Wunderschön gelegene und mit viel Liebe betriebene Jausenstation mit tollen Burgern (z.B. Wagyu vom eigenen Hof) und gutem Bier. Kids lieben die hausgemachten Pommes.

Geheimtipp. Burger und Pommes sind top. Kaffee und Kuchen gibt es auch. Ambiente ist unglaublich toll. Bierbänke im Garten unter Obstbäumen. A Draum! Nur Barzahlung möglich.

Sehr lecker! Very delicious! This was the best burger I’ve ever had bar none. The hosts were very pleasant and helpful as well. Would recommend to anyone interested in a quick meal.

The salad wasn't good, but the Wiener Schnitzel was even better. The breading was just as thick as the meat and accordingly dry, but the potato salad was good.

Very nice landlady, very good food. Apple fritters have to be made every time, they are so delicious. The rooms are neat and clean. The whole guesthouse and the dining room are very rustic and cozy. Idyllic hillside location with a great view of the valley. The prices are okay, the portions are good. For years we have stopped by the Brandl family on every trip to Franconian Switzerland. And if, for example, we were at a concert in the Sophienhöhle and didn't want to drive home at night, we added a short vacation and stayed at the Pension Brandl. So all in all, highly recommended.
