Since the renovation, the interior has been incredibly cozy. When the weather's nice, you can sit outside under the trees. Lunch is always delicious, too. The service is also really friendly.

As always, when we're from Hesse, somewhere around or in Munich, we go to the small, quiet, and green oasis for Pfundig food and are happy that it's reopened after the fire damage. We were recently in Munich for the Kocherlball and then there again in the evening. The food is always delicious, amazing schnitzel, among other things. The chef and the guys and girls who serve are always in a good mood and up for a chat. We're already looking forward to our next visit :-) Martina and Hansi Wesp

Hello friends, I ended up here looking for something special. The service was super attentive and friendly. The food was very good and honest. The menu isn't that extensive, which suits me personally. Everything is homemade. No potato salad from a 5-liter tub, and the Kaiserschmarrn didn't taste like ready-made dough. And the ambiance... well, when I imagine that a fire raged here and everything had to be redone, it's really impressive. And relatives of the boss ate here, which says it all. It's, as the name suggests, really POUNDING. We'll be happy to come back here. Thanks for the lovely stay. P.S. Beautifully located in the backyard. You can sit inside or in the garden. The food is delicious, home-style. Huge salads. The Kaiserschmarrn was very good.

A wonderful restaurant, especially since it's in the heart of the city yet beautifully quiet thanks to its courtyard location. Food is first-class, the Styrian schnitzel is highly recommended, and the Kaiserschmarrn was fantastic. I'd happily return.

Simply fantastic. The entire team is very friendly and accommodating. Our food was very good, but unfortunately too much 😉. No problem, they packed it up to take home. It's lovely inside and out. Very quiet – no traffic. Perfect for families with children. We'll be back soon!

I was visiting a trade fair at a hotel in the neighborhood and ate there twice. Great atmosphere in a courtyard...the service was very friendly and the food was delicious. Highly recommended.

After the reopening, everything was perfect, as usual. Attentive, friendly service and wonderful food. There were five of us and we were very satisfied with our dishes.

It's a dream—both in the large garden in summer and in the cozy (now even cozier) parlor in winter. The price/performance ratio is excellent, and the friendliness is a given here. It's great that you exist, dear Bistro Pfundig team—without you, the neighborhood would be missing a bit of its coziness.

We had our food delivered. I don't understand a rating of 4.6; 4.1 would be more appropriate. I'm better at salad dressing, the schnitzel was okay, the potato salad was worse than a ready-made product, the spaetzle was okay, and the Kaiserschmarrn was okay.

Very good Bavarian restaurant. The food was very tasty. The lunch specials are unbeatable in terms of price and the quality of the food is also great. For lunch we had penne arrabiata with fried goat cheese. My conclusion: Molto bene. The Kaiserschmarrn ordered as dessert, which would have easily been enough for three people, was also unbeatable. All in all a great restaurant with nice and fast service and a nice outdoor terrace.

Super location. I've been there several times for family celebrations. Very attentive service, extensive menu and generous portions, some of which can also be ordered smaller. Price-performance ratio is very good for Munich standards. The cake is also very tasty. Overall verdict: Highly recommended 😁

The food, especially the salad, is excellent.

I can't say anything about the food, I just read on Too good to go that the store offers a donation bag. But it's not the store itself that wants to bear the costs of this donation, but rather offers app users to buy a bag for €6.60 but not to pick it up. The store then donates them "to someone who needs a smile today." I find it impossible! To let good-hearted people pay you for donating! Put a smile on the faces of those who need it through your own generosity!

As soon as we are back in Munich we will eat our food at pfundig because quality and taste are very much appreciated here and thank you very much for this culinary delight and see you again

Nice restaurant where you are greeted with hello. All in all it is very loud, very crowded and the steak was rear even though it was ordered medium. It was pointed out that they wanted to fry the steak again??? A nogo! Tested three times, that was probably it for us.

The offer for entrecote and salad was very good. Generous portion of salad, the meat medium, as desired. Good service. In summer it is certainly very pleasant to spend time outside in the quiet beer garden. The restaurant should not be missing from your personal restaurant list.

This restaurant, situated in a charming little park in Munich, is ideal for dining in for lunch or dinner while enjoying the calming effects of nature. I've been very excited so far. However, yesterday's visit (3 people, 3 beers, 3 schnitzels for around 130 EUR) was absolutely not enjoyable. Tender veal was ordered and tough leather was served. The waitress was allowed to clear the plate almost full, not even “pack it up and take away” was an option. Very unfortunate.

Excellent restaurant. We ate well, the plates were well stocked. The service is fast and the waiters and waitresses are available. We highly recommend it.

Ordered by Wolt. At first I was shocked by the portion size - huge cordon bleu with a lot of poles. Juicy but crispy, just a dream. I ate myself into a food coma, it was so delicious 😂👍

I was here at lunchtime and had the trout from the daily menu. The trout was served surprisingly quickly. It was good, but could have been seasoned a little bolder. The garden is beautiful and quiet, the service attentive. I'll be back!

We ordered something to the hotel via Lieferando and it arrived super warm and crispy (Munich schnitzel). Very tasty food and very good quality! Kaiserschmarrn is also absolutely delicious, unfortunately there is only the large portion for €19, a small one would do just as well... still absolutely top!

Wir hatten ein Wiener-Schnitzel (Kalb) und die Käse-Spätzle. Von der Größe der Portion her, hätte auch ein Gericht für uns beide gereicht. Also das Schnitzel bedeckte den ganzen Teller und sowohl die Beilagen Pommes oder auch der Beilagensalat hätte als eigenständiges Gericht durchgehen können. Aber die Menge ist nicht wirklich der Grund für die Bewertung. Das Schnitzel hat hervorragend geschmeckt, ebenso die Käsespätzle und der Beilagensalat. Zudem war der Service prompt und sehr freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Weiter so.

Einfach super! Bestes Schnitzel, beste Salate, wir kommen oft, wohnen ums Eck, toller Service, tolle Küche, bis jetzt hat alles einfach mega geschmeckt. Egal ob Mittags oder Abends! ich bin großer Fan der Salate, die so groß sind, dass man absolut davon satt wird :)

I ate the Alpine beef steak with fried potatoes and salad, excellent and plentiful as always, service friendly and accommodating. I can only recommend the Pfundig. Will come again.

We visited on a warm summer evening and got seating in the courtyard. Options for vegetarians were very few but I had the Flammkuchen. Disappointingly it was over cooked, slightly bitter, and brown. It tasted alright but would have been good if it was cooked right. Surprisingly, the best part of the restaurant was the service! The Pfundig restaurant undoubtedly has a cozy atmosphere and an appealing, traditional ambience that invites you to linger. The friendly welcome and rustic charm create a pleasant atmosphere as soon as you enter. However, there were a few points during my visit that somewhat spoiled the overall impression. At first it took a while before we received the menu. This made us wait a little too long, which can of course happen in a busy restaurant. Unfortunately, the anticipation of the meal was dampened by the long waiting time. Our salad and pork sausages with sauerkraut only arrived at the table after 45 minutes. What was particularly noticeable was that other guests who arrived later were served much more quickly. This can certainly lead to a feeling of dissatisfaction, even if the service was certainly tried. The pork sausages themselves were well prepared, but the sauerkraut was unfortunately too salty, which somewhat detracted from the enjoyment. Even if such things are of course a matter of taste, a slightly more subtle seasoning would have been desirable. Another point that we noticed was the constant delivery of food ordered externally. The frequent comings and goings somewhat disturbed the otherwise pleasant atmosphere. All in all, Pfundig has a lot of potential, especially with the ambience and the friendliness of the staff. With a little more attention to the processes and finer coordination in the kitchen, the restaurant could be even more convincing. I hope that these points will be improved in the future, otherwise the Pfundig is a place that people would happily recommend.

Super nice location in a quiet green courtyard. But HUGE portions. It's hard to make a schnitzel alone. So if you have a lot of hunger and well-filled wallets, you can do it well.

A pretty nice inn a little hidden in the second row with good food and nice service. The salads are excellent, but everything else we saw also looked very inviting. What we personally didn't like so much was the house/techno sound or whatever it was supposed to be. In a crowded restaurant with a corresponding background noise, all that's left is a bass that doesn't contribute to the entertainment but is simply annoying. The music would be appropriate in a bar but would be out of place here.

A very nice restaurant in the courtyard. The food was very delicious. The Trout Müllerin was fried wonderfully crispy and came with an enormous side salad. And it was delicious too! I'm really not a keen salad eater, but it was really delicious with the trout. The staff was also very friendly, but seemed a bit confused at times, which was probably due to the warm weather.

Food was ok and rock solid, but nothing more. We had 2 people serving us, but only one was really nice and attentive. The other person works according to the motto: I'm just doing my job. The speed in which the food was prepared and brought to the table was positive. The cheese schnitzel was tender and the cheese with it was great, but the Munich schnitzel was unfortunately just sweet and too airy.

Food was pretty good, cute restaurant, and nice service. The only "issue" is that the portions are huge. Rarely do I say this, but they could have been slightly smaller (particularly the case with the Schnitzel Triologie and Cordon-Bleu). Other dishes may be somewhat smaller.

If I could I would give it 10 stars! We walked past here quite spontaneously and didn't expect to find such an oasis. Everything was just right: the food was really excellent, the price-performance ratio was just right (even though we are in Munich) and the terrace is so pleasant. Nice and shady and quiet :) Service was also super friendly!

Very nice, cozy and yet modernly furnished café. Really makes you feel good. But don't be fooled: In addition to coffee (Dinzler!) and delicious cakes, there is also lunch, pasta, salads, tarte flambée, soups and desserts. Many dishes can also be ordered as small portions. When it comes to schnitzels, you also have the choice of pork, veal or turkey. The Munich schnitzel was very juicy, delicately seasoned with horseradish and mustard and with a crispy, not too rich breading. The pasta Emiliana was also very delicately seasoned and the ingredients tasted very well. Clear recommendation also because of the location. Although located on Lindwurmstrasse, it is very quiet as the "Pfundig" is located in a spacious inner courtyard. As soon as the temperatures permit, you can also sit outside. The atmosphere is really relaxed and very nice, as is the unobtrusive, yet very attentive and fast service. P.S. There is a weekly menu for lunch. Depending on the day, you can enjoy a Viennese-style schnitzel or actually a Müllerin-style trout for €11.
