Super tasty burgers, side dishes (fries, coleslaw) were also great. There was an extra Kids Burger for the children. Everything was fresh but prepared very quickly. We loved it and would definitely come back!

The food is super tasty and for a very good price. Almost every burger is also available as a veggi/beef/chicken version. It's small and cozy. Very nice/friendly staff.

During my stay in Cologne I stopped by chance in this small place and I couldn't have made a better choice. I had the opportunity to taste a really tasty Cheeseburger accompanied by excellent french fries (choices separately) and a good bottled beer. Really tasty food that has nothing to do with cheap fast food chains. The surrounding square is also beautiful. Prices more than satisfactory. If you are in the area and are hungry, then give it a try!

Can't understand these positive reviews at all. The meat on the burger was completely unseasoned, gristly and really didn't look tasty. The poutine had a real cheese plate on top that you could hardly eat. The fries were also unseasoned, undercooked and soggy. Seemed like experimenting on yourself in your own kitchen when you come home drunk at night. Sidenote: The place wasn't full, there were only 2 tables occupied.

Great sandwiches and fries! We ordered the BBQ bacon burger and the fried chicken Italian job, along with the poutine sloppy Joe. All were delicious! The burger was cooked very well, had a great consistency, and all toppings and seasoning were spot on! The fried chicken sandwich was huge and very delicious. The fries were great as well. The sloppy Joe was seasoned very well with very flavorful tomatoes coming through. The cheese paired perfectly with the items underneath. A must visit if you're in Cologne.

One of the nicest fries I've tried in a store. Burgers equally satisfying. Good prices. It is self service. You place your order, pay and you can sit at the tables, either outside or inside the shop, to eat.

Unfortunately there was no Kölsch when I visited. Orders are placed at the counter and picked up there after calling up the order number. You can eat inside or outside at tables.

Best burgers we’ve had yet in all of Europe! Small place on the square with limited indoor seating but nice seating outdoors. The spicy chicken habanero sandwich was fantastic and my wife’s burger was on point. Great chips and local Afri cola served which is nice! Definitely try this place if you are in the area and craving a gourmet burger!

Burgers were ok, fries were good. The barbecue sauce is not a classic barbecue sauce! Unfortunately, this is a bit flabby and the burger lacks a special seasoning.

The cheeseburger with veggie patty tasted delicious. The bun in particular seemed homemade. The fries were also excellent. All in all, totally recommended.

I went to Five Guys because it had a high rating, but it wasn't tasty. McDonald's is better. It has no taste. It was the most tasteless food I had this year. It's just really tasteless. There is no Coca-Cola and the brand is unknown.

There is cartilage in the minced meat, citizens are not fried medium, seasoned too little. Quality was clearly better 3 years ago than it is today. Very unfortunate.

Maybe the best burger out of the hundreds I've ever tried. The meat is so soft and juicy. Bun brioche and soft. They make excellent homemade chimicurri sauce. All the best

Were there today. Fast service. Good taste. (The chicken patty in particular was super cross.) Fair price. I can only recommend.

The food is really delicious and freshly prepared. The selection of dishes was good, there were also vegetarian dishes on the menu. The restaurant is self-service. The walls were just glass doors so it was really cold and quite drafty.

In short, simply big and very tasty burgers. For me the best burger place so far. My son and I had the hamburger and the habanero burger. Above all, the meat is fried and not deep fried. The meat is fried between medium and well done. The quality of the burgers was very good and the craftsmanship was very good. The ketchup tasted like it was homemade (probably it was). The fries were also homemade. The portion (burger and fries) is really big and it really fills you up. However, the habanero burger wasn't overly spicy (although I like to eat a lot of spicy food); I found it spicy. The only drawback is that at some point someone from inside calls out the number (maybe shouts) that food #123 is ready for pickup. Since the Old Market is not a quiet place, you sometimes cannot hear the call from the kitchen. An outdoor display would help... The ambience inside is quaint, rustic and sitting with the outdoor seating on the old market is of course great. There are about 20 seats outside. I will definitely come back and try the other beef and chicken burgers.

Had the Greek style poutine and yes, the pain of the discrepancy is particularly high when you realize that yes, they made an effort and chose a high-quality frozen product, but it just has nothing to do with fries from Greece. Then I ate my daughter's children's burger and it got better. The low-quality ketchup was particularly irritating, really gel-like instead of creamy, tomato-like. The buns are nothing special (except that you use pretzel rolls for some reason (marketing?)), they are rather negatively sticky. Patty cannot be compared to Fat Cow. When delivered, the paper sticks unusually tightly to the burger. My husband thinks his BBQ burger wasn't smokey enough for him. There are better burgers, I was blinded by the price - it's ok for Cologne.

My son and I were there today We tested several shops and this one was by far the best, the meat was cooked to perfection, really tasty and juicy Price/performance absolutely satisfied Unfortunately the ambience only gets 3 stars because the shop (inside) is very small, but still has an outdoor area

We were there in the early evening and it wasn't busy. The cheeseburger and the Kölsche Jung were very, very tasty. The fries could have used a little more browning, but they were also good. The ambience still needs work. We will be back.

In a very central location, you can eat the tastiest burgers in the area at a reasonable price in a beautiful, modern and clean atmosphere. The staff is always friendly. I can only recommend this shop!

Staff was nice and it is a self-service fast food kind of place. Beware there are not a lot of seats. The burger itself was not bad but I was expecting a bit more. It looks enticing for sure but the BBQ burger had a handmade sauce that did not really tasted like BBQ so it kind of spoiled the burger. Bacon was good though. With all the ingredients the burger was also falling apart. So overall, a bit disappointed of the burger, we were looking forward to it. But if you are around the area I would advice to try them out still they have choice.

(-) Gastraum teilweise etwas beengt, wenn viel los ist Insgesamt war ich mit dem Besuch sehr zufrieden, komme gerne wieder und kann diesen Burger-Laden weiterempfehlen. Realistisch wären meiner Meinung nach ca. 4,6 von 5 möglichen Sterne.

War sehr teuer, nicht besonders gut. Pommes labberig und extra maio und Ketschup schmecken nicht. Fleisch war gut, aber Burger an sich zu teuer , Pommes extra und teuer … für 4 Burger mit 2 Pommes und 4 Sodas rund 65€… heftig . Kommen nicht wieder . Laden schmuddelig … Toiletten …

Für die majo und den Ketchup müssten wir 1,60 extra bezahlen und es wurde vorher nichts gesagt.

Ich habe den Burger wegen der guten Bewertungen probieren wollen. Leider wurde ich maßlos enttäuscht. Das Personal empfand ich als unfreundlich. Das Fleisch war Lasch gewürzt und schmeckte nicht nach guten Fleisch wie ich es z.b. vom Metzger gewohnt bin. Die Brötchen waren auch relativ lasch und mit wenig Substanz. Schade.. eine Enttäuschung.

Wow, ein absolut leckerer und schöner Burgerladen. Wir waren 2 Abende in Köln und waren an beiden Tagen zum Abendessen dort, die Burger richtig lecker, das Beef noch etwas rot und sehr saftig - fande ich richtig gut (wer das mag, ist hier richtig!), die Poutine nur zu empfehlen. Es ist Selbstbedienung, was aber uns nicht gestört hat, die Tische waren sauber, die Bedienung an der Kasse sehr nett. Zu Stoßzeiten und mit einer größeren Gruppe spontan vorbeizukommen hat evtl. etwas Wartezeit da der Laden nicht so groß ist und dadurch wenige Sitzplätze hat - ca. 20 Stück(?). Selten so gute Burger gegessen - wir hatten Fräulein Herborths Burger (mit Beef und Chicken), Fräulein Greek Burger und Tante Chimmichoo Burger (wers schärfer mag, der ist es) + Poutine Sloppy Joe und Poutine Fräulein Herborths - beides auch sehr sehr lecker und die Portion reicht für 2 mit je einem Burger! Große Empfehlung für den Burgerladen :)
