A great restaurant in terms of ambience and very tasty food 😋. The service was also super nice and attentive. We'd love to come back when we're back in Munich. It's very quaint in a small backyard.

After a long day of walking in the sun, Opatija Easy im Tal was the perfect spot to unwind. The Radler was refreshing, and the chicken burger was probably the best I’ve ever had. It was a great way to end the day, and I highly recommend it!

Large selection of dishes, the Cevapcici come in 4 to 8 pieces and taste very good. Very friendly staff.

Unfortunately you can't give 0 stars. Calling these sausages Cevapcici is cheeky! And then they're raw too. Rice is overcooked and only consists of paprika powder!!! Sry but that has nothing to do with Balkan food! How this store can have 4.4 stars is a mystery to me! Service is ok and then even offered him a cappucino or schnapps as an “apology”….still…never again

Food is pretty good for the price but be careful... We approached the counter to pay since we waited for a while and the waiter did not come. Then at the counter the waiter arrived he issued the bill which he did not show us, told us the amount to pay, we payed and only afterwards gave us the corresponding bills. Unfortunately he had already charged for the tips without our consent. Be careful... Always check the bills before paying they cannot be trusted...

A top address in Munich for fair money, top service, very attentive, friendly and fast. Food very good and of course the best beer in the world and that in a wooden barrel, there is nothing better!!! I don't have to say anything about the ambience, it's just a dream and above all clean, I'm 56 years old and have seen a lot in the world but something like that is very, very rare. I'll definitely come back to everyone who wants to send us greetings from Vietnam

I found this place while strolling the München center. It looked good so I chose to eat dinner there. I had a beer and the daily recommended dish which consisted of grilled pork with creamy mushroom sauce and some kind of pasta with cheese. The atmosphere was nice and chill, on the side tables. The waiters were also nice and helpful with me because I didn't know german. The price of the plate was 15,8€ bit it was cheaper at lunch (11,8€). However, the food was good and the plate was big enough for dinner. The beer cost 4,5€ for 0,5L, so it was quite good also. Definitely recommend if you are nearby, not that busy or noisy and near the city center.

A very nice, modern and extremely friendly restaurant. You immediately feel welcome and are escorted to the table. The food is excellent and the price-performance ratio is more than fair. The owners are very friendly and ask personally whether the food was tasty. Gladly again.

Great Croatian restaurant in Munich. Food prepared with care. Pleasant environment.

The food was okay, not very delicious, but the reason I am writing this review is because the customer service was horrendous. Our waiter ignored us when we tried to order approximately 10 times, while bringing other people their food even if we said excuse me or raised a hand to show her we want to order. When she finally came I tried to ask politely about the salad but stopped for 2 seconds to think of the word I was gonna use next and she interrupted me twice saying she knows english mocking me. Then she went on to ignore us for more time until we left. The bartender got our drink order when we sat down and 30 minutes later when the waitress was ignoring us, we tried to ask him for a drink and he just said:"No" and went on to another table bringing beer there because all of a sudden he does not get drink orders which is fine but he said it super condescending and did not refer the waitress to us. All in all, the food is okay, the TVs playing the football match made it a great place, but the service just killed our whole mood to watch and we left, do not recommend it. Oh, and now when I am already at my home country i see that the restaurant has billed me twice for this dinner :))) When i paid by card the waiter angrily told me i have taken too long and have to do it again now like i am slowing his whole word down and i did not even check then because I was so confused and frustrated by this whole service that just now i am seeing they charged me twice 60 euro for this horrible experience.

**The institution is shaking** Something has noticeably happened since the two restaurants were taken over by two couples. As a regular guest for years, it's difficult for me to write a review like this, but it has to be done. Why? Because no one on site was interested. Within two days of being there with friends and family, inedible food was served that should never have been sent through the kitchen in the first place. Mistakes can happen, but such defects in quality cannot occur in such a short time. Instead of sending the boss, who was in a good mood chatting with guests outdoors, a team leader was sent to our table to record our complaint. That's it! Attention, I'm specifically talking about the restaurant in the valley here. There is a lot of room for improvement here. Please pay attention not only to the televisions, but also to the quality of the food.

I have been having lunch here in the center of Munich, a place that should give 5 stars for its good food, welcoming and great work of its waiters, which is diminished by one of its waitresses, of short stature with short hair, giving me a despicable, haughty and arrogant!! I am the one in the green Betis shirt who has been having lunch this afternoon (Saturday 07-06-2024) and it seems perfect to me that you don't speak Spanish, since you are right, we are in Germany, but there is no justification in the despicable way that you have treated me!! But for my part, I always go with a smile to the places, appreciating the work of others and in no case have I disrespected that treatment, since I have difficulties with the language, since it is my first time in Germany. for tourism reasons!! I don't think learning a language is such a simple thing to treat someone with contempt!! I remind you that you work for the hospitality industry, a divine job that is associated with correct treatment of the public!! Excluding her, for the rest, everything is great and 5 stars, congratulations to the rest, but I'm only going to give you 2 stars so that you can learn from such an unpleasant waitress, who if she doesn't like people, let her dedicate herself to something else

There was probably a change of tenant and with it a change in quality. Opatija was our local restaurant for decades. The partly new staff fits the new image. The quality of the food has become so poor that it was our last visit. I'm not sensitive, but my bites ended up in my napkin after just a few seconds in my mouth. Everyone wants to make the maximum profit, but before that it was possible to do it with top quality without taking the guests' last shirt off.

No AC and no fans, it’s basically a sauna in the summer …

A good place to eat in Munich, very close to Marienplatz. Good food, with some typical Croatian dishes. The terrace was full so we had to sit inside. Bad air conditioning, it was hot.

How did this place manage to have a rating so high? Pretending to serve serbian food....guys I can guarantee that the chef nor the staff have no clue about the serbian food, your plyeskavica has nothing in common with the original recipe. Furthermore, the old skinny lady waiter, who might olso be the owner, should be locked up in a mental illnesses hospital. I have never in my life seen such behaviour towards customers.

In general everything fits well. The food was delicious. Just be careful, the side dishes are charged separately for the dishes on the right. We assumed there was a supplement included. This is what it says on the map below. A small burger without a side dish costs €15.90. Cordon Bleu costs €16.90 without a side dish. Sry but that's just too expensive.

We stayed at the Opatija Easy in the valley a few days ago and were unfortunately disappointed. The service left a lot to be desired, the lady was very rude, so we didn't give a tip. The white sausage breakfast was okay, the sausage was tasty, but the pretzels were terrible. Overall not a positive experience.

I had dinner twice, I liked everything, only the rice was spicy for me, take note.

Tasteless and expensive food for such (poor) quality, anyone who has tried barbecue would be horrified to compare this. The meat had no taste, and the ham was overcooked and poorly prepared. If you're looking for good barbecue, skip this place.

I'm coming today at 7:10 p.m. so that I can order warm food before the kitchen closes at 8 p.m.... I'm really hungry... I sit for 22 minutes and nothing happens... 3 waiters walk back and forth, talking behind the counter ..no drink.....I'm not even noticed...I don't even respond to my wave that I want to order something....just empty looks...I used to go there often with friends.... but 22 minutes and not even a "Hello...what can it be..."" apparently they are already full and earn too well here that service to the customer is no longer of interest.. that's why they'd better close at 6 p.m., no guest bothered the waiters!!!.that will be the last time for a long time...sad how quickly a restaurant can cancel...

Excellent typical food of the city

Just great! We were here again today and are completely thrilled! The waitresses are world class and know how to get the job done with joy and fun! Thank you very much for that! The food, we had the large Opatija platter, was great! We say, thank you very much and are already looking forward to the next time!

The beer and the food were OK. The ambience and service was also good.

In einem Lokal namens Opatija, in dem ich Cevapcici und Pljeskavica essen kann, erwarte ich eher kroatische statr bayeische Musik. Damit, dass es kein kroatisches Bier gab (zumindest glaube ich, keines gesehen zu haben), kann ich leben, da es in München ist. Das Essen war gut, Service angenehm.

They charged us before giving us the bill!!!!!! Unbelievable!!! The waiter was telling me that he was charging me 5% extra tip and it turned out it was 10%. I live here in Munich so I know how it works with tips…it was very unpleasant and rude. I’ll look for a new place now because of this.

Es war ein schöner Besuch. Das Essen war gut und lecker. Schönes Ambiente und ist gut mit den öffentlichen Verkehr erreichbar.

When we visited Opatija, we were offered free choice of seating. The restaurant looks tidy with matching wooden furnishings. The beer garden is small and has a certain charm. The service was very courteous and friendly and the processes were well organized. The beer was always properly poured and freshly tapped. Be careful for lovers of vegetarian cuisine. The restaurant mainly serves excellent meat dishes with a Croatian twist. The vegetarian Maultaschen with grilled vegetables were fried to perfection. The grilled vegetables could have had a slightly more intense marinade. The Maultachen deserved a lot more taste. About the meat: The Dalmatian ham was excellent and freshly sliced. There were also pickled olives and a pickled cheese typical of the region. Excellent as a dessert platter on warm summer evenings.

Before this review, I want to say that I am a person who can eat literally anything and most of the time I like almost everything though We were there yesterday and had cevapcici and salad with chicken Cevapcici were so bad, my husband and I only tried it and couldn't even finish a single cevapcic, just disgusting. My salad had no dressing at all, only sweet chili and cranberries as a dip on the plate, which actually doesn't make any sense (it never goes well with salad) And we had an extra portion of fried potatoes and they felt like they had been sitting for a long time and had absorbed a lot of oil. YES ! They managed to make FRIED POTATOES bad 🙂‍↔️ Just chicken was okay AND DESPITE a fuller plate back from cevapcici that only a dog can eat, we paid full price and prices are too expensive. We were definitely there for the first and last time.

Good service, but the chicken and pork seemed undercooked, and the cevapi were really dry. They do have a lot of other options but it was not a good experience for us.

I just like Opatija, honest shop in the heart of Munich! Also nice for watching sports! 🌞

A place I stopped by on the way from Munich to Hallstatt, Austria. The natural scenery in front of the lake was beautiful, the food was really delicious, and the staff service was excellent.

Had lunch here. Ordered a Dunkel to go with my Pork skewer with rice. Pork cubes and liver on the skewer. Taste is average but the sauce is way too salty for me. Service is good. Be careful if you want to walk into the restaurant. The elevated railing mounted at doorway tripped me twice. The guy beside the bar counter just shook his head. Thought Germans are big on work safety. Bit disappointed with his reaction. Nothing to do with the meal or service.

Tasty, nice and fast service, but when a mouse came dancing in the dining area it was all over.

DO NOT VISIT IF A BRITISH TOURIST. I can not understand why there are so many positive reviews. The staff are very unfriendly and do not want you there. You can scan for an English version of the menu but the dismissive attitude when you try to order is disgusting. The food was canteen quality but came quickly, thank God - so we could leave!

One of my favorite restaurants in Munich. I had Turkey schnitzel along with grilled vegetables, the portion is very good, taste is great as well. - Staff was friendly and the food comes in a timely manner. - the only bad point is the noise, the restaurants music is loud, accordingly everyone had to shout to hear, so it became a circus.

I was there in the morning with a few friends to eat white sausage. Service was very friendly. The white sausage came fresh from the kettle and was very good. I can only recommend. It was a good atmosphere. Come back.

Not a bad place per se, but there are a few points to note: We reserved a table for 6 people weeks in advance, but then we got a shared table for 3 people each right at the entrance, which is constantly noticed negatively by the open doors with drafts. You should be especially careful when paying, as if there are more than one person you will be charged twice. Be sure to have the beer mat filled out!!!

I had Kaiserschmarrn. Was one of the worst I've ever eaten. Warmed up and hard. Felt like a stone in my stomach. Although I left it after three bites.

Very nice place, good food, good beer from Munich, reasonable prices. Problem was that the waiter didn't speak english, and when paying with the card, we were not able to see the amount on the card reading machine, and it was a contactless payment, which the waiter held the card himself and passed on the reader. Fortunately, the amount was correct, but we double checked with the bank. Not the best way to handle customer payments.

Shocked at first because the restaurant at Viktualienmarkt is closed, but the (short) journey was worth it. Excellent snacks (chicken wings with wonderful fries) at a really great price. I was really hungry and still got full easily. Update: Was here again in March 2024 and was very disappointed. The food is nowhere near as good as it was in 2021. The Djuvec rice is bland, as are the fries. Portions have shrunk enormously, quite the opposite to the price. It exploded. It's a shame, but I won't be coming back.

Delicious food compared to other Bavarian restaurants

As we arrived, the waitress was outside looking at us as she was bored. I asked if we could go inside with our stroke, she barely unswered "yes". Luckily there was another asian waiter who was really friendly and kind, he placed us to a children friendly table (there were mostly stand tables) and he served us very quickly. He was very helpful at all. Food was good, not something extraordinary but good. Tha restaurant is near Marienplatz easy to find by foot.

Really low food quality. The beer IS the only thing you can normally enjoy, the food IS terrible and so expensive. Cheese bacon burger and this comes without french fries neither other additional extra, just single burguer by 16€.. home made burguer i would say to be much better... other side the veggetarian food is really poor, no tasty and expensive price. Veggetable balls by other 16€.. waitress is very rude and unpolite. Danke :)

I'm a little disappointed. You go out for a Croatian meal and then it was converted into a Bavarian restaurant. The music was way too loud and you had to shout at each other. It was actually one of my favorite bars. It would be nice if it could be changed a bit.

OK, in the region it probably is. Standard that the glass of beer is filled without paying attention to the calibration mark. The fact that dishes are cleared away when others at the table are still eating is not a unique selling point, but it doesn't make it any better either. Paying €19.00 for a burger with, among other things, 2 shrimps, carelessly draped on the plate - without any side dish - is the pinnacle. The card reader is then held out to you without you even seeing the bill.

I have known this restaurant since I was a teenager. Unfortunately the quality of the food has deteriorated. It has become more of a tourist resort. Unfortunately, the coziness of back then no longer exists. The staff was nice nonetheless.

We like Croatian cuisine from the grill - that's exactly what we have here and it's delicious too. It seems to be well known and popular, with lots of visitors from all walks of life. Service very friendly. Food was good and served warm, pleasant portion size - you feel full but not full. The Plavac (Croatian red wine) was also pleasingly good. Music system unfavorably set, strong resonances in the bass range - less would be better here :) We will be back!

You used to be able to eat quite well here. The portions were large and the prices were more than reasonable. At some point the quality became so poor that even the low price could no longer justify a visit. Now that the restaurant has been sold, I wanted to give it another chance. The quality has tended to get even worse. The crispy turkey schnitzel was laced with tendons and inedible, the mushy fries were almost cold and the tartar sauce was no longer fresh. However, the prices were increased massively. Almost €20 for a naked schnitzel (French fries have to be paid extra €5) and €1.80 for extra tartar sauce (which you should avoid) have no basis whatsoever, even in Munich. I've eaten badly in Munich, but I've never had such a bad culinary experience before.

I recently dined at this restaurant and I must say, it was a good experience. The dish of the day, a hearty serving of chicken with pasta, was absolutely delicious. To complement the meal, they offered a selection of good beers that paired wonderfully.

A great restaurant in the heart of Munich. The ambience, staff and especially the landlord are simply great. If you are in Munich, you should definitely stop by here. There are also Augustiner on tap and white sausages from the copper pot. There is also live music several times a week in the evenings.

Portions have become smaller, prices have increased by 80%...quality has also become worse. A sad development!!

After there was a change of ownership, we were hoping that something would have changed in the kitchen too. Unfortunately none. The food is still just as disgusting as before. Pork in a small stuffed dish cheapest quality. The crispy schnitzel full of nerves and sinews. The fries were soggy and the remulade on the edge of the jar was already dried out. The only thing that has changed here is the prices, and they have increased. If you order a crispy schnitzel and have fries and a small salad as a side dish, it costs a whopping €30! The three of us paid €75 for lunch and ate like pigs. I'm curious how long this will last.

Muy lindo lugar en el centro de Múnich, un interior muy agradable y atención cordial. Pedimos el plato del día que era un cerdo con salsa de crema y cebolla crocante, acompañado de spaetzle. Excelente por 11,70 €, precio accesible. Notamos que las bebidas son muy caras en Alemania, en este lugar una cerveza chica de 0,25 tenía un pr vio de 3,10 €. Muy burns relación precio / calidad. Lovely Bavarian restaurant with varied menu. Service was perhaps bit below par but food maked up for it.

This restaurant has hardly anything to do with Croatia. The waiter, atmosphere and music were unfortunately poor but there are good ones 🍔 (hamburgers)

If you're looking for a quiet dinner by candlelight, go straight on... BUT if you're looking for a place with a great atmosphere and a good price-performance ratio (rare in Munich), you've definitely come to the right place! I went to Opatija on a recommendation, it was very busy, the dishes were very good (and plentiful). Salad was fresh and easy to look at... and the Kaiserschmarren was a hit! There is often live music, a great atmosphere and the hosts and staff are very friendly. …until boid & have the honor!

Normal food, not very expensive for Germany. But €5.6 for a 0.5L bottle of water… I thought it was illegal to sell water more expensive than beer. I tried the currywurst and well... well, what can you ask for from this dish, which is not much. I recommend ordering the cheapest because it's delicious, I don't think it's anything to eat.

Nice little Augustinian inn. Comfortably furnished. Of course good beer. Also ideal for sports broadcasts as there is a lot of TV.

Price performance top very friendly staff A small oasis for the inner city where there is always something to talk about. Both owners are very accommodating and always have an open ear for their guests.
