Overall, a great shop and great for brunch. But the Espresso Martini is extremely missing from the menu. That's why unfortunately only 4 stars...

The good impression of the delicious food (4 stars) in a beautiful location (4 stars) was unfortunately marred by the surprisingly slow and inattentive service - you saw a lot of service staff for relatively few guests

Best Brunch in Town - that's how the Park Café advertises itself, with a reference to an election/vote from a few years ago. I can also support the election back then in 2024. If you're looking for a special brunch, this is definitely the place for you. As is often the case in the catering industry, prices have risen sharply. So you should definitely be hungry...

Jazz brunch without jazz. Food and selection was really good. Various hot dishes including pasta from the Cheese Wheel. However, the brochure advertised live music, which was not available. It's a shame about the flaw.

Had dinner this evening and it was a pleasant atmosphere. The staff and boss were very friendly and loved children. Definitely going back next time.

Great breakfast buffet with everything your heart desires. Unfortunately we waited a bit long for our drinks and had to ask more often - hence a star deduction.

We were there for brunch on Sunday. It is very loud there and the service is sometimes overwhelmed. The food is really delicious and there is a large selection. Unfortunately, it is also very expensive.

The location is great, the beer is great, the food is ok, the service is awful. When we asked the young female waitress about traditional Bavarian red cabbage (if they have any on the menu) she tried to intimidate us and asked why we believed it was a Bavarian specialty. When we answered that we had lived here before she said that she didn’t know, they don’t have it, etc. To avoid any miscommunication we showed her the picture of the dish and the German name for the dish marked by Google as a Bavarian specialty. After that, she tried to blame us as being disrespectful to her while in fact she was disrespectful to us and to the great Bavarian cuisine. It’s a shame that the service standards and traditions are going down so fast.

We were invited to Sunday brunch. The selection was gigantic, seasonal, fresh, creative and above all sophisticated and delicious. The service had a bit of a problem getting started, so you had to be a little patient for drinks. But he almost made up for it with his kindness. The location is quite large, which made it very loud when all the guests were there. A bit of beehive vibes. If you are looking for a good, delicious brunch in Munich, you can find it here without hesitation.

Were here twice yesterday for Sunday brunch. The price is really appropriate for the quality and we really enjoy coming here. BUT yesterday we had a waiter (quite young and awkward) who unfortunately ruined the experience. Couldn't remember orders, forgot what we had already ordered and didn't ask once if we needed anything else. It's a shame because the service MUST be good for the price. But we'll still be back because, as I said, the food is really good.

Great place to stay at the English Garden. The restaurant and the beer garden offer a typical Bavarian bourgeois atmosphere. The prices are acceptable and the conditions are consistently very pleasant. Clearly recommended! Thanks Vincent!

I would love to give 5 stars for the ambiance entertainment food and drinks. But it is 2 stars because of the services. The staff is friendly but slow, they miss overview and control of their work. I have visited this place serval times and the waiters have always disappoint me. Yesterday reached my limit. The guy throw my fries over the table and promised new ones. This never happened. later I ordered a whiskey sour, it took 40 minutes and the drink came after the bill. This was very bad! I would like to advise to better train your stuff on hospitality skills. If the service was good this place will deserve 5 stars and has potential to become one of the best cafes in the city of Munich!

Food at the self-service area was OK, really OK. Sausage salad 👍 Fresh pretzel, I even took one with me for later 🫣 But tables could definitely be cleaner, there were broken glass on the beer bench. Not nice. Until you get to the beer garden, you walk through the park. What's lurking around on the meadow is not pleasant, even if the police had major operations twice in the 2 hours I was there. It's a shame that locations like this are going to the... #Fake Refugees.

Nice serving, nice place on the terrace, but the food was not the best - too salty. Maybe some will like but I certainly won't come back there

Had the vegan burger. Unfortunately, the patty arrived half disintegrated, so it was very difficult to eat. The plate that came with it was far too small, which made the whole thing even more difficult to eat. The burger itself was okay, I had a homemade iced tea/lemonade with it, which was also okay. The menu is huge and has everything from burgers, Asian, home cooking and Indian etc….

Centrally located modernist coffee hause which by now lost its charm. The waitresses ignored us for long intervals. The menu is full of burgers, limited vegetarian options. The crème brûlée was ancient.

We were there in the evening and sat indoors. Nice facility. I had a huge schnitzel. The meat was good, but the fries were totally limp and barely edible. Very large and colorful menu. Unfortunately, the service was inattentive, even though it wasn't very full (glasses remained empty for a long time; there was a long wait until we could pay) and sometimes unfriendly ("Hey, I just asked" when you were told that you would like to order something ).

The good; quick and friendly service amd beautiful ambiance. The bad: like most restaurant / Bars incredibly loud despite only being half full. Other than that, I highly recommend Pak-Café

Nice beer garden in a central location. Food and drinks were average but by no means bad.

We ate at this restaurant at 1am and they were still serving pizza. Top atmosphere with a DJ, fast service and warm welcome I recommend The pizzas are a good size and very good.

Nice inside and out, the food was very good, plentiful and expensive - especially the drinks (the half between €5.20 and €5.70!) - the juice spritzers "taste" mainly like water - the service was more bad than good, the Menu confusing. For eating, I recommend the restaurant, not the beer garden, although the kitchen was better and it gets very loud in the large dining room in the evening with many guests. The beer garden is self-service. There I paid €20.90 for a Radlermass and currywurst with fries (nothing special in terms of taste).

A somewhat “cool” beer garden in the heart of Munich. Unfortunately the park creates a questionable atmosphere. We were in the self-service area. Prices for the middle of Munich are not cheap. One measure 10 euros.

The food was a little bit salty for my taste. The ambience was nice and casual. Service was not that great, though. The main bar looks quite interesting. It was a very busy place, and quite noisy, too.

A smooth A+... Café, pizzeria, diner and beer garden in one... Tasteful, modern ambience invites you to linger and feel good... Spontaneously managed to get a seat for four despite the high frequency... The staff is friendly, helpful and... very quickly. All wishes were quickly implemented... The food is very tasty and definitely shows the individuality of this location... It was a pleasure and we would like to come back...

We more or less stumbled into this. We had really amazingly fast service, good food (albeit modern, but still Bavarian) and enjoyable drinks here. The standard is maintained here, we were last here 7 years ago and it is still good.

The atmosphere is good. The food is edible to make Germany. But the service is average and the waiter also asked for a tip even though some of us had already given him (we paid separately) and he asked again when the rest did not want to give. He even seemed upset. They can do without experience.

Decent food but nothing more. We ordered Munich specialties. They took a long time to serve us. There are better places to eat. The pleasant atmosphere given that it is a nice park. When paying, the waiter FORCED us to leave a tip, despite having explained to him that we know that in Germany it is not common and much less mandatory.

Visited this beer garden again for a long time. We were in the served area and unfortunately I have to say that I have never had such a bad meal. The summer rolls were inedible. It's probably been left for too long, something like this can't go on sale anymore.

Top location for groups/events. Service very attentive and friendly, wonderful! Food could use more flavor, but that's a matter of opinion. On the whole everything is good.

It was better, the burger was rather average, fries were lukewarm and dipped in fat, I had to wave to the waiter to order more drinks, and I sat for 15 minutes without the plates being cleaned up.

I was a regular at the Park Café for many years, but things have deteriorated significantly. That's why I try to avoid going there and have only been back because friends met there and didn't like it either. What has gotten worse? 1. The incredibly rude usher (man, mid-50s, shaved head, cigarette): he generally treats guests very badly and also seems to enjoy it. Several other reviewers have also reported it as unpleasant. 2. The food: The quality of the food has decreased significantly. It's not really bad, but just average and random. 3. The environment: The old botanical garden is the hotspot in Munich with the highest crime rate (drug scene, robberies, sexual crimes). It is unbelievable that the authorities and the police cannot get this under control. The Park Café is not to blame for this, but the walk home from the Park Café is very unpleasant and dangerous. These three points are really a shame; because the location could actually be fantastic. Maybe if the ushers are removed, the food is improved again and the security situation is brought under control, things will go back to the way they used to be.

When I travel by train three times a year, I always like to stop by for two beers to pass the time until the next train. Today I was rudely turned away when I arrived in the pouring rain because I hadn't made a reservation. Half of the room wasn't occupied by guests and as a single person I would have simply sat at the counter or in a corner for half an hour, but the unfriendly waitress apparently didn't like that, so I was sent out into the pouring rain . Rarely have I experienced something so bold. I'll never go here again in the future.

I have no idea, has the owner changed or the service team? Can't understand the positive reviews. I was sitting outside today with a beer and it started to rain. The umbrellas had just been closed 10 minutes ago and have not been reopened. When I went to sit inside with my beer, I was told I wasn't allowed to sit inside?! Are you serious?! I order a beer from Rein and then have to drink it outside in the rain?! I come from Hamburg and am only here for a stopover, but hospitality is different for us!! A nice group of Swiss boys welcomed me to their covered table outside.

Food wasn't quite warmed up, and unfortunately service is substandard. Service goes both ways, I hope they understand that they are being served by other people and that they don't wish the same to them.

The beer garden is in a great location and very cozy. Its location between the main train station and Stachus makes it ideal for relaxing. Just take a break.

The waiter in the served area obviously didn't feel like selling anything. After assigning us a seat, he ignored us even though he had nothing to do. After 15 minutes we left without consuming anything.

das Personal ist immer superfreundlich und der Garten ist wunderbar. Man sollte beim Essen auf Exotisches aber verzichten. Empfehlenswert ist immer der Leberkäs und der Obatzte.

We loved the outdoor setting. The food was really good too. Just watch your bill. When ours came, mysteriously there were extra charges when we were told the meal came with those items!!!

The food was great but was antagonised by poor service. Every step was a battle from being seated to paying. It was annoying that at checkout the desired value of the tip was not asked for but was added to the bill without consultation. This in addition to the poor service makes me not want to go through this experience again.

Everything was excellent - the cuisine, the atmosphere and the location, BUT there was something that spoiled my impression of Munich. German is not my native language and I understand that I speak with an accent. Their waitress Aleksa and the administrator discussed me and my terrible accent, which I greatly disliked. I think that in such a multicultural country there should not be such disrespect for nationalities. My German is not so bad that it should be discussed in such a tone. Please take note of this. I would take this into account if someone without an accent said it, but unfortunately your admin (or wasn't she, a 40-something woman with light hair) can't brag about it.

If you want to have breakfast in a nice place, with good local beer, you have to come here. The menu is not extensive, everyone will find something for themselves.

The food tasted good but the portions were very small. The service wasn't unfriendly but overwhelmed. It took a very, very long time to get the food and it wasn't at 50% capacity.

Had an ok experience here. Watermelon and Strawberry Limoncello Spritz were nice but the crème brûlée was really bad. Lumpy in texture and eggy in taste, and the layer of caramelized sugar wasn't at all crisp but soggy instead. It's a nice place to sit outside during summer to enjoy drinks but judging from their crème brûlée, I wouldn't want to eat here. It took quite a while from when we sat down till we were offered menus and our order was taken. To be fair, it's a big space managed by a few waiters but it didn't seem to be a busy time when we visited.

This was a fantastic restaurant and beer garden. Perfectly situated, beautiful interior decor, great outdoor seating and a fresh menu with a lot of variety. Waiter was awesome, food was great and of course the beer was on point. If you are visiting Germany and getting tired of seeing the same menu items everywhere you go-- go here.

Nice food and good location but service is very unprofessional. We came for breakfast - received breakfast menu - tried to make an order for 30min - then waiter came and said it was too late for breakfast and lunch food was not yet available either lol. So we had to wait another 30min until we could make lunch order

Unfortunately not what I expected. I went to the Park Café again for a quick bite to eat, unfortunately it wasn't what I expected or ordered. Surprisingly, I saw a Pad Kra Pao on the menu and ordered it straight away. Thai basil only as a garnish, nothing with pad (fried), rice unfortunately basmati no jasmine, no spiciness as no chili is used, just pepperoni and unfortunately very oily. Sorry, it's time for the trainee (Thai) to come back to the kitchen. Beer was tasty

Beautiful, inner-city beer garden! And you can't hear or see the street. For esoterics: This place has good karma. Outside. Maybe because it was once the Botanical Garden of Munich, where many beautiful, not necessarily native trees were planted. The building, the Neptune Fountain, the art pavilion come from our darkest history. Nevertheless, I have liked the Parkcafé and the park area for 50 years.

I have always enjoyed being a guest at the Parkcafe. The way there is now turning out to be very unpleasant. The adjacent public park (Old Botanical Garden) is full of groups of men urinating everywhere. There is also a smell of urine on Sophienstrasse, which runs past the park. Sunday I sat in the garden. I felt very disturbed by the gathering of these groups, as you could clearly hear their shouting and loud conversations. I also saw women walking through the park being harassed.

Food cold and salty Staff very unfriendly despite tips. Overwhelmed and understaffed, a shame for this great location.

As a beer garden lover, a nice, not too big, very central beer garden. Not a particularly large selection of drinks and food, but as I said, as long as there's tree shade and fresh beer, I'm fine.

If only they had still water in the bier garden, we could have stayed much longer.
