PETER PANE Burgergrill & Bar in Oberhausen

The long wait and cold food were disappointing. The service left much to be desired, and the offer of a positive review in exchange for a free drink seemed dubious. This shouldn't happen in a professional establishment.

Unfortunately, my visit to this restaurant was very disappointing. The table we sat at was dirty and was only cleaned when requested - and after a long wait. The food was below average and definitely not worth the price. The service was slow and unfriendly. Worst of all, we spoke to the manager to explain our concerns, but he was very rude and showed no interest in our feedback. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant at all.

Business lunch with a colleague. Very friendly service. The lunch menu consists of 1 side dish (French fries or salad), 1 drink. Dessert (frozen yoghurt) or coffee to choose from. The guest chooses the burger himself. This is added to the menu price. The overall taste of the food was just average. Really nothing special. Priced off. 2 x lunch menu, 2 x burgers (double Petty Irish Beef, 2 x Espresso Doppio) for Euro 71.-. Conclusion: for a burger for lunch, for the restaurant service offered, definitely way too expensive!

Great selection, especially if you follow a vegan diet. If you had any questions about allergies or other ingredients, you were helped immediately.

After a long wait, the food was finally brought, but unfortunately it was cold. Burger cold, fries cold, was pretty lifeless. Because you were hungry, the whole experience was okay. We wouldn't go there a second time

Unfortunately no recommendation. The young service employee had a lot of trouble taking orders and using her private cell phone chat at the same time (no, it wasn't the business cell phone for the orders). On several occasions she only came after asking other employees and then showed her disapproval that they had even complained that it was taking so long for her to take orders and that she still had something private to clarify. The food was ok, the small salad with the menu was unfortunately not edible, very wilted.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my visit to this restaurant on Saturday. The manager spoke to us in an inappropriately loud tone and displayed clearly arrogant behavior. In addition, we had to wait an unusually long time for our food, which was then served cold. Such behavior is in no way what one would expect from a professionally run restaurant. For these reasons, I unfortunately cannot recommend a visit to this branch.

Everything was great. The drinks and food came super quickly. Service was great (Sebastian served us). We'll definitely come back :-)

We were there for the first time and we were thrilled 😍👍! We were served by Sebastian and he gets 5 out of 5 stars! Super friendly, helpful and really fast! The burgers 🍔 are absolutely delicious 😋 (fig goat with multigrain and Irish prime, as well as campfire with brioche)! The best so far and we've eaten quite a few burgers! In any case, they are worth the money! We also felt really comfortable (inside)! All in all we are more than satisfied and will definitely come back!!! Keep it up 😍👍

Difficult beginning, good ending! I was visiting Düsseldorf at the time, which unfortunately was a complete disaster. The customer service then invited me and the food was on the house! Very attentive, there are definitely bonus points for that!! :)) The waiter confirmed that we can order whatever we want, which I think is really great, it shows that Peter Pane isn't stingy! The food was great, we were all stuffed and could barely walk to the car. The cocktails were also great, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic! The service was great, very attentive and probably asked 3-4 times if everything was okay and if we wanted anything else. When it came to dessert, I passed but my companions didn't (but I was allowed to try it :P) and it was also a feast for the palate! I also found the atmosphere great but not perfect. The tables could be a little further apart so you have a little more privacy. But it's nothing serious. :) After this visit I will definitely come back! Done 1000x times better than Düsseldorf, that's for sure!! :)

The chain is also a real recommendation in Oberhausen for anyone who wants to eat good burgers. An incredibly nice team is already waiting for you at the entrance and the online reservation also worked perfectly. As always, the food was simply great and the service, as usual, full of esprit and joy at work.

We went to Peter Pane today and what we experienced there was simply absurd. The host seriously tried to squeeze us into a tiny corner between a few burly Germans - even though the restaurant was almost empty. It was super quiet, but he still wanted to put us in the most uncomfortable place imaginable. As if he wanted to keep the larger tables free - but for who? There was no one there! Absolutely no sense of hospitality or common sense. After we said we just wanted a drink, we seemed to be taken even less seriously. After two more place changes without any improvement, we decided to leave. Sad. Luckily, we then received excellent service at a Mexican restaurant on the same street. What a difference.

The food was simply outstanding!! Unfortunately, the coziness doesn't invite you to linger.

The waiting times are outrageous. Ordered 2 mojitos, arrived at the table with 90% ice and non-carbonated. We waited over 90 minutes for our food and at the beginning 30 minutes to order. We had to get a card ourselves at the side table. Not a nice experience and not worth 60+€ for 2 people.

We were at Peter Pane in the Centro on Saturday evening. Everything went perfectly, from the table reservation, the good drinks, the food arriving quickly and at the same time, etc. Friendly service, who, despite the packed place, had a few kind words for us. We've been here a few times, and now we're happy to share a review. It was packed, which for me meant a bit of a loss of comfort, but despite that, the service and everything else was excellent.

I was there with my sister and we had a really nice evening. Despite the store being full, the service was great – our waitress was super friendly and attentive. I had the Wiesentraum burger with sweet potato fries, my sister had the Dreikäsehoch, and both were really tasty. The relaxed atmosphere made the visit perfect and we will definitely come back!

The waiter yesterday was totally over it. When I ordered, asked me why I didn't order a different burger and referred to my girlfriend as my mother, which was just insulting. He then tried to apologize in a “funny” way, but no one laughed. The “Irish Prime Beef” was a thin meatball that tasted a bit like frozen meat. The roll was burnt and much too small for the meatball, and the fries were sticky. I then told the service and the waitress bitched at me and told me I should let you know next time. I've been to this restaurant several times and the quality drops with each visit. I can't recommend it more, there are definitely better burger places out there.

Peter Pan is a chain restaurant, as you know, and available in many cities, but it's particularly good in Oberhausen. The atmosphere is very cozy, and the food is delicious 🤤 I can recommend the Feige Ziege (Fair Goat) with Agnus Beef and Parmesan sauce. The service is a real experience, especially thanks to the wonderful waitress Eileen, who is super friendly and accommodating. Despite the busy schedule, she always has a smile on her face. A special thank you also to the bartender who created our cocktails so beautifully 💕 A very nice visit to Peter Pan in Oberhausen on the promenade 🥳
