Toller Service und phantastisches Essen.

Wir waren am Freitag mit der Firma zum Teamevent im Brückla. Der Biergarten liegt direkt an der Wiesent, ist gut erreichbar und hat einen eigenen Parkplatz. Da hier nur Barzahlung möglich ist, liegt der nächste Geldautomat zum Glück nur günstige 5 Minuten Fußweg entfernt. Die Bedienungen sind allesamt freundlich und das Essen sehr lecker. Wir hatten als Gruppe verschiedene Speisen und waren alle damit sehr zufrieden. Die Preise liegen gut im Rahmen und für einen touristischen Ort noch im günstigen Bereich. Alles in allem ein Ort, wo man sehr gut und für unsere Begriffe günstig Essen und sitzen kann. Ein guter Ausgangspunkt für weitere Unternehmungen im Wiesenttal. Immer wieder gerne 😊

Das Restaurant verfügt über einen schönen Biergarten direkt am Wasser. Durch die Sonnenschirme findet man auch an warmen Tagen angenehm schattige Plätze. Das Personal ist aufmerksam und freundlich, der Service insgesamt sehr gut. Die Speisekarte bietet eine relativ große Auswahl, von Kuchen und Fischgerichten bis hin zu deutscher sowie kroatisch/bosnischer Küche, beispielsweise Cevapcici. Die Qualität der Speisen ist in Ordnung, konnte mich angesichts der doch recht hohen Preise jedoch nicht vollständig überzeugen. Insgesamt ein schönes Lokal mit tollem Ambiente, besonders für eine entspannte Pause am Wasser. !Nur Barzahlung möglich ⚠️ Fußläufig befindet sich ein Geldautomat (VR Bank)

Schöner Biergarten in toller Lage direkt an der Wiesent – perfekt für eine Pause nach einer Wanderung oder Radtour. Der Service war sehr freundlich und schnell, sodass wir uns rundum gut aufgehoben gefühlt haben. Auch das Essen hat überzeugt und war lecker. Einen Stern ziehe ich lediglich für die Preise ab, die ich etwas hoch finde. Insgesamt aber ein schöner Biergarten, den ich gerne weiterempfehle.

Herrlicher Aussenbereich mit Blick auf die Wiesent, sehr leckeres Essen und eine sehr aufmerksame Bedienung! Wir kommen wieder 😍

Hier sind wir mit dem Radl gelandet. Liegt recht schön aber gemessen an anderen Biergärten in der Region fällt es ab. Die Speisekarte enthält nur ein kleines Gericht und keinerlei Brotzeit, schade. Dafür sind die Preise etwas überhöht, so mein Eindruck. Wir hatten es nicht schlecht aber mehr als 4* mag ich hier nicht geben. Zumal der Käsekuchen wirklich 'gingso' war.

Sehr, sehr leckeres Essen! Leider ist das Personal seit dem Besitzerwechsel deutlich unflexibler geworden. Wir wollten zu einem Steak mit Steinpilzsoße die Nudeln ganz einfach gegen Pommes tauschen, was jedoch nicht möglich war, da dafür angeblich kein Preis hinterlegt war. 🙈🤷‍♀️ Außerdem wurden einige Dinge, die früher selbstverständlich zum Essen gehörten, von der Speisekarte gestrichen. Die Beilagensalate sind komplett weggefallen und bei manchen Steakgerichten werden die früher üblichen Folienkartoffeln mit Quark inzwischen einfach weggelassen. Gleichzeitig sind die Preise gestiegen. Das Essen ist nach wie vor sehr lecker, aber beim Service und beim Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat sich leider einiges zum Negativen verändert.

Das Lokal ist schön an der Wiesent gelegen. Man sitzt gemütlich mit Blick auf die Wiesent. Essen war sehr lecker. Die Bedienung Frau Schmitt hat uns bestens versorgt!

Sehr gemütlicher Biergarten am Rande der Wiesent. Freundliches Personal. Man kann den Kanufahrer zuschauen.

Ein nettes kleines Restaurant direkt am Wasser. Das Essen war hervorragend! Die Cola war mit leckerem Eis und einer Zitronenscheibe verfeinert! Der Service war freundlich. Auf der Terrasse neben dem Restaurant hingen Heizstrahler. Parkplätze sind in der Nähe vorhanden. Ein schönes Extra: Eine Dampflok fuhr vorbei.

Lecker gegessen nach einer Wanderung in der Fränkischen.

Sehr leckeres Essen und nette Bedienung. Die Portion hätte aber etwas größer sein können.

Das Essen war geschmacklich gut, jedoch war die Portionsgröße für die Nudeln mit Pute und Steinpilzen mit geschmorten Tomaten bei einem Preis von 16,90€ lächerlich klein. Es waren 2 halbierte Cherrytomaten im Essen und vielleicht 4-5 Steinpilze. Nach einem Hinweis an die Bedienung, dass die Portion ziemlich klein sei, für das Geld, kam nur als Antwort: "Joa kann sein, dass die die Portionen kleiner gemacht haben". Generell ist das Essen wie gesagt nicht schlecht, aber die Preise sind wirklich sehr unverständlich hoch angesetzt.

Die Location an der Wisent ist sehr schön, obwohl die B470 nur 100m entfernt ist. Verkehrslärm war abends kein Problem. Hatte Djulbastia (gegrilltes Schweinenackensteak). War sehr lecker, allerdings auch sehr pikant (Chilli und Knoblauch). Gerne wieder.

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 7 Frauen da und wurden von Frau Schmitt bedient. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet, die Bedienung besonders freundlich und das Ambiente am Fluss entspannt und angenehm.

Direkt am Rad- oder Wanderweg gelegen, bietet dieser schöne Rastplatz hervorragendes Essen und einen herrlichen Blick auf den Fluss. Hier können Sie typisch deutsche Gerichte wählen oder die köstliche Balkanküche probieren!

Wir lieben das Brückla wegen der Lage, dem Außensitzbereich, des leckeren Essens und der netten Leute dort. Wenn in der Fränkischen und Hunger, wann sind wir ganz oft dort anzutreffen.

Sehr schön gelegen. Leider kann man nur bar zahlen was bei einem etablierten Restaurant nicht angemessen ist. Die Bedienung war grundsätzlich freundlich, hatte jedoch merklich gut zu tun und daher fehlte das gewisse Etwas für uns. Wir hatten aufgrund mangelnden Bargeldes nur Pommes bestellen können und ein Bier und ein Radler, das Bier ist sicht- und schmeckbar sehr dünn Schade eigentlich, da ist noch Luft nach oben.

Wir waren gestern nach einer Wanderung von Streitberg aus um ca15.00 im "Brückla" und haben frisch! zubereitetes ,leckeres Essen bekommen, außerdem guten 🍰 Kuchen.Das Ambiente ist sehr einladend,die Wirtin sehr freundlich und hat uns auch noch Tipps für unsere Weiterwanderung zur Burgruine gegeben. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Durchschnittliches Essen, zu teuer, unfreundlicher Service, schöne Lage

Netter Biergarten direkt am Wasser.

Eine kleine feine Speisekarte überzeugt mit frische der Zubereitung der Speisen. Die Auswahl in st überschaubar aber abwechslungsreich. Frische Steinpilze vormittags noch persönlich vom Chef gesammelt, gab es abends auf der Karte. Der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich. Gern kommen wir hier wieder vorbei.

Die Putenbrust mit Steinpilzen war ein Gedicht. Bedinung sehr freundlich - ganz untypisch für Franken und wunderbar an der Wiesent gelegen. Klar stört die Bundesstraße ein wenig, aber im großen und Ganzen sehr angenehm. Innendrin war es mir zu eng.

The "Brückla" inn in Muggendorf is always a highlight of our vacation. The cuisine is absolutely top-notch, and the menu is comprehensive in the best sense of the word – quality over quantity. We were particularly impressed by the grilled squid, which we ordered several times during our stay – simply perfectly prepared and of the highest quality. The service also deserves high praise: the owner and team are top-notch – prompt, warm, friendly, and always open to special requests. The beer garden, right on the banks of the Wiesent River, is stunningly beautiful: sitting under shady trees, listening to the river rushing by, and enjoying a cool drink – it doesn't get any better than this. Anyone traveling in Franconian Switzerland should definitely stop here. The "Brückla" combines first-class cuisine, impeccable service, and a unique location – our absolute recommendation!

The tagliatelle with shrimp was very good, and the baked potato with cevapcici was also delicious. The location on the Wiesent River was truly beautiful.

We ate here yesterday with our family (four children), and unfortunately, the visit was very disappointing. When we asked on the phone, we were told that there were no high chairs available – we'd have to bring our own if necessary. That was the answer. Even then, you could have guessed that this wasn't a family- or child-friendly restaurant. We went anyway. Things got a bit more complicated when it came to ordering: For the children's schnitzel, we wanted pasta instead of fries, and for the bratwurst dish, we wanted the cabbage extra. The waitress, however, said the kitchen was very tired and stressed and couldn't promise anything. She wanted to check, but didn't come back to let us know. Only when the food was served did we find out that it had actually worked – that gave us a very bad feeling. Even though we were, of course, happy that it had worked. Mind you, this was children's food, and anyone who has children knows that little extra requests often arise. Additionally, there was a significant discrepancy: We had ordered wild salmon twice, but the waitress insisted we hadn't—even though we all agreed. Disputing a guest's order and saying no, they didn't order that... that's also a rather questionable method, and one could have handled it differently if they were pointing it out. But OK. Overall, she seemed very stressed, especially when the children shouted at each other. This created an unpleasant atmosphere for us in which we felt unwelcome. Things can unfortunately get a bit loud around children. Particularly noticeable: Not once during our meal was we asked if everything was okay—for us, actually a minimum standard in the restaurant industry. The waitress did ask at other tables, which made the difference even more noticeable. We also noticed that employees, whether from the kitchen or the waiting staff, repeatedly went outside to smoke. For a beer garden where guests sit outside and experience this directly, this doesn't make a good impression. The next issue came up when paying: We had two children's schnitzels without fries, but with pasta instead. However, we were charged extra for the side dishes – however, the two dishes (i.e., children's schnitzels) were priced differently, so we ordered the same thing twice but had to pay two different prices. We didn't think that was right either. When we asked, all we got was "Oh, yes, that should have been €13.90." The food itself was very tasty (although the tagliatelle was a bit cold), and the location is also really great. Unfortunately, the service spoiled the whole thing so much that we decided not to come back.

So far, I've only experienced the outdoor area and the cakes... I like to stop by here after short cave tours. The service is excellent, by the way!

Very tasty tagliatelle pasta with porcini mushrooms. The waitress, Ms. Schmitt, is also very friendly and accommodating. I'd be happy to return.

Friendly people, a lovely spot by the river, and the road traffic is very manageable. Delicious coffee, delicious cake, and good beer. Highly recommended.

It's a lovely place to sit by the river and watch the canoeists paddling.

I can't comment on the food, nor on the interior. The setting is wildly romantic. The wait staff seemed irritated that someone would just come for a cappuccino. We had to wait a very long time. We ended up paying an exceptionally high price for a cappuccino from a coffee machine (not barista-worthy): €4.50 per cup. We felt ripped off, and this in an otherwise pleasant part of Germany. My recommendation: don't go to this place for a cappuccino.

STAY AWAY FROM THE DESSERT!!! I was there today with my girlfriend; we wanted to relax and have a coffee and a piece of cake. Unfortunately, we did. But it was terrible! - The coffee was bitter. - The cherry cake was dry and the crumbles were sticky. - The apple pie tasted like warmed-up cheap goods. - And the vanilla ice cream tasted artificial and chemical. Although there were three or four servers, our food didn't arrive at the same time or together. For example, the coffee didn't arrive until we'd already finished the cake. We also had to ask twice before someone came so we could pay. It looked shabby inside and smelled musty. Conclusion: NEVER AGAIN!!

I've eaten here before. The service is friendly and quick. The food is plentiful and good. The beer garden by the river is a lovely place to sit. Unfortunately, the prices are above average. I think a pork schnitzel with fries and salad (the salad is very good) for €17.90 is excessive; those are prices like those at Nuremberg Castle.

My absolute favourite restaurant. Awesomely nice service. Water bowl for the dog at the table. Super delicious food. Yes it is a bit more expensive than the average in the region and not Franconian but Mediterranean food but I always have to stop here. Try the elderflower water and the garlic bread. I mean all the food is delicious but the garlic bread is from another world!

The beer is delicious, everything else is not very good, some dishes are missing from the menu. A half-naked man was sitting on a bench. AND VERY EXPENSIVE BEER.

Hello, the institution is good, but the prices are really higher than in other places, literally if you walk a little, you can find better prices. There were some particles in the beer, and the glasses themselves are not very comfortable (I recently removed the plaster from my hand and it was problematic for me to drink, although in other cafes there were no such problems). The food is good, but it could have been better for the price. I didn't like the attitude of the waiters. The music is terrible, I don't like it, it's better to sit in silence. I can't recommend the institution, In Mugendorf you can find a much better institution. I wish you good luck in improving quality

We entered the cafe, which seems very cozy by the river, but when we arrived, the service was not very friendly. We were immediately told that we wanted to drink without greetings or anything. Beer was brought to us very quickly, but there was no price for it on the menu (we wanted dessert, and the selection was very limited; the ice cream was only chocolate, and there were no desserts, even though they were on the menu). There were only cakes, which were on the 27-degree heat.

Nice place, but €4.10 for a glass of coke is a bit exaggerated.

The service seemed lackluster. They brought us the menu at one point, but then they didn't come back. After about 30 minutes, we finally called for our attention, and another server came over and apologized several times. Our meal (grilled platter and antipasti plate) was not good value for money!

I've eaten there several times. Always delicious. Cakes, octopus, cevapcici plates—all highly recommended. The atmosphere, right on the Wiesent River, is very relaxing. Best wishes to our waitress, Ms. Schmidt. Top service.

Beautiful beer garden by the river. Super friendly service and delicious food.

A small and fine restaurant on the Wiesent River. The food is excellent, even if it wasn't the cheapest on our trip through Franconian Switzerland. The food was top-notch. Wonderfully garlicky and seasoned. The king prawns are overpriced in our opinion. The intestines were either not removed or already cut open. But at least they provided a knife and lemon water (for cleaning your hands).

We stopped here after our day kayaking. We had schnitzel with fries, rump steak, garlic baguette, and four drinks for €67. The atmosphere on the Wiesent was super nice! Unfortunately, no card payments are accepted. Service was friendly, and the food was delicious and quick. Highly recommended.

A beautifully situated restaurant on the Wiesent River, with outdoor seating overlooking the Wiesent. The food was truly delicious, and the service was very friendly, courteous, and attentive. Perfect as a stop for a hike or bike ride along the Wiesent River near Muggendorf. But of course, it's also highly recommended for other occasions. Depending on the season, you might see a few kayaks or canoes passing by. We'd be happy to come back when the opportunity arises.

The food was very good and, above all, plentiful, which is no longer a given these days. Overall, I am very satisfied with the value for money. The service was just as good as the food. Everything was quick and efficient and was more than satisfactory. The only point that perhaps needs improvement is the beer, as there is definitely better beer in the region. The ambiance could also be improved with some "modernization," but this factor was not as disruptive as it may be portrayed in this review. So, to summarize my review, I would sum it up in the following sentence: An experience worth repeating, and one that I will repeat soon.

After a family hike, we unexpectedly found ourselves in front of this restaurant. Everyone was very pleasantly surprised by how delicious the dishes were. I had the grilled trout – highly recommended! The kids all had pasta with shrimp and were also very satisfied. The cevapcici were also very tasty. All in all, considering this is a beer garden, our verdict is very positive! We can highly recommend this restaurant. A very good mix of Balkan and Italian cuisine.

A little oasis in the Wiesenttal valley with super delicious food! Despite the full house, the staff was extremely friendly and relaxed. Special thanks go to the lovely waitress with the two braided hair ;)!

Very delicious food and extremely fast and friendly service. The young woman with the tattoos and red hair, in particular, was very attentive and accommodating with drinks and food, and always had the answer to any questions. I highly recommend the squid with potatoes or the bratwurst from the Wehrfritz butcher shop!

Unfortunately, there's nothing on the menu for children. Very expensive dishes. Half a beer for over €4 is definitely too expensive. And the bratwursts are a complete disaster for someone from Middle Franconia in Upper Franconia.
