We've been there several times now because it's the closest kebab shop on the way home, but we've regretted it every time. The first time, I had fries with tzatziki, which were very dry and not tasty. The kebab itself was mediocre. The service is incredibly unfriendly, and last time they tried to rip us off when we paid! Also, there was a customer in front of us who only spoke English – they gave him the wrong meat (he wanted chicken and got beef). To top off our terrible meal and service, we even saw a mouse run into the kitchen. So I'd rather go out of my way than eat there again!

Give this kebab to someone you can't stand, they will hate you for it.

Very poor quality doner kebab, dried-out meat, unsuitable sauces, generally not recommended.

After visiting the Christmas market in the city park, I thought it would be a good idea to fortify myself with a doner kebab for the rest of the evening. Well, I should have skipped it, as I immediately experienced extreme stomach pains and cramps after eating the doner. Unfortunately, the staff at the counter pressured me to order. Based on the way the person eating it looked, I should have left the place right then and there! The quality was absolutely nonexistent; only the falafel were, according to a friend, "okay." Please, just walk a little further down Venloer Street; any step that doesn't lead to this place is worth it. 🙏🏻

The service was so unfriendly. Apparently, you're not even allowed to think about what you want to eat here…

I've never seen such an unfriendly shop. They yell at you if you even briefly consider what you want to order (the shop was empty!). And it's overpriced.

I entered the restaurant with rather low expectations and was absolutely surprised! I've rarely eaten such a well-made kebab. The freshly baked flatbread (long) is crispy and not too thick. The veal is nicely crispy and well-seasoned, the garlic sauce is delicious, and the salad isn't too overpowering. In short: for €8.50, a very tasty kebab that can be eaten on site. I'd gladly return!

Too expensive for me. Döner 8.50, then he said another 4 euros. I said what, what, feta cheese 1 euro, okay, and 3 euros for a small can of Coke. I gave the Coke back. Too much.

I think this is the best kebab in Cologne so far! It's really basic, but that's what a kebab should be: delicious bread, three different sauces, and a crispy salad. Plus, friendly service, average prices, and a nice atmosphere :)

Worst falafel ever! Second time, terrible!

I've rarely eaten such a bad Dürüm doner. The chicken was so streaked with fat that it was inedible for me. The few green lettuce leaves and the overly soft dough completed the bad picture. Never again. It's a shame, because it used to be much better there.

I bought a kebab in your shop yesterday and was unfortunately very disappointed. The taste was bland and unappetizing. In addition, the portion was far too small, so I wasn't full. Price-performance ratio is DIFFERENT here. My taste buds have never been so pampered at any time of the day. Every time, whether after the club or chilling in the greenbelt (or any other scenario), you can rely on these guys - any time of year or year! INCREDIBLE catastrophe No lie, I threw up all night and I still feel bad. I didn't eat anything else that evening and after 3 beers it's unlikely I would. You saved a lot on meat with a box of salad for €7.50 and when you asked if you would get more than a spoonful of meat, they offered you 2 euros more. I wouldn't have taken anything better... because as I said, I was feeling very bad. I didn't eat anything else. NEVER AGAIN

Even in Turkey, we cannot find such good doner kebabs, their food is so delicious, everything they make is perfect. Their pizzas are great, felafel, lahmacun, their doner kebab is very good... You should definitely experience it. Their salads and sauces are always very fresh and nice, spotlessly clean. a place. The owner is a very friendly, hospitable person. It is a place that you will be very satisfied with and can be preferred again and again. Best doner ever👍🏻

Instead of the Turkish pizza I ordered, I received a kebab that was completely burnt on the outside. The bread was inedible so I ate the contents out with a fork. For maybe 100g of chicken kebab and 50g of cheese €7.50 is probably a good deal. Worst snack bar I've been to in Cologne so far.

It was my first time eating there and everything tasted really delicious. The bread was equally fresh and delicious. The fries special was really a change and highly recommended 👍🏽

Why French Fries Special are so celebrated here, where reviews are sometimes so celebrated, is a mystery to me. Fries were anything but crispy, even though there was nothing going on in the store. So it can't have anything to do with time pressure. The sauces are okay, but nothing special... Plus the 3 crumbs of spices.... Who thinks this is particularly great?

7 € Döner does not look big and there is very little meat in it! The staff is friendly.

Sauce and service is okay - but the meat is of extremely low quality. One of the first times I’ve actually had pieces of meat in the kebab I actually couldn’t eat (e.g. pure fat, not chewable). Would absolutely not go again. They should also mix the Döner a bit (sauce and vegetables was only ok top, meat only at the bottom)

Gut, günstig und ein wirklich sehr gutes Brot!

Leider einer der schlechtesten Döner, was ich gegessen habe. Es liegt halt auf der Venloer Str. direkt gegenüber vom Stadtgarten und die Atmosphäre ist sehr gut, viele Leute um sich herum, gute Laune, etc. aber was das Essen angeht ist es leider nicht lecker. Als Salat gab's nur Salat und Zwiebeln, keine Tomaten, Gurke, oder sonst was.

Sehr wenig Fleisch in das Sandwich

Die Location würde von mir eine 4/5 bekommen. Die Wartezeit ist sehr lang. Die Toiletten sind nicht suuper aber es ist in Ordnung. Die Pizza hat leider total lange gedauert und war geschmacklich auch nicht überzeugend. Das falafel-sandwich war eine unzureichende Mahlzeit. Nicht nur, dass keine Soße angeboten wurde, sondern auch die falafel war kalt. Trotzdem: für das, was es seien soll, ok. Freundlichkeit in Ordnung und Sitzmöglichkeiten auch ganz gut.

Der Laden war bisher immer top. Sonntag Abend habe ich mich schon beim Warten als einziger Gast das erste Mal etwas unwohl gefühlt. Zwei Stunden nach dem Essen (veg. türkische Pizza mit Falafel) haben unsere Bäuche stark rumort. Geschmeckt hat es leider auch nicht, waren wohl die Reste vom WE. Bis heute, 2 Tage später, hatten wir beide Magen/Darmprobleme und starke Bauchschmerzen. Die ursprünglichen Besitzer waren super nett und das Essen immer frisch. Leider ist dem nicht mehr so.

So ein unglaublich leckeres veganes Falaffel Sandwich! Und die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett 😊

Die neuen Besitzer sind zwar sehr freundlich, aber leider scheint irgendwas mit dem Essen nicht zu stimmen. Zweimal war ich da, beim ersten Mal habe ich den komisch schmeckenden Falafel aufgegessen und Durchfall bekommen, beim zweiten Mal hat der Humus total sauer geschmeckt, Falafel für die Mülltonne. Schade. Davor war der Laden immer mega.

They changed the staff and lowered the quality in 3 aspects: 1 least friendly, last year's staff were very cheerful and nice people 2 the taste, last year they were very tasty, this year the duruns only taste like mint. 3 the size, reduced its size and 20% ps: as if that wasn't enough, increase the price.

Hier gibt's wirklich leckeren Döner. Das Personal war auch sehr freundlich. War rundum einfach alles prima. Sehr zu empfehlen. 👍🏼

Terrible place, even after drinks and starving… the meat is really poor quality and the salad tastes strong due to the poor quality onion. In Germany you will enjoy amazing kebabs, this one is unacceptable.

Sehr leckerer Döner! Würde ihn als überdurchschnittlich gut bewerten. Das Brot war sehr knusprig, die Soßen (Knoblauch&scharf) sehr lecker. Fleisch war ebenfalls sehr gut gewürzt. Zudem war das Personal sehr freundlich und sehr lustig. Hat meinen Tag auf jeden Fall aufgewertet. Vielen Dank :)

Die türkische Pizza mit Salat kostet genau soviel wie eine Dönertasche. Was für mich indirekt heißt, dass das Fleisch nicht gut sein kann; das am Rande. Die türkische Pizza war ok, aber Luft nach oben gibt es auf jeden Fall.

Unfreundlich, sehr langsam und der Döner ist echt schlecht belegt, Gemüse ist quasi nur im oberen Drittel und der Rest besteht aus Brot und Fleisch.

Fand das Fleisch etwas komisch, habe ich so noch nicht erlebt.

Leider sehr unfreundlich. Das Essen war auch mittelmäßig und ganz ehrlich ich bin immer respektvoll im Umgang mit meinen Mitmenschen. Ich zahle äußerst ungern Geld, um mich in meiner Freizeit für durchschnittliche Pommes anschreien zu lassen. Super schade. Das ist für mich nicht nur mangelnder bis unterdurchschnittlich schlechter Kundenservice, sonder einfach zwischenmenschlich auch eine Frechheit. Bin neu in die Umgebung gezogen und das bleibt als erster Eindruck von diesem Dönerimbiss. Auch die Tatsache, dass ich so umfangreiche Bewertungen schreibe, ist äußerst selten, aber an dieser Stelle muss ich bei so einer (mir unerklärlichen) Respektlosigkeit von meiner Stimme Gebrauch machen. Das geht auch anders. Für mich war es das erste und definitiv letzte Mal. Ich zahle nicht nur für das Essen, sondern auch für den Service.
