Tried chicken fried rice and taiwanese chicken noodles . Both are very tasty and perfect flavors. Nice ambiance.

THE WAITRESS WAS AWFUL, COMPLETELY UNCOMPREHENSIVE, PREJUDICED AND RUDE. We looked at the roasted peking duck we had eaten before on the menu, took photos of the menu and studied it in the corner to fully understand its contents. We decided what we wanted to eat and sat at the table. When we gave the waitress our order, instead of writing it down, she spoke something in English and German with an incomprehensible accent. Finally, she said payment in cash. We assumed that was the custom there and since we didn't have any change, we handed her 200 euros. She said "Oh no" and left without taking it. A short while later, she brought the order. When we observed the other tables, we realized they didn't accept cash. I think she thought we were calculating our money while we were looking at the menu. We consider this a very rude prejudice and condemn it.

The crispy duck with roasted vegetables was drowning in a slimy sauce with mushy vegetables, and wasn't as spicy as advertised. The green beans were soft and poorly seasoned with just a lot of garlic. Disappointing.

Very good Chinese food. The service was very friendly, even considering we arrived very late. I would definitely come back, especially for the lunch menu.

The chairs outside are much too low for the table, making it impossible to sit properly. I wanted to order the Peking duck, but she told me it was only for two people. Then I asked for a similar menu with chicken, but she said no to that, too. I asked her if she had menus for one person. We couldn't get past one. I left.

I was there with a large group of people. We had a nice, large, round table. The food, whether Peking duck, the dim sum selection, or the seaweed salad, was delicious, and everyone loved it. The service could have been a bit better—our glasses were often empty without anyone asking. We also ordered four ducks, but there was a long pause in between, which was a bit annoying. Otherwise, it was a lovely evening, and I recommend the restaurant.

Sat down after looking for someone to seat us so we just sat down at one of many open tables. One guy finally came from the back and gave us menus. After looking at the prices and the service we received thus far, we got up and left.

I had dinner here with some friends during the week. The decor was old-fashioned and relatively simple, much like what you'd expect from Chinese restaurants in the past. There were three of us, and we shared three dishes. The eggplant dish and General Zuo's(?) house recipe were among the best. The mapo tofu was okay, but perhaps could have been a bit spicier in my opinion. The spiciness wasn't too high, but that's rather subjective. What I was particularly pleased about was that Pu'er tea was offered on the menu. That's unfortunately a rare occurrence. The server was friendly and very attentive. We almost got too much rice once :D Another positive thing was the separate section of the menu for vegetarian and vegan dishes. However, if you can't stand spicy food, the selection is considerably reduced. Overall, I would come back here if I had the chance to try the other dishes.

The dishes were either very oversalted or overly spicy, so much so that the meat's flavor was overpowering. We had a meal for two, but the duck breast was inedible (so salty). I probably drank three liters of water that night, so dry after that visit. I don't know what they put in there, but it's definitely something unhealthy! I don't recommend it.

I had fried noodles with duck. It was good, but not groundbreaking. Cozy place. Large portions so it is probably possible for e.g. 4 people to share 3 main courses. We each had ours and couldn't finish it all. The food came quickly and I recommend this place to others:)

What a find right by Mall of Berlin.

Genuinely floored by how rude the staff was. Weather was nice outside but felt like 38C inside. No fans or anything. I kindly asked our server if we could sit outside and the passerby waitress rudely shouted no. Our server gave me a smug look as we left as if to suggest I was supposed to understand why they won’t serve us outside and confine us to a smoldering room. All the positive reviews are either AI generated or content put up by the owners!

This is definitely a great place to eat that was really close to the Mall of Berlin, where I had just done some shopping! The staff are very authentically Chinese and I even spoke Mandarin with them! The food is great and they had books as well as a simple guide on basics for living in Deustchland that foreigners may not know about, which is excellent. Their food options were a large range of Chinese and the restaurant's decorations are very reflective of the culture as well, which is amazing. 🇨🇳

I'm sorry, I can't give more stars. I've been in bed since last night with severe diarrhea. I ate honey roast pork with snow peas. I definitely won't be going there again.

The ambiance could be more inviting, but the Peking duck tastes great. A true Berlin classic. The appetizers and other dishes are also delicious, and the service is very attentive.

We were there with several people for a birthday and were extremely disappointed, especially because of the poor service. Located near the Mall of Berlin on Potsdamer Platz is the restaurant Peking Ente Berlin. Various Chinese dishes can be tasted in two large halls that are more or less separated from each other. As the name of the restaurant suggests, however, the pecing duck is the draft horse of this restaurant. This is not cheap to buy. Even though you could certainly eat these alone, it is definitely appropriate to order them for two people. It's really sad how much is left of a whole duck at the end. The fine slices are served on shrimp chips. There is also a really delicate plum and soy sauce, sliced ​​spring onions and cucumbers, as well as 12 wafer-thin dough pieces into which the ingredients can be rolled up like a wrap. The taste experience is truly incredible and definitely justifies the high price. I have often eaten Peking duck in China and it is really very close to the original. Due to the manageable size of the portion, we recommend ordering a selection of starters. So far I haven't ordered any other dish from this restaurant, so I can't comment on them. The staff is attentive, friendly and not intrusive. All in all, a really great experience that's worth spending a little more money on for dinner.

Starters are delicious, but all 5 of the main courses were wrong, the taste was like the sauces, that's not the point and purpose, and the noodles in the soup were too overcooked, unfortunately and a shame.

We were in Berlin with a group and ate there once, a fixed menu. The landlady? behaved like a sergeant. Placed in the middle, asked to remain calm and asked questions, no questions allowed. Tea with patina and solid Peking duck The atmosphere has 90s charm, chopsticks are available upon request. We ordered a Peking duck, saw it whole briefly and thought it was great! It was juicy and to the point. A Peking duck (approx. 70€) is enough for two people, and you should order mixed vegetables from the extras. The service was nice and courteous, we would have liked a little more that questions would come when the glasses were empty. Here, unfortunately, we had to ask ourselves and do so more forcefully. Tea - yes, you can make it as shown in the picture. The teapot was probably last really cleaned a year ago... :(. It's a shame, it was tasty, unfortunately the ambience wasn't good at all and the thoroughness in the teapot or in the toilet... oh yeah 😥😒.

Unfortunately we didn't get to eat at all: The service was underground! As soon as we walked in, we were met by a scolding Asian woman who also apparently had difficulty ordering. I didn't understand exactly what had happened, but she also left the restaurant without having accomplished anything. Inside we were completely ignored. So we chose a table ourselves. When I pointed out to the waiter where we were sitting, we were quickly moved to another table in a dictatorial tone. When we brought the menus, we were told that only cash was accepted because the card terminal was supposedly broken. Since we came for the Peking duck, we limited our selection accordingly - also because I only had enough cash with me to cover the two dishes. I pointed this out to the waiter and then asked for two glasses of tap water. Given the cash requirement, I thought this was a reasonable request. The answer was: “Water costs €2.50 per glass.” Even after searching for coins in all my pockets, I only came up with two euros. My offer to pay via PayPal was also rejected. Accommodation? None – despite the circumstances that the restaurant itself brought about. That was enough for us to leave the restaurant. There also seemed to be problems at the neighboring table. I am sure that the margin on the food would have easily been enough to “handle” two glasses of tap water. I'm from Berlin and would like to make up the difference on my next visit. A little trust would have been enough and you would have gained a new regular customer who regularly brings new guests - after all, my office is right around the corner. Instead, I will now advise my customers and colleagues not to visit this restaurant. In my opinion, the damage caused is far greater than being cooperative with €2.50.

I got a very good recommendation for this place and came with a group of friends, previously reserving a table online. However, we were denied service and the staff members rudely claimed that all tables are booked and that there must be a mistake in their online system, despite the place was literally half-empty. Perhaps it’s good food, but the service and the attitude of as just terrible.

One of the few places I know of in Berlin where one can get an authentic Dan Dan Mian. And a very good one at that. Spice level is positively sweaty. As it appears to be a favourite with the travelling and expat Chinese, one has to surmise the rest of the menu is pretty close to home as well. Will visit again when the craving gets to much.

All the food was served cheaply on simple dishes. All in all, a total failure for a lot of money. The 4th place here on the net is completely out of place. Jolly is and remains number 1 for us. Everyone has their own preferences and a fixed restaurant address for certain things. So when it comes to first-class wonton soups (especially special sizes upon request), tiger salad, dim sum, Mama Tang's dumplings, etc., then in my opinion this is the absolute top address!!! My reviews can also be read photographically on Facebook. It's, among other things, the warmth and simply a well-made meal... whenever I'm in Germany and therefore also in Berlin, I definitely have to go here. This is really something for peace of mind for me. I love this food, which I always like to take with me. This restaurant works like a big family in front of and behind the scenes, where you as a guest feel incredibly comfortable and in good hands... and now I'm getting hungry again and could actually go straight back. :-)

Chinese food is very authentic. Even in Germany, it can taste the same as local food. It is very suitable for tourists to relieve their homesickness when they are homesick. The portions are also very generous. The three of us ordered a set meal for two and two small side dishes, and we were very full. Recommended for everyone who wants to try Chinese food.

Hearty and good dishes. Very pleasant service. One big downside is the heavy tipping with the amount offered for payment by card of a minimum of 8% of the bill and up to 20%. So plan on the amount of the meal!

We had lunch here. We ordered a varied plate of starters and a main course each. The dumplings were very good but the rice and noodles left a lot to be desired. We left almost the entire plate. Thus the bill was already 60 euros. When I went to pay by card the waiter almost forced me to select what percentage I wanted to leave as a tip. Taking into account that the service has not been good and that we did not like the food, I decide not to tip any. The man who took my bill didn't say a word to me again or thank me or anything. We would never return.

I tried to eat lunch here on a Saturday and tge restaurant was about 30% filled. I left after 20 minutes because I couldn't place my order even that the staff realize that I am waiting. Warning! The prices shown here on Google are no longer up to date. Main courses cost around €3 more. You only see this when you want to order online or on the menu in the restaurant. They told me that they only accept cash 🤔 I decided to spend my money somewhere else.

I didn't know how to write this review. We were so full of anticipation. I'll say in retrospect, it was and is a matter of taste. Regarding food: unfortunately a wrong choice on our part. Eggplant salad and other starters were good. Skin dishes ok, duck too fatty for the visit. Service: in comparison to other restaurants you should give this one star. You had to wait forever and were almost ignored. People were more busy clearing things up slowly. Either there weren't enough staff, it wasn't very full, or that's just how it is. A no go for us. Friendliness, warmth and well-being were completely missing. It was rather spooky. The ambience: traditional, yes, otherwise we didn't find it very inviting to linger for a long time. Very loud. Very restless. Conclusion: big hype, which unfortunately disappointed us I know old Vietnamese houses, for example in Wernigerode, which I was more enthusiastic about. It wasn't for us. Too bad. We would like to have a menu where you could try lots of small side dishes. Someone who explains things more and is happy to introduce you to the kitchen. Thank you anyway. I supported my parents and left the restaurant. I want to say to the restaurant owner: 1. Your service team has no service attitude at all; 2. It disrespects the elderly and yells at people old enough to be its parents and grandparents; 3. The manager is very incompetent, does not take the initiative to understand the situation, does not appease the guests, and also protects the waiter due to "privacy protection". Ask, many employees in the service industry carry name cards. You don't even dare to reveal the names of your employees. Are you illegal workers? 4. These waiters did not consider the interests of the restaurant at all, and actively shouting in the restaurant would have a bad influence on other customers. That's why we will never go to this restaurant.

Gestern Abend war ich mit zwei Freunden im Restaurant Peking Ente. Das Essen war sehr gut, aber die Unfreundlichkeit des Personals hat uns den Abend ein wenig verdorben. Zuerst durften wir uns nicht an einen Tisch am Fenster setzen, den wir uns ausgesucht hatten, obwohl kein Reserviert-Schild darauf war. Unfreundlich wurden wir zu einem anderen Tisch verwiesen. Auch die Konversation am Tisch war nicht nett. Am Ende wurden wir vor 10 Uhr schon ebenfalls in unfreundlicher Art und Weise aus dem Restaurant hinauskomplimentiert

We stumbled upon this place by accident, but what a find! We had Beef in Black Pepper Sauce with Chicken Fried Rice and it was superb. Unfortunately it was our last day or we would have definitely gone back. The staff were very helpful and friendly; we wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Ms. Tang put together a wonderful menu for us to eat with our staff, everything was fresh and very tasty. We felt very comfortable, a big thank you to the kitchen and the service. To be honest, the man's service was okay. The woman who brought me over said I owed him a coffin-shaped potato shreds for 15.5 yuan, plus beef. The total for one person was 24.4 yuan. Worst experience ever - never again! The restaurant “Peking Ente” in Berlin was an absolute disappointment! As soon as we entered, we were greeted unfriendly, as if we hadn't been wanted there at all. The wait for the food was endless, even though the restaurant was hardly busy. When the food finally came, it was a disaster: the “Peking Duck,” which the restaurant advertises so much, was tough and dry, as if it had been kept warm for hours. This came with a side dish of tasteless, mushy vegetables that were almost inedible. But what made the experience even worse was the staff. Instead of being polite and courteous, you were shouted at loudly if you wanted to ask anything! I've never experienced anything like this - absolutely disrespectful and unacceptable. The atmosphere was spoiled by the unfriendly staff and the poor quality of the food. I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. Once and never again!

We ordered Peking duck for a family celebration. The food was delicious, although the price of €66 for 2 people is quite high (duck, thin pancakes, sauce, cucumber and leek). We found it a shame that we were greeted in a relatively unfriendly manner. The birthday was not addressed, even though it was stated in the reservation. The rest of the evening, too, the service was quite hectic and impersonal. We found the atmosphere uncomfortable. The atmosphere was quite loud and hectic and delivery people were constantly coming in and then waiting between the guests. Unfortunately, our expectations were not met due to the otherwise rather good reviews and we cannot recommend the restaurant.

Staff quick and friendly. Menu a bit confusing. I expected more from the food. Unfortunately no Peking duck for one person.

We went to this restaurant because of the media. It was clear to me that we would order Peking duck together after my experience in Hamburg. As a well-known restaurant, I went to this restaurant with great expectations. Unfortunately we were consistently disappointed, no attentive staff and relatively unfriendly. The duck was relatively tough and lukewarm We had to wait 20 minutes for the bill alone. The restaurant was nowhere near half full after confrontation. With the deputy restaurant. Manager he just smiled and didn't comment on the whole thing unprofessional behavior by definitely not a recommendation if you want to eat Peking duck you should go to Hamburg There you can get Europe's best Peking duck (the photos look better than it was.)

Das Essen war toll und authentisch, der Service auch (also unfreundlich und mit langer Wartezeit). Trotzdem eine nette Alternative in guter Lage.

Such a good shop, especially the vegetarian dishes like the eggplant salad or mapo tofu without minced meat were very good! Lots of outside seating in summer.

A place where I would spontaneously say I would never come back. Ordinary facility. Food below average in taste.

This was by far the worst meal I have ever had. The chicken was undercooked and the service was completely uncooperative. My feedback was not taken into account - instead they said it had to be that way. After two bites we gave up because I felt sick. Price performance is not right here at all!

It was a good lunch. My boyfriend and I ordered the menu which came with a starter and main course. The starter is very tasty, but it is spicy and no one informed us. Lunch is very fair and in good quantity. The highlight goes to the protein in the dish, very delicious! The Sprite came hot and I asked for ice, other than that it was ok.

Um mit dem Positiven zu beginnen: das Essen war hervorragend (Aubergine, Suppen, Frühlingsrolle, Dim Sum) Leider haben wir (4 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder 4 und 6 Jahre alt) eine Stunde auf unser bestelltes Essen gewartet. Auffallend war, dass Gäste von 6 Nebentischen (alles chinesische Gäste) vor uns das Essen serviert bekommen haben. Nach dreimaliges Nachfragen wurde dann unser Essen so nach und nach gebracht. Etwas halbherzig wurde uns Kaffee aufs Haus angeboten.

I am vegeterian. I ordered rice with eggs. While eating I discovered, that I'm not vegeterian today any more🤣🤣🤣

Wie immer labte ich mich an meinen geliebten Teigtaschen (Familienrezept von Frau Tang). Jeder Besuch hier hat sich gelohnt - und der gleichen Ansicht sind auch alle, die mich jemals begleitet haben. Auf bald - und alles ist empfehlenswert.

We were registered here with a larger tour group. We were divided into different places, torn apart, even though there were enough free places. Absolute mass processing, the quality of the standard meal (everyone the same soup and main course) was at best average. Absolutely unfriendly staff. Once and never again.

I have returned to this restaurant several times: only positive things to say about it. The service is really fast, diligent and efficient. The well-supplied map; the last time I ate jellyfish in pickles, I have never found that in France. The meal was very good. Despite ordering à la carte and drinks, the price is really not expensive for a restaurant of this quality and so well located in this capital! I highly recommend. You would never imagine such value for money in Paris... Berliners are lucky!

The food was delicious as always. It is not sufficiently shown that card payments are only possible from €20 (and that in 2024). The waitress got a bit annoyed when we asked her about it. The restaurant probably doesn't care because there are enough tourists. We, on the other hand, are or were regular lunch guests. Since a complete experience includes not only the food but also the rest, unfortunately only 2 stars.

The food is really delicious, not typical German Chinese food. We had pork belly, chicken, duck and grilled eggplant as well as dumplings in chili sauce as starters. Everything tasted unique and, above all, good. The professional waiters are also worth mentioning.
