The two ladies watching in the shop window making handmade pasta were the decisive factor for our visit. The restaurant has a very well conveyed Italian style and you quickly feel at home. The selection of dishes is clear but sufficient so that everyone should find something nice. The carbonara I ordered was very good and the quantity was also reasonable. The service was very friendly and in general it was very nice to see that it was a family-run establishment. Grandma was at the start and totally conveyed this down-to-earth attitude. The price is in the middle range and trending upwards. But the ingredients also provide that. We will definitely come back again.

The staff is somehow very unprofessional and does not correspond to the prices. Apart from the guancale, the food does not correspond to the price and especially the quantity. The price is so high because we are in Hamburg. Overall, I prefer to go to the pizzeria next door or to the Italian restaurant behind the shop here. If you don't care about money, you'll still be relatively happy here

My partner and I shared a dinner today at this restaurant. The atmosphere is cozy, with Italian & Neapolitan songs from the past, part of the folklore. The furniture is modern, and the colour palette is driven towards white, matte, and light shades. The food is amazing: we had tagliolini al tartufo and tagliatelle al ragù - very abundant portions and very flavoured. Totally recommended - we will try it again for sure. The service is informal and the ladies that assisted us paid attention to our needs and made us feel welcomed.

The pasta was really the tastiest we've eaten in a long time, super nice service and nice atmosphere! There was really nothing to complain about.

Simply delicious! The Pasta Funghi was amazing and the Tiramisu was just great. Very attentive service and just a nice, completely relaxed feeling in the restaurant.

Forget the negative reviews - this shop is highly recommended and as the name suggests: authentic. Handmade pasta (all pasta classics and even more selection than on the menu), top wines and a very pleasant audience! I just came from Rome and was pleased with the quality! We'll be back!!! I've wanted to go to this restaurant for a long time because I was sure that the pasta there is really good. I decided to go there with my girlfriend on our anniversary. I had a reservation for 8pm, we waited under the restaurant until 8:28pm, even though the woman at the bar said we had to wait a minute for her to clear the table (there was a table outside with a few bottles on it ), we finally got a seat, we weren't given a menu for 10 minutes, we decided we would just take the menu from the website, we ordered 1 Aperol Spritz and 1 Aperol Spritz Toscana when I asked how they were different, We were just told that they were different...in the end we were brought 2 drinks filled with water and ice on the edge of the glass and no tube, no one stirred them so they tasted like water, we asked for one Change and they just stirred them, they still tasted like a bit of alcoholic water. From the meal we ordered 1 Pasta Carbonara and 1 Con Salmone. Con Salmone means ravioli with cheese and salmon, they brought me these ravioli that tasted like dough with cottage cheese, and in each ravioli there was a very small piece of salmon like a pearl, the taste of these ravioli reminded me of the salmon flavored cheese from LIDL. The carbonara was terrible, there were literally charred pieces of fat on top of the pasta that were not only impossible to chew but also disgusting to put in your mouth, they looked like black rocks. For such a price as we ate at them, you can go to another restaurant and eat more and tastier, much more! I have no complaints about the service, as I understand that it is difficult for one person to serve the whole restaurant, the complaints are to the owners of the restaurant who cannot organize everything humanely! Guys, don't waste your time with this restaurant!

Been here for the second time, the first time the reservation was only partially successful, this time everything went smoothly. - Please note that the reservation is for 1 hour. If you would like more time, you must request this in advance. Service was very friendly, food, wine and drinks were flawless.

We stopped by again spontaneously and immediately got a table for two. The bread beforehand was fresh and tasty and I'm glad that it was plain country bread instead of white bread. It is a small, manageable pasta menu and there were 2 other daily specials. The truffle pasta was to die for. The noodles are homemade. The second dish was the ravioli with salmon, which was also well received by the other person. We had dessert and espresso and were very satisfied. The ambience is just on the street and a bit narrower. But inside it is small and nice. Service was top. Friendly and immediately available if you have any questions. Prices are ok for me.

Small Italian pasta restaurant. First impression great, dining experience unfortunately an absolute flop. Moldy bread for the starter, the waiter apologized briefly, but we paid the full price and we didn't receive any fresh bread either. The pasta carbonara is a cheese sauce with charred bacon and the truffle pasta was only lukewarm. We didn't get any cutlery for the main course and had to get up ourselves after about 5 minutes to look for cutlery. The waiter was friendly but overwhelmed. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant.

I will never go back there again. I took a starter with parma and bread, the ham was not parma and the bread was stale and soft. The finishing touch was the carbonara, a pasta with that Cream and parmesan as well as the bacon were very poorly cut and not cleaned well. I've never eaten so badly, I hope the chef isn't Italian

Die Ravioli und die Tagiatelle waren auch wirklich lecker. Dazu kommt, dass die 2 Mädels im Service super nett waren. Hübsches, kleines Pastaalokal - gerne wieder.

Amazing little spot behind the Rathaus. We were walking around and coincidentally found this gem at around 8pm. We did a reservation on the spot for 8:30 and went up to St Nikolai tower to look at the sunset. The dinner was great, we had some aperol spritz, followed by amazing pasta and white wine. Finishing with a classic averna. Highly recommended

Unfortunately you can't give 0 stars for service. We were greeted with the words “you can’t just sit down.” Apparently the table was reserved, which wasn't obvious. Since the menu is in Italian and we unfortunately don't speak this language, we had to ask what some things meant. The waitress didn't seem to like this at all. "YOU already asked that" was the answer. In an extremely annoyed and stroppy tone. In addition, the menu on the Internet differs massively from the one on site. Which also became clear when ordering the drinks. I ordered a spec. The answer to this is “We don’t have ANYTHING like that here! You can drink water.” It would probably have been time to leave by then. The food came quickly. And the rest was a matter of taste.

We came there spontaneously (our second time, probably the last time) SA17.08.24 -6:00 p.m The table was dirty and it took a while for the waiters to come to us. The order was taken incorrectly and the waitress only made excuses. The carbonara was certainly not the same as the other day, it was like a super hope without cream, even worse milk, little pepper, etc., little for a 20 euro carbonara, I prefer to go to Vapiano, it's cheaper at 4 euros, it's quicker and tastier FOR SURE . We'll never come back and unfortunately we won't recommend you anymore, it's a shame actually, the first time we were there, it took a long time but there was only one person there and it was even quicker, and was the CARBONARA of my life, certainly another chef. 🤡 The girl who worked 🤦🏽‍♂️, and the blonde man 🤦🏽‍♂️. Sorry guys. You only have 20 tables, normally the kitchen is supposed to burn, not the waiters. SHAME

A small, sweet restaurant in the heart of Hamburg with a small but fine menu. The handmade pasta with truffles and the recommended rosé were excellent. The prices are typical for Hamburg, but an Italian holiday feeling in the middle of Hamburg Beforehand there was homemade pesto with bread. Gladly again

The first and last time in this restaurant. I ordered the ragut and asked the waitress about the meat. She proudly explained that the meat came from her boss's hunt. I was then given a deep plate with minced meat sauce. I couldn't taste the meat because the tomato sauce was too spicy. For this "Bolognese" I had to pay €24. My wife's cabonara had a thick, unappetizing cheese sauce.€19. The alleged original Italian beer is brewed in the Czech Republic. Conclusion: Never eaten so bad and expensive (€57) at an Italian restaurant!

We spontaneously passed the cute restaurant and immediately got a table for two people. It was very cozy and you felt really comfortable. The wine was absolutely delicious and the pasta too!!!. Since my friend couldn't decide which pasta to use, two smaller portions of different pastas were brought to him. It was incredibly delicious. We got great information about what was in which dish because the menu was in Italian (which fit the ambience really well). We'll be happy to come back next time we're in Hamburg!!!!!!

Gorgeous family-run Italian restaurant. Service was brilliant from start to finish. The ambiance was second to none with Andrea Bocelli playing in the background. The complimentary bread and homemade pesto was just scrumptious. Every dish was presented so artistically and we all loved it. They went over and above for our daughter when they all came out and sang her happy birthday holding delicious tiramisu pots. We as a family say this is a must visit when in Hamburg.

The food was very tasty, plus a nice white wine, dolce vita right in the city center. “La nonna” or Maria looked after us completely. That was actually the authentic flair that we otherwise only know from Italy.

The menu was entirely in Italian, which made it difficult to choose dishes. After telling the waitress that my friends and I don't eat pork, we were brought a pork dish anyway with the comment: "You chose that yourself, I was wondering why you chose that." I mean, she could have easily pointed out to us that the dish contains pork! When we said we couldn't eat it, the answer was: "Then you'll have to take it with you." Very bad experience with this restaurant, I cannot recommend it. Dealing with customers was not good.

Very nice little place, well decorated, warm ambiance. Very friendly and engaging owners. Original cooking with the right ingredients in the right quantity, very good balance of the taste, for instance the pesto sauce they give you with bread to wait before the first dish is something I usually don’t even try because it is normally with too much garlic and too fat, but this one had the perfect balance. I would definitively go back. Very nice place.

This is not authentic Italian pasta. The carbonara is made with cream, also not with the appropriate pasta. All fettuccine quickly sticks together, then breaks when you try to separate it. No pleasure to eat.

Ravioli Salmone was really great. One of the best pastas I've eaten. The kitchen people were all very welcoming. The young service lady was very nice, but was very overwhelmed with 3-4 tables. Simple service wasn't even included. Therefore the price is not worth it. But will come again.

Die Köchin machte einen etwas mürrischen Eindruck in der Küche. Das Essen, der Service und Preis-/Leistung kompensierten auf jeden Fall. Kleiner Tip noch ein kleiner Keks beim Espresso wäre perfekt. Aber Jamnern auf hohem Niveau!

We spontaneously got a table for two and were really happy. The service was friendly, but apparently overwhelmed and inattentive. While we were still waiting for our starter, all the tables that came after us had already received their main courses and had long since eaten them. We would have at least liked to order more drinks, but we didn't have the option to do so. After about 1 hour 15 we got the main course. I said that we had actually ordered an appetizer (burrata) but that we didn't need it anymore. “Oh, didn’t she come?” She said she’d go check, but didn’t come back again. She left so quickly that we still couldn't order drinks. There is also no question as to whether everything is okay with the food. When she collected the money, she blamed it on the kitchen. I didn't think it was okay. We also ordered the appetizer from her. Ambience: nice in itself, but very cramped. I was bumped into twice as I walked past. Food: tasty in itself & great selection of dishes, but no wow effect either. There were some very raw, translucent strips of bacon in the carbonara. I'm disappointed. The store definitely has more potential!

Afternoon table reserved for 7:30 p.m. At 7:00 p.m. an email comes with a "cancellation" - "We are completely booked, there were overlaps. But our beautiful outdoor area is reserved for spontaneous guests." This is unacceptable at such short notice! We were then there, sitting outside (not particularly nice...), 1.Wine choice didn't work ("unfortunately wine delivery didn't come"), 2nd wine choice (the same), 3.Wine not so good. The only good thing: The pasta was very tasty.

Huiuiui. I'm from southern Germany and spend a lot of time in Italy, so I may be biased. However, since the pasta here is very clearly made in Italian, I think it's okay to share my thoughts here. We had carbonara and another pasta dish, both of which the homemade pasta itself was really great. Unfortunately, the sauces were nothing special and had little of what you would expect from "pasta autentica", where real Italians probably work. When we were here at lunchtime it was quite crowded, the machine used to make the pasta is visible to everyone in the window. However, work is also carried out while guests are there, which is quite loud and a bit annoying. The service was nice, if a bit overwhelmed. A single employee managed drinks, newly arrived guests and all tables at the same time. In terms of price, it sounds okay. Overall, I unfortunately don't think the restaurant is as good as I had hoped.

We wanted to celebrate my friend's birthday at Pasta Autentica on Monday last week. Despite being obviously overbooked, they had everything under control and made it up to everyone in a way that I have rarely experienced, so that we only had a few minutes left Had to wait for our table. A huge compliment to this restaurant, we have been eating there again more and more and had a really nice evening accompanied by delicious food and absolutely courteous and professional service, I can always warmly recommend visiting there and seeing it for yourself to convince. Not recommended, typical Instagram hype without passion. It's actually the opposite of authentic!

It doesn't come close to the “Pasta Autentica” as presented on Instagram. No Nonna, just loud house music, cold, without Italian flair! The pasta was homemade and ok, but the price-performance ratio was borderline, especially since the booking times for the table were very short - a maximum of 1.5 hours. The menu on the homepage does not match the one in the restaurant either. Many dishes are not available at all. Service totally planned and overloaded. False expectations of an Italian restaurant have been created, the focus here is on quick sales on a mass basis - it already has a system catering character!

Despite having a reservation, we had to wait 25 minutes for the table. When we sat at the table, we were put off by the waitress for half an hour, saying she would be with us straight away to order the drinks. The meal also took quite a long time and everything seemed very rushed. After a while we ran out of drinks and we weren't even asked if we wanted to drink anything else or if everything was okay. When paying, the waitress didn't say enough, which only became apparent afterwards. The food was very tasty, but the service and ambience deserve zero stars, so not recommended.

NEVER AGAIN!! The image that is conveyed to you on Instagram does not match reality at all. Instead of serving "authentic" pasta, we were greeted by loud techno music and a waiter who seemed to be a bit "out of it" due to his hectic manner. Unfortunately, we fell for it because Instagram gives a completely different picture. But what should you expect if the owner comes from the marketing sector and lacks any passion for gastronomy. Not a nice place for a nice evening, handling at inflated prices. Too bad about the money. No thanks!

Positive: the food was brought very quickly, and the carbonara in particular tasted very fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is also very nice and cozy, especially the open kitchen. Needs improvement: We reserved a table for 2 for 7pm, but had to wait 25 minutes outside the door before our table became available. It then took another 15 minutes before our order was taken - meaning it was already 7:40 p.m. One had the feeling that one person in service was not enough, as other guests also had to wait a long time. There was also a hair in our food (which was then replaced immediately) and one of the glasses was cracked. All in all, it was a very nice evening with delicious food, but the service level definitely needs to be worked on!

Annoying and very unfortunate. Attentive but overwhelmed service. This makes it hectic, but the “service” doesn’t work. The food was partly OK, partly really not tasty, partly forgotten. Tomatoes, for example, too sour; one of THE main courses is no longer available before 8 p.m.; one of the sauces was relatively sour and tasted more like canned ravioli; Beer not cold. Bar untidy; Rags on the counter for minutes right next to the adjacent table; coffee has gone cold; Wine fridge open. Interior design and materials careless, untidy, partly defective (for example table holder that wobbles badly), partly simply cheap (run-of-the-mill garden chairs). Far too expensive for that. Absolutely not recommended.

We were really looking forward to the meal because we had very high standards for homemade pasta. But unfortunately we were both disappointed because the pasta wasn't particularly good. We always had the taste of the flour on our tongues. It was heavy, powerful and yet not al dente. Unfortunately, that wasn't what we had hoped for from a manufacturer. A pity!

We've been to Pasta by Jill before. We really liked the atmosphere and the food back then! That's why we reserved a table for yesterday to celebrate my birthday there. Unfortunately, we were only offered a table in the corner of the kitchen, where the pasta is usually made. There was a refrigerator under the table, so there was no room for legs, and there was a food processor on the table next to us. Plus light like in the hospital. We didn't really like this atmosphere! The staff then told us in no uncertain terms that no other table was available. That's why we decided to go to another restaurant. We think the restaurant should at least not offer the said table to customers. It's a real shame, we were looking forward to the restaurant and the good food.

Unfortunately, I think Pasta Autentica is a case of a lot of hype, but little behind it. After we ordered, more guests arrived and the waitress had probably miscalculated the tables and asked us rather briskly (she didn't ask us nicely) to change tables. The three of us then sat at a very small table for two under which, conveniently, the music box was playing at full volume and it was really difficult to have a conversation. The table wasn't freshly set for us either and we still had cutlery and napkins from our predecessors and only received fresh things after requesting them. About the food: I had the carbonara and I'm pretty sure the sauce was just eggless and the guanciale was just completely burnt. Pretty embarrassing for an authentic Italian restaurant. My companion once had the filled pasta with salmon (unfortunately only 8 pieces), which were ok, and the pasta with ragu. We agreed that the latter was the best choice, but at a whopping €22 for a normal Bolognese it was also the minimum. We also all had plates that were chipped or cracked. All in all, a rather sobering experience. A lot of things may seem very petty, but when I pay €80 for three pasta dishes, a bottle of water and a glass of wine, I expect a little more.

Small and very fine. The pasta really tasted very good and they made it themselves. We thought it was nice that we could observe the process of making pasta. Only the machine was a bit loud from time to time for the small anteroom. Otherwise very nice little restaurant with a lot of love :)

I was really excited to go and try some great handmade pasta. We arrived 5 minutes early and were asked to wait outside. Which obviously is no problem if you then get called in, but they let us wait for 30 minutes without any sign of being acknowledged/ taken care of. People who arrived later than we did actually got their seats before us. After half an hour of waiting in the cold, and also seeing other people’s orders being taken who had arrived later than we did, I decided to leave and go somewhere else. Really poor experience unfortunately. It probably has amazing food and fantastic atmosphere, but the service was terrible

Very authentic delicious homemade pasta. The ambience is also very nice. The service was also very friendly and attentive. One star deducted for the time limit when eating.

The food was quite tasty. The service was really super rude, responded rudely to questions and was also a bit incompetent. Unfortunately, this affected the atmosphere. It's a shame, otherwise we would have felt much more comfortable.

Look no further for fresh pasta. If you're on the fence, go for it. You won't be disappointed.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed. Their Instagram page gives you a cozy, Italian atmosphere, where nonna is at the stove. However, that has nothing to do with reality. You are greeted by electronic music that is too loud and a lady who seems slightly hectic. We had tagliatelle al ragù for a reasonable €22. We were on a road trip in Bologna so we know the authentic taste. The court here is miles away from that. It didn't taste super bad, but it had absolutely nothing to do with the original. The menu on the homepage is also not up to date, which unfortunately meant we were a little disappointed when we arrived there. We wouldn't visit this shop again and decided not to have dessert after the overpriced and disappointing main course. We didn't feel comfortable. Maybe the Instagram presence should be revised so that false expectations are not created.

Yesterday (03/19/2024) my friend and I went to Pasta Autentica for dinner. In fact, yesterday was also my 20th birthday and due to a family visit we were about 20 minutes late from our reservation time. After we finally got a seat after a few scrutinizing looks, we were assured several times that we would only have the table available until 7:30 p.m., which we accepted with understanding. After we ordered quickly, the very tasty food arrived. After we wanted to order a second round of drinks at around 7:10 p.m., we were again told emphatically that the table would soon be taken, which we both understood since we both come from the restaurant. A few moments later, around 7:15 p.m., everything that wasn't nailed down was cleared away and our table was cleaned with glass cleaner, re-set and new cards were placed. We noticed that we still had 15 minutes to reserve and us It has already been communicated insistently several times as to when we are wanted. The food was really delicious, but the service employee gave you the feeling from minute one that you weren't welcome as a guest and that you should be pushed out as quickly as possible. As a result, the romantic birthday dinner unfortunately didn't happen and the visit left a bad aftertaste. It's a real shame that as a guest you didn't get a feeling of hospitality. :/
