Almost all the seating was uncomfortable, without backrests, and quite cold – the outside temperature was -12 degrees Celsius and there was a draft in the restaurant. A shame.

The fries are not vegan. The decor is okay. Seats by the large windows offer a great view…

A cozy Peter Pane restaurant in Altona. The food is as delicious as ever, and the service is very quick and attentive. We felt very comfortable.

I'm really surprised by the excellent service. The lovely Alexia not only helped us choose the right dish but also noticeably lifted our spirits. Thank you, and we'll definitely be back!

At the beginning of our visit, we were informed that the staff was very limited and that they were working in pairs. However, this wasn't noticeable at all. Alexia and her colleague provided excellent service. We didn't have to wait long when we wanted to order, and the food arrived very quickly and was delicious. We were pleasantly surprised by how well the two of them managed the place. 🙌

The staff, despite being friendly, were overwhelmed. Despite having reserved a table for six, nothing was prepared, and we were seated at a table for four. The table was cleaned, but still dirty. The wait for our drink order was the final straw.

The burger was delicious, and I highly recommend the Peters Passion lemonade. However, the service and atmosphere weren't great. It was drafty and therefore quite cold. The drinks and food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. After that, the staff completely ignored us, and it took ages to order coffee and finally pay. This wasn't ideal, as we were on our way to the musical and were now pressed for time. Peter Pane is rather pricey; the food was tasty but a bit expensive.

The food was very satisfactory. The portion size was good and filling. The price-performance ratio was acceptable.

The service was very friendly, and both the food and drinks arrived promptly. The atmosphere was pleasant and inviting. A particular highlight: the burgers were truly delicious. However, there were a few minor criticisms: the fries were a bit soggy, sticky, and quite greasy, and sitting on the benches wasn't particularly comfortable, especially for a longer stay. Overall, though, it was a good evening, and we would still come back.

The biggest rip-off of this chain! We ordered two burgers with fries and drinks. The food took almost 45 minutes to arrive, then one burger and one fries came. When we asked where the other burger was, the waiter on the other side of the river seemed very surprised, checked, and of course, forgot about it. After about 5 minutes, he came back and said the burger would be ready in about 15 minutes. After 20 minutes, the second burger finally arrived. While we were waiting for the second burger, we wanted to eat the sauces on the table with the fries, but all three were empty! There was no cutlery either, so we helped ourselves at the unoccupied table next to us. When it came time to pay, everything suddenly happened quickly, and the waiter with a chain and sexy leather pants came to take our money. The intention was obviously not to leave a tip, since the food was absolutely terrible... Anyway, we wanted to pay separately. Person 1 was told by the waiter that he'd cover the cost of the fries, at least that was something... So, Person 1 paid for their burger and drink. Person 2 also wanted to pay for their burger and drink, but then I noticed that €6.50 had been added. The waiter then said, "Oops, I mixed you two up. Can you settle this between yourselves?" Yeah, the waiter didn't mix anything up. He brazenly added the money from the free fries to the next bill. If you go to this dump, don't let the gay waiter serve you; he'll rip you off. That guy is an outrage!

It was very cool and the waitress Alexia was very nice and helpful, 5/5 stars for her.

We ate there today at noon. We were able to choose our own table. The service was friendly and the food was very good, especially my Wild Bert (a type of sausage). If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely come back. 👍👍

Stay away from their delivery service! The food in the restaurant might be okay, but the delivery service is absolutely terrible. We ordered and waited over 90 minutes for our food, even though the app indicated 20-30 minutes. There was even a progress bar in the app that simply stopped after 30 minutes—apparently, it was just a gimmick. When the food finally arrived after more than 90 minutes, the fries weren't even lukewarm. The employee on the phone said it wasn't the first time customers had complained. Apparently, this is standard practice at this place. I'm still giving the food two stars because the burger, while also lukewarm, was still okay. My suggestion to the restaurant: If you can't manage this so badly, then it's best not to offer delivery at all. Nobody's forcing you to offer it; you're only damaging your reputation. Update: I received a voucher as compensation, so I ordered again right away. Once again, they said it would take 20-30 minutes, and once again the progress bar simply stopped after 30 minutes, and it took considerably longer (this time a little over 60 minutes). At least the fries were still warm when they arrived, but the burger must have been sitting under the heat lamp for a long time; the top half of the bun was quite hard, and the lettuce was wilted. I'm increasing my rating to 2 stars for the food and 3 stars for the service, but I still maintain that something urgently needs to change. I won't be ordering from here again anytime soon and still can't recommend it.

We spontaneously decided to have lunch here on a Sunday. We were warmly welcomed and allowed to choose our own table. We drank fresh ginger tea and shared a pound of fries and crispy chicken tenders. The service was friendly and attentive. However, at almost €30 for two people, the price is quite steep considering the quality of the food. We'd gladly come back because of the location and the service.

A truly lovely version of Peter Pan. Even though we arrived quite late, we received friendly service. We got everything we wanted and were able to sit quietly. The ambiance is very pleasant and invites you to linger. The acoustics are pleasant and not, like in many other places, annoying...

I simply love this place! The burgers are really good and the fries are really crispy. I had some reservations about the vegan mayo version, but even that tastes as expected. It's a good thing, by the way, that mayo, ketchup, BBQ sauce, etc. are already on the table and don't have to be ordered separately. I find it a bit of a shame that the recipe for my beloved "Schimmelreiter" (a kind of burger with apple slices now...) has been changed. So I had to "switch" to the "Come on Bert" burger, which I had "refined" with blue cheese. So everything was top-notch and well-deserved 5/5 stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I came hungry, I left happy—and a bit in a food coma. The burger was so juicy, even Captain Hook would have made peace with it. The sweet potato fries were crispier than my desire to order salad. And the staff? So friendly, you almost forget you're only there for the garlic mayo.

A chain restaurant with significant compromises in value for money and a completely confusing menu. Assuming I'd ordered a cheap "lunch menu," I was surprised by the final bill: €15.90 for an average burger with a modest amount of homeopathic goat cheese globules, a dollop of fig compote, and a soggy brioche, €9.90 for sweet and greasy sweet potato fries (a €2.50 "upgrade" for what?), and a lemonade that primarily tasted of sugar substitutes, with at least some fresh mint, and a small cappuccino instead of dessert. I find that totally excessive. Especially since my table neighbors also received a burger plus a side (one coleslaw, one large portion of regular fries, and dessert) for €10 and €12, respectively. I probably should have asked for more details when ordering, but I'm still disappointed that I paid far too much for poor quality. The service, which was certainly courteous and attentive, cannot be faulted in any way.

I rarely leave reviews, but I have to say something positive here: The food was fantastic. Five of us went there in the evening, didn't have to wait long for our orders, and our server, Samuel, was also very accommodating. I've rarely experienced such friendly staff as here! I'd love to come back on my next trip to Hamburg!

We've been to Holstenstraße several times and always left happy and full. The staff is really good, and the food is great, too.

I ate there for the first time, and it was delicious. The restrooms are very clean and well-maintained. The service was very polite and gave us excellent advice. There were two of us there.
