Pescheria in München

We've been there twice, and each time it's been fantastic. Good drinks, good wines, and delicious seafood! Surprisingly, an online reservation for 15 people was no problem and was warmly received. (No major discussions about minimum consumption/menu items due to the large group.) We will be back!

We were at this restaurant this weekend. The order consisted of 3 oysters, 2 fish (grilled), tartare (assorted), shrimp (in chestnut sauce). The fish was a little oversalted, but we did not pay attention to the details at that moment (maybe they salt it so that it does not spoil longer), the shrimp were "boiled". The service was pleasant. The check was about 120 € (which is normal). In general, it was normal, although with nuances. An hour later I started to feel sick, and then an upset stomach ... that is, I was poisoned 🤢 For the first time in 10 years, poisoning and with such a rating in a restaurant. I exclude other places, because this was my first and last meal of the day. Not counting 3 hours before coffee, in the place where I drink it every day

We really loved the food and Service. The atmosphere was not really suitable when you are with a baby and we had to wait for some time for the service.

Excellent fish restaurant. Has outdoor seating and indoor plus a courtyard as well. Very busy Friday night. Great menu and lots of specials. Not 5* as we had to wait 25 mins after being seated for anyone to ask us for drinks or take our order. Also the tables were crammed together - it was hard to get between them to sit down.

They treated us with condescension, I felt scolded. I wanted to spend my hard-earned money on drinks at this establishment, but I was asked to leave the restaurant by a haughty waiter (a brunette with a beard) without a word of explanation. I am 25 years old, so I decided to go across the street and drank the best pina colada of my life, served in the presence of a pleasant conversation with the waiter, who did not judge me based only on my appearance.

Food was good. My wife had pasta but the prawns were way overcooked. My risotto was decent as well but definitely not a proper risotto. Rice undercooked and sauce watery. Wine selection was great and service started off top tier. There was a table next to us with 2 kids on their iPads with headphones who the parents neglected who were obnoxiously loud and disruptive. Not the restaurants fault. We made a comment to the server and he laughed it off. Their poor behaviour made for a poor experience. We tried to block it out but apparently their experience was more important than ours. We mentioned to another server who brought our deserts that the experience was definitely ruined by the poor behaviour and then we didn’t see another server for the rest of the night… Parents. Please be parents and don’t let a device do the job for you and ruin other people’s nights. Restaurants. At least have the decency to try to take your customers comments to heart and do something to make the experience better for them. Because they won’t come back and although they are tourists and you think that’s ok, they might take to Google and let everyone know how poorly situations are handled by you.

A very nice restaurant with a comfortable atmosphere. The food is excellent and the service friendly. Prices are on the high side, but fair for fresh, good fish in Germany.

We recently visited this seafood restaurant and the food was absolutely delicious especially the grilled turbot, calamari, potato as side dish and shrimp. Everything was fresh and and sauces are perfectly prepared, and we truly enjoyed the meal. However, our overall experience was somewhat affected by the waiter’s attitude. He made several comments suggesting that the portions wouldn’t be enough for two people, even when we specifically asked if they were. It felt like we were being pressured to order more. On top of that, he acted as if tipping was expected rather than optional, which made us uncomfortable. In summary: fantastic food, but the service could be improved.

A restaurant that impresses with both its culinary offerings and its atmosphere. If you want to enjoy fresh fish in a rustic atmosphere, this is the place to be. The staff deserves a special mention – friendly, attentive, and competent. You feel welcome and well looked after from the very beginning. Highly recommended! Will you be back? Definitely!

Fresh fish, a relaxed atmosphere, and attentive service – the Pescheria in Munich delivers exactly what you'd expect from a good fish restaurant. The quality of the ingredients is top-notch; you immediately taste the emphasis placed on freshness. Particularly noteworthy is the daily fish selection, which you can choose directly at the counter – very authentic. The staff is friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about the preparation and origin of the products. The wine recommendation also matched the meal well. The decor is modern but unobtrusive, with a Mediterranean touch. The prices are relatively high, but absolutely reasonable given the quality. If you love fish and are in Munich, you should definitely try the Pescheria.

Even after I was served you still came by, despite me not being in your area, but you were just you. This place HAS to promote you, otherwise it’s a big loss. Food is good but service is WOW. Very attentive service...the dishes were exceptionally delicious. We were recommended starters and main courses and arranged for five people. Everything was top-notch. The friendly waiter could work on his six-pack again 😉 It was a lovely birthday, and I only dropped one beer.

Nice fish restaurant, good food, pasta dishes with fish, many types of fresh fish, and one rotating meat dish. Prices are high, though. And 8 euros for a 0.75-liter bottle of water is way too high.

The restaurant definitely has style: the ambiance is very appealing and the atmosphere pleasantly relaxed. The service was also friendly, attentive, and pleasantly relaxed, which made the stay very pleasant. The shared appetizer was a real highlight: very tasty and beautifully presented. The main course, a fish dish, was unfortunately overcooked. It's a shame, because given the prices, I would have expected more precision. The wine list is well-stocked, but again, it's on the higher end. A Chablis 1er Cru for €90 is borderline expensive. Still acceptable, but ambitious. Overall: a lovely restaurant with good food and professional service, but the price is simply too high for what's on offer. This unfortunately significantly detracts from the overall impression. Anyone willing to pay a little more for the ambiance and wine selection will still have a good evening here. Conclusion: Good quality, but not quite right in terms of value for money.

Anyone who enjoys eating and shopping for fish knows that anything that comes from the sea isn't exactly cheap. Therefore, you shouldn't complain about the prices, as they are justified for the quality and preparation here. I also found the restaurant very invitingly decorated; I especially liked the very cozy courtyard. The friendly waiters, who always exuded a pleasant calm, also made a positive contribution to the fact that we want to return soon. A few words about the food, of course: Everything was really top-notch... very good salad dressing, a great sashimi variation with fresh wasabi, and a really interesting pasta with anchovies, lemon, pine nuts, and mint 😋 The sea bass and the cold almond cream soup also impressed us. A table next to me smashed a glass and the waiter - who somehow discerned this happening while in the kitchen - glided out, smoothly filled a fresh glass and disappeared the broken one like a veritable Jeeves.

A chic restaurant, good and attentive staff, and delicious food. Nothing more needs to be said. I was there last week and had the Busiate Siciliana with swordfish, scampi, and pistachios. It turned out to be a wonderful combination with quality ingredients that you can taste.

Great meal in the outside courtyard. Sea Breem and Sea Bass were excellent. Service was superb.

I’ve visited Pescheria twice—once at lunch and again for dinner—and each time the experience was delightful. Beyond the core menu, they offer a daily blackboard selection based on the freshest seafood arrivals, which makes choosing a dish feel like an adventure. The shared platter of assorted raw seafood was superb, and the large sautéed prawns recommended by the staff were especially delicious. The lobster pasta arrives in a generously sized single serving, so I found that sharing several dishes among a group is the best way to enjoy everything. With such outstanding seafood paired with crisp white wine, I can’t wait to return.

Very friendly service, and the cod fillet was excellent. So good, in fact, that I even forgot to take a photo. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Pesceria. Even for me, as someone who is sensitive to histamine, I absolutely recommend it.

The platter looks good, let's take a bite: 1- The small squid is frozen, and it's hard to chew like a rubber band. I think it's been sitting for a long time after frying, so it's not hot. 2- The mussels are smelly, and many shells are broken. They are the cheapest variety in the supermarket. 3- The salmon is very fishy, ​​and it feels like eating zombie fish 4- The tuna and herring are not fresh, and the quality is questionable The prawns are the best, but you have to remove the shrimp thread yourself, otherwise it's all hmmm Oh yes, 2 hours after eating, swoosh swoosh swoosh... you know what I mean

For me, Pescheria is the best fish restaurant in Munich! We were there last night, and from the ambiance to the service, everything was top-notch. Besides the super-fresh fish selection—we had ceviche and a sea bass in a salt crust (simply fantastic)—I have to say I haven't had such warm and attentive staff in a long time, and you can tell everyone loves their job. The ambiance is fantastic, and the beautiful courtyard is a dream when the weather is nice, all in the city. Perfect for a short vacation by the sea, right in the heart of Munich. And the fact that the place was so busy on a Monday speaks for itself! I'll be back very soon and can recommend it 150%.

It was somewhat surprising to find a rather expensive restaurant like Pescheria at Sendlinger Tor, but it was okay. The oysters were truly excellent, as was the monkfish, perfectly grilled and seasoned. The side dishes were solid. The service was very attentive and attentive; all in all, a successful evening.

The food is great - always delicious and there is a great selection of fresh fish and seafood. My favorite wine is Chablis Récolte, which I highly recommend. The restaurant is very comfortably furnished and has a beautiful backyard. The staff is always friendly and I feel like a special guest even though I've only been here twice. Whenever I'm in Munich, I always like to come back. Highly recommended!

we only went to the restaurant, in short, the food was great, we wanted to stay longer but the service left a lot to be desired, we came from Titisee-Neustadt, we were tired, hungry and the amount we spent wasn't important to us. The service was disgusting, there were more waiters than guests, people were laughing very loudly the whole time and arguing about something, during our entire stay no one asked: “Do you want anything else?” Are you all okay? Like a cheap place, we had to pay attention to their views, not them to ours. A restaurant of this level should have professionals working for it, it's a shame. For the level of your restaurant today, your waiters and administrators have given the restaurant 5-star cuisine and 1-star service.

Food was incredible. We chose this based on the reviews on Google and did not regret it one bit! Service was fantastic, the lady who served us carefully explained what’s on the menu and specials of the day. Recommendations were great except all were tomato based, I wish we had more variety in terms of flavour. Fresh seafood, warm food, flavourful whilst not salty, nothing to complain. Wish there’s a small space for bags or a hanger/basket below the table at least.

The best fish restaurant in town. Perfect fish, super delicious bread, with trained, professional staff and an ambience that just screams Munich.

We often go out to eat and unfortunately there are usually minor or major points that need to be improved. However, everything is right here - very nice service team, fast and friendly service, nice ambience, very good food. The fish as a whole was too expensive for us, as were the oysters (3 for €16.50, cost in the metro: €1 per piece) but the starters and other main courses are expensive but really very good. We'd love to come back!

The food was excellent, creatively prepared and a real highlight in terms of taste. I would particularly like to highlight the excellent service from Basti and Angelina. With their warm manner, attentiveness and professionalism they really made our visit special. You could tell that they were passionate about what they were doing - you rarely felt so well taken care of! Thank you for this great evening – we will definitely be back!
