Pension Brandl in Wiesenttal

Very friendly landlady, very good food. Apple fritters are a must every time, so delicious! The rooms are tidy and clean. The whole guesthouse and the restaurant are very rustic and cozy. Idyllic hillside location with a fantastic view of the valley. The prices are reasonable, the portions generous. For years, we've stopped at the Brandl family's guesthouse on every trip to Franconian Switzerland. And if, for example, we've been to a concert in the Sophienhöhle cave and didn't want to drive home at night, we've added a short break and stayed overnight at the Brandl guesthouse. So, all in all, highly recommended.

I spent a short vacation here with my children, and it was a dream. Quaint, cozy, and very friendly. I will definitely visit Brandls again. Thank you for the wonderful vacation.

A charming, traditional guesthouse. It's comfortably furnished. The hosts are very friendly. The food tastes like excellent home cooking. The apple fritters are especially recommended. The view from the terrace is breathtaking. It's not for 5-star tourists, but it's cozy in its own way. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately the entire menu wasn't available (but it was also May 1st) and the food took a while, but the portions were sufficient and very tasty! Quite a nice view from the outside terrace.

Wunderschön war es hier Gast zu sein Und das Essen , vom feinsten Danke der Wirtin und die in der Küche fleißig waren. Ich komm sehr sehr sehr gerne wieder

Von außen wirkt es leicht chaotisch.... aber das Essen ist immer ein Genuß

Als durstiger Wanderer fühlt man sich hier hervorragend aufgehoben: Freundliche Bedienung, kühles Bier, liebevoll nostalgisch dekoriertes Kaffeegedeck.

Hier stimmt leider nichts außer der Aussicht. Ein Bier auf der Terrasse ist sicher ok. Aber wir haben hier zu Mittag gegessen. Die Tagliatelle mit Mischpilzen und Rahmsoße als Beispiel: Pilze aus der Dose warm gemacht. Die Rahmsoße ist braunes Wasser mit Fettaugen. Das Ganze ist leider nicht abgeschmeckt. Und die Bedienung ist selbst für das fränkische Umfeld barsch.
