Chill, relaxed vibes. Nice for quieter summer evenings. Plenty of vegan options (the gluten free vegan chocolate and peanut cake was great!)

It's a very welcoming place :) The pizzas are good and the prices are reasonable.

The store actually has a particularly beautiful ambience that I haven't discovered anywhere else in Munich. Beautifully cozy retreats spread over several floors, beautifully lit in the evenings, great program with live music, Christmas market, etc. However, we urgently need to work on the friendliness of the entire staff! Because even the beauty of a restaurant doesn't allow customers to be treated like that. Sometimes people don't even look at you when you talk, you often seem arrogant from above, there is often chaos when picking up the pizzas, inside you are sent out to the bar, at the bar you are sent in again, when you return the dishes because you don't dare to ask something, you are almost ignored or considered stupid, it is taken for granted that every customer has to know their way around! I've been there several times - so I'm not talking about a single experience! Pizza seemed good to me the first time, but from subsequent attempts unfortunately it was soggy and didn't taste really good (Funghi). Arrogance towards customers is a no-go in the restaurant industry, no matter how popular a store is.

Very nice atmosphere with live music.

I stumbled with this place on a morning walk. Very friendly staff and excellent to have a coffee and chat. I can also see there are some recommended activities at night and different workshops which is a big plus. Absolutely recommended for a nice coffee, wine or food break.

Quaint, sweet and cozy. Had the rosemary fries and a pizza with spicy salami. Delicious.

Great location, delicious food and great events

I've been here twice now: once in the summer afternoon shortly after opening for coffee and cake, both very good, and now in March on International Women's Day for an open-air concert. We had pizza, which I highly recommend: the crust is crispy, the base thin, and the toppings generous.

Best birthday party ever. 28 people were well accommodated in the (reserved) attic, thanks to the two balconies that aren't just for smokers. We were lucky with the weather. The food was good, the drinks were excellent, and the bar staff were very hard-working and friendly. Everything went smoothly with the self-service. The ambiance was truly fantastic—my guests loved it! I'll be back—and so will my guests. Even to celebrate there myself... 🍷🥂💭🍻

Very nice place, something completely different. There are many different corners where you can make yourself comfortable. The vegan cake wasn't quite my thing, but would still come again.

A very cozy cafe with delicious pizza, good coffee, and, above all, a very pleasant atmosphere! It's often very busy, especially on weekends, but the staff always try their best, and you can sometimes find a quiet spot in the many nooks and crannies of the premises, even on busy days. The Christmas market is also always a highlight!

Terrible service, staff obviously doesn't want to be there, so they are slacking around daydreaming. When you go in to order, the whole room is a mess, people cut the lines but noone cares.

A super nice restaurant. I like the design of the outdoor area on the first floor. The range of food and drinks is nice and extensive. The self-service concept works well. And I had the best fries ever there.

Warm atmosphere, fire in the garden, fireplace inside.

A very nice café that takes you into a magical world. The building looks like a witch's cottage with small towers, stairs and also a wood stove inside. The coffee and cakes are delicious and there are lots of vegan options. There are only a limited number of spaces indoors, so you should expect a wait in winter.

A slightly different restaurant, you can relax here when the weather is nice. Relatively expensive, the service could be better.

Perfect place for having your cake, coffee, food, drink whatever! Perfect view & ambiance!! Mind blowing!! Close to the U Bahn, too.

Simply magical! We were there during Christmas time and it was really magical!

You just have to like the place. I think the wood stoves for heating the interior are a highlight. There is even a small live band playing every weekend.

Unusual place, very creatively designed and welcoming

Generally nice location, Rather alternatively, there is a free stage, you can sit outside and inside, very comfortable. Space inside is rather limited, and there is also a Christmas market in winter. There isn't really a service because you get everything yourself and pay for it, which is why one star is less, but all the employees are always very friendly, you get something quickly and pay straight away, so you can just leave at any time.

Really cozy magical place with lovely coffee and pizza but not a lot of place inside and the sweets are bit mid but overall it’s really worth checking out ! Also in winter for the Christmas Market 😇

Wonderful place to get away from everyday life. Simply immerse yourself and switch off. The small, wild and beautiful place invites you to do this. Especially the Christmas market with its many small craft stalls and offerings. Very nice. Keep it up.

Great local gem with great pizza 🍕 best of all: you are in the house of the witch. The atmosphere is very cozy and community driven. They have few seating inside with more space outside. The inner courtyard features more food trucks and life bands. Perfect place for pizza and chill with friends ✌️💯

Really cool place, or, "sehr geil", in German. Someone took plenty of money, love and time to create a place that seems like a medieval fairy tale movie set. Set in an urban no-mans land under a brutalist concrete railway bridge you enter a witch's tavern filled with people in their 20s and 30s, find some foods like pizza and the usual beers. Been there in December - and I wish I could see the wonders this place does to my soul on a summer night. The winter Christmas market is pretty cool too.

We were actually there for the first time and were completely thrilled about this cool and wonderful Christmas market. Runs on 2 levels and is well divided. Various bars with drinks and a variety of food options. The food is very good but not cheap either. But where is it? It's already in Munich. There are small tents, a stage and even a techno container 😂. Full 5 stars. Very well attended even during the week.

All time favorite! Here with friends in the evening - be it indoors by the stove with punch in winter or enjoying a beer outside in summer - it's always nice! There is also a good vegan selection that you definitely have to try!

Very nice Christmas market. There is a barrier-free toilet, but unfortunately it is used as a junk room. The offer from the staff to clear out at short notice was nice.

I celebrated my birthday here and was satisfied from A to Z. The atmosphere is just super cozy and we had the attic room all to ourselves.

Very nicely decorated with attention to detail. Great atmosphere a la Gilmore Girls. Every corner has been used and you can work there in peace or just relax and chat. The ambience alone makes a visit worth it!

I really like being at Gans Woanders because it is also Gans Anders like other locations. It's very cozy. It has a cozy family atmosphere. Seating is limited so I recommend making a reservation. The outside area or beer garden is very nice.

The Gans Woanders is a very special place to feel good. Whether with friends, to chill out, eat and chat, or alone to study or write homework... I absolutely love being here. It's cozy and homely, the food is extremely tasty and the prices are reasonable. There is live music every now and then, and when it's cold, the fire bowl in the courtyard is lit. Great! Be sure to watch and fall in love!

Very original, nice atmosphere. It's great what you can do with ideas and funny architecture out of an actually unattractive remaining piece of land. It's always worth cycling back there.

Great pizza and vibes!! The food was quite good and big portions, the fries were the highlight

We showed the piece of cake we wanted, they compared it to the one next to it, and cut it so it was the same size (or smaller). The piece they cut off was thin and they put it aside! The craziest thing that ever happened to me. I'll leave a photo of the discarded piece. After 2 hours it was still lying there without being eaten. It will eventually end up in the trash.

Bartender doesn’t want to speak English. I think it’s forbidden to be a tourist in Munich from her perspective. It’s so sad to leave with bad feelings from such beautiful place. I hope she is happy with her ‘right’ attitude.

My favourite place in Munich! So uniquely fairytale-like and romantic! Many beautiful corners to find a place and make each visit special, from the ground garden to the top balcony in the house. Very good pizza and cakes that change every day, with most of them being vegetarian. Policy of Card use only after 10€

The pizza is first class, super tasty and cannot be compared. I haven't tried the ginger, lemon, mint tea anywhere else and the portion of fries is made from real potatoes. It's super cozy and there's a relaxed atmosphere. Only the toilets leave something to be desired
