We were thrilled. Very friendly staff, a beautiful modern atmosphere. My companion was delighted, and we would gladly return if we are ever in Leipzig again. Highly recommended. Reservations are advisable.

The food, service, and atmosphere are all great. Beautifully decorated. But for 5 stars, there would need to be more space and better chairs. It's quite cramped, and for two people, the bench is rather tight; you can often feel the back of the person at the next table. The prices aren't cheap either. It's impossible to get a burger, fries, and a drink for under €25. I don't know if that's normal these days.

Everything was great. The service was very (child-)friendly and helpful.

First the positives: fast and friendly service, great atmosphere, good light beer. Now the negatives: I can't understand the many positive reviews regarding the burgers; we had a total of four different burgers and all agreed that the quality of the meat didn't even begin to justify the price; you could almost think we were served frozen meat. The meat quality was barely, if at all, different from that of well-known fast-food chains. Conclusion: Not good at all.

I'm very disappointed. I ordered delivery from their website. Unfortunately, my food hasn't arrived. I ordered at 11:30 AM, and it was supposed to arrive at 12:15 PM. At 1:00 PM, I called to inquire. I was told that Peter Pane doesn't have its own delivery drivers and uses Uber. My order hadn't been picked up by the driver yet, and they couldn't tell me when it would be. I called again at 1:30 PM – still no delivery. Now I was offered two options: cancel or pick it up myself. Unfortunately, the latter wasn't possible due to illness (and wouldn't the food be cold/tasty after 1.5 hours in its packaging?!). So, I had no choice but to cancel. I hope I get my money back. It's incredibly frustrating to wait hungry for two hours only to find out it was all for nothing. If you offer a delivery option, you should guarantee that the food actually arrives. Aside from a brief "I'm sorry" at the end of the conversation, they offered no assistance whatsoever. I will not be ordering from Peter Pane again in the future. A shame.

The best burgers were reserved there. Next up, I'm going to try "The Legend" ;). Edit: I ate it and it was incredibly delicious. Highly recommended 👍.

We ordered via Wolt. The burgers, onion rings, and fries were cold. I won't be ordering from them again. Regular delivery services are much better. Delivery took 50 minutes.

Spoiled by Dessau, disappointed by Berlin's Ranke Street. With these thoughts, I entered the restaurant in Leipzig, hoping to experience the same hospitality I had in Dessau. And this time, I wasn't disappointed. Everything was just like the first time, from the service at the entrance to the attentive service at the table. They even recommended a suitable seat for my wife, who has difficulty walking after surgery – everything was perfect. Thank you so much! The food was also delicious; everything arrived quickly, was warm, and beautifully presented. So, I've already made a reservation for Christmas. See you soon, and best regards from Carsten and Grit.

Right at the entrance, we were greeted politely and warmly by the service manager, who wore glasses and a polo shirt. He immediately gave us the menu and chatted with us pleasantly. The atmosphere is very welcoming, and the rest of the staff is highly recommended. We'll definitely be back.

We were there for Halloween-ish. First of all the place was crowded which in itself is not really a problem, but the seating areas are so cramped that it just creates a very awkward and unpleasant experience. I'm literally rubbing backs with the person behind me and there is no room., the seats are uncomfortable and hard. It's just not a good atmosphere and experience. The burger was honestly not bad, but the price makes it very tough to recommend. We paid 60€ for two menus, which included one burger each, one beverage (non alcoholic) and fries with a couple of dips. I don't know, but our expectations for a 30€ "fast food" were impossible to meet, since at that price I'm simply expecting more than "just" burger and fries. The fries were decent, but the portion size was small. Some of the sauces were good, but the overall experience and the price just made it tough to enjoy the night. I can not recommend this place, because it's simply too expensive and at that you're not getting an experience that matches the price. If I'm forced to sit basically with strangers, while not being able to move an inch, plus it being loud in there I don't have to pay 30€ per person for that. There simply are better choices even in Leipzig.

It was a truly wonderful place.

Nice atmosphere, staff friendly but not particularly attentive to the guests' needs. We spontaneously decided to go there with six people. The burgers arrived, two of which were extremely greasy inside and only lukewarm. The fries were clearly fried too cold and soaked in grease. When we asked if everything was okay with the food, two of us confirmed that it wasn't. This was acknowledged but ignored. Only AFTER we paid were we asked what was wrong. I would have preferred this question a) to have been asked during the meal and b) to have been offered a solution. Neither happened. Even after paying, nothing was offered, although the fries were returned untouched. As a server, I would have been suspicious at that point. We paid almost €200 for six meals and one or two drinks. It was a complete waste of money.

I went there for the first time today with friends. It's a really lovely place. The food and drinks were delicious. The staff is very friendly and always checks to make sure everything is alright and that you're enjoying your meal. It's a bit pricey, but I think the quality is good. We didn't need to reserve a table for three and were able to just show up. I enjoyed our visit and we'll definitely be back!

Burgers were average, but the price-performance ratio was abysmal. 56 euros for 2 burgers with fries and 2 soft drinks – all in all, never again.

The rating is primarily due to the amazing service; Hannah was incredibly friendly and made the meal special. The food arrived quickly and was delicious, in a welcoming atmosphere.

The food was very good, they accommodated all our special requests, and the waiter was very friendly and funny. The only downside was the table being near the restrooms – it was very annoying because people kept walking by.

We got a table without a reservation on Friday evening at 6 pm. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was full, but we didn't have to wait long for our food and drinks. It was delicious and beautifully presented. The only drawback was the lack of coat hooks or places to put bags/backpacks at the small tables for two. I really didn't want to have to put my bag on the floor. Perhaps the seats could be made a bit bigger. That would be enough. We will definitely come back again!

We ate there tonight. It's recommended to make a reservation in advance. The staff were very friendly and had good recommendations. We had burgers, including a vegan one (we wanted to try it), and I have to say, RESPECT! It was amazing, as was the rest of the food.

I spontaneously went there alone and immediately felt very comfortable. The atmosphere is warm, relaxed, and sophisticated – the entire restaurant smells pleasant and feels very inviting. The restrooms were also clean and tidy, which confirmed the positive overall impression. I originally just wanted a drink, but then spontaneously decided to have fries instead. The preparation was quick, and both the cocktail and the fries with dip were delicious and served in generous portions. Despite the busyness, all the waiters were very polite and attentive. They genuinely asked if everything was to my satisfaction or if I had any further requests. Especially towards the end, the friendly waitress (Dominic) rounded off my visit wonderfully with a pleasant conversation. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable stay – I'd be happy to come back!

Fraud! Between 12pm and 5pm there's PETER'S PAUSE - MON-FRI UNTIL 5pm for 10€, but it's not on the menu, ONLY online! Actually a case for consumer protection. You could then order it and it was delivered - why not put it on the menu? Burger OK, but service bad, our request to be seated was ignored because there were only two waiters (not my problem) and we had to wait 15 minutes for the bill. When the guests at the next table reminded the waitress that they wanted to pay, the waitress got even grumpy - you're afraid to say anything. That was the last time I go to Peter Pane, whether in Leipzig or anywhere in Germany, if you try to rip off customers like that and then add to that such abysmal service!

Nice restaurant. Location right on a main road. No free parking. Parking garage right next door. Unfortunately, we had to wait more than 10 minutes for our order to be taken. This could definitely be better. Update: Service is now extremely fast and excellent: thanks Shervin for the friendly service! Food, however, is very tasty.

We didn't have a reservation and had to sit near the entrance. Due to the cold weather, it was constantly drafty. The door opened and closed every minute. Drivers from various delivery services were constantly coming, along with other guests. The concept here urgently needs to be changed. One thing everyone should be clear about: It's called a restaurant, but a cozy evening on hard benches (some of which you have to share) without backrests isn't possible for me in the long run. Some fast-food chains do this intentionally so that guests don't linger too long. Our opinions on the food were mixed across the board. From good to very good. What I did notice was that the three side orders of fries were different sizes. Otherwise, I was surprised by the price-performance ratio, despite the Happy Hour package, which is available Monday to Friday. The three of us spent €81, and that was without any major extras. I have to say, you can do better in the center of Leipzig.

Waiter Alfons is the nicest person and the best waiter there. The food is always delicious :) The Nacho Macho is also highly recommended.

Let me just say it: The patty in the burger is simply disgusting. The coffee is undrinkable – vending machine swill. It's just embarrassing that a place with such a large bar doesn't have a decent coffee machine. The service was excellent, but honestly, I would have preferred to have a delicious meal and then be insulted 🤌🏼

Best burger in Leipzig I had “der Boss” burger. Best burger experience in Leipzig, by far. Edits - More points I wanted to add in the hindsight: 1. The person who took care of our order, Dominik (??), was a super chill guy. He helped us with our order, he had a great temperament, and he did what every customer wants - to relax. Keep on the good work Dominik :) 2. The washroom had a nice wash basin with a sensor faucet that closes within 1 second i.e., saves water and money. Great choice there Peter Pane, you did your research well. Other restaurants should adopt this asap!

I went to Peter Pane twice and was unfortunately a bit disappointed. The first time, the service was poor; the employees were inexperienced and didn't explain the system clearly and weren't willing to answer questions. It's a shame. The second time, I was there right at lunchtime (12 p.m.). There was half a burger bun on the bench next to me. I found that very inappropriate. The burgers are generally good, but for me, cleanliness and service are essential to a visit. I won't be coming back for that reason.
