Good burgers and interesting combinations. Every burger is also available in a variety of vegetarian options. Gluten-free costs €2 extra, which I don't think is necessary. The taste is fantastic, delicious, and juicy!

I've been eating/ordering here on and off for years and have never been disappointed by the burgers and fries! I've recommended the place many times and don't really know anyone who doesn't like eating here. Today I ordered a Caesar salad and Krispies nuggets. The nuggets were great, but the lettuce had a few too many brown spots on the leaves that came from the outer part of the lettuce head, and it wasn't particularly crispy either. Too bad, I'm a bit disappointed for the first time!

The food and atmosphere were actually excellent for the price! However, the waitress (a blond, athletic, young man) smelled strongly of alcohol, which spoiled my appetite for both me and my pregnant wife.

Not only are the burgers incredibly delicious, the service is also outstanding. Super tasty food and very attentive staff. I'll definitely be back.

Catering experience at its best! Freddy Schilling catered our company party with their incredibly good burgers, delicious fries, and top-notch coleslaw salad. From the first conversation to the last burger, it was a truly pleasant experience and a top-notch service. The grills on the roof terrace were blazing hot, and the smart guys at the grill were happy to fulfill every request, including vegan options. From now on, you won't be able to get rid of us; we'll do it again!

Good price for burgers, not the best ones but really decent

Unfortunately, it's not like it used to be. I happened to be back here after 10 years – great back then, disappointing now. No greeting, unfriendly, cashier seemed stressed. !! As soon as you pay by card (€18), you're pressured (!!!) to tip even though you haven't received or tried anything yet. (I usually like to tip.) Waited 20 minutes for a bland, cold burger: thin patty, no toppings at all (just a couple of diced onions, no lettuce, nothing at all, zero flavor. A microwave burger from the supermarket would probably have been better. Didn't even finish it. A real shame, NEVER AGAIN.

I heard about Freddy Schilling through a recommendation and was immediately impressed – especially by the delicious burgers! The prices are absolutely fair and the staff very friendly. I especially liked the fact that the server even addressed me by my first name when serving the food – it made the visit a personal and pleasant experience. I highly recommend Freddy Schilling to everyone!

Nice burger place. You can get gluten free bun which costs 2 euro . Free fries before 17.00 in the weekdays.

The burger and fries were good, though not exactly a highlight. But there's a reason I'll never go back to that place. The two of us waited 65 minutes for our food. I was told it would take 30 to 40 minutes when I ordered. That's an absolute no-no. Takeout and delivery services get priority in the kitchen. That was obvious.

I didn't eat there myself. I discovered it through a recommendation and cooperation with the Piranha Bar. There were even "table" signs there for you to order. We were treated almost as if we had ordered there, only not on plates, but as a delivery. First impression: the burger packaging was amazing... And then we had our plate. I've had a few burgers since then, but I particularly like the goat's lettuce, simply an incredibly awesome combination. There were also some really tasty special burgers in between. Delicious selection of sauces (homemade). The side dishes are also top-notch. A friend told me that the Krispi Chicken Caesar Salad would even fill a grown man. Sometimes the patty selection when ordering is a bit confusing, but you can handle it. All in all, I would/will eat here again and again. No one who ordered with me was disappointed.

For a Sunday, the food came super quickly. I had the Köllefornia Burger with the Beyond Meat patty, and it was one of the best patties I've ever eaten. The fries were an 11/10, and the truffle mayo is highly recommended. Service was great, and the staff were super friendly. 10/10 experience

Used to be one of my favorites in Cologne, but with the new menu they removed the smashburgers and the amazing cheese sauce. Not the same as it used to be

One of the best burgers in Köln that is worth it for the price. The place is small and has outdoor seating mostly so it can be crowded on weekends. I recommend the smash burger. It's delicious.

Super tasty burgers in a relaxed atmosphere.

Delivery services are preferred to local customers. Waiting times of 50 minutes+ for an order for 3 people. Even though the burgers taste good, the ratio isn't right, hence the bad rating. The waitress is of the opinion that it is not the job of the “restaurant” to point out the long waiting times to customers. Instead, customers should proactively inquire about the waiting time in a fast food store.

I regularly picked up burgers here and ate them on site and the taste is always above average. Now on a Friday evening after standard ordering we waited for almost 1 hour and without any information in advance. This was the case with all visitors on site and there were constant inquiries, communication from the staff was extremely weak. In my opinion, if you know it will take that long, you should say at the time you place your order that it will take just under an hour. Then the visitor has the chance to decide for himself whether he wants to stay instead of paying in advance. It is also interesting that the couriers from the ordering services get the dishes promptly, while the local customers are at their mercy.

Food was super tasty. Service would have earned 6 stars. A bit small inside, otherwise everything is tipi topi.

Supers burgers avec de bons produits frais ça se sent! Les frites sont parfaites! Croustillantes à souhait, accompagnées d’une petite sauce légèrement épicée faite maison juste au top! Le service est super sympas, les serveurs sont Chill et relax, même avec les touristes et ça c’est chouette !

For me, this is the best burger joint in Cologne! The burgers are incredibly delicious, and you can taste the high-quality ingredients used. A small but perfectly formed joint with very friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. I definitely recommend it!

I had a stomach ache and indigestion after eating and wouldn't eat here again

Too bad. Ultimately, I have to change the review to negative. I'm a regular customer several times a week and therefore closely observe the impending doom. Last night, however, had the pinnacle of all bad moments. Waited 40-50 minutes for the food even though it was almost deserted! Unfortunately, takeout orders were prioritized! Then came the burger, which was so over-salted that I almost threw up... no lie! The fries are unfortunately not the same anymore! Better yet, there were even fewer fries made from potatoes! Now they're just fries made from a kind of puree! Tastes like the fries at any standard burger joint! The cheese on the burger was cold (probably forgotten and quickly slapped on at the end), and coleslaw was forgotten! In the end, we paid almost 50 euros for two people, only to wait 50 minutes for a burger with cold cheese that was way too salty! And the chicken burger was spicy? Since when is it spicy? I just ate a completely different chicken burger than usual... I have to say, there wasn't a single person there who's usually there! So, on a Monday evening, there was a team there that isn't usually there... a shame.

Were there a second time in winter. We had to sit outside because it was full, but the service was great and brought blankets and seat cushions. A heater was also available. The service was the same as last time and recognized us straight away. The children and we were very satisfied again and can't complain about anything. I can only recommend a visit. The waitress came with art supplies for the children. which made it easier for us to choose food from the menu in peace. There were many options that were gluten free. It was just mega. The burgers were delicious and filling. The fries, which are made from fresh potatoes, were very notable. The nuggets are also highly recommended. And if you're thirsty, you should definitely take the house lemon tea. He's super leggy. We will definitely come back.

Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal und überraschend gutes Ambiente. Gerne jederzeit wieder. Bei den Pommes Frites merkt man, dass sie nicht aus der Metro kommen, sondern selbstgemacht sind.

I have rarely regretted not eating a burger. But your salad with the crispy chicken was terrific. Plus a gigantic portion of fries, free refill of the sauce - it was mega! I'd love to come back! Yes, it was expensive, but very good :)

The normal burgers are very tasty, but the smashburger was a failure. The potato bun is way too thick, dry and bready; The meat is not caramelized at all because it hasn't been smashed enough and is therefore not a real smash burger. Unfortunately, absolutely “won’t and can’t”

Really very tasty burgers with lots of vegan options. Unfortunately, I had to argue several times to get the burger I chose (which cannot be veganized 1:1) vegan. You have to steadfastly argue against the argument "it's no longer the same burger" and have to rely a little on the creativity of the employee (I wanted the Köllefornia burger. In my opinion, that would have been possible with vegan cheese, other sauces and without a fried egg. Got a great new meat burger that came with excellent service.

Really strong burger, absolutely delicious and to the point. The team was extremely relaxed and friendly, you immediately felt at home. And as if that wasn't enough, I also got a burger on the house - you don't get to experience something like that very often. All in all a great experience, I can only recommend it!

The experience today was very disappointing. For an order of two burgers and one fries to take away, I had to wait almost 1 hour on site without any indication that it would take longer. At home I discovered that they were also the wrong burgers!! The store seems to be overwhelmed by the increased orders from delivery services!

So we called early and were still allowed to wait 45 minutes on site. The food looked delicious but no service at all.

Simply the hottest burgers in all of Cologne. I've now tried out the menu and first of all, I think the selection is really good. There really is a burger for every taste. The offer on Kyffhäuserstr. was simply awesome.

Maybe let it rest in aluminum foil for a moment to make it slobbery. - Tomatoes weren't as powerful as one would like

Went there shortly after closing time, unfortunately the checkout was already “closed”. After begging for a while to see if we could at least have a few more sweet potatoes, one of the bosses simply packed us some super tasty fries for free plus three sauces. Judge good man and a good shop. Next time we'll pay something for it too 🫶🏻

The best cheeseburger I've ever eaten. The best thing about it: It's a completely normal cheeseburger without any strange extras, like the ones you know and love from American fast food chains from your childhood - only tasty and without chemicals. At €10 per piece it's a bit more expensive, but with the taste it's worth stopping by on Sundays and public holidays and spending money.

The burger is a matter of taste, I didn't like it. The fries were fried in old oil, were very full of old fat and tasted absolutely delicious. A disgrace for the price. The homemade iced tea, way too overpriced and way too sweet. I didn't like it. We asked the service if it would take longer because we had a tight schedule and trusted that it would take 10 min. In the end it was 35 minutes that we waited.

The food is very good. When we ask for ingredients to be changed, they charge us, even though the menu says that they can be changed. The place is very small, there is hardly any place to sit inside. For all these reasons, good food, but somewhat expensive in terms of service.

Freddy Schilling is simply delicious! The burgers are fresh, juicy and incredibly well prepared. You can feel the quality of the ingredients in every bite. The homemade sauces and side dishes are a real highlight. The service is quick and friendly, and the atmosphere in the store is relaxed and cool. An absolute must for burger lovers – everything is just right here!

Really happy that I had a really good vegan NewMeat patty on my cheeseburger and not the sad kidney bean/vegetable mush that you often find on vegetarian burgers. It was really good, fries and truffle mayo were also great.
