Great place in the park, an oasis of peace in the middle of the city.

Perfect for a coffee, cake, or a snack after a stroll in the Gleidreieck Park. Prices aren't cheap, but they're reasonable.

Food was okay. Operation a bit messed up. Ambience quite pleasant.

Very nice café right at Gleisdreieckpark. Super tasty food, cheap and good cocktails. Quite crowded when the weather is nice, but it's worth waiting for a free table outside, especially in spring to relax in the first sun.

Tell you to scan a QR code to get a coffee to take away. QR code does not work. Stand around, wait for a friendly waiter to say "oh, you can just order through me"...

Came in for a quick coffee to take away. The waitresses were incredibly rude. The way they speak to clients is shocking

Cafe well located in the park. Pleasant and nice. In the spring it must be really good to have a glass in terrace.

The hot chocolate is really bad and very expensive. The seating is not particularly comfortable. There are no armchairs or sofas. Sitting on the terrace in the park in summer could be nice

Such a special Place, which seems to have been an abandoned Trainsstation. Spacious, cozy with a nice View and all Comforts in place. It has a Midcentury Vibe. These days they have Christmas Menu with a Goose to go for 4 parties.

Very nice view in the evening with Christmas lights and light hot chocolate. Otherwise very quiet and well, because of the price, it can still be improved a little

After waiting 55 minutes, the gentleman came to say that it could take another 15-20 minutes. That was really too long of a wait for a simple panini and a bagel for us so we left. Too bad, nice location

The good Kreuzberger was replaced by a large brewery. There are only four points for this. Staff is very friendly!

Service was slow as hell. It was a busy sunday, so I expected a bit of wait, but it took too long even just to get check. Panini was delicious at least.

Used to be a great store. Unfortunately, since Mr. Müller sold it, it hasn't been the same. Swabian food has lost a lot of quality. Still ok for drinks and cake.

Was there at Toreins this Sunday and the waiters were very unfriendly! I ordered a carrot cake that were placed in the package to go upside down, who would place the frost of the cake in the bottom of the package? So annoying, the coffee was terrible made and it took 20 minutes for an order to go since was no one inside there :-/ horrible place , don’t go there !!!

Horrible service, got the wrong coffee. The cake was thrown upside down in the To-Go Box. Cake is mediocre. Never going back.

Great selection and great quality of the food. Very suitable for vegetarians. Friendly staff. Nice ambience. Very happy again.

A very good Restaurant with excellent scrambeld eggs and very good chicken the food came in like 5 minutes and its not too loud I very recommend it👌

Nice cafe in the park. However, the warm cuisine is of subterranean quality. Also no flexibility when it comes to changes to the menus.

I ate the spinach quiche it was very tasty and a good portion!! Fair prices and nice staff!

Great place well situated in the middle of Friedrichshain. Great staff !! Arianna and Ornella are great workers with good customer-care that deserve a lot more than being interrupted during my food-questioning… sadly this broke my interaction with the food seriousness of the restaurant and had to call them multiple times. Other than that I can only recommend their pizzas. Fast service and great quality. A bit on the expensive side in Berlin in that location. There’s also the possibility to have vegetarian alternatives. Communication should be at best, woman based service that need to be able to communicate without interference (being called back after 10secs by other staff members) would be the only point to get better! I’ll definitely come back !

Beautiful location and very friendly and attentive staff. The food was actually tasty, but the cream sauce was very lightly seasoned. I had a bit of a stomach ache after eating, although it could perhaps be due to the combination of beer and cream sauce. In the end, I'm not really convinced about the food, but otherwise everything is good so far. Toilets are very clean!

When every we've been there, it was awesome. Wonderful food, very polite staff and although it was often pretty full, the order was quickly realized. Wonderful big terrace :)

“Be nice” is written on the waiter's shirt, which the restaurant management probably gave him as a motivator, unfortunately in vain, visibly bored, unmotivated and not particularly friendly even though the place wasn't even 1/4 full. The location has huge potential but has obviously been taken over by Uber Eats drivers, which is a shame. I didn't eat anything so I gave it 5 stars

Unbelievably bad service and we understand now the 3.8 rating on google. one of the best locations in the park but they destroy it with the worst service ever. not only did we wait for over 20 min to get a bottle of water and wrong and missing lemonades, no the best was when the manager did not accept our feedback but started to argue with us! I would suggest to the owner to change staff and attitude if they want to survive or even maximize this wonderful potential.

A very nice place with fresh food and excellent cakes

Very nice and quiet location in the park. They understand coffee and, unlike some city hipster cafes, they served old-school farmer's breakfasts. So full points.

Unfriendly staff and exorbitantly high prices

Pleasant atmosphere, but unfortunately we paid €5.40 each for two really not so good pieces of cake (chocolate cake & carrot cake). :/

The food isn’t great and the people are very very rude

Overall, it's okay... the sofa is comfortable. If you go late, you won't be able to get the smoothie. You have to go on time.

Pleasant terrace with a view of the greenery, friendly service. Food: Well... The thinnest schnitzel of my life, about 2mm of meat, about 2mm of breading, dry. Has to get better.

The service is very friendly, the food is very tasty and very large portions. The apple juice tastes like it has been freshly squeezed. All in all, we are very satisfied and can recommend Toreins.

Nice place, nice views over the park. It’s a pity that the service is so bad, the prices ridiculous for such a simple menu, and the little understanding for customers they have. I asked for a glass of water with my coffee, and the waitress just added 3,75€ for a simple glass of water with ice cubes… I did not even see the bottle, who knows if that’s bottled water as she said! (Which by the way I had not asked for) They just think they can play around and betray tourists (or locals, as myself)

More than 20 minutes to warm a sandwich is non acceptable.

We haven't eaten there for a long time and finally made it back and were really looking forward to breakfast. But unfortunately we were disappointed. We were there at 10 a.m. and it wasn't full yet. Nevertheless, almost all tables were mixed up. The waiter seemed overwhelmed, frantically disinterested and was almost unfriendly. Unfortunately I didn't get the right breakfast. I got the Mediterranean omelet instead of the Milanese breakfast (should have made that clearer). Unfortunately the omelette was not seasoned at all. My companion had the farmer's breakfast, which was really good. Unfortunately, I never got the menu that I wanted to see again. We paid and wanted to take cake with us (which looked really delicious). After waiting at the counter for a while, we were rudely told that we had to get another table so we could get the cake. (Unfortunately there is no cake menu at the table) Since it was now very crowded, we decided not to. The ambience is really nice there. The furnishings are cozy but modern. The view of the park is great. The toilets are clean, but there was no toilet paper to be found in any of the toilets and we also looked in vain for paper towels.

I can't comment on the food there as we only got drinks. The homemade lemonade there is recommended. It's right next to the park, a good place to relax and have a snack. The prices of the food options match the location, but I personally think it's a bit overpriced. Drinking is recommended.

It is unfavorable. The person taking the orders seems to be distracted and when he returns the order is not complete. Then when he brings it, it is a small amount and it is still incomplete. The atmosphere is very nice but the service is very poor.

The place is nice with a good atmosphere. The service was slow and incomplete, one of the orders was left behind, we ordered it twice more and it arrived almost at the end. I give it only 3 stars overall.

We were here late afternoon after visiting Spectrum and were quite hungry. That's why it was pleasing that the order and its processing went quickly. Our special requests for the children were also fulfilled without any problems. We sat on the terrace overlooking the park, so quite nice. Food and drinks were delicious and still reasonably priced (€80 for 5 people).

Great spot for a quick coffee stop to bathe in the sun and enjoy the park. Service is a bit slow but overall the atmosphere is really nice and lively. Recommend since their terrace is quite spacious and the cafes windows open up to the outside.

The first, hot Saturday in Berlin. We took a leisurely hiking break here. Very nice. We'll definitely come back.

There is a large selection of good food. Everything we ate and drank was delicious. The service was extremely friendly and the whole atmosphere was casual. We had a nice view of the park from our table. If the weather is good you can also sit outside. The toilets were so clean as if they had just been built the day before.

We always like to come. Nice location, very courteous service and orders have always come quickly.

Food was great, staff was simply great

We were a large group (21 people) looking for a place to have lunch. Even though we had not made a reservation and we were in a hurry, we were allowed to take a seat. Fortunately it was very quiet. Our food and drinks were served quickly and it was very tasty! Very friendly staff. Highly recommended!

Food and services are just on the average. The location and the atmosphere are great. The terrace in front of the park is very enjoyable and relaxing. The internal area is very cozy and spacious. Just one star less for the food, they could do better.

Even though they say they are open, they are closed. Almost got robbed by a runner in the park.

The atmosphere is pleasant. They refused to serve me near the bar and told me to wait at a table, although I only ordered a drink. It is not comfortable. The drink was brought in a dirty glass, I asked to change it. They brought a new glass without apologizing. The impression of the place is spoiled.

4,50 € für eine lauwarme "heiße" Schokolade. Eher entäuschend.

You pay for the location and service but 1 chocomel is €4,50. Its not even warm, no cream and it tastes cheap with chunks of crumbs... meh...

I don't understand the reviews saying the service is bad. Great service! Food is a little expensive but it's understandable for the great location.

L'ambiance de ce café est très sympathique, nous y avons pris une salade avocado ainsi qu'un jus de raisin, une limonade à la mangue et pour finir une part de tarte. La limonade à la mange est mon coup de cœur, très équilibré dans les goûts et n'est pas trop sucré ! Pour ce qui est de la salade, le goût est au rendez-vous, dommage que l'avocat n'ai pas été plus mûre. L'ensemble reste cependant très bon. L'addition final ce monte à 48€, ce qui est un peu chère compte tenu de ce que nous avons pris.

Waited for our food for 50 minutes! It was just a falafel teller and chicken with rice, wasn’t worth such a long wait. If you are not able to provide food faster and have problems with many orders, why let people order in the first place? Never coming here again

Naja etwa zu teuer, das Essen war jedoch ok. Kellnern haben die von uns und von unseren Freunden bestellte Gerichte in Rechnungen vermischt.

Ich finde die Terrasse schön zum Verweilen in der Sonne und drinnen ist genug Platz, wenn es doch mal regnet und windet. Der Service und das Essen waren super. Preis-Leistung passt in meinen Augen :-) Wir kommen wieder.

Ich kann nicht meckern, sehr angenehme Atmosphäre, feine Speisekarte, humane Preise und zu alldem eine sehr nette und kompetente Bedienung... 👍👍😊

Eigentlich ist es ein sehr schönes Café, aber insgesamt ist die Atmosphäre sehr hektisch und unruhig. Die Lage ist sehr schön.

Really enjoyed it! It’s dog friendly and the service and food are both great. The menu has some nice traditional food on it all very well prepared and served. The cakes are also worth it!

Schnelle Bedienung, angemessene Preise für Kuchen und Getränke. Küchenqualität etwas nachgelassen. Trotzdem angenehme Atmosphäre.

Eine schöne Art eine Pause bei einer kleinen Fahrradtour ein zu legen. Im Sommer sitzt man auf der großen Terrasse mit Blick ins Grüne und auf die vielen Parkbesucher. Man wird- zumindest am Wochenende- platziert. Eine wieselflinke und umsichtige asiatische Kellnerin ist mir schon mehrfach positiv aufgefallen. Speisekarte ist übersichtlich aber lecker z. B. Schwäbische Pizza mit Schmand, Aprikosen und Gorgonzola. Preislich etwas gehoben, aber das ist es auch wert.

Für den Bezirk ungewöhnlich nette,und freundliche Bedienung, Esssen ist immer hervorragend.Und die Atmosphäre ist mit keiner anderen Location zu vergleichen iin einem der schönsten Parks die es in Berlin zur Zeit gibt..... Nettes Publikum wo sich gerne auch mal irgendwelche Promis hinsetzen..Und dabei noch sehr preiswert. Empfehlung..

Lovely spot for a nice sunny day with family and friends

Lage, Lage, Lage... ohne die schöne fast bühnenhafte Location mit weitem Blick in den Park würde ich nur drei Sterne vergeben. Überlasteter Service bei unseren Besuchen und die Lautstärke sind zwei der wenigen Nachteile des nett eingerichteten Ladens. Das Angebot ist gut, Preise sind ok. Kinder fühlen sich auch drinnen wohl oder man lässt sie einfach draußen rocken.

Man hat in Berlin gewisse hohe Erwartungen, und dann landet man hier. Essen ist mittelmäßig, fast langweilig... Ein nettes Personal würde helfen, aber nicht Mal das. Am besten dieser Laden überspringen, ist Kreuzberg Leute, die Konkurrenz ist groß und nah genug erwartet euch bestimmt was euer Zeit und Geld Wert!

Wow, I did not expect this quality of food in the park / museum cafe. The soup was just delicious. Well worth a try!

Super Location mit dem Blick ins Grüne. Gute und abwechslungsreiche Auswahl an Kuchen. Gut funktionierendes WLAN, um zu arbeiten und die frische Luft zu genießen. Gelegentlich überfordertes Personal. Trotzdem freundlich.

Nette Lage, aber essen ist leider nur OK (weil ich nett bin). Bedingung auch OK aber nicht wirklich freundlich und dauert lange … Wie eine Art Biergarten aber mit Bedienung … muss (möchte) nicht unbedingt wieder hin … kann es leider nicht wirklich weiterempfehlen deshalb leider Max 3 Sterne möglich!

Man sitzt schön am Park, der Außenbereich ist groß und sonnig. Es gibt Kleinigkeiten zu essen, die schmackhaft sind. An die Kreuzberger Preise muss ich mich noch gewöhnen, ich finde das alles zu teuer. Ist aber nicht teurer als in der Gegend überall. Dass ich fürs Klo aber 50 cent als konsumierender Gast zahlen sollte, fand ich dreist.
