwhile, you can see the employees standing around in the kitchen and chatting. It was also very cold in the restaurant because the door was open.

Bessma is the best. They forgot to give us the fries and gave us two extra sauce, something like that is not a given at other restaurants. The employee was really extremely nice and talked to us a little without seeming intrusive. We will 100% come again.

I was eating at the store. Ordering is very easy as the menu is very minimalistic and that's exactly right. I personally liked the food very much, I had a double burger in the menu with fries and a drink. You can refill the drinks yourself. All in all, this is a great quick bite

1. Food: Unfortunately the food was disappointing. The burger was soggy and had mostly the taste of soft cheese, which made the entire dish unappetizing. 2. Service: There was no classic service. You order the burger yourself, pick it up and are also responsible for clearing it away, which is not what you expect from a restaurant visit. 3. Ambience: The ambience seemed cold and uncomfortable, with hard benches that made the stay uninviting. We found the shared toilets for men and women particularly annoying. It was awkward that the sinks were right next to the urinals, which led to unwanted encounters.

Delicious food and very good value for money! The cheeseburger bread is very fluffy. The burger is not overstuffed so nothing falls out while eating. The meat is juicy and the vegetables are very fresh. You can taste the quality; Cheese is warm and full-bodied in taste. The fries are crispy, a little greasy, but still very tasty. Orders are placed at the front of the counter and food can also be picked up there. It costs less than €10 per person if you share a chip or a drink. Music is a little louder. In summary, great value for money! And even tastier than most burger shops.

Quite okay, nothing more. Fries were limp, but okay. Burgers weren't of the best quality, but okay. Service wasn't quick, but okay. If you know good burger shops, you'll leave Phatburgers with a "pretty okay" feeling in all areas.

Burger was good, fries were good, although to be honest one piece of fries was moldy. Drinks with refill option. Close to public transport. Conclusion: Very clean and cheap, service was nice, only a rotten piece of fries is a big negative point.

I would recommend the citizens' menu, as this is the most worthwhile in terms of price-performance ratio. The atmosphere in the store is very pleasant and the music is very appropriate. There was nothing wrong with the burger. Unfortunately, the fries were a bit soggy and at the same time very oily - the deep fryer was probably not quite hot yet. I find it strange that when I pay I am asked to decide on a tip amount. How should I decide how much to tip if I don't even know how the food tasted?

The burgers tasted really good and the drink as a refill was very positive, it should definitely be available more often and be more widespread.

My husband and I went to Phatburgers for the first time today. And we have eaten much better burgers in Cologne. The burgers are very small and the fries just don't work at all!!! These were the worst fries we have ever eaten. Our recommendation for good, high-quality burgers and fries would be 3h's and EtManus Burger. Both also Helal.

It's been a long time since I've had such a delicious burger! You can taste that everything is homemade. We came to Cologne from Wiesbaden specifically to try the burger and we were not disappointed! The staff was so incredibly welcoming and kind! Only recommended.

This is by far the best burger place I've been to. The staff are super friendly and even though it was my first time here, I felt so comfortable. The food is great and the prices are fair. The trip from Aachen to Cologne was 100% worth it and I would advise everyone to come here at least once.

Hello dear burger lovers, I don't want to exaggerate, but we drove quite a bit from Aachen to Cologne (70km = 1 hour drive) to eat here at Phatburgers. That was the best decision, we really enjoyed the burgers and the homemade fries. The service is fantastic, how friendly they are. EVERYONE TO HERERRRR!!!!!

I had the vegetarian burger - it was good. But the fries were a bit soggy and not that fresh. Otherwise everything was fine. I think it's cool that if you buy the menu you can refill the drink as often as you like. The burger shop is directly opposite a stop - so easy to reach.

The burger wasn't as good as everyone says. Staff was rude. Should write a good review. I got ice cream for it and it was delicious. We should turn it into an ice cream parlor.

I was there on September 6th for the lunch shift. The two employees were very friendly, committed and conjured up really great food. The service and welcome were friendly. I come here often and feel very comfortable eating my burgers in the cool atmosphere. I would recommend the location to everyone and look forward to my future visits
