Started two attempts. I can't say anything about the food, because the first time we unfortunately had to pick out the ingredients and the second time we waited an hour for a pot of coffee and when it came to eating, the following message came: We have so much to do and no staff waiting 2 - 3 hours. We won't try it a third time.

First impression: How loving is it here? We came to Kassel from Swabia just to spend the evening in the pancake house. Hosts super friendly and loving. Pancakes were huge and beyond tasty. We have never eaten such a good, “hearty” pancake before. Building so “cute” and lovingly furnished. You immediately feel at home when you enter. All in all you have to have been there, you can't describe it.

The three of us were there on vacation in February 2024! Beautiful inn, service very friendly, the selection of many different pancake combinations is gigantic. The three of us were there on vacation and will definitely come back. We hope that this inn will last a long time with this offer. Recommended! We would like to thank you very much for the pleasant time and the great food.

We always enjoy being here and are very satisfied. Already with the old owner and now with the new one. The pancakes are all extremely tasty and the portions are generous! Owners also super nice and we are always greeted very friendly. We feel comfortable every time. The location is very cozy and beautiful anyway. With a lot of guests it sometimes takes a little longer, but I think that's okay. Everything is done ourselves, e.g. B. with rice pudding, no ready-made stuff. I'd be happy to wait a few minutes longer.

Not only the location, an old train station, but also the surroundings, rural and romantic, invite you to linger, but what is crucial is the wonderful combination of pancake dreams and the enthusiasm of the operators. An inn with its own charm.

The portions are very large, so the price-performance ratio is also great. After waiting for an hour, I asked politely. All I got was a stressed No time back. At least 3 families left during that time. We then got up and started the bike ride home with the kids, without refreshment.

Pancakes from sweet to savory, all delicious.

I was there last week with three children. The food was delicious as always, but the service couldn't make it out. There is a beautiful, rustic room that we have sat in before, but unfortunately we weren't allowed to use it, even though almost everything was free because I had children with me. The man who works there immediately told us: “With the children, just go here at the front!” And so we sat in front of the counter in a not so comfortable room. When asked if we could have small children's pancakes with Nutella and sprinkles like last time, the answer was immediately "No, we don't do that." Funny that it worked last time. So there were only large pancakes with Nutella without sprinkles to share. When it came time to pay and we stood at the checkout, our table was cleaned and cleared in annoyance, and only then could we pay. One star for service is too much.

We stopped here on a Saturday afternoon on a bike ride. The pancakes are really delicious and given the selection we will probably eat here more often. The staff is very nice and attentive and the prices are ok. Highly recommended.

Essen sehr lecker. Portionen sind teils riesig und sehr mächtig. Besonders hervorzuheben ist auch der Salat. Soße super und der Beilagensalat ist so groß wie bei anderen der Hauptsalat. Service sehr freundlich. Man fühlt sich wie zuhause. Leider sind teilweise nicht alle Zutaten vorhanden bzw. Gerichte verfügbar. Dennoch sehr zu empfehlen.

Tasty and inexpensive Gladly again

After a rather cold greeting (our children were apparently too loud), it was difficult to settle down. We sat at the front at the counter, where the interior is already showing its age. However, the large room is very nice to look at. We had pancakes with currywurst, köttbullar, mushrooms and a salad with chicken. It was delicious for all of us and will definitely fill you up. If we lived here, we would definitely come back.

We ate at the pancake house today and were unfortunately very disappointed. After our group's last pancake arrived significantly delayed, it was partially burned. When I said that my companion wouldn't eat it that way, the response from the kitchen was that there was no time to make a new pancake and it had to be eaten. Since my companion's pancake was too burnt, she continued to refuse. The service tried hard to accommodate our wishes. And so, after waiting for a while, the boss came to the table and explained, matter-of-factly but not in a friendly manner, that the pancake was right. In the end, the untouched pancake was canceled 'as a gesture of goodwill'. But in return there was no free birthday meal with the statement that our group would consist of too many children (aren't children people?). Yes, out of twelve meals, five were from the children's menu. Unfortunately, the owners were probably not interested in winning new customers, but only in maintaining their rights. It's a shame for such a nice restaurant.

Too bad, too bad, too bad. We have been to the Netzer train station at least once on every Edersee holiday so far. The location is also really great. Unfortunately the owner had changed since our last visit. The pancakes no longer taste like pancakes but more like omelettes. They are not very voluminous and taste primarily of eggs. If you order a "Savory Combination" pancake with cheese, ham, onions and Mettwurst, these will be topped separately, i.e. you only have cheese on one quarter, only ham on another, etc. This is not clear from the description. The menus are flyers made of cheap paper and do not match the high prices. I also don't know whether the strange sayings on it are supposed to be funny (e.g. the vegetarian pancake "doesn't taste good and takes a lot of work." There are various organizational restrictions that suggest that these are not professional restaurateurs. Otherwise, it should be It's possible to pay separately even when things are busy. It's a real shame, but we probably won't be back.

During summer season, it is nice to sit outside and have some cool drinks. They have homemade lemonade and tastes really good. Pancakes tastes also good and enough variety to choose from

My parents were there on Sunday afternoon. Many tables empty. The waitress walked past our table several times without noticing us, serving us or clearing the table. Then we left again.

Unfortunately we cannot rate the food! Drove all the way from Bad Wildungen. When we entered we were waiting, the employee or he was the owner walked past us several times without saying a word. When we went to speak to him, he said irritatedly, if we are in a hurry, we have come on the wrong day! We were in no hurry! Update August 2024: We were there without a reservation. There were enough free spaces at the tables and parking spaces. Unfortunately our first meal request, pulled pork, could not be fulfilled. The response from the kitchen also came from the kitchen for the second request: we don't have it at the moment. Currywurst was immediately denied at the table. When it came to drinks, the feedback came from the counter; non-alcoholic wheat from the menu was also out. Unfortunately the replacement beer was alcoholic. It was stupid because we were there by car. After all the food and drinks found their way to our table in the garden, things became more relaxed. The pancakes were tasty and reasonably priced. The toilets are clean and tidy, but are getting old. The pancake house is worth a visit. Anyone who is nearby, whether by bike or car, should take the time. We'd love to come back. You can improve the bad criticism, I know you can do it better. We'd love to come back. Very easy to reach by bike, prices are fair and the food is great...

Wir hatten uns wirklich auf einen gemütlichen Nachmittag im Pfannkuchenhaus gefreut, doch leider wurden wir schwer enttäuscht. Auf der Speisekarte stand ein Pfannkuchen, auf den wir uns besonders gefreut haben. Doch als wir bestellten, teilte uns der Wirt unfreundlich mit, dass diese Speise nicht mehr verfügbar sei. Kein Wort der Entschuldigung, kein Alternativvorschlag – nur ein genervtes "Gibt's nicht mehr." Die Stimmung war damit sofort im Keller. So eine unhöfliche und unprofessionelle Art haben wir selten erlebt. Wenn man schon bestimmte Gerichte nicht mehr anbietet, sollte man das entweder auf der Karte vermerken oder zumindest höflich darauf hinweisen. Hier fühlt man sich als Gast absolut nicht wertgeschätzt. Wir werden dieses Restaurant definitiv nicht weiterempfehlen und auch nicht wieder kommen. T,T,T,&OD

Not the first time there and we always had to wait about 2 hours for the food. Really annoying! and with small children, really difficult. And also very unfriendly service. Food is ok but not a highlight.

Great idea to use pancakes as a basis for savory dishes. Everything tastes delicious, the portions are more than generous. Great location in a disused train station, almost limitless nature included.

At 2.30 we wanted to order cake and they said there was still a piece of cheesecake there, that was all the cake 🍰 at the best time to drink coffee 😁

The pancakes were great and we were super full. We recommend sharing one and eating a sweet one for dessert. The service was very nice. Card payment was possible. You can sit very well both outside and inside. The old station building in particular is really very rustic.

Such a beautiful location! We've been coming here for a few years. The service is friendly but unfortunately the pancakes are no longer what they once were. I mentioned it directly and it was passed on, the boss herself even came to the table. It would be a matter of taste and previously that was ready-made dough, according to her. Unfortunately they weren't pancakes but actually omelettes. It tasted exclusively of eggs, milk and salt. Of course, that meant they were completely flat, where would the volume come from... Good morning, I once rated this place with 4 STARS, but I now have to correct this review. To the points. Food: Well, me and my girlfriend had the "Old Swede", for the borrow, Köttbullar with a mushroom-onion cream sauce, all on a pancake. Plus a side salad. When it comes to the salad, I can say that it was quite powerful and I'm not sure whether it was a bad homemade sour cream sauce or a good dressing. No matter what it was, it reminded me of this dressing that was always available in ready-made salads from chip shops when the cucumbers had been lying there in a kind of sour cream sauce for days, best served in a plastic cup, with half a chicken and greasy fries. As you can read, the salad is not that tasty. The cream sauce tasted pretty standard, of course no wine or roasted ingredients were used here. However, the mushrooms in the sauce were fresh and lightly fried, very good! However, the “Köttbullar” were a disgrace! The meatballs taste like ready-made “poultry mini meatballs” from the package, briefly in the microwave and then in the sauce. It's not like I don't buy something like that and eat it in private. However, that doesn't belong in a restaurant with such potential! The pancake is quite filling, tastes strongly of eggs, so it fills you up well. However, mine was a bit very dark from below... Drinks, Cola zero from the glass with ice and lemon, very good! Many people make lemon, the ice cream is always nice to have at temperatures like this! Service: The waiter was very nice and tried hard, but that was about it. He didn't seem like it was the job for him. However, he was really nice. Ambiance: The ambience here is of course worth its weight in gold! Old train station flair and nice atmosphere. From the bar at the entrance towards the toilets, it unfortunately doesn't go smoothly... So conclusion. Of course you could eat what was available here. The previous owner wasn't a fan of fresh ingredients or homemade ones either. But this is enough for a nice afternoon! There is definitely potential here, learn from your mistakes and make it better. Gastronomy is a craft, a craft that can be improved. Note: The real menus are still coming? This paper, with more rules on it than a classic pen and paper, doesn't work at all! Rules like a second plate (probably to share) costs €2! I would have liked to have dessert with my girlfriend and share a pancake, but I don't pay extra for a plate. Single payment not possible on weekends during busy times? Why? Anyone who comes along with time or staff is doing something wrong! On Sundays, for "technical reasons" there are only pancakes that have been printed with a red number on the menu or the food paper slip. I understand that perhaps fresh salmon cannot be served here on Sundays with a clear conscience. But why isn't the tuna pancake available on Sunday, but the one with bacon? When the meatballs come out of the package, the tuna comes out of the can. Why it is like that? I have no idea, that's just how it is. Will we come again, yes! The place is nostalgic and the ambience is absolutely fine, especially outside in summer. The food is okay! You get full and it doesn't taste bad, but it has a lot of potential.

Apparently not enough staff because we were only served after about 20 minutes. The staff is nice and the food was good. The menu was also limited to a Sunday because there apparently wasn't enough staff to prepare the amount of food! It was tasty but I would have liked to have ordered something else from the menu. A pity !

It was disappointing: we sat at a table outside in the sun for 50 minutes without being served. Despite asking, we were ignored and not even drinks were accepted. We would have liked to place our order inside, but that wasn't possible either. We definitely won't try it again. We can't rate the food due to the lack of service.

A disused railway line from Buhlen-Korbach. This was completely tarred over a length of 26km and converted into a cycle path. Only the train stations with the houses have been preserved. This one in Netze is a real eye-catcher with its great pancakes etc. Highly recommended and tastes really delicious😋 We will visit again with the e-scooters 🫠

Excellent food in a nice atmosphere, pancake variants are very tasty and the host is a real restaurateur with heart, However, we also have to criticize a bit and get the restaurateur to think. We reserved a table for 4 people at 8 p.m. on July 14, 2024 and only due to miscommunication our friends were already at the pancake house at 7 p.m. When they sat down they were told that there were only three pancakes left. After calling us, we raced like crazy to the pancake house to get something to eat after a long bike ride. On Friday we called again to reassure ourselves that our order had been received and asked whether 8 p.m. was OK or if we should come earlier. The owner agreed that everything would be ok and 8 p.m. would be great. For us, the evening wasn't as nice as it had been many times before because we were annoyed. If we had come at 8 p.m., would we have been in front of locked doors? We don't think that works. They would have had to withhold dough from us or we would have been informed that we should come earlier. We were a bit annoyed by the approach. It's a shame, we really have fond memories of the house. That has crumbled a bit now.

We have been to the restaurant many times and have mostly been satisfied. As of today we definitely won't be visiting the location anymore. Since we were there with a dog and dogs are not allowed inside, we wanted to sit at a table outside. Unfortunately it started to rain lightly and I asked the waiter if he could open an umbrella. His short answer was that they are parasols and not umbrellas and he doesn't open them! Super hospitable and never see you again!!!

Liegt direkt an der Fahrradstrecke von Korbach Richtung Edersee, ist aber auch mit dem Auto direkt zu erreichen. Sehr leckeres Essen, für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Portionen sind sehr üppig und natürlich frisch zubereitet. Das Essen war angemessen schnell serviert, die besten Pfannkuchen, die ich je gegessen habe brauchen halt liebe und Zeit😉 Sehr aufmerksame unaufdringliche Bedienung , die schnell reagiert. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder.

The pancake with cheese and ham is rather bland in taste. Not enough employees! Orders take forever.

I can't judge what the food was like, but after waiting 20 minutes without ordering anything, we drove back. The dishes from the guests in front of us were still on the table even though the waiter walked past us empty-handed and acted as if we weren't even there. You could have said yes, it took a while but nothing. I can also spend my money elsewhere.

The location is awesome! We immediately fell in love with the view and the ambience. The selection of food is also very good and the menu is designed with love. However, I give a small deduction because I found the dough too salty for a sweet pancake. But would come back at any time!

In the building of the former Netze train station, located directly on the Edersee railway cycle path. The space is rather limited, but there is plenty of space in the outdoor area with a run for children. In warm "cycling weather" it is a very popular place for cyclists. The offer: (egg) pancakes in many combinations, sweet and savory. For every taste and (almost) all preferences. Decent and recommendable cuisine. I have always found the employees to be friendly and socially competent. The hygienic conditions of the sanitary facilities are neat and acceptable. A well-run business with the problems with staff occupancy that are now common in the catering industry. (Currently (06/2024) they are looking for a cook and are offering attractive conditions.) Unreserved recommendation!

Food was super tasty at a fair price. Plus directly on the Ederseebahn cycle path. Always great. It would be great if charging bicycle batteries wasn't only possible "as an exception". For example, our Bosch 400Wh battery charges with 80W. Only makes 4 cents/hour. And even our 650Wh Flyer battery charges with 195W. Only makes 10 cents/hour. If it were charged at a flat rate of €1, I would be happy to take advantage of it. ;-)

We once again dined like a king here. Everything was super tasty. It's also a great option, right in the middle of the cycle path from Korbach to Edersee. This is a former railway line, so cycling is not that difficult. From Korbach to Edersee and back, the almost 70 km is easily doable, especially since the Pfannkuchehaus is right in the middle, which helps a lot. There you can have a drink, eat very well and the menu is brilliantly written... so you also have something to laugh about and relax. But you also have to bring some time, the clocks run slower here.

First of all, the service today was a blast!!! We felt really welcome. Very very friendly and funny. We haven't experienced anything like this for a long time. We were there for the first time today and the food was really delicious!!!! We had a strong and a sweet pancake and both were TOP! It's really nice to sit outside, it makes sense to make a reservation if you want to sit outside when the weather is nice. There are also plenty of seating options inside and on the terrace. Parking is great too! There is still one negative point, but I don't want to deduct a star for that, there are still potato dishes on the menu (with raw, fresh potatoes) that I would have liked to eat, but they weren't available. Since they are printed paper cards, maybe just remove them from the card, then the ordering will go more smoothly and there will be no frustration ;-) The cards are awesome, whoever came up with the sayings, chapeau. Is the owner from Cologne? We'll definitely be back, next time not as a couple but with the men!

Only 1 star everywhere. There were 10 cyclists with me (E-BIKE) wanted some power for our batteries but refused to give us power. We then drove to a kebab shop in Sachsenhausen and they gave us electricity straight away. Then you have 200 euros per hour took in and had perhaps 12 cents in electricity costs. The kebab shop wasn't directly on the bike path like the pancake house. The city of Waldeck advertises tourism and cycling and you don't get any electricity for e-bikes. We found it a little sad. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant. Greetings to the cycling friends Nordwaldeck.

A great restaurant in great surroundings. I've never seen a funnier menu, but that alone makes it worth the visit! Then there's the friendly staff and the delicious pancakes, which really top it off! If we are in this area again we will definitely come back.
