PETER PANE Burgergrill & Bar in Leipzig

It is disappointing that as a customer you are not even allowed to choose your own seat, even though it was empty both when you started and when you left the restaurant. Placing an order with two sauces only to be asked “Which sauces are available?” and receive the unfriendly answer: “I’m definitely not going to list all the sauces” is just as unprofessional. The drink was 90% water and also left a lot to be desired. Although the customer can choose the degree of doneness of the meat and express their wishes, it would also make sense if the employees actively asked about it.

We were really looking forward to the visit as we were always used to good food and super nice staff from other shops. However, this time we were unfortunately very disappointed. Our food came very quickly, but was cold. The same thing happened to our table neighbors later. The waiters were initially friendly and didn't seem to communicate with each other at all, so we ordered the bill from three different employees, but we still didn't get it. After further inquiries there was an unfriendly answer, even though we are really not impatient customers and had already waited long enough. Unfortunately, this really detracted from our impression.

We ate there as a group with a reservation in advance and we couldn't complain about anything. The service is quick, courteous and personable. The food is a real treat and the ambience is absolutely harmonious.

Even though I live in LE, I only recently went to Peter Pane for the first time. Since then I've been there two more times, which speaks for itself. The food - we mostly ate burgers - is incredibly tasty. Juicy patties, fluffy buns, delicious sauces. All around nice and perfect service. Last time we were offered a special burger meat for a small extra price... I don't know if that's always available, but it was very, very tasty and I and my girlfriend enjoyed it. I love the fries variants. The homemade lemonades are good too. So, just try it out. It is advisable to reserve in advance, as the restaurant is usually fully booked, especially in the evenings.

Our burgers were pretty tasty and our waitress named Dominic was pretty friendly and accommodating. However, we found the music to be stressful most of the time and there was no way to properly take off or hang up our jackets. Most people are probably sitting on their jackets or have them squeezed next to them in some way. We brought this up with our waitress and Dominic came up with a creative solution. Maybe it would be worth considering creating an option for the jackets somewhere.

Very nicely decorated restaurant. Very friendly staff. The burgers are super tasty and the brie with cranberries is to die for. Uncanny taste explosion on the tongue. I would love to come back again!

The two of us had dinner. It was really a very tasty evening. The waiter was extremely courteous and friendly. We had 2 sodas, burgers and a large portion of fries mix for 2. The food came after a good half hour - so it was within the time frame. Very tasty and not too greasy or too sweet. The price was just under €50 without a tip - which is perfectly fine in these times of extremely expensive burger restaurants. Overall, a really nice evening and worth recommending.

Spent a relaxing birthday party there. A really nice table was reserved for us. The selection on the menu is very good. The burgers weren't quite as warm as they should have been, but still very tasty. The service was excellent. Requests for changes were taken into account and there was also a small free dessert for me.

We were there this evening. Thanks to the quick and easy online reservation, there is no problem getting a table. We had a super nice waiter who looked after us great. Food delicious as always. We'd love to come back on our next trip to Leipzig. Highly recommended.

Went there for the second time yesterday, unannounced and without a reservation. Even though it was really packed...we definitely got a table for two... The ambience as well as the service were really great.. We were served very quickly and in an extremely friendly manner.. The food was absolutely top class 👌 We'll definitely come back next time...

Really nice here. Staff is very friendly. Service sometimes leaves a lot to be desired. Would have liked to order another drink. But if you sit around for almost 45 minutes and don't have the opportunity to order anything... that's of course very unpleasant.

The food was really good and our waiter Jonas really sweetened our evening. He responded quickly to our complaint that the fries were cold and brought us new ones. We were also warmly greeted at the door. There we were immediately recommended a drink that tasted delicious for €5. In general, you can say that this restaurant is well coordinated and you noticed that the staff work together really well. As someone who owns a restaurant, we can only report positively. The next time we are in Leipzog we will come back.

We are extremely disappointed with our experience at this restaurant. We had to wait a long time for our food, and when it finally arrived, it was cold. Even after the waiter took it back to reheat, it was still cold when returned to us. The cocktails were bland and watery, lacking any real flavor. We are very frustrated and dissatisfied with the entire experience.

We had a quick bite to eat at Peter Pane before the concert. The service was quick and courteous. The food was on the table in no time. The homemade lemonades were delicious and large.

The Peter Pane is a very tasty restaurant with a nice staff and a nice ambience. The burgers are juicy and well topped and not like a cheap burger from any snack bar. Tip for the kitchen: Falafel is seasoned with coriander to add flavor.

Good Gordon said: "If you're in Leipzig, then go eat a burger at the farms around the corner!" - No sooner said than done... Now we're standing there at the entrance and we're assigned a table??? Holla, where are we now? At first glance it's a pretty classy place - for burgers, but at second glance it's also quite nice. The super-friendly attention of the employees seems to be part of the corporate identity here and that ran like a common thread. We felt really comfortable. And the map? There was something for mothers, fathers, children, carnivores, vegetarians and vegans. For a burger that costs just under 20 euros, it's quite expensive, but we were really happy to pay for the result. And the toilet? Suspiciously deep handle. Children's door, cool. With this and also with the audio story in the village, the little ones and therefore everything was thought of, as we believe. Men and women share the sinks. A bit strange but with a funny factor... It was super clean, with a relatively high number of strokes. That was a really great evening. A full recommendation from us!!!

Among the best burger restaurants I have been to. With favourable prices and a variety of options to choose from. Will recommend to anyone visiting Leipzig.

The truffle burger was very good, the fries were didn’t like that much. The place is also nicely decorated and has a welcoming ambiance. Food came within 25-30 minutes. However the tables have tiny benches instead of chairs, so if you are more then two people it’s a bit uncomfortable

Service was great, allergens were addressed and explained well. Food came very quickly and was still really good. Only the tortillas from the kids menu were a bit spicy in my opinion.

Despite its good reviews, we were left waiting at the door for a long time, even though the staff clearly saw us. No one informed us about the wait or seating arrangements. When we were finally seated, the waiter seemed indifferent and unfriendly for no apparent reason. Unfortunately, the food didn’t make up for the poor service – the cheese inside the burger wasn’t even melted. For the high prices they charge, we expected much better. Overall, it was not worth the cost, any other burger restaurant would have been much better. Be warned...

Nice reception, very nice atmosphere, clean and clear menus, tasty, high quality burgers, very attentive service from Dominik, who stands out with great recommendations and carefully polite manners - unfortunately this is no longer a given these days It was a really successful stay and - also very important - our clothes didn't smell of food after the visit thanks to the good ventilation. We'll be happy to come back.

Delicious burgers in a cool location, gladly again.

Me and my partner have been to Peter Pane pretty often since we moved to Leipzig. Firstly the food is amazing, it’s consistently delicious every time we go. We even have a regular order which is a little bit difficult but it’s always made perfectly. The staff are brilliant and welcoming, in particular Dom is fantastic. We have had Dom as a server on several occasions and he has remembered our names and order since our first/ second visit. We are always treated as friends when we eat in Peter Pane and it’s now our favourite place to go. Couldn’t recommend it more.

This time visiting Peter Pane was even better than the first time. The service was amazing, the drinks were cold and the burgers were exceptional (as always). It was my wife's birthday and there was a little extra decoration, nothing over the top but a simple touch that made all the difference. While we waited for the burgers, my daughter was painting and having fun, and I was able to chat and laugh with my wife. It was just great.

Booking online and confirmation quickly and easily. The first impression of PeterPane was good, and the reception immediately confirmed the good feeling. Checking in with the “Luca app” was easy and paved access to the restaurant. The entire environment was very attractively designed, very clean and well maintained. The sanitary area also had no cause for complaint. The allocation of seats and the provision of cards also went according to our expectations. The selection, which was very clear and, above all, very responsive, was also uncomplicated. Drinks and food were served at a reasonable time, as befits a good restaurant. The dishes were not only a delight for the palate, but also for the eyes. Special requests were addressed and implemented in exactly the same way. What should be emphasized is the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff responsible for us, not intrusive but always appropriate for the position. In general, it was noted that the entire staff enjoyed their work and did it with full commitment. One thing is certain for us: if we are in Leipzig again, we will definitely be back at PeterPane.

I had the “Naturbursche” burger and it was really tasty! Service was very nice and quick. I only found the music a little annoying that evening - pop music that was too loud and tiring.

Very nice atmosphere. We were greeted warmly and were seated straight away. But that was probably because it was between 4 and 5 p.m. The service was very friendly. There is a diverse selection of burgers and drinks. We also received good advice.

Vegan special dish: "Falafel Morgana" burger (crispy) with a small side salad (crunchy) and thirst quencher "apple mint" (sweet and fresh). The service staff remain friendly even during stressful operations and are there quickly. The ambience in combination with the pop background music has a lounge-like feel. A matter of taste - I liked it. At peak times (lunch + evening) you have to be patient in the waiting area without a reservation.

The ambience in the restaurant is modern and the targeted lighting creates a cozy atmosphere. The selection of burgers is definitely large, but the burgers lack that certain something that would make them special. The ARD Marktcheck format showed us that many burgers only contain convenience food, which has little to do with homemade quality. For a price of 12 to 19 euros per burger, you expect something special in a burger restaurant, especially homemade burgers with a unique taste experience. The burgers are also small in size. Of course, we understand that a restaurant has to work economically in order to be able to pay its employees fairly. However, we will avoid this restaurant in the future and prefer to enjoy a delicious, homemade burger at home instead. Conclusion: Not a fair price-performance ratio.

The one star for the service is grossly exaggerated. We were taken to the square and waited 30 minutes. During that time the “employees” didn’t manage to bring us a card. The way they work there makes me want a vacation.

Unfortunately a failure. You can get burgers better at home. I had the Macho Nacho, the patty's tasted like they came from the supermarket. There were fries and onion rings as a side dish. Fries were soggy, but at least the onion rings were good. I would definitely not recommend the restaurant. The quality and the price-performance ratio are disproportionate.

(Iced tea and recommended non-alcoholic aperitif) The burgers (Macho Nacho & Mango Tango) were served very quickly. Burgers were very large and tasty. The chicken burger was very juicy. Unfortunately the beef patty was dry and rubbery. It tasted like a frozen product. They were both very average. Unfortunately, the fries were soggy and didn't taste fresh either. The vegan mayo was surprisingly delicious. The seats in the restaurant were so uncomfortable that we skipped dessert. If you want to stay longer, you should bring seat cushions. Unfortunately, the obligatory leaning back after a meal is not possible with a stool. It was a nice evening
