HANS IM GLÜCK - LEIPZIG Augustusplatz in Leipzig

Wir waren mit 8 Personen im Hans im Glück. Ursprünglich habe ich einen Abend vorher zwei 6er Tische bestellt, dann wurde ich am Tag vor unserem Besuch angerufen und es wurde mitgeteilt, dass es keine Tische für zwölf Personen gibt, letztendlich haben wir uns darauf geeinigt, dass wir einen 10Personen Tisch bekommen, weil zwei Personen abgesprungen sind. Das Ende vom Lied war wir haben zwei Tische bekommen welcher aber hintereinander waren und nicht nebeneinander. Also war das ganze hin und her umsonst. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, das Essen an sich war lecker aber es hat wirklich ewig gedauert bis überhaupt essen und Getränke da waren. Das Ambiente an sich ist okay aber gefühlt wird es immer enger überall, da immer mehr Plätze und Tische hinein kommen. 10-15 Tische weniger aber dafür mehr Platz zu den Tischnachbarn die man I.d.R. nicht kennt wären besser. Es ist teilweise echt unangenehm das wildfremde Menschen einem mit auf den Teller kriechen. Hinzu kommt der enorme Geräuschpegel, man kann kaum Gespräche führen es ist kaum auszuhalten, der Geräuschpegel wäre sicher auch mit weniger Tischen eher auszuhalten. Das letzte mal war ich ca. 2017 dort und es war irgendwie angenehmer und weniger voll. Ein nächster Besuch wird erstmal nicht angestrebt.

Lunch time meal. Below average burger and overpriced. Didn’t the like the wholemeal bun or the dreak fries. Not much space at the table. Service ok.

Leider enttäuschend. Hab heute mal bestellt, über Wolt, und hab den Elsässer bestellt. 12,50 für einen Burger ist ja alleine schon nicht ohne aber was dann kam war eine Enttäuschung. Von Camembertcreme und Preiselbeeren keine Spur, ein Klecks irgendwelcher sosse, die aber quasi non existent war. Ans Telefon geht leider niemand. Nie wieder!

Polite waitress, nice atmosphere but the food was a disappointment. We tried two burgers and the bacon in both of them had a strange smell and it tasted worse. Not recommended especially if you consider the price.

Super tasty. I took a breadless citizen. The chicken was great and tasted very good. We were all completely thrilled. In the end, my gluten allergy sufferers in particular were full and satisfied. Only recommended!

The Hans im Glück is worth a visit. There is an exciting selection of burgers from vegan to (almost) classic. The side dishes are varied, as are the sweet dishes and the selection of drinks. The prices are very okay and reasonable. Since the restaurant seems to be very busy, a reservation will make sense.

Was delicious. Went relatively quickly. Nothing to complain about.

We were there after the football match and it was late and crowded, but the food was awful even if we consider everything. Flank steak burger was uneatable / unchewable. Just a whole piece in the burger. Not marinated, not dryaged, no sous vide, not even sliced against the grain. Although seared nicely. Someone in the kitchen needs to go back to the basics of cooking. After an argue, they did not charge it. I also checked with my dentist, he says I can chew normally.

I sat in the almost empty restaurant for 15 minutes and unfortunately wasn't served.

The burger was super tasty, but the price of 13.00 euros just for the burger, without fries or other additions, is unacceptable for us. No wonder if the restaurant is almost empty, sometimes less is more.

Ich bin hin und hergerissen mit meiner Bewertung. Plus: der Burger und die Fries waren nicht überdurchschnittlich, aber gut! Das Personal hatte es echt nicht einfach. Die Technik zum Bestellen hat versagt während der Laden brechendvoll war. Trotzdem ist das Personal mega freundlich geblieben und hat schnellstmöglich reagiert. Negativ: Gefühlt werden hier so viele Gäste wie möglich auf so wenig Raum wie möglich bedient. Gemütlich ist anders. Scheinbar gab es Probleme an der Bar, mein Eistee wurde vergessen. Ganz schlimm war mein Cocktail. Ich kann nur vermuten, dass billiger Wodka benutzt wurde und davon auch noch viel zu viel. Ich habe die Hälfte vom Getränk stehe lassen, weil der Alkoholnur gebrannt hat. Ich wollte mich nicht betrinken, sondern ein ordentliches Getränk genießen. Qualitativ 0 Punkte.

Angekommen, draußen waren noch viele Plätze frei, hingesetzt und die bereit liegende Speisekarte studiert. Da niemand kam ist unsere große Tochter hinein gegangen und hat nachgefragt, ob man draußen bedient wird und ob es glutenfreies Essen gibt. Ihr wurde mitgeteilt, dass man draußen bedient wird und das es auch glutenfreie Speisen gibt, es würde gleich jemand kommen. Nach einer halben Stunde warten, sind wir noch einmal hineingegangen und haben um Aufnahme der Bestellung gebeten. Kurze Zeit später kam die Bedienung raus, um uns mitzuteilen, dass keine neuen Gäste mehr bedient werden. Wir finden das geht gar nicht. Wir hätten dafür Verständnis gehabt, wenn dies von Anfang an so kommuniziert worden wäre, mit einem Hinweisschild, oder mündlich bei Ankunft. Aber die Gäste über eine halbe Stunde warten zu lassen, um sie anschließend weg zu schicken , ist alles andere als seriös. Uns sieht Hans im Glück nicht wieder.

I had dinner here alone without registering. I had a non-alcoholic blackberry cocktail (very tasty), sweet potato fries (maximum 3 stars) and gold melt as a burger (also very good). For dessert there was lukewarm chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream (also very good).

As always with Hans im Glück (at least in the branches I was in). Top food Top service And the ambience is great too!

I was there for the first time. It was very nice. Absolutely delicious.

For a long time it was my number 1 spot to eat burgers. The lunch menu in particular was great value for money! But since the price adjustment you can almost go to a 4 star restaurant for that price! The quality hasn't changed that much.

We really enjoy eating out here, the locals are always tasty and have plenty of food. The staff friendly and accommodating.

Food is fantastic, large selection and everything fresh and homemade. The employees are very attentive and special requests are no problem. Ambiance is nice too, just something to lean on would be nice. It's usually quite full, so it's better to order in advance.

The pub is cool. Relaxed staff and good atmosphere. Would be served quickly. Citizen was delicious.

All about a family atmosphere at a humane price

Hans is lucky in the middle of the city of Leipzig. The restaurant for good burgers. Very easy to reach on foot or by train. The selection is huge, you can even take the burgers without bread and treat yourself to sweet potato fries instead. Sauces for the fries are available directly at the table, different types, so everyone gets their money's worth. The selection of drinks is also huge, from beer to cocktails to several non-alcoholic drinks. The staff is nice and accommodating. We hadn't ordered and came by spontaneously and still got a place for three people. Although the portions are generous, the food is not heavy on the stomach, which I find very important. I can recommend Hans im Glück with a clear conscience. I've already tried it in several cities.

Too little on the plate for the price.

For those who know, it is a Peterpane style place. There is food for every taste. Nice atmosphere delicious food. From what I understand, it gets crowded at certain times. I recommend it for its central location close to the central train station.

Top Service ( danke Lina ) und leckere Burger. Wie waren am 04.03 als Familien Abends zu Besuch und der Laden war gut besucht. Wir wurden schnell zu unseren Plätzen geleitet und haben unser Essen schnell erhalten. Das sie Burger lecker sind weiß man ja. Wir möchten den Ladeb bewerten aufgrund des wirklich Top Top Service. Burgers quite good. Often quite crowded, very narrow and somewhat uncomfortable. The tables are very small and the seats are very narrow and hard. You don't want to stay longer after eating.

When it comes to burgers, Hans is in luck. Very nice staff and the food tasted great. Come again.

We had to wait more than 30 minutes for food. We had previously been sent away from P.P. because they didn't have enough staff and were put off until an hour later. HIGL let all the guests in and was overwhelmed.

I have always wanted to visit the one in Frankfurt. Didn't know it was a chain. Service was good, the burger was nice. I ordered Pfeffer.. something. Lost a star because the fries were not very hot, and the beer a not very cold

Actually ok. Burgers were delicious. Most of the waiters too. Not all. But the most. The four of us shared 2 burgers. We didn't get the extra plates despite asking twice. 2 burgers, 2 x fries, 2x alcoholic drinks, 2x cola. 58€. That's a hefty price for this amount of value. But it tasted good.

Hans im Glück is known from many cities. The ingredients are fresh and very tasty. We came as a group and initially drinks and food were delivered quickly. The busier it got, the longer we waited. We sometimes waited over 40 minutes for a cocktail or a still soda, even though there were a lot of waiters there, so we skipped dessert, hence a star deduction.

We wanted to eat elsewhere but were notified at short notice that they were unable to cater for us. Luckily we managed to book a table at short notice at Hans Im Glück and for a Plan B it turned out very good. Great choice of burgers and sides, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Not cheap, but very good quality for the price.

Tasty burgers, chic atmosphere, but everything is very tight, there aren't any backrests everywhere and the toilet brush in the men's toilet in cabin 3 urgently needs to be replaced because the existing one really shouldn't stay like that...

Large selection of delicious burgers. Also vegan and vegetarian. Relaxed atmosphere. This is also a great place to eat with children.

Food was ok, service could be improved, but the ambience was a rather ill-thought-out concept for me. Great for students, but not so much for someone who wants to go out for a leisurely meal. That's the opinion of some of the group who were there that evening. A table was forgotten to be served, a no go. It was an experience, but there won't be another visit.

We made reservations in advance. Which was better because it was very crowded. Busy between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. But the staff, despite the crowd, were very nice and friendly. Food came quickly and tasted good too. The fries and sweet potato fries were too salty for our taste.

Here is a burger shop on Augustusplatz, the interior is a bit old, here and there there is dirt on the walls and the paint is crumbling from decorative elements, the seating is uncomfortable and so it remains with fast food... The food is for the "hip" clientele, several vegan and vegetarian dishes as well as homemade lemonades are available, the citizens are tasty but the portions are manageable. The service is as hip as the store, friendly and diverse, but sometimes distracted by their colleagues with whom they end up chatting behind the bar, you have to put up with that.

We got a place for five people on a Friday evening without a reservation. Fast and very nice service. Food and drinks were great, definitely not the last time at Hans im Glück.

Very tasty burgers...as a normal meat eater, I tried a vegetarian burger. Craziness! Service was also very friendly. There was also a little extra portion for our little son. Only sometimes the conditions are quite slow and don't ask if there are any further requests. But this is probably due to the large number of customers who are on site at times. To the dear meat eaters (as I said, I am one myself): You can also easily choose vegetarian or vegan alternatives here. It really doesn't hurt! In some ways it tastes even better.😅😉

Very cozy RESTAURANT and the food was really tasty. We're not really into burgers, but the burger on offer was really great and you can get used to it. The staff was also very friendly and competent. I can only recommend “Hans im Glück”.

It was our son's birthday, a special day. The staff were not showing any attention to us as customer. Not friendly, forgetting half of the food order. Drinks were served 20 Minutes later and to remind the staff, they got snippy. Very sad about the service. We know better from Bavaria.

Absolute recommendation from me, the time from ordering to serving was absolutely reasonable! We ordered our burger as a lunch menu and were more than satisfied. We'd be happy to come back any time we're in the mood for burgers!

Nett eingerichtet -wie alle Standorte von Hans im Glück. Nette Bedienung,ABER: Das 3.Mal bei HIG, und das Essen wurde jedes Mal schlechter. Ich habe noch nie so trockene Burger gegessen! Das Fleisch war durchgebraten wie ne Schuhsohle-ich hätte es nicht unterscheiden können...1 Salatblatt und eine Scheibe Tomate,das war's. Bedienung war sehr bemüht,aber Essen hat leider die Erwartungen nicht erfüllt. Saftige Burger sind hier Fehlanzeige. Schade.

Besuch am Abend des 02.01. Wir waren zu 4. und Kellner sagte uns wir hätten 1h 10 min Zeit zum Essen. Das hätte uns gut in den Zeitplan gepasst, jedoch hatten wir 50 min nach unserer Bestellung weder Getränke noch Essen erhalten. Mussten dann leider wieder gehen ohne etwas erhalten zu haben.

Ich war schon mal in Chemnitz, in dem Hanz im Glück und hatte hohe Erwartungen. Und ich wurde nicht enttäuscht. Das Essen war wie erwartet ausgezeichnet und die Bedienung freundlich. Trotz gut gefüllten Laden, gabe es keine unangemessene Wartezeiten. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Tolles Ambiente und sehr freundliches Personal! Das Essen war sehr sehr gut und der Cocktail der Hammer. Dazu passt auch noch preis Leistung. Wir kommen wieder.

Eigentlichen ganz lecker. Pommes allerdings zu kurz fritttiert und versalzen. Wir wurden an dem Abend auch sehr spät erst vom Personal wahrgenommen.

Disappointed with this visit. Despite specifying 'no onions,' our order arrived with onions. The waiter was good, and the atmosphere pleasant, but the food quality was a disappointment.

Бургер почти холодный, булочку не поджаривают, просто разогревают, соусов внутри мало, две капли, конечно есть на столиках, 4 вида, но оно должно у повара законектиться друг с другом, а не отдельно, сыр так и остался твёрдым, из за температуры бургера. Боул тоже холодный, заказали с куриной грудкой, хотелось бы что бы она была горячей.

Das "Hans im Glück" in Leipzig ist direkt am Augustusplatz. Es ist leicht zu finden. Wenn ihr dort eure Burger genießen wollt, solltet ihr vorher einen Tisch reservieren, da es gut besucht ist. Parkplätze gibt es in der Tiefgarage am Augustusplatz genügend. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Burger sind sehr lecker zubereitet und die Getränkeauswahl bietet für jeden etwas.

Wieder super top wie in Chemnitz. Super Essen, super Ambiente und der Service ist unvergleichlich gut. Immer wieder gern

Super netter Service, lecker Essen und Getränke, wir kommen immer wieder gerne her. Der Goldregen ist unser Lieblingsgetränk.

Echt stylisch von der Einrichtung her und doch gemütlich. Leckere Burger mit verschiedenen Pommes Angeboten und vielen Dips. Auch vegetarische Küche und leckere Cocktails. Hunde erlaubt. Lange Wartezeit auf die Getränke.

Bänke dürften ein wenig breiter sein, ansonsten wirklich eine tolle Location mit gutem Essen.
