I ordered a burger with goat cheese for €14, and there was so much of it on it. It's totally unacceptable, especially for that price.

After four days in Leipzig, I experienced good service here for the first time. Tiana in particular was very attentive, friendly and fun. World class!

We had dinner with 7 people on Saturday evening. The restaurant was well attended. We had booked the table for 7.30 p.m. and sat down there. We ordered at around 8 p.m. and the food arrived at around 9 p.m. - that was quite late. As a small apology, we were given a bowl of fries and we were also informed that it would still take a while. The burgers were delicious and there is a lot to choose from. The seating was a bit hard and the spaces were tight for 7 people.

Food is fresh and good quality like every HiG location. The service was not existant. Waited a very long time until someone gotnour order. She served people first who arrived far later. We did not get any cutlery or tissues with our meals. Had to ask for some tissues, but this was not really easy at all since the workers always looked the other direction.. The restaurant is very small trying to sit as many people as possible which means the seats are very very tight, better be underweight to fit in!

Tried Hans im Glück in Leipzig for the first time. Conclusion: Very good. Friendly staff, good selection of food (something different) and fast service. The only thing that was a bit uncomfortable in the long run was that there were no backrests. When it comes to food, I can recommend the “Orientzauber” bowl (see picture). Super delicious!

Spontaneous visit on Sunday lunchtime. Order: Double Smashed Burger and a Non-Alcoholic Wheat. The food was served quickly and tasted excellent. I can highly recommend the Mushroom & Truffle Mayo upgrade. Lilly’s outstanding service deserves special praise. Even though I was the only one sitting outside, she always had an eye on me and was there immediately if I needed anything. I received friendly and courteous advice about my order. She independently pointed out a small error in the weight of the patties, along with an honest apology and two alternative solutions. 90% of all service employees in this country can take Lilly as an example. I say “thank you” from the bottom of my heart and would be happy to come back.

This evening I had dinner there with my girlfriend. The food was great! However, I am writing this review for a different reason: A nice young lady (Lilly) served us courteously and gave us perfect advice. She was able to give us a detailed answer to every question we had about the menu and made our anniversary so much. Thank you! Highly recommended (:

Pretty little shop. Very friendly and quick service. The food was tasty. The prices are slightly higher, certainly due to the location.? Definitely recommended and would be happy to come again.

Hans im gluck is a great restraunt with a tremendous ambience.. No other restraunts are as beautiful as hans im gluck in leipzig specially.. The staffs are good and the foods are hygine enough.

Today we were guests at Hans im Glück. The welcome was good and we were brought to our place quickly. Apparently there was a disagreement within the service staff as to who was responsible for which tables and it took a while until the order was taken. My husband and I noticed that all the guests who came after us got their food before us. Then I was served my burger and my husband had to wait. According to the waiter's comment, it was delivered to the wrong table. My burger was cold. The service was not present and a complaint was not possible in a timely manner. It's a real shame...you can really do better.

It was very crowded. Tables too small for 6 people. Burgers were very small for the price. Not a good meat selection. Black ANGUS or Elbweide beef was missing.

I saw the cute signboard on the way to Mendelssohn House and came in to eat. The lunch set is a good deal. The drinks include hot and cold drinks. I ordered the double smash burger and was very satisfied.

Dishes are okay, they're just burgers. Nicely done setup, maybe. a little too dark. Unfortunately, it's uncomfortable to sit on, a bit like chickens on a perch. They are basically simple benches and 5mm padding. This also meant that the restaurant emptied quite quickly on Saturday evening.

The restaurant is easily accessible and offers an interesting atmosphere. The selection of dishes is large, but unfortunately I wasn't that convinced of the quality. It lacks the hearty burger taste, it tastes more like off the shelf. There was also very little sauce on the burger. I wouldn't recommend the burger. But the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Something different about the place. The birch trunks give the restaurant a forest character. It's not that bright. The service is friendly and the price-performance ratio is good.

The shop is completely overcrowded, uncomfortable seats, we had to wait 1.5 hours for our food and in the end the citizen patty wasn't even finished and it cost €20 per citizen, fries were cold and unsalted and the website also leaves a lot to be desired. If you're looking for comfortable, quiet places with good food, you're in the wrong place here

Tijdens de rondwandeling Leipzig hier voor de lunch neergestreken. Met de als afscheiding gebruikte, dunne, vertikaal geplaatste berkenstammen een aparte, hippe uitstraling. Je moet wel van een burger houden want veel anders is er niet. Maar wel veel keus uit vele burgers in vlees en kip varianten, frietje erbij en diverse sauzen. Prima lunch, lekker biertje erbij en weer op pad. Absoluut geen spijt!

The store is huge, which you don't even notice at first. Of course, the concept is the same as in every Hans im Glück branch, but it is also implemented very well here. The food and cocktails were tasty and we were completely satisfied.

We were visiting Leipzig for a few days and wanted to go out for something to eat. That's when we came across the restaurant "Hans im Glück". The name alone made us curious :-). No sooner said than done, the restaurant is located directly on Augustusplatz. So quite central to the city center. We had no problem getting a seat at lunchtime. And we liked everything very much. There is a lunch menu. Price/performance top. Burger with fries, cold drink and hot drink for €20 is completely fine. It was super tasty. And the ambience is great. Nice and fast staff. Thumbs up with 5 stars :-)

I was in the Leipzig branch for the second time with my 12-year-old son. Above all, the service here is top! You won't receive such friendly and courteous welcome and service in many restaurants.

We ordered burgers and coleslaw. Burgers were quite tasty, but the dressing was missing from the coleslaw. It felt like it didn't taste like anything. It's just a shame when you're looking forward to the food and then something like that comes delivered...

Yesterday I had dinner with a friend at “Hans im Glück”. I have to say the service and the ambience were really great, the sweet potato fries with the cheddar cheese cream were also really tasty. However, the burgers were inedible, the beef had such a strange and “disgusting” aftertaste and I bit on splinters of cartilage twice. Next time we'll go to Peter-Pane again.😕

We were there on Saturday evening, the restaurant was full, but the usher and all the waiters were very friendly and helpful! Unfortunately the food wasn't tasty... unfortunately there wasn't the smash burger on offer, we chose other burgers, the meat was so-so, I would have expected a little more in terms of taste from a pure burger shop... The fries were lukewarm, okay, it was full, the waiters were really busy, unfortunately the jalaoenos that came with the fries had a strange aftertaste, so unfortunately nothing to enjoy... As harsh as it may sound, the burger meat is much tastier in other burger chains, which is a shame!!!!

I just ordered burgers here and well what can I say... the picture speaks for itself. The burger was absolutely not edible. When I bit into it and tasted it and then saw it, I lost all hunger. The burger patty is still completely raw. In my opinion, something like that definitely shouldn't happen. It's a shame about the money and the anticipation you had.

Service was great! But unfortunately the food wasn't good, the chips were totally over salted, the burger was specially ordered without arugula on it. Unfortunately there was no suggestion to make a new one or any accommodation.

Quite expensive for the portion

Food ordered online after 9 p.m. is simply ignored and not delivered. You don't get any information about the whereabouts of the order. Shortly before 11 p.m. the order is simply canceled. This has happened several times now. Frustrated and lost in pity, you end up eating Bemme.
