A new, modern pizza place is open and the results are impressive: delicious pizza is back in Bürgers all day long, and what's even better is that from Sunday onwards it will be pizza day again, the best pizza in Moosach.....

We are now regular customers - good value for money and a super nice boss.

We went to try this place because of the good reviews we saw fir the food. We were sorely disappointed by the food, the extra charges, and mandatory (illegal) til added to the bill. The food was not good at all, just a normal burger, sone ok fries, and other dishes; nothing wow for sure. The main issues came when we received the bill. The restaurant had added on a mandatory 10% tip, not legal in Germany. We saw this after we had paid and received the receipt, pretty sure it is a tourist trap. We have lived in Germany for the last 3 years though it isn't our first time in Germany at all. They also added a charge of .30 cents for a to-go box which is ridiculous when other restaurants don't do that. I recommend you avoid this ace at all costs, you can get a basic burger fur less than 16.50€ somewhere else.

​SCAM ALERT! ​We were 2 tourists having our last dinner in Germany here. Our bill was €41.2, but the waitress insisted on a mandatory 10% "service fee," claiming "it's like this everywhere in Germany." This is a lie and a scam. She eventually charged us €45. ​We know for a fact that this is not true and is illegal, but we were in a rush and didn't have the time or energy to argue. This completely soured our final night. ​Our love for Germany and its people remains, but businesses like this are a disgrace and hurt the reputation of the country. I'm writing this review to warn other visitors to be cautious and to avoid this restaurant.

How so many good reviews came about is a mystery to me personally. But first, the things that are all okay: The atmosphere is completely fine, a Bavarian Munich pub. Well-kept, clean, and lived-in. But nothing special. Plenty of seating. The service is average in terms of speed and attentiveness. This is where it's called Quite OK Very good, just friendly enough. But in my opinion, there's simply one person too few for the business, as they're not keeping up with it. The food was a disaster from start to finish. The salad was carelessly prepared, the dressing was standard, something you can make at home. No seasonings. The schnitzel is so thin that you'd have to search for it between the breading. Of course, a schnitzel is pounded flat, but I've never seen one that thin in Bavaria. The seasonings are completely out of place. The seasoning on the fries was carried over, so you only got a little bit of seasoning on a few pieces, that's it. All in all, it's lacking in love, lacking in taste, and no longer worth a visit. Anyone can do better with pre-baked goods.

Nice restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and very good service. Unfortunately, I can't say much good about the food. I ordered a cheeseburger with fries. The fries were fresh and crispy. The burger, however, was a complete disappointment: Dry, crumbly bread. Cheapest convenience store patty. Disappointing taste. The meat quality of a Big Mac is much better. For a price of around €16, I expect more quality from a burger.

I was there on burger day and had the veggie chili cheeseburger. The dish came with the burger, fries, and coleslaw. All the ingredients were good, and the burger was nice and spicy. You can measure out the ketchup and mayonnaise yourself using tubes.

The seafood pasta is well-seasoned, and even though the seafood is a bit small, the price is quite reasonable. The pizza dough is also very elastic and tastes good.

There were three of us in the restaurant. Two adults, one child. My husband and I's food was good (pizza and salad). The Penne Bolognese came with spaghetti. We thought OK, that's just the way it is. Unfortunately, they were so spicy that our son couldn't eat them because it burned his mouth. Unfortunately our complaint was not really addressed. We were asked if we would like to order something else... we then said if they could bring our son some pasta without sauce with parmesan. When we had already finished, his noodles finally arrived. However, they were then charged an additional €9.90😳 A small portion of pasta with parmesan... a cheek to ask for both dishes for such a price (€18.40 in total😱)... What a shame

Very good value for money and a wide selection. The service could be more attentive. It's a shame that an Augustiner restaurant doesn't serve Augustiner wheat beer.

Unfortunately, the overall impression was spoiled by the wait for the food, in our case more than an hour...the table that was occupied after us got all the food and drinks ahead of us. To top it all off, the wife didn't even get her food!!!

I ordered a chicken burger for around 15€. It came with fries and a very small creamy krautsalat. The fries, salad and burger all tasted like they came from frozen packets then were fried, only tasty due to being so unhealthy. If you want a good chicken burger in Munich, Hans im Glück is a MUCH better option and it is only 13.90€.

The two of us ate and drank for about €86. And the waitress or the restaurant didn't even want to bring us a glass of cold tap water (free)? We asked for a glass of tap water because one of us was feeling a little sick, and he just needed a glass of cold tap water because we'd already drunk enough other things, and he might have been taking some medication. However, they didn't want to bring us a glass of tap water, but instead insisted on selling us an expensive small bottle of still water! Since we had no other choice, we agreed to buy an additional small, expensive bottle of still water! So, for this poor service and, in fact, a complete disrespect, considering we had ordered so much, we're deducting two stars for this uncomprehending service. We thought that was pretty stingy or greedy of the restaurant. Otherwise, the service was friendly. The food was also delicious. The selection of dishes is very diverse. Of course, we can't comment on the taste of all the other dishes yet. But what we ate tasted good. Except for this small, unfortunate incident: they were so inflexible in their responses to orders, and complicated in their responses to such small, simple changes. That wasn't so good. And they were also so stingy when we asked for tap water. It was a bit disappointing. Otherwise, we would have been very satisfied with the cozy atmosphere in the restaurant. But in the end, they even cheekily rounded up the tip by one euro, so instead of €4, they just took €5!? Just because we order so much and pay anyway, right? We pay a lot for the dishes and drinks anyway, and we didn't even get a glass of tap water for free? And that's why they didn't even say a proper goodbye to us, at the end as we walked by, even though we had ordered, eaten, and drunk so much? And actually left a lot of tips, too. How unfortunate and sad.

I had Cordon Blue with fries and my fiancee had salad and tomato soup. This was the best Cordon Blue sandwich ever. The mustard was great and the entire sandwich was excellent. My date's salad and soup was also incredible. The atmosphere and service was great. We will return.

Can't understand the positive reviews. A terrible shop, especially in the evening, extremely crowded, seems somehow run down and unappealing. We've already experienced this on two visits, with some of the "regulars' table" drunks completely losing control of their volume and just shouting to each other. You don't have to go through that as a guest. Eat? Hmm, tavern, nothing special! But still wondering where the good experiences come from…? Probably the same clientele as the above-mentioned Gröl Troupe regulars' table!

Found this great restaurant through a Google search. Very large selection of food. It's a really difficult decision to make. We sat in a small side room designed like a hut. Sitting on the benches is not so comfortable, especially if you stay for a long time, without a backrest. Food and service was great! Gladly again!

The “Afghani Burger” was great, it would be cool if you always had it on the menu. Eating took a while, but wasn't a problem. Delicious cocktails! The pizzas are absolutely brilliant, fresh and delicious toppings, great dough, crispy from the hot pizza oven!

Die Preise waren zwar nicht übertrieben aber: In der Getränkekarte steht Fassbier serviert wurde aber kein Fassbier. Sauce zum Fleisch war viel zu salzig. Krautsalat aus der Dose Supermarkt, hat nur nach Essig geschmeckt. Die Bürger von Kollegen waren Katastrophe. Das einzige was gut war waren die Kartoffelknödel. Personal war freundlich. Obwohl es relativ wenig los war warten wir lange auf Getränke. Essen kam mit Verzögerungen so, dass manche schon fertig mit essen waren.

We ordered a tuna and champions pizza today and it was simply delicious! You could feel the quality in every bite. Thank you also for the quick service and friendly service. Definitely deserves 5 stars. We will definitely visit again.

The first impression was great, then the food arrived. The starter was forgotten and the main courses weren't that good. Wiener Schnitzel was soggy and made with little love. The waiter was really great. It's a shame for such a nice restaurant where the food isn't the main focus.

A simple restaurant with a rustic atmosphere, friendly staff and a huge menu. There is even a wood-fired pizza oven. The food is good and the prices are very moderate. There is also a kind of separate room for larger groups. We'd love to come back.

It is completely sufficient to ask the staff for a damp cloth to wipe a dusty surface next to you in order to be banned from entering the house.

The food was delicious, but the staff was very rude.. He made us sit in a separate corner room where nobody was there except us. When we asked for another table , he said everything is reserved but no one came for 1 and a half hours.. It was very disgusting to sit and eat in a corner.. I don't recommend this for Asian people.

We were there spontaneously on Friday and ate delicious food there. The service was friendly. The meal took a while, but was still ok. If everything is made fresh, it's ok. The portions were also good and the price-performance ratio was reasonable.

I felt comfortable straight away. The drinks and food requests were taken care of quickly and my special request (potatoes instead of potato salad) was free, which is unfortunately not common practice everywhere. Very friendly and polite staff. And the food... simply delicious. The only reason I regretted my choice was because I felt like I would have liked to eat half of all the other dishes on the menu. At first I was a bit skeptical because there were so many different styles on the menu (pizza, pasta, schnitzel variations, cordon bleu variations, burgers, fish), because I thought that the food could only be average, but mine Companions and I were all absolutely satisfied with their dishes. Next time I'm in Moosach, I'll definitely come back. I will also highly recommend Bürgers to all my relatives and friends when they are in Moosach. A real insider tip! 😋👍 I went there again, it couldn't fit! This time too I wasn't disappointed. My dish was absolutely delicious and my companions really enjoyed it too. And the cocktails are great too, big and still inexpensive. I wish I could stay in Moosach longer so I could eat the other dishes too. Unfortunately I have to go back home.😢 I stand by the fact that anyone who comes to Moosach must definitely go to Bürgers, otherwise they will miss out on a lot of things. 👍😋

Bürger's Moosach is an institution in the district in the north of Munich. Moved a few years ago but still awesome. The food is fresh, no compromises on quality. It is always well attended. There a regulars' table, there a family, best friends. Every nation and every age are represented. The staff is very attentive and very friendly. The prices are - for Munich - very moderate. Really not high or even overpriced. You just feel good when you go to Bürger's. The only drawback: it can get a bit stuffy and loud if there are a lot of guests in the house.

I've been there a few times. I had pizza, burgers, soup, and Schnitzel. The pizza was awesome, the flavors were great, and the ingredients were fresh. The tomato soup was yummy. But the burgers were not that great. They were both dry, and the salad inside was boring.

Food ok, keep an eye on the bill because the prices were higher than on the menu, later the waiter excuses himself that the English menu has the old prices, but there is no refund for that. An additional €10 service is charged.

I was here yesterday with a friend and I was really impressed. The pasta I ate tastes better here than in some Italian restaurants! My colleague had a combination of a Jägerschnitzel and Käsespätzle and that was also very good! The restaurant offers international cuisine and manages to prepare every dish at a high level, something that very few restaurants that offer a wide menu can do. For that alone I would love to come here regularly. But that wasn't all, because the service and the owner here are also great. Very friendly, courteous and competent. The restaurant is definitely kept clean and you just feel comfortable here! I can only warmly recommend it.

We came late in the evening for a drink and a snack....the bruschette was wonderful and good in taste....it gave us an idea of what the pizza might be....next time we go we definitely go for pizza.
