What impressed me most about the Peter Pane in Oberhausen was the friendly service. I've been there several times and found the service to be noticeably friendly. However, you got more out of it if you sat outside. It's incredibly loud inside. This means that people have to scream at each other to even have a conversation. The restaurant is nicely decorated, but the music that is way too loud ruins it completely. Additionally, several doors in the women's restroom were not lockable and some were missing toilet paper. The food was good and the drinks too.

I can only recommend it, everything was great👍 very cozy, lots of choice & delicious, except the music was a bit too loud🙉 (for our taste) but to point out something nice, the music was turned down.☺️ Will definitely come back. 🍽️🍔🍹☕️

Unfortunately we came home from Peter Pane a little disappointed today. The otherwise positive impressions and experiences (in other cities) could not be confirmed here in Oberhausen. The table that had been reserved a few hours earlier was still totally sticky and dirty from the previous visit. After requesting cleaning, the table was madeshift and the crumbs were wiped down into our shopping bags. The music was so loud that people all had to shout at each other to have a conversation. The burger was great, but the chilli cheese fries seemed to have been warmed up or kept warm. The fries were really stuck together and only luke warm. The taste of the fries was reminiscent of fries warmed up in a microwave. It's a shame because we've been so impressed with it in other Peter Pane restaurants! However, when asked, this was refused; the food would never be in the kitchen, but would be brought directly to the customer. There would be at least 15 service workers on site. Unfortunately, we didn't see much of this either, as only very rarely did anyone come to see us. Too bad! Otherwise, we are very impressed with Peter Pane in other cities, delicious food and great service.

We were there for the second time and this time we took the lunch menu, which was 1 classic burger, a small portion of fries and a 0.5l homemade iced tea. For the price of €10 per menu you absolutely can't complain. We were also full, but the portion of fries could have been a little larger, which is bearable given the price. We would love to come back 👍🏻

Little food for a lot of money. Overpriced for small portions. Simple burgers, extras very expensive. Predominantly deep fryer preparation, sweet potato fries also come out of the deep fryer soggy. Service is a complete disaster: we don't have time to explain the card to a customer or point out offers. Unfortunately we don't recommend it!

Nice atmosphere and friendly service. The burgers are delicious but unfortunately far too expensive for the service offered. A dollop of sauce and a total of !5! Unfortunately, half, tiny champions don't justify the price. The "wild herbs" that came with my burger according to the description were also present in my wife's standard side salad... We probably won't come back.

Very tasty food and you can sit really well. We always eat the veggie burgers and we've never not enjoyed them. However, it sometimes took a while before someone came to our table to serve us, even though it wasn't packed. Hence one star less.

A very nice restaurant, rustically furnished with an elegant touch. The food is a pure culinary delight, everything is freshly prepared and you'll be full afterwards. Music in the background rounds everything off and gives the restaurant a pleasant ambience. The staff is very friendly, you are on your first name and immediately feel welcome. The quiet little place is very clean and you can hear fairy tales in the background, enchanting.

Super great menu, large selection, lots of veggie and vegan options. Great interior, dogs allowed It was very crowded. Still pleasant. Service and waiters are all top! Unfortunately something went wrong when ordering. We were there with friends. The colleague's burger came differently than what was ordered, and both side dishes were also ordered differently (1/2 pound of fries was ordered and we got the fries mix). We didn't notice it because we are omnivores. However, we are firmly convinced that the products would have been corrected. Everything was very tasty and the time from ordering to serving was completely reasonable. Gladly again and we are here for the second time. On the first visit there was absolutely nothing to complain about.

The burger was OK. Chilli was half chilli on top of the lid, the couch potatoes were soggy in the burger. Therefore only 3 stars. The fries were normal. There are 3 vegan sauces or mayo on the table. Drinks are normal, unfortunately it took a while until someone asked if you wanted something else to drink. Toilets were clean. Ambiance is a matter of taste, benches without backrests and you sit very close together. Parking spaces are usually available free of charge throughout the shopping area.

Very bad experience with this bar. As soon as we walked into the restaurant we were treated disrespectfully and rudely told to close the door. We wait 20 minutes for service and we decided to ask someone, but they said just wait and sit. Very racist and rude. I definitely don't recommend it. We immediately left and enjoyed our day somewhere else. I would actually give zero stars, but unfortunately that's not possible

Waited over an hour for the food even though we were told beforehand it would take a maximum of 30 minutes. The food was rather mediocre. I think it was partly because it was completely booked. Price performance is not right here. It was excessively loud because the music was very loud and people were just talking even louder

The store was very crowded. We waited almost two hours for our food. When our burgers were brought, another 20 minutes passed and then we got our fries. It really wasn't a nice cozy meal!

Since we wanted to go to a performance in the Rudolf Weber Arena, which took place at 8 p.m., we reserved a table for 6 p.m. This was also a good idea as it was super busy even during the week and people were queuing out the door. Unfortunately, it took about half an hour before we could place our first order. After 40 minutes we were told that it would take another 15 minutes for the food to arrive, so unfortunately we quickly grabbed something to eat on the way to the arena, otherwise we wouldn't have made it in time. I also had to wait an eternity for my simple coffee. What we found particularly unfortunate was that we were not made aware of this long waiting time right at the beginning. The ambience is very appealing, but the music was very loud and was turned up again around 7 p.m. so that you could hardly have a conversation and the lights were dimmed. Two of the four cubicles in the women's toilets could not be locked and the towel paper was empty after a short time. When we then canceled our burgers (there was a large selection and we were really looking forward to them) after consulting a waitress, we were asked to top it off whether we only wanted to pay for the drinks or also the food (which we never did had received). Since the service seemed terribly overwhelmed, we would unfortunately not recommend the store. (and this wasn't the first time)

We were there today at 6:20 p.m. Ordered 3 burgers and 2 different fries. Food arrived at 7:30 p.m. Burgers were ice cold and the cheese sauce on the fries was rock hard and dried out. Everything - really everything - was of the worst quality. Even McDonalds is a delicacy in comparison. This company is run by Hans im Glück's brother. Can understand the separation of these. Anyone who thinks this food is good has either bought it or is otherwise eating rubbish in private. Really a disgrace. I only felt sorry for the waiter. He was solely responsible for the entire outdoor area and could hardly believe the quality himself.

Everything was great. The only thing I have to complain about. The dressing in the side salad is too dominant. (Sour)

Absolutely overrated and way too expensive. Service is friendly but it takes forever for someone to come to the table. Burgers were totally boring and the meat was dry. First and last visit from us.

A burger experience that is really worth it. The Peter Pane is not only very well located on the promenade at CentrO Oberhausen. The fascinating interior design is also very inviting. I have nothing to complain about the food or drinks, but the service is very, very inattentive. You have to wait a long time until someone comes to the table, and when it's 8ºC (in the evening) the door is left open and customers freeze and have to close the door themselves, this doesn't correspond to my idea of ​​a customer is king system.

We were there at rush hour, just after 6 p.m. We were quickly shown to one of the free tables and our order was taken, with a very friendly note that it might take longer as it was busy. We decided to stay and our food came very quickly (40-60 minutes was estimated by the waitress), after 25 minutes the food was there and really delicious. The staff seems overwhelmed and uninterested, it was very unpleasant there. You have to wait a long time for the food, the burger was wrong. It's a shame about the good shop and it's a shame about the old staff who were very nice. We were there for the first time today and were very satisfied. Food was delicious and the service was top. Our waiter that day was Baros and we received great advice and friendly service. We will come again! ☺️

We simply weren't served, the waiters were overwhelmed and instead made small talk with other guests, so we got up and left after 45 minutes.

We wanted to eat there because the menu sounded good and it actually looked pretty good. We came in and we were immediately drowned out by music that was way too loud. After a bit of a wait we were welcomed. As I said, it was way too loud inside, so we went outside. We sat down and then waited...after 15 minutes of waiting, we took our cards from another table because no one was serving us. There was rarely a waiter walking around outside and when there was, they were just standing around. After 20-25 minutes without service, we left again because our time was too valuable for us.

The reserved table was not reserved, despite confirmation. Allocated tables were not clean, placemats were dirty.

A very nice burger shop whose ambience makes you feel really comfortable. We took the break menu: a classic burger with small fries and a delicious thirst quencher (forest fruit vanilla & apple mint). A great deal for €10 and really well done! We'd love to come back. Hello, the burgers tasted great, but unfortunately they were only lukewarm. I think the service needs to be better because you just have to wait too long to order and get something.

After the table was assigned and 10 minutes later the menus were handed out. No service staff came within another 20 minutes. After briefly trying to contact the bar staff and they again signaled that we wanted to order, there was no attempt to serve our row of seats. By now, couples had left with hungry stomachs. Unfortunately the situation didn't change and we also got up and left. Actually, the premises were pleasant to look at, just without a concept. There was no one at the tables, it was perhaps a coincidence who was being served. It's a shame, unfortunately I've never experienced it before. Unfortunately I can't comment on the food.

Shockingly rude waiter - never again! Yesterday evening on October 2nd we were looking forward to a nice evening at Peter Pane in Oberhausen, but as soon as we entered the restaurant we were literally ATTACKED by a long waiter with blonde hair and a black shirt. He shouted at us in front of all the guests that we weren't allowed to just enter the restaurant, but that we had to wait outside the door until he let us in. His tone was absolutely disrespectful and aggressive. When we politely asked how long it would take, he told us coldly and condescendingly: "If you can't wait, go eat somewhere else!" We were absolutely shocked. We have never experienced such outrageous treatment in any restaurant. We left immediately and will never enter this restaurant again. Anyone who expects good food and pleasant service here should think twice - this shop seems to have a tone that lacks any respect.

The food and ambience were great, this time the staff was a bit overwhelmed, disorganized and not customer-oriented. Long waiting time for orders and despite reservations at the entrance and when ordering, no one listened to the fact that normal fries were brought instead of sweet potatoes. I didn't complain because it took a long time until we had our food. I know you differently!

The only reason to visit the "PETER PANE" was an invitation from a nephew. Well, reserved seats (which was lucky), you are called on your first name (cheety). The store is full and the background music is blasting at an annoyingly loud 98 dB. The burgers were there after only 50 minutes (Pretty lame, for a better fast food restaurant...). The burger with side dish was acceptable (it must be for the price). In short, I was there three times, the first, the only and the last time.

Very tasty burgers, super nice staff. The only point of criticism is the seating. No backrest isn't that comfortable and having a stranger behind you isn't either. Unfortunately, the staff is a bit overworked because there are not enough staff for the number of guests. Nevertheless, the staff is still very nice. You just wait far too long for the bill or for you to be able to order.

Among other things, we ate the lunch menu, compared to previous visits the ingredients seem to have changed. After eating we wanted to order the hot drink from the menu, but were promptly informed that the coffee machine was broken.

I have to add that the service wasn't good because I had to wait 25 minutes with my boys when they said the burgers would come in 15 minutes and we didn't get our frozen yogurt at all. You can't complain about the atmosphere, it wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst either.

Great burger selection. There are even vegetarian and vegan burgers with interesting variations (e.g. falafel burger). Delicious. Fast and super friendly service. The restaurant is very open and therefore it is a bit noisy. But otherwise everything was great. Chicly designed.

Nicely decorated restaurant with unusual burgers. If you like unusual drinks/cocktails and burgers, you will definitely find what you are looking for here. From 'normal' hamburgers and chicken burgers to vegetarian options through to burgers with mac & cheese or goat cheese and fig puree, there is everything your heart desires here. In the menu with drinks (cocktails are also an option here) everything is a little cheaper, overall the prices are similar to those in comparable shops such as Hans im Glück. The service was friendly and good, we were very satisfied overall and would be happy to come back :)

The food was really good, both burgers and side dishes and drinks. The service, on the other hand, was more like... well. We waited 20 minutes just to get tickets. Then after maybe 5 minutes we were asked if we knew what we wanted to eat (not even drinks, but food). When we said we needed a moment, no one came for another 20 minutes. The employee was very abrupt and seemed unmotivated and listless, which came across as quite unfriendly to me. After eating, it took about 20 minutes until someone came and told us we wanted to pay. All in all, too much waiting time.

It was the second time I was in Oberhausen and both times it wasn't completely full and the staff still couldn't manage to keep the waiting times under an hour. The service the first time was super friendly, but the second time the service (a different one) was very unfriendly and she gave a very annoyed impression, which she took out on the guests.

I really liked this place. Delicious burgers, nice interior, pleasant atmosphere. The only thing is that we placed an additional order and they simply forgot about us. We waited for about 30 minutes, saw that there were a lot of people and the waiters couldn't handle it. That's why we didn't bother him again. I pointed out to him that you can probably mention this when ordering drinks. He just laughed at us. With the rip-off and conceit, we've lost our hunger. We would have paid significantly more without the menu, so we just drank our drink and left. The waiter immediately went to another waiter and they both very obviously gossiped about the situation and kept looking at us. Is that supposed to be good service?? In any case, we won't be coming back again.

A bright restaurant with indoor and outdoor (covered) seating. Friendly reception. Large selection of different dishes that are hamburger-heavy. There are discounted lunch and dinner meals. The service was quick and friendly. We were even able to take the delicious food and coffee with us to go. We were there on a Thursday lunchtime and the restaurant was busy.

We ate here on Sunday September 8th. The shop was very empty. We were brought to the table and waited 15 minutes for the waiter. 30 minutes for the drinks and over an hour for the food. The food was good but I'm not used to waiting so long for everything in an empty restaurant. Were there around 3 p.m. We got out late because everything took so long.
