The ambience is very inviting, very nicely decorated but the rest is not really good. The service wasn't really friendly, no smile, you felt a bit uncomfortable being served. The food wasn't really good either, my partner had a buritto with chili con carne...hardly any meat. I also told the waiter and he just said, “That’s chili con carne too,” right, where is the meat? We are from South America and know what a real burrito with chili con carne tastes like, but unfortunately it wasn't authentic and stingy. Also very expensive prices. My fries were cold so I had to send them back. It's a shame that such a nice restaurant can't offer good real Mexican food. The supposedly fresh homemade iced tea tasted like a powder drink.

Bad service. Food wasn’t that good if you had been to Mexico. And be AWARE they charge you tipping at the end … the only restaurant or cafe that request tipping… THEY SHOULD TELL AT THE BEGINNING NOT AT THE END. SCAMMERS 🚩🚨‼️

Authentic ambience and food, lovingly furnished restaurant with pictures of Frida Kahlo, for example, with attention to detail. Very warm and inviting - together with the music, an invitation to a short vacation. Extraordinary cocktail selection. This is very rare to find. Inviting outdoor area. Spelling errors were only caused by the good cocktails ;)

An expensive place with no similarity to Mexican food whatsoever. Food took forever to arrive, quesadillas, tacos, whatever we ordered had no real taste and the spice level was off, very plain food. They didn't even pay attention to the details. As an example, the Piña Colada came with a piece of watermelon on top

We ate as a group at Los Companeros and were very satisfied! All dishes were very tasty and the portions were really enough to fill you up. The service was great, the food came quickly and the design of the shop is really special! Even the toilet seats were chosen to match! Class! 😅 We would definitely come again!

We had a very nice evening here again. An evening on the atmospherically lit terrace is like a little vacation. We have been to Los Companeros many times and are always thrilled. The food is very good and the weekly menu is very varied. The cocktails are also very tasty. A highlight is the brunch on Sunday, where you can find everything your heart desires at a very affordable price. We feel very comfortable here and keep coming back.

Very cozy and tastefully decorated Mexican restaurant. You are always greeted extremely friendly. The service staff is super nice and always attentive. The food is very good and the cocktails are perfectly mixed. The price/performance ratio is unbeatable. We recently celebrated birthdays there with several people and the party was amazing! Chef Osman put together a great menu in the kitchen and the service ensured a quick replenishment of drinks. Chef Habib organized a great live band that really created a great atmosphere. The whole team ensured an unforgettable birthday experience. We will come back again and again! Update from August 20, 2024: We have been visiting Los Companeros regularly since it opened and I can only say: it is and remains our absolute favorite restaurant! The food is still excellent, the quality of the ingredients and the care taken in preparation are incomparable. The cocktails are also excellent. Particularly worth mentioning is the fantastic staff. The friendliness and professionalism of the team always creates a warm atmosphere in which you immediately feel at home. It's nice to see that such a high standard is not only maintained, but continually exceeded. We look forward to many more visits and can fully recommend Los Companeros!

We have been regularly visiting the Tex-Mex restaurant Los Companeros in Moosach for almost two years and are thrilled every time. The restaurant not only impresses with its authentic ambience, but above all with its always varied weekly menu, which always provides culinary surprises. The food is always fresh and excellently prepared and the variety of flavors leaves nothing to be desired. A special highlight are the cocktails, which the talented bartender creates with great creativity and attention to detail. Each visit offers us new, unique flavors that consistently exceed our expectations. The staff at Los Companeros is always friendly, courteous and attentive. We always feel warmly welcome and well looked after here. This restaurant is a real gem in Moosach and we can only warmly recommend it!

The whole thing unfolded from the back: At the next table there is a group of young people who are asked by the waiter to give a 5-star rating on Google. Reward: A tequila. Check the next day: Done! This explains our previous perplexity when eating the hamburger. Frozen patties, raw onions, soggy rolls, fries 08.15, bought salad dressing. Classic 3 star Google Food. The food is ok, nothing more. The waiter can write the same thing. You're full, that's the best thing about it. However, there is a point deduction for cheating on the ratings. Duplicate to the "statement" from Los Companeros: What exactly is an insinuation? That the patties, salad dressing and fries are purely convenience products (if not, replace the butcher and chef!) and the bun is not toasted? If you "earn" a rating of 4.7 that is higher than that of many highly decorated restaurants, then that also raises culinary expectations and you will be measured against it. Since we do not eat and evaluate marketing, but rather the real product, which disappointed us as explained, in our opinion you received a fair 3 points corresponding to the quality of the product. A cool response from you would have been to use this review, which is not influenced by marketing measures, as an opportunity to rethink your product choice. Because we are not alone with our opinion. In terms of the experience factor, you have a great concept (e.g. interior) that obviously appeals very much to younger people who are perhaps less keen on excellent products on their plate.

Cool decor, it really looks like you're entering a Mexican restaurant. Very nice service. It's a bit hard for me to describe the food here, but I'll try to be objective. The portions are large, but the tacos (approx. 18 euros) and the main course (approx. 17 euros) were not exceptional. The food was nicely presented, but it lacked flavor... I thought that Mexican cuisine had a taste that would immediately hit the palate... here I even had to add salt. Maybe I don't know much about this type of cuisine... but I think the price does not match the quality. The dishes were OK because they weren't bad... but I expected something more. I will definitely try it again because maybe these dishes were just like that...

I spent a very nice evening here with my friends, the drinks as well as the food were excellent and both came extremely quickly. In general you feel very comfortable and extremely welcome here. We recently had the pleasure of having dinner with the whole family at Los Compañeros in Moosach. Tuesdays are schnitzel day there, and of course we didn't miss this opportunity. The schnitzels were absolutely delicious and the portions were really generous - you definitely get a lot for your money. Our daughter was also thrilled with her quesadilla, which she ate with pleasure. We would also like to try other dishes on our next visit. The ambience at Los Compañeros is another highlight. The decor is very colorful and authentically Mexican, creating a happy and lively atmosphere. A small downer was the margarita, which was mixed a little too strongly for my taste. Nevertheless, he contributed to the overall picture of the evening. All in all, we had a wonderful evening and will definitely come back to enjoy the delicious dishes and great atmosphere.

just our food rating: Unfortunately the meat on my grill plate was very dry and tough. So I swapped the food with my husband but he wasn't particularly happy about it either. Since the €21 is a very steep price, he just accepted it - I had also informed the service about it and the only response I received was that she would pass it on to the kitchen (as information). My colleagues at the table didn't think the food was particularly good, but rather ok and not very good for the price and only ate it because we came from sports and were hungry. Unfortunately this was the first and last visit for us
