Great food, very authentic, very tasty, and normal-sized portions. Not everything on the menu is available. Everything is very cramped; there could be more space, but that's something you can overlook. Prices are high, but still reasonable. Service is friendly and attentive.

Pure disappointment! It all started with a rather unfriendly greeting and the comment that our table was "the one back there." There were two of us, and there was a choice of one table with one chair and another with three chairs. So we sat at the table with three chairs. When the waitress came, she also rudely informed us that she had assigned us the table with one chair. I found that somewhat unpleasant and inappropriate for a restaurant in this price range that I, as a guest, have to push the chairs together. For starters, we had Caprese, which consisted of nothing more than cherry tomatoes with carelessly chopped basil and a burrata (although the menu stated wild tomatoes). For the main course, I had truffle pasta, which was very mushy and no longer al dente. The generous amount of truffle shavings on top was a positive. For dessert, we had tiramisu. There was far too much cocoa powder sprinkled on top, and the portion was tiny (just a tiny glass). Overall, in my opinion, the food was overpriced and not commensurate with the quality. Especially since the service seemed bored and annoyed.

A cozy restaurant near Hamburg city center. Food was good, I like them all, just that I would personally prefer my carbonara with a little bit more salty. There was only one guy doing orders and service for almost every tables and we felt sorry for him. But in the end he was still really friendly and we enjoyed our dinner.

Really delicious pasta. The menu is limited, but that's not a negative at all. Quite the opposite. The dishes are superbly prepared and taste perfect. There's a great selection of different wines. We sat in the entrance area. It was a bit cramped, but still very comfortable. The service was attentive and unobtrusive. Dogs are welcome. Tables can be reserved online.

I used to love going to Jill's. Lately, however, I've been increasingly disappointed. The food is okay, but nothing more, so the price is unfortunately completely unjustified. The pasta itself is good, but the sauces are poorly prepared, and the bottle of still water is way too expensive at over €7. For over €30 per person, the friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere unfortunately can't convince me to return.

The taste of the pasta Tartuffe was very good but the food amount was scarce. It is a tiny restaurant so it is not really meant for very big groups. A bit pricey in my opinion, but overall ok.

The pasta was delicious 😋. I didn't taste any eggplant, but it was probably used as a filling in the ravioli.

We had made a reservation for 7:45 p.m. and received confirmation at noon. Then, late in the afternoon, we received a cancellation – but for a 9 p.m. reservation we never made. Upon arrival, we were greeted rather unfriendly by the "manager," even though we were ultimately given a table. The tone was unnecessarily abrupt and unprofessional. I come from a fine-dining background and know that there can be stressful evenings. Nevertheless, guests should be treated with respect – unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. The food tasted truly outstanding – fresh, authentic, and very tasty. Only the portion of truffle pasta was a bit small. The service was overall disappointing: unloving, inattentive, and unfriendly. We didn't tip that evening. Our politely expressed criticism was barely addressed. Conclusion: A true culinary highlight – unfortunately, the service doesn't match the quality of the kitchen. With a little more appreciation in dealing with guests, this would have been a truly excellent experience.

We visited Jil's Pasta in Hamburg yesterday and were really looking forward to the evening – unfortunately, our experience wasn't a positive one. The food didn't justify the price: The Pasta con Salmone and the Capellacci di Ricotta & Spinaci con Salvia had far too much Parmesan cheese, the sauce tasted watery, and salt was missing almost everywhere. Even a chef in our group confirmed that the dishes urgently needed an overhaul. The Pasta del Giorno with shrimp was unfortunately very oily. We also found it unusual that there was no bread served beforehand. Instead, we had to pay €3.50 for four slices with a pesto – which, while delicious, is included as part of the service in many other restaurants. The wait times were also disappointing: 40 minutes for the appetizer and almost an hour for the main courses. The friendly staff deserves special mention – unfortunately, this couldn't salvage the overall impression. It's a shame because we were really looking forward to the evening.

In our opinion, Pasta Autentica is unfortunately a bit misleading. Both the truffle pasta and the carbonara were quite flavorless without the main ingredients, i.e., truffles and gunciale, even after repeated additions of salt. Furthermore, both sauces were supplemented with cream, which isn't really part of an authentic Italian pasta dish. In principle, you might be able to overlook this, but unfortunately not at a price of €24 and €19, respectively. For the price, you definitely expect more.

Unfortunately, all I can say is...catastrophe. Yesterday I was there with a friend. We ordered pasta carbonara and pasta with ragù. My friend bit into something hard and pulled several small pieces of glass out of her food. The pasta was also very al dente, which even the waitress confirmed when she reached for her fork after I complained. There was only a brief apology, but otherwise no concessions (e.g., free drinks). We lost our appetites for the time being and were very disappointed. Never again and certainly wouldn't recommend it to others.

It took 30 minutters for is to get the water. Then they forgot our entres, and the food was very bland..

Beautiful, authentic, and modern interior, truly cozy. We ate outside on the terrace, which was also quite nice because there were hardly any cars on the street. The food and service were both excellent! Definitely worth a visit for dinner or lunch. The wines are delicious.

Unfortunately, I can only give it 3 stars. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I had the tagliatelle carbonara. It was a sticky lump and impossible to eat with a spoon and fork. The pasta was also way too peppery. The tables are set outside, 5 cm apart, so close together that the table next to us practically feels like our own. My companion also didn't find the food particularly tasty. Please improve, and then we'll be back.

Delicious but a bit too expensive

Unfortunately, the hype isn't worth it. Zero. The food is so-so, but even worse, you wake up in the night with terrible stomach pain and nausea. I would never go there again.

I just ate here with my mom. We had a reservation for 5 p.m., but arrived a little earlier. When we arrived, our waitress was sitting in the back playing on her cell phone, but then she allowed us to sit there anyway because my mom couldn't sit on the high chairs in the lobby. The waitress was very rude. We were the only two customers, and it felt like we were disturbing everyone. She was fussing loudly about how she needed to buy tomatoes and milk, but she didn't have the money and didn't want to. When we wanted to pay, the very friendly cook helped us find the waitress, who was sitting outside on her phone. My mom's ragu was delicious. I had the ravioli con salmon, which were unfortunately so covered in butter that I couldn't finish it. The ambiance is very pretty, small, and quaint. It's generally a comfortable place, but the service and food didn't match the price. Some of the menus are dirty and damaged (at least ours were). It's a shame, although we were really looking forward to visiting here.

We recently visited the place hoping for a pleasant dining experience. The pricing at this establishment is on the higher end, leading us to expect a good level of service and food quality. Unfortunately, several aspects of our visit fell short. The burrata served had a distinctly sour taste, which made me question its freshness. Furthermore, my chair was bumped by staff at several times when passing by, making the meal uncomfortable. Overall, the experience offered poor value for money.

An absolute insider tip for pasta lovers! Pasta Autentica by Jill is a true culinary highlight! The handmade pasta is not only of the highest quality, but also tastes like a mini-vacation in Italy. You can immediately tell how much love and passion Jill puts into her work – from the fresh ingredients to the loving preparation. I was particularly impressed by the perfect balance between traditional Italian cuisine and her own creative interpretations. The service was warm and attentive, the ambiance cozy and authentic. Unfortunately, it's a bit of a tourist trap. Overpriced pasta with the cheapest truffle flavor in the sauce and six token summer truffle slices in the top. Antipasti with mushrooms and beetroot from a jar.

Four of us came here with a reservation based on the good reviews. Unfortunately, we didn't like it; we were very disappointed. The service was abysmal: wine was spilled on a friend – by the waiter! – and there was no apology, just a half-empty glass of wine. The bill was the same, too… Our table wasn't even wiped; they only gave us napkins upon request. The food was rather okay, sour, and nothing special. We definitely wouldn't go back. Absolutely not worth the hype. Also, unfortunately, rather unhygienic… leftover pasta next to the Parmesan cheese loaf, smelly glasses, etc.

You can watch the noodles being freshly prepared, there are changing daily specials, and the small, cozy restaurant features very friendly, attentive service. My dish of the day lacked a bit of salt in the noodles and there was very little sauce. But overall, it was a pleasant experience.

As for pasta, this is a candidate for a Michelin star! Homemade pasta of the absolute highest quality – in my opinion, the best address in Hamburg. For a true Michelin star, the very friendly, but slightly distracted service would have to be more alert (I googled it, but they forgot the bread). The menu only includes a handful of pasta dishes, but they're quite something. This isn't a "typical Italian" restaurant, but a specialist in homemade pasta.

We were there on a Friday evening and had a reservation. The food was okay, top quality and tasted great, but unfortunately it was only lukewarm. You could tell the pasta had been on the plate for a while; the timing between the kitchen and the waiter seemed off. The pattern continued with the service: a rude greeting, table not set, overwhelmed when clearing. We seemed lucky that our food and drinks came quickly; other guests had to wait over an hour because their orders were forgotten. The ambiance outside is actually nice, but unfortunately the tables are very close together and some are wobbly. When we wanted to pay, we asked the waiter twice and finally went to the counter to pay because no one came. Given the hefty prices, we probably won't be going back again, which is a shame!

The dishes are very simple, it's a shame that you have to pay extra for the bread.

The way the customers were treated was very unprofessional – the waiter seemed aggressive and annoyed. If there is a shortage of staff, this should either be communicated clearly and politely, or, better yet, ensure that sufficient staffing is scheduled on a Saturday night.

The food is truly excellent. I had the truffle pasta, but other dishes were also incredibly delicious. However, one of the waiters was a bit annoyed. Two wines on the menu were out of stock. He couldn't recommend them, and he kept hopping around to the other tables. His colleague finally saved the day.

The establishment's employee did not allow a woman with a child into the toilet. Shame! Disgrace!

We had reserved for 8 people and still had to sit outside (!). It was really cold that day, and the heaters were broken. We weren't offered any alternative. When ordering, we pointed out three times that one of the dishes was supposed to be meatless. We waited almost an hour for our food, and the said meal arrived with meat, and all the dishes were cold. The food wasn't particularly tasty either. The "service" was unfortunately just as disappointing. After 45 minutes of waiting, I politely expressed my displeasure to the waitress about the outdoor table, about the fact that three dishes on the menu were out that evening, and about the broken heaters. She also asked when our food would arrive. She simply replied, "Well, what am I supposed to do now? What do you want from me? The food is coming soon." Not once were we asked if we wanted anything else to drink—let alone an apology or any kind of concession. Afterward, I emailed a member of staff who handles such matters. I described the disappointing evening – even then, no compensation was forthcoming, even though a waiter in the restaurant had promised it. Overall, a very, very disappointing evening – we and everyone around us will definitely never (!) return.

We had reservations for eight people and, despite the reservation, had to sit outside – even though it was freezing cold. The promised heaters didn't work, and no alternative was offered. We waited over an hour for our food, which arrived cold. Unfortunately, the taste wasn't convincing either. The service was equally disappointing – we weren't asked again if we'd like another drink, let alone offered an apology or any form of compensation for the numerous inconveniences. All in all, a very disappointing evening – we definitely won't be back.

Unfortunately a real let down and would not recommend. We visited at lunch time and the food was very underwhelming, pasta was overcooked, we ordered tagliatelle ragu but it was served with fusilli and the arrabbiata sauce was bland and watery. However the most off putting thing was the waitress, she was clearly unwell, constantly coughing and spluttering and should not have been allowed to be in contact with customers or food in that state.

We also didn't get the bread that other guests had, and an appetizer was forgotten. Nevertheless, the service was friendly, and the food that arrived tasted good. The food was great! I had reserved a table for two. When we couldn't find a place in the shade, we wanted to sit inside. We were then seated at the bar. The waiter was a bit stressed, so was the service and communication. We didn't want to eat that much so we only ordered an appetizer, which wasn't really desired.

Tables can be reserved online and are even "released" by the restaurant, but then they don't exist. You are greeted with "Well, you made a reservation at very short notice" (12 hours in advance), you now have to wait 30 minutes and can then take a seat at the bar. Sorry, you can't go for fine dining with corresponding prices and then give away places that don't exist. Luckily there is a “real” Italian restaurant around the corner (and not a hipster shop) that took us in.

The food was great, fresh and tasty. That's why we will come back. The individual waitress was friendly, but unfortunately very stressed because she had to serve the entire restaurant. At the end she also apologized for the long wait, but in this upscale atmosphere it's actually not okay to wait 20 to 30 minutes for a glass of water. That certainly affected the mood, especially since we were there on the occasion of a birthday. Overall, the visit was worth it.

We'd been wanting to go to this restaurant for a while, so we went there today with my sweetheart. The atmosphere is great, they make the pasta in front of you, there's a small sunny terrace, everything you need to have a good time. Unfortunately, we were disappointed afterwards: we waited 50 minutes for our dishes (a table of 7 was served before us, but they arrived easily 20 minutes after we ordered) and when the "truffle pasta" finally arrived, we didn't like it at all. The pasta was of good quality, but the plates weren't very copious, and above all, it was more butter pasta than truffle pasta. We also realized that the waitress had forgotten the beer I'd ordered over 10 minutes ago, but it was just as well, as we wanted to leave. When we went to pay, she apologized for forgetting the beer, but we had no explanation for the rest. I think this restaurant can be nice but we didn't have a chance on the waiting and the choice of the dish.

On a recommendation and by sheer luck, I ended up at Pasta Autentica by Jill after a long and rainy Sunday and snagged the last available spot. The staff is super friendly and accommodating, the homemade pasta and wine are a dream, and the atmosphere is very cozy!

Came here for the first time and it was very good. I go to Italy alot and i have to say the pasta’s are absolute amazing. They make it fresh and you can even see how they make it. The waiter and nonna’s were very friendly. We are gonna come back! Pasta truffle was very good! Also love the small portions of pasta since I am not a big eater.

A gem! Small, well-kept inside, Nonna cooks absolutely authentic pasta that was previously produced in the pasta kitchen. The name of the restaurant says it all here. The wine selection is also small and very fine. Tried it yesterday and here again today. Continued success 🍀.

We made a short-term reservation online. The reservation system suggests free places. On the way to dinner 5 minutes before the reserved time, then the cancellation by email - overbooked. 5 minutes later we arrived at the restaurant, lots of seats available, but no room for us. You were still offered a place online in +15 minutes. How can that be? If every online reservation has to be confirmed first, then the booking system is probably not that sophisticated.

So delicious, so friendly, so familiar. Definitely worth a visit, preferably with a reservation. We had tagliatelle with truffle and tagliatelle with wild boar ragu. Before that, we had bread with pesto. Absolutely excellent.

By chance, we ended up in this small, fine restaurant. We didn't make a reservation, there was a table available for 1.5 hours, and the friendly service staff from Italy happily let us sit down. Maria, also from Italy, cooked with her assistant. We could see openly into the kitchen. What came out there really excited us. Everything, and we mean everything, was homemade! Pesto, pasta, sauce, the heavenly dessert. The sage sauce in my dish was unusually tasty and left a lasting impression on me. Afterwards, the tiramisu was, so to speak, the homemade crowning glory. 👑 Vegetarians are also very welcome, my counterpart found a great dish for himself. We know we definitely have to eat there again.

Yesterday we enjoyed another very nice evening with delicious and very fresh food. When we visit Hamburg, this restaurant is always a must. The fresh pasta tastes simply heavenly and the composition of the dishes is a delight. Thank you. We'll be back.
