The setup is easy and its best days are long behind it. The service is mediocre and not particularly nice. The Peking duck was good, although the small pancakes were also cold. The vegetables and sauce were from the fridge. The visit was rather disappointing.

Gestern Abend war ich mit zwei Freunden im Restaurant Peking Ente. Das Essen war sehr gut, aber die Unfreundlichkeit des Personals hat uns den Abend ein wenig verdorben. Zuerst durften wir uns nicht an einen Tisch am Fenster setzen, den wir uns ausgesucht hatten, obwohl kein Reserviert-Schild darauf war. Unfreundlich wurden wir zu einem anderen Tisch verwiesen. Auch die Konversation am Tisch war nicht nett. Am Ende wurden wir vor 10 Uhr schon ebenfalls in unfreundlicher Art und Weise aus dem Restaurant hinauskomplimentiert

We stumbled upon this place by accident, but what a find! We had Beef in Black Pepper Sauce with Chicken Fried Rice and it was superb. Unfortunately it was our last day or we would have definitely gone back. The staff were very helpful and friendly; we wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Ms. Tang put together a wonderful menu for us to eat with our staff, everything was fresh and very tasty. We felt very comfortable, a big thank you to the kitchen and the service. To be honest, the man's service was okay. The woman who brought me over said I owed him a coffin-shaped potato shreds for 15.5 yuan, plus beef. The total for one person was 24.4 yuan. I thought it was acceptable. I just said it casually when I paid. I'll give you a few cents for free. I think I'll go there often and I'm telling you this because I'm familiar with it. Worst experience ever - never again! The restaurant “Peking Ente” in Berlin was an absolute disappointment! As soon as we entered, we were greeted unfriendly, as if we hadn't been wanted there at all. The wait for the food was endless, even though the restaurant was hardly busy. When the food finally came, it was a disaster: the “Peking Duck,” which the restaurant advertises so much, was tough and dry, as if it had been kept warm for hours. This came with a side dish of tasteless, mushy vegetables that were almost inedible. But what made the experience even worse was the staff. Instead of being polite and courteous, you were shouted at loudly if you wanted to ask anything! I've never experienced anything like this - absolutely disrespectful and unacceptable. The atmosphere was spoiled by the unfriendly staff and the poor quality of the food. I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. Once and never again!

We ordered Peking duck for a family celebration. The food was delicious, although the price of €66 for 2 people is quite high (duck, thin pancakes, sauce, cucumber and leek). We found it a shame that we were greeted in a relatively unfriendly manner. The birthday was not addressed, even though it was stated in the reservation. The rest of the evening, too, the service was quite hectic and impersonal. We found the atmosphere uncomfortable. The atmosphere was quite loud and hectic and delivery people were constantly coming in and then waiting between the guests. We went to this restaurant because of the media. It was clear to me that we would order Peking duck together after my experience in Hamburg. This was by far the worst meal I have ever had. The chicken was undercooked and the service was completely uncooperative. My feedback was not taken into account - instead they said it had to be that way. After two bites we gave up because I felt sick. Price performance is not right here at all!

It was a good lunch. My boyfriend and I ordered the menu which came with a starter and main course. The starter is very tasty, but it is spicy and no one informed us. Lunch is very fair and in good quantity. The highlight goes to the protein in the dish, very delicious! The Sprite came hot and I asked for ice, other than that it was ok.

Um mit dem Positiven zu beginnen: das Essen war hervorragend (Aubergine, Suppen, Frühlingsrolle, Dim Sum) Leider haben wir (4 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder 4 und 6 Jahre alt) eine Stunde auf unser bestelltes Essen gewartet. Auffallend war, dass Gäste von 6 Nebentischen (alles chinesische Gäste) vor uns das Essen serviert bekommen haben. Nach dreimaliges Nachfragen wurde dann unser Essen so nach und nach gebracht. Etwas halbherzig wurde uns Kaffee aufs Haus angeboten.

Wie immer labte ich mich an meinen geliebten Teigtaschen (Familienrezept von Frau Tang). Jeder Besuch hier hat sich gelohnt - und der gleichen Ansicht sind auch alle, die mich jemals begleitet haben. Auf bald - und alles ist empfehlenswert.

Absolute mass processing, the quality of the standard meal (everyone the same soup and main course) was at best average. Absolutely unfriendly staff. Once and never again.

I have returned to this restaurant several times: only positive things to say about it. The service is really fast, diligent and efficient. The well-supplied map; the last time I ate jellyfish in pickles, I have never found that in France. The meal was very good. Service is very rude since they think we are all tourists and never come back. It is ILLEGAL to not offer tap water in Germany. And they refuse it like we are insects. I am going to make a request to ordnungsamt to make sure that they know that they are illegaly don't offer water to the guests. It is even printed on their english menu. But interestingly not on their german menu. For eg. I would happily give as tips what I would have anyways spent on water. Why be lazy and rude about it?

The bill on the tray was too dark, not everything could be seen and the waiter didn't give it out of his hand. When asked and only after paying, the paper printout came. Unfortunately, it wasn't until we were on the bus that we looked at the bill and realized we had been cheated. Food was good and plentiful but ended up being cold.

I thought this may just be another westernized Chinese joint offering dishes over saturated with brown sauce. I was wrong, and I was pleasantly surprised. I have never had such a well prepared snow pea dish that is dry cooked. Now I have a new dish to try at home. So very home cooking, at least the two veggie dishes I ordered. Two thumbs up by a Chinese vegetarian.

Das Essen wurde geliefert - 2,5h Lieferzeit über Lieferando. Laut Restaurant war das Essen schon 1,5 zuvor abholbereit. Die Frühlingsrolle hat entsprechend geschmeckt. Bei dem Eierreis wurde der Sonderwunsch (Sojasprossen weglassen) nicht erfüllt. Ansonsten sind die Preise für die Qualität viel zu hoch!

Ik dacht ga lunchen. En tot mijn verbazing was het erg druk in het restaurant. Ik kreeg een tafeltje helemaal achter in een donker hoekje. Nadeel als je alleen bent. Kreeg een uitgebreide map met het menu, tekst en foto's. Ik koos voor kip met kerrie. Het was best lekker, had wel wat meer kip in gemogen, maar ondank dat de kaart "pikant" aangaf was dat zeer zeker niet. Maar goed mijn lunch was goed en ik heb tenminste geluncht.

More being than appearance. You shouldn't be deceived by the first impression. The restaurant, located in a prefabricated building, looks like a normal Chinese restaurant from the outside. Inside it surprises with a very reserved decoration and interesting pictures. You can also sit outside, but facing the street. The service is attentive, fast and friendly. Questions are also answered helpfully. It is also noticeable that there are many guests of Asian origin. We were really impressed with the starters. The homemade kimchi was spicy and slightly sweet and had its own twist. The 1000 year old eggs were delicious and the fried mushrooms were really amazing. The Peking duck, which is eaten with vegetables in wafer-thin pancakes, was delicious and just right thanks to the ingredients we put together ourselves. The soup with tofu and Chinese cabbage rounded everything off. We will definitely go back and work our way through the menu. Only the green tea ice cream at the end was too mild for my taste. I've eaten better than that.

The tofu in one of our dishes was very soft and wobbly which was not what we expected. Both sauces tasted great and the fried mushrooms were also something different.

The food didn't live up to what the menu promised. Instead of crispy duck on a hot cast iron pan, there was a lukewarm plate with lukewarm duck and wobbly skin. Papier im Bier, Soße der Nudeln deutlich zu dick, süß sauer Soße hatte einen sehr komischen künstlichen Geschmack. Auf die Rechnung mussten wir 40 min warten trotz Öfteren ansprechen.

Went to this restaurant because of the good reviews. The starters, stuffed dumplings, were absolutely worth the money. For the main course we had the highly praised Peking duck... the waiter runs through the restaurant with a whole duck to tell each table that it will take about 10 minutes. You then get a cut-up duck on prawn chips, which is unfortunately dry - we had a few pieces that were unfortunately not edible. The pancakes are also dry on the edges, as if they had already been lying around for a while. The entire menu costs €66 for 2 people... My husband would have eaten it alone without a starter... Poor value for money. We were there once, it stays that one time.

The crispy duck and rice combo has helped me through my parents divorce while i was studying abroad in berlin. i hope to return to berlin one day so i could come to this restaurant and have their food again.

The quick lunch in between is actually quick and yet tasty and filling. For around 10 euros (where can you still get that today?!?) you can get a soup and baked poultry with rice and vegetables. Great location right on the Mall of Berlin, friendly service and extensive selection of food.

It's a Chinese restaurant, but the taste is suitable for foreigners, mostly sweet and sour, and all foreigners come to eat there. The lunch set is cheap but the portion is very small. אין לי מושג על מה המסעדה הזו קיבלה דירוג גבוה. הזמנו מרק חמוץ חריף - היה טעים אבל... לא חם כנדרש ממרק. גם עודף קורנפלור ועודף מלח. מנה שהיתה מאד מוצלחת - ספרינג רולס. עדינים וטעימים מאד. למנות עיקריות הזמנו חזיר מזוגג בדבש - הבשר היה יבש וקשה. הכל היה מלוח מדי. מנת נודלס עם עוף היתה לא טעימה ומלוחה מדי. בכלל - עודף המלח גרם לכך שלא יכולתי להבחין בטעמים. מה שכן - המנות גדולות מאד ונדיבות, הצוות מאד אדיב והמקום נקי ומטופח.

Die Küche dieses Restaurants ist in den siebziger Jahren steckengeblieben! Wenig, bis gar kein Gemüse. Mit zuviel Stärke angedickte Soßen. Für die schlechte Qualität viel zu hohe Preise. Nicht einmal der Mango Lassi entspricht dem heutigen Qualitätsstandard, die Dose aus der das Mangomark kam konnte man/frau förmlich schmecken. Wer sich also den Abend verderben möchte, sollte hier einkehren!!!
