Bürger's Moosach München in München

Can't understand the positive reviews. A terrible shop, especially in the evening, extremely crowded, seems somehow run down and unappealing. We've already experienced this on two visits, with some of the "regulars' table" drunks completely losing control of their volume and just shouting to each other. You don't have to go through that as a guest. Eat? Hmm, tavern, nothing special! But still wondering where the good experiences come from…? Probably the same clientele as the above-mentioned Gröl Troupe regulars' table!

Cozy atmosphere. The food came quickly, hot, and really good. I haven't had such good pizza in a long time. And the staff is friendly, too.

There were three of us in the restaurant. Two adults, one child. My husband and I's food was good (pizza and salad). The Penne Bolognese came with spaghetti. We thought OK, that's just the way it is. Unfortunately, they were so spicy that our son couldn't eat them because it burned his mouth. Unfortunately our complaint was not really addressed. We were asked if we would like to order something else... we then said if they could bring our son some pasta without sauce with parmesan. When we had already finished, his noodles finally arrived. However, they were then charged an additional €9.90😳 A small portion of pasta with parmesan... a cheek to ask for both dishes for such a price (€18.40 in total😱)... What a shame

Found this great restaurant through a Google search. Very large selection of food. It's a really difficult decision to make. We sat in a small side room designed like a hut. Sitting on the benches is not so comfortable, especially if you stay for a long time, without a backrest. Food and service was great! Gladly again!

The “Afghani Burger” was great, it would be cool if you always had it on the menu. Eating took a while, but wasn't a problem. Delicious cocktails! The pizzas are absolutely brilliant, fresh and delicious toppings, great dough, crispy from the hot pizza oven!

Die Preise waren zwar nicht übertrieben aber: In der Getränkekarte steht Fassbier serviert wurde aber kein Fassbier. Sauce zum Fleisch war viel zu salzig. Krautsalat aus der Dose Supermarkt, hat nur nach Essig geschmeckt. Die Bürger von Kollegen waren Katastrophe. Das einzige was gut war waren die Kartoffelknödel. Personal war freundlich. Obwohl es relativ wenig los war warten wir lange auf Getränke. Essen kam mit Verzögerungen so, dass manche schon fertig mit essen waren.

Curious about the good reviews, we went to eat at Bürger's Moosach on our short trip to Munich. And what can I say? Quaint restaurant where the service was friendly and the food was very good. Price-wise totally okay.

We ordered a tuna and champions pizza today and it was simply delicious! You could feel the quality in every bite. Thank you also for the quick service and friendly service. Definitely deserves 5 stars. We will definitely visit again.

The first impression was great, then the food arrived. The starter was forgotten and the main courses weren't that good. Wiener Schnitzel was soggy and made with little love. The waiter was really great. It's a shame for such a nice restaurant where the food isn't the main focus.

I ordered a Diavolo pizza yesterday, it was very tasty and still hot when it arrived. Will order from you again.

Always worth a visit. Great food, great service

A simple restaurant with a rustic atmosphere, friendly staff and a huge menu. There is even a wood-fired pizza oven. The food is good and the prices are very moderate. There is also a kind of separate room for larger groups. We'd love to come back.

It is completely sufficient to ask the staff for a damp cloth to wipe a dusty surface next to you in order to be banned from entering the house.

The food was delicious, but the staff was very rude.. He made us sit in a separate corner room where nobody was there except us. When we asked for another table , he said everything is reserved but no one came for 1 and a half hours.. It was very disgusting to sit and eat in a corner.. I don't recommend this for Asian people.

We were there spontaneously on Friday and ate delicious food there. The service was friendly. The meal took a while, but was still ok. If everything is made fresh, it's ok. The portions were also good and the price-performance ratio was reasonable.

I felt comfortable straight away. The drinks and food requests were taken care of quickly and my special request (potatoes instead of potato salad) was free, which is unfortunately not common practice everywhere. Very friendly and polite staff. And the food... simply delicious. The only reason I regretted my choice was because I felt like I would have liked to eat half of all the other dishes on the menu. At first I was a bit skeptical because there were so many different styles on the menu (pizza, pasta, schnitzel variations, cordon bleu variations, burgers, fish), because I thought that the food could only be average, but mine Companions and I were all absolutely satisfied with their dishes. Next time I'm in Moosach, I'll definitely come back. I will also highly recommend Bürgers to all my relatives and friends when they are in Moosach. A real insider tip! 😋👍 I went there again, it couldn't fit! This time too I wasn't disappointed. My dish was absolutely delicious and my companions really enjoyed it too. And the cocktails are great too, big and still inexpensive. I wish I could stay in Moosach longer so I could eat the other dishes too. Unfortunately I have to go back home.😢 I stand by the fact that anyone who comes to Moosach must definitely go to Bürgers, otherwise they will miss out on a lot of things. 👍😋

We ended up here in Moosach and here in Bürgers over the weekend. All the dishes we had were really great! Service and cuisine great. A must when you are here!

Bürger's Moosach is an institution in the district in the north of Munich. Moved a few years ago but still awesome. The food is fresh, no compromises on quality. It is always well attended. There a regulars' table, there a family, best friends. Every nation and every age are represented. The staff is very attentive and very friendly. The prices are - for Munich - very moderate. Really not high or even overpriced. You just feel good when you go to Bürger's. The only drawback: it can get a bit stuffy and loud if there are a lot of guests in the house.

I've been there a few times. I had pizza, burgers, soup, and Schnitzel. The pizza was awesome, the flavors were great, and the ingredients were fresh. The tomato soup was yummy. But the burgers were not that great. They were both dry, and the salad inside was boring.

Nice friendly service and probably the best Aperol in Munich ☺️☺️

Been waiting for over an hour and still no food

The very pretty and rustic atmosphere invites you to enjoy a cozy meal with friends and family. The food was to our complete satisfaction. The very nice and courteous waitress who accompanied us through the evening was also great. We'll definitely be back

Food ok, keep an eye on the bill because the prices were higher than on the menu, later the waiter excuses himself that the English menu has the old prices, but there is no refund for that. An additional €10 service is charged.

I was here yesterday with a friend and I was really impressed. The pasta I ate tastes better here than in some Italian restaurants! My colleague had a combination of a Jägerschnitzel and Käsespätzle and that was also very good! The restaurant offers international cuisine and manages to prepare every dish at a high level, something that very few restaurants that offer a wide menu can do. For that alone I would love to come here regularly. But that wasn't all, because the service and the owner here are also great. Very friendly, courteous and competent. The restaurant is definitely kept clean and you just feel comfortable here! I can only warmly recommend it.

The food was excellent, we had a pollack fillet and a sea bream. Excellently fruity and cooked just right. The service is very friendly and welcoming, I rounded up my tip well.

We came late in the evening for a drink and a snack....the bruschette was wonderful and good in taste....it gave us an idea of what the pizza might be....next time we go we definitely go for pizza.

4€ for a plate? Just a simple plate, to not eat Pizza from the table, not a cardboard plate, just a simple one. ????? Cocktails are great. Pizza was cooked really fast, and it was tasty. Really, everything was really excellent, except that moment with plates.

Normally I've always been happy, but this time it was just terrible... I ordered the steak and it smelled strange, when I tried it I realized that the meat was bad, rotten steak, unbelievable

Hot inside but patio wast gud. Food was good and seemingly German. Pork was in tyrone corbin blue. I very enjoy. German service not as good as American service but this place taste good and was almost as good. service much better than anyone in Rome. I didn’t like roam but I like this place more than Rome. Italy’s trains were too slow and late everyday I didn’t like this about Rome. This restaurant was good after bad time in Italy. If I am here tomorrow maybe I will go try this again and try the burger. My brother got burger and it looked good so maybe try the burger too. If I go again maybe I will get the same things overall this was good and better than roam.

I ordered steak with fried onions, my favorite German dish since I found it. It was not as good as others I ate before, but very good anyway.

I've always been satisfied so far, but yesterday the food was nothing: the "back chicken" was a convenience product and, in combination with the salad, overpriced.

Unfortunately zero stars ⭐️ is not possible. Since we would like to support several suppliers during the Corona period, we ordered here today. A pure disappointment! The delivery time has almost doubled compared to the time shown when ordering. Despite the 1.5km journey, the food was no longer really warm. The burger patty (frozen, poor quality) was lukewarm, the crispy bacon was disgusting (limp) and the fries were cold. The burger bun was also purchased (discounter) and not toasted. Never again!!!

Unfortunately I have to revise my rating downwards: the salad was anything but fresh, the pizza was mediocre and the salmon trout was totally wrong. A pity A year ago: You can eat really, really well here. Everything is fresh and no tourist grub like in some other places here in Munich. 3 times without disappointment. Keep it up.

We ate here almost every day during our vacation and were very satisfied. Nice atmosphere, very friendly and personable staff, drinks and food came very quickly, delicious food at reasonable prices. Everything was right for us here. Greetings from the Olive Man! ;-)

For guests who don't just come to eat in groups of two, here is the following story from recent events that motivated me to avoid this shop in the future and to write this review: I was a guest in this store and when I went out to have a smoke, I wasn't allowed in because there were "too many people" there. The “bouncer” wasn’t interested in the fact that my food was already waiting for me, nor was I interested in the fact that I had already paid for the drinks and food I had consumed. I understand that you are overwhelmed and annoyed by the rush of Mayfest visitors, but not letting guests in who have already ordered is absolutely outrageous and I have no understanding whatsoever. I don't go here anymore.

Deletes 1 star reviews. My rating was based on actual events that happened a few years ago. If you don't have a receipt from back then, the valuation can easily be disputed by a law firm. Every customer should avoid a shop that deletes criticism in order not to have to improve.

Update 2024: instead of responding constructively to the criticism, Bürgers decided to use a lawyer to insinuate that my review was a lie and that my name was not mine. This is a very transparent attempt to delete reviews after four years that are below five stars. Citizens probably believes That after four years I can no longer prove that I ate there back then. On the one hand I can do that and on the other hand I will remember the extremely unfriendly treatment by the waitress and the very poorly made (some of it still frozen) food for a long time.

I bought a salami pizza for take away yesterday and on the paper they gave me the price was €8.30, but when I went to pay they charged me €11.50. When I inquired, I was told that the price was outdated. Totally absurd, I felt deceived.

Smaller restaurant at Moosacher train station. We were there spontaneously on a Friday evening with three people. At other restaurants the kitchen was already cold, here you can still get a Wiener Schnitzel, an onion roast and fries shortly before 10 p.m. Price performance fits very well! The service is friendly.

Lovely place, will come back again. Beef Tikka pizza was delicious and the chicken burger was so yummy. Sonntag offer all pizzas for 10.5 euros. They have different daily offers.

Gemütliche Gaststätte. Leckeres Cordon Bleu. Leider war der Gurken-Kartoffelsalat ein Fertigprodukt und schmeckte stark nach Konservierungsmitteln. Also besser die Pommes dazu bestellen.

What a wonderful place for a meal, a drink or a gathering of friends. Delicious food, good hygiene and the friendliest of waiters and bar staff. This is one of those memorable establishments that make you feel like a long time visitor and almost family on your first visit. Child friendly and nothing bad to say at all 👌
