Burgers are simply great, staff are in a great mood and very friendly and accommodating.

Super friendly and authentic staff, self-service (therefore deductions for service, but I personally think it's good) and a really tasty burger!! That's why the criticism here is at a very high level - on site - Sweet Potato Fries: Very tasty, sauces also great, but unfortunately they don't stay crispy for very long Double smashed cheese burger 8.5: Positive: - awesome meat taste with a salt kick from start to finish - Delicious cheese - Good sauces - Cucumbers had a great acidity and onions were fresh and tasty Criticism: - Bread was a bit too dry at first. Maybe let it rest in aluminum foil for a moment to make it slobbery. - Tomatoes weren't as powerful as one would like

Went there shortly after closing time, unfortunately the checkout was already “closed”. After begging for a while to see if we could at least have a few more sweet potatoes, one of the bosses simply packed us some super tasty fries for free plus three sauces. Judge good man and a good shop. Next time we'll pay something for it too 🫶🏻

The best cheeseburger I've ever eaten. The best thing about it: It's a completely normal cheeseburger without any strange extras, like the ones you know and love from American fast food chains from your childhood - only tasty and without chemicals. At €10 per piece it's a bit more expensive, but with the taste it's worth stopping by on Sundays and public holidays and spending money.

Top shop. Nice service and delicious burgers. What more could you want?

The burger is a matter of taste, I didn't like it. The fries were fried in old oil, were very full of old fat and tasted absolutely delicious. A disgrace for the price. The homemade iced tea, way too overpriced and way too sweet. I didn't like it. We asked the service if it would take longer because we had a tight schedule and trusted that it would take 10 min. In the end it was 35 minutes that we waited.

The food is very good. When we ask for ingredients to be changed, they charge us, even though the menu says that they can be changed. The place is very small, there is hardly any place to sit inside. For all these reasons, good food, but somewhat expensive in terms of service.

Freddy Schilling makes the best burgers and fries. What's more, the employees are so friendly. Where else would the employee warn you that you may have ordered too much. I'm like, "It's all good, I'll take the burger with me if necessary and eat it tomorrow." Someone actually put the guest's interests above the store's financial interests. This has become so rare. The Habibi Burger is no longer on the menu and the portions are simply too small :( Damn

Really happy that I had a really good vegan NewMeat patty on my cheeseburger and not the sad kidney bean/vegetable mush that you often find on vegetarian burgers. It was really good, fries and truffle mayo were also great.

Freddy Schilling is simply delicious! The burgers are fresh, juicy and incredibly well prepared. You can feel the quality of the ingredients in every bite. The homemade sauces and side dishes are a real highlight. The service is quick and friendly, and the atmosphere in the store is relaxed and cool. An absolute must for burger lovers – everything is just right here!

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Almost all the burgers can be gluten free and were very tasty. Also the sweet potato fries had a much better texture than most.

Wer einen guten Burger sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Im Gegensatz zu anderen eher geradlinig und freundlich. So muss es sein.

Great menu with lots of different burger and sandwich options. Both fries are good and salad was fresh. Definitely recommend trying all the dipping sauces including the chipotle mayo.

In my opinion, the best burger in town. But this is largely due to the team at the store! The insider tip are the nuggets with truffle mayo, if you're lucky enough and they aren't sold out yet :b

We ordered through Wolt today. Unfortunately the smash burger was very dry. The remaining burgers were delicious. Unfortunately the fries have been changed. The fries used to be very tasty and much larger. Now they are thin little mini fries, more like hard dry “leftovers”. What a shame! Especially for the price!

The habibi burger was the best burger in town. It's a shame you took it out :(

Visited Freddy Schilling again after a few years. Unfortunately not completely convinced this time. The portion was a bit smaller, especially with the goat's peter, and the taste wasn't as fantastic as before. Unfortunately, Bruno's Brenner has been removed from the map. The service is still great and the staff is very friendly. The food also came quickly.

Delicious burger. I think this place sells the best burgers in Cologne. The price is not expensive. A burger, French fries with sauce, and a drink are only 18 euros per person, so I recommend it if the quality is this good. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because the texture of the bread and French fries is soft rather than crunchy, but I personally prefer the crunchy texture. But it's definitely a good burger restaurant. The restaurant is not large so there are not many seats. You can sit outside in the summer, but it may be difficult to secure a seat in the winter. The staff are not friendly. It took too long to figure out whether to take orders at the table or at the register.

It's one of the trendy places here. Really good. Ankara looks like a hoop burger in unity.

Amazing food and very friendly staff.

The burgers and fries are usually delicious and the staff is friendly too. However, it is partly a matter of luck whether the food tastes good. The quality is not consistent. Finally, my burger was completely unsalted and the fries were floury and dripping with fat. There were also more fried crumbs than fries. This has happened a few times. This didn't happen before. There was also an offer to make new fries, but you shouldn't even put them out there. Nowadays you pay significantly more and I no longer find that acceptable. In fact, there is no toilet either.

High-quality food in organic quality (uncharted territory), as we still put our hands into the production ourselves. Fries were very good, the sweet potato fries were particularly well received, which rarely happens otherwise. Friendly crew, completely acceptable waiting time, reasonable price, everything was great. Seating is rare and mostly in front of the door. We were lucky, but waiting while standing seems to be normal. The journey was definitely worth it!

I like it there. The burgers are delicious, I can get almost any item prepared vegan. Ordering is easy, Staff is friendly, music isn't too loud, chips are crispy what more would I want?

Honestly the best (chicken) burger in the city!! Plus the place is such a vibe. The service is always friendly too. I’d recommend their crispy chicken burger. I would even say to say they have the best fried chicken in Cologne. Seriously, it was that good hehe 💗

I've been coming here for years when I'm in Cologne. Especially because of the gluten-free burger bun variant - a dream in combination with the KKQ sauce. Still one of the tastiest burgers I've eaten.

I've eaten A LOT of burgers in my time and the Kollefornia (play on California haha) burger I had at Freddy Schilling is one of the juiciest and tastiest I've had. Staff were friendly and even though I didnt speak a word of German, helped to point out the deals that they had. limited seating but great busy atmosphere, watching the guys in the kitchen turn the orders around quickly. If I'm ever in Cologne again, will definitely come back.

Went there for the first time yesterday, tried many burger shops in Cologne, mostly nothing special, ate great burgers and great fries here, very friendly staff, TOP!

It is and always will be my number one burger joint. Bruno's distiller with extra cheese. It doesn't take me five minutes to finish it. Nowhere else am I as satisfied every time as I am here, you have to try it once!

Unfortunately not enough seating. Service takes a long time and it makes little sense to accept food by name instead of numbering the tables and doing so. Unfortunately, the portion size is also small

Although the food looked great I’ve had better tasting burgers for cheaper. Was quite a quick wait to get a table though was busy (it’s a sharing tables kind of place) and staff were friendly. Would go back but would order plain fries and a spicer burger if they do one. I ordered the hot honey chicken but had too much honey and too little heat for my tastes.

Also offer gluten-free burgers. Great importance is attached to contamination-free preparation. The burgers also taste very good. Price-wise, it's also completely okay.

Always worth a visit. Insane burgers in a manageable variety. I've been there for the third time and I'm still thrilled. The service is friendly and (depending on the company) will check afterwards whether you liked it. For those who like to experiment, the special is always worth a try. The portions are ideal for those who are very hungry and have very tasty side dishes (must be ordered separately). All sauces are homemade and delicious. The burgers are always nice and pink and never too dry. (Not for fans of the grilled to death). Drinks are quite expensive (nothing under 2EUR for 0.3 bottles)(no alcohol). Anyone who wants a quick burger will usually be disappointed. You can easily wait 15 minutes for your order. This is usually due to the 2m queue in front of the entrance door. As expected with such a popular store with only 12 seats inside and 10 seats and standing outside. All in all, an amazing shop. Only my suggestion about a horse burger was rejected. And that was serious.

Heaven for vegetarians and vegans with gluten intolerance. Incredibly good, fresh burgers with delicious sauces and many possible combinations. Cool staff. Always a point of contact when I'm in Cologne.

Very tasty, fresh burgers, with a nice selection on the menu! Vegetarian burger patties are also available, but they cost more than the meat version. The fries were very tasty, despite being picked up and therefore transported in the bag. Absolute recommendation if you're hungry, but I don't consider it a full-fledged restaurant, so only 4 stars for the ambience. It still has its charm and I like coming by.

Was craving a burger and popped in here - so glad I did! Right from the ordering process, the man behind there register was super helpful - very patient with my poor German. The food options are plentiful with beef, chicken, and veggie choices. Also gluten free choices for the buns. The burgers are made fresh as are the fries. They're served hot and well presented! Very generous serving sizes that are more than plentiful. More than enough side dishes to satisfy most cravings with additional sauces available for your fries or whatever. There's both outdoor and indoor seating options. Pictured are a hot honey chicken burger and a veggie burger - with a large order of fries and a mayo sauce for the fries. I will absolutely be back because there's more burgers i want to try!

Remarkably attentive service and you feel totally welcome even with children. Food was great, several vegetarian or vegan options and the price was completely fair. Absolute recommendation!

Unfortunately the new bacon jam fries are nothing, way too salty with the salt on the fries, the roasted bacon and then the sauce on the bacon. The previous version with blue cheese sauce and without that salty bacon jam was worlds better! Please bring them back! Update 2024: the burger buns are not real burger buns, taste like kebab bread.. Unfortunately it doesn't taste as good as it did a year ago.. nothing special in taste anymore, unfortunately!

Best burger in Cologne! 😍 Delicious combinations, good quality and there is something for everyone (meat, veggie, vegan). In summer there is a nice terrace, otherwise you can take the delicious burgers with you (always well packaged)!

Came here for the first time on a recommendation and was immediately convinced and didn't regret it. The burger was great, the fries were great, as were the dips. The service was very accommodating and extremely friendly. Eating went really quickly, really well organized with three people behind the counter.

Große Pommes zum Mitnehmen bestellt und es war nur eine kleine in der Tüte (nicht zum ersten Mal), Patty ziemlich versalzen. Schade.

Mega leckere Burger und Pommes. Kann den Smashed und den Crispy Chicken empfehlen. Die Kahuna-Soße und Chiptole-Mayo sind auch super zu den knusprigen Pommes. Das Lokal an sich ist ein Imbiss, also gut zum kurzem hinsetzen, aber eher nicht zum verweilen. Alles in allem eine deutliche Empfehlung!

Leckerster Vegan Burger in Köln!!

Ziemlich Standard. Hatte den Smashed-Burger und der war einfach viel zu trocken, Fleisch scheinbar zu mager oder zu lange gebraten. Auch der Normale Burger war nur ok. Relativ wenig Fleisch und zu viel Brot, hat sich einfach nicht wie eine Einheit angefühlt. Pommes waren sehr gut.

Wir haben zwei Burger mit Pommes gegessen. Die Burger waren sehr lecker und die Pommes ebenfalls. Das Fleisch wird regional bezogen und die Pommes sind hausgemacht. Die Preise sind auch vollkommen in Ordnung. Service war top, authentisch und freundlich. Wir kommen wieder!

Ich hab mich sehr auf einen leckeren Burger gefreut und dann 10€ für einen Burger bezahlt, der geschmeckt hat wie aus der Mikrowelle.

Es ist wirklich frustrierend, wenn ein Burgerladen zu diesen Preisen nicht in der Lage ist, einen Burger well done zu braten. Warum bietet man die Option an, wenn kein Koch dazu in der Lage ist? Wir haben hier bereits mehrfach bestellt und jedes Mal gingen die Personen, die Hackfleisch nur well done essen leer aus.

Absolut Gesundheitsgefährdend!!!!!!! Wie kann man so etwas nur dem Kunden zum Essen anbieten! Hier hat man das Essen bewusst so verpackt und liefern lassen! Unverständlich! Ich weiß, dass es Tage und Zeiten gibt, die mehr Stress mit sich bringen! Aber sowas kann man doch nicht dem Kunden geben! Da ruft man an und sagt Bescheid, dass es länger dauert!!!! Das ist krebserregend Der Burger wurde weggeworfen! Wir haben versucht das Verbrannte wegzukratzen! Leider vergeblich……

Es war mal deutlich besser und günstiger. Ich habe nun bereits zwei mal bei Bestellungen Essen geliefert bekommen, das nicht geniessbar war. Der Burger Patty war verbrannt. Bei solchen Preisen sollte so etwas definitiv nicht vorkommen!
