Four of us were here last night and had a wonderful, relaxing evening. The food was very varied and also very tasty. The entire service team was extremely attentive and friendly, and we felt very comfortable as guests. Thanks for the hospitality! We'd love to come back, great restaurant!

Yesterday we were taken on a wonderful journey. The staff was very friendly, accommodating and served us attentively. The meat was incredibly tender, every flavor hit just the right level. Parissa’s has the best Persian cuisine in Hamburg! The owner Mehrdad is incredibly nice and very welcoming to his guests! We received a greeting from the kitchen twice (1st lentil soup, 2nd dessert platter with 5 different desserts - all super delicious) I had the Kabab Torsch, the lamb couldn't be more tender. In other dishes, the meat almost falls off the bone. Highest respect to the owner and the chefs! Great atmosphere with indirect warm light, beautiful Persian/oriental furnishings and pleasant classical music.

The food was good but the price of the food was a bit high. The service was very friendly and accommodating, with a very nice atmosphere. We also received a delicious soup and a dessert per person from the restaurant, which made the experience very pleasant.

That's actually not my style to write a bad review anywhere, because I work as a waitress in an Iranian restaurant in Cologne and I can imagine that someone can be tired or stressed sometimes. I apologize in advance for such a long message. However, my experience yesterday had nothing to do with fatigue and was an absolute insult. I was in this restaurant yesterday with my German friend, who has never had any experience with Iranians. I wanted to show him how hospitable and warm Iranian culture is. He was curious about our language and found it interesting that I could speak to the others in Persian. I told him a lot about the dishes and was really excited to explain to him what was there. Two waiters served us. One who had a beard was a very nice person. He spoke to me in Persian and to my friend in German, and we found him very friendly. My friend even thanked him very much at the end. However, the other waiter, who wore glasses, had very inappropriate behavior towards me from the start. When I asked in Persian whether you could pay by card, he just looked at me. I thought maybe he didn't understand Persian, which would be perfectly fine, and asked the question again in German. But then he said: “That’s better!” It's disrespectful to ask in Persian when he (my friend) is there! I only ever speak German!” We were both completely shocked. My boyfriend even thought it was rather disrespectful to me that he said something like that to me! He could have simply told me that he prefers to speak in German instead of directly portraying me as disrespectful. That was an outrageous comment. Later he brought us a soup as a welcome, but said to my friend: “You already know that” and began to explain to him what kind of soup it was - even though it was my first time in this restaurant, but of course I did was able to explain to my friend what lentil soup is! After that he just asked my friend if he wanted dessert without even acknowledging me and completely ignored me. He brought us the ice cream and again just explained to my friend what kind of ice cream it was. I could have explained everything the same way! If we had been two foreign guests who had never tried anything Persian, I might have understood his behavior, but as it was, I felt very uncomfortable and insulted. I have several years of experience in gastronomy and I can understand very well that I didn't do anything wrong yesterday. I have never felt so disrespected in a restaurant as I did yesterday. Just calling me disrespectful just because I asked in Persian was bad. I behaved calmly and respectfully throughout the entire evening because I didn't want to spoil the evening. The food was very tasty, and again kudos to the other waiter. But unfortunately there are people who don't know what hospitality and respect really mean.

A truly exceptionally positive experience and a particularly tasty meal. With wine, water, digestive and tea/espresso, starter, main course and dessert plate, it's really worth every cent. Great atmosphere in the restaurant, beautifully arranged dishes, wonderful to look at and thanks to great herbs, spices, barberries, saffron, pomegranate and the like, every dish is a treat for the palate. First the positives: the service was excellent. The waiters were always friendly, constantly smiling and regularly came to our table to ask how we liked it. As a guest you really feel special and valued here. Unfortunately, there was also disappointment. My friend and I ordered a Persian menu for two which cost €95. At this price we expected that the amount of food would be sufficient. Unfortunately we were disappointed. As you can see in the photo, there were three very small, shallow bowls, with a maximum of 1.5 tablespoons of each dish per person. Although I would like to emphasize that the taste of the food was good, the quantity in relation to the price was really very disappointing.

Restaurant in the basement, 2 steps down, with loving, romantic furnishings. Comfortable chairs, dim lighting. Owner-managed service very attentive but not intrusive. The food was an unparalleled taste symphony, great dishes that were unknown to me and based on very good rice. With flavors running one after the other, the ingredients were certainly good to very good quality. Great variety of starters. Very nicely presented dessert of various Iranian specialties. The restaurant is highly recommended.

Ali served us was very nice. The food was super tasty but expensive about 32 euros for a plate without drinks. Soup also tasted good but unfortunately it was made with ready-made bread and not homemade bread. The idde apple grenade and Wahl nut on the meat was great. The meat also tasted great. Very happy again.

Apart from the environment and the energy of the staff, which made me think that the food was as tasty as my grandmother's. I suggest you to try Bagali Pilau with meat, it tastes like heaven.

It was one of the best meals I had outside Iran. I took Ghormesabzi which was amazing, I ate a bit of Mahiche and it was also tasty. Fesenjoon was delicious, sweet though. The stuff was also kind.

The combinations of fresh ingredients and exciting flavors were a real highlight - a dream for vegetarians (and anyone who loves good food)! And a top selection of non-alcoholic drinks. The food was very tasty. We had eaten Djudjeh and Fesendjan. My only complaint was that I asked for a little sauce and was charged for a whole dish. Unfortunately it was only discovered afterwards. - Guess it was just a communication problem. Well, nonetheless, the boss and his entire team were very accommodating. I also liked the wine selection. There are Persian dishes here that you can't find anywhere else in Hamburg. By far the best Persian restaurant in Hamburg! Everyone else can pack up. Great ambience, super nice and courteous staff and the food is so beautifully prepared.

Disappointing Persian grill plate - unfortunately the price-performance ratio is not right here. We ordered the Persian grill platter and were unfortunately a bit disappointed. The portions were surprisingly small - intended for two people, it would have been enough for one person. For the price of €95 we expected significantly more, which in our opinion does not meet the price-performance ratio. Unfortunately, the Persian flavors we were looking forward to didn't materialize. Instead, the seasoning was more reminiscent of northern German cuisine and lacked the typical, intense variety of flavors of Persian cuisine. Positive mention should be made of the welcome soup, which was very tasty, as well as the free chocolate mousse at the end - that was a nice ending. The ambience was generally pleasant, although the middle part of the restaurant seemed a bit chaotic. The boss was very friendly and cared about the well-being of the guests. Overall, we give it 3 stars due to the disappointing grill plate.

I chose this restaurant because of its high rating and beautiful photos, but while the presentation was fancy and appealing, the taste was very disappointing. They didn’t have koobideh kebab, so I ordered bakhtiari, which was poorly grilled. My friend’s baghali polo with lamb shank also had an unpleasant odor. It might appeal to those unfamiliar with authentic Persian cuisine!

Everything is great and wonderful. I had a romantic dinner date there with the love of my life. I hope it always stays open in this beautiful and romantic place.

Very tasty, great presentation of the dishes and a unique style of execution. Everything is fresh and homemade. The service is great and does a great job. We were lucky and found a parking space on the same street. We were more than full and were allowed to take the rest home with us (the portions are very generous). We also got to try a few “goodies” on the house! Yummy! Grandma will of course stay in first place, but you can now share the place with her. Great cuisine and a real experience. Thanks for that =)

The service is particularly noteworthy, very friendly and attentive and there was even a greeting from the kitchen. Even more relevant to this recession than the excellent food is the excellent staff

I believe you pay for the atmosphere, staff manners and their way of treating guests (specially those who are new to Persian cuisine) rather than food quality, portion size or taste. The food itself is similar to many other restaurants in Hamburg, but the pricing is at a higher level. We enjoyed the afternoon having lunch there, but there was no WOW factor about anything.

Nice atmosphere if you want to go out for a more “fancy” Persian meal, as an experience for someone who may not yet know the cuisine. The dishes are explained to the guests. Otherwise, when it comes to food, you're better off in other Hamburg restaurants - for half the price. Nevertheless, overall it was a nice evening and the staff there are nice and polite.

It's the best Iranian food in Hamburg!

Staff and food unique! I've been to Parissa's a few times now and it's always been an experience. The politeness of the staff is extraordinary and the cuisine leaves no doubt that you should definitely stop by here. The dishes are an eye-catcher when you read them, but on the plate they are an absolute taste explosion. Many great aperitifs and wines can also turn the meal into a culinary journey. We'll come by a few more times.

- atmosphere is great - food is below average, it included the taste, quality and freshness of ingredients etc - I have had a inflated stomach due to excessive use of black pepper in Kabab, salad shirazi, yoghurt which is not even part of authentic Persian cuisine - service is below average. They were not attentive to our requests and took very long time for any request we had - considering what we experienced in terms of food quality, taste ans service I would say it’s very expensive. We were a party of 4 and this is a summary of what we all concluded!

Last week we wanted to try Persian food for the first time but unfortunately we are completely disappointed...I found stone in my food (see pictures)....The bill was wrong and the price was not at all appropriate...I I don't understand the positive review at all...
