A small but very friendly Persian restaurant. The food here is truly fabulous. I had the marinated chicken and saffron ice cream for dessert. A big recommendation.

Really very tasty food. It's almost impossible to decide what to order from the menu, as the offering is also very extensive. The staff is very friendly and always kept an eye on our drinks. The atmosphere was also very nice and harmonious. We really liked it all around.

We went there as a family. In my opinion, it is one of the best restaurants for Iranian food in Hamburg. I tasted both Kubideh and Jujeh and both were good, fresh and tasty. The food dishes were not very well decorated. The temperature in the restaurant was very hot, which caused problems for older people. The crew was very kind and helpful.

Top recommendation for Persian food in Hamburg. Had the olives as a starter and the house recommendation “307” (grilled pieces of lamb with rice) as the main course. Both were really tasty. The price was okay, the starter around €6, the main course around €22-24. The atmosphere was really nice, we were there at 6 p.m., it was still a bit empty, around 8:30 p.m. there were no tables left. Given the food, that's no surprise; I can easily recommend the shop.

We were very skeptical at first, but were pleasantly surprised. The portions are really huge. You can actually share a portion between two people. The staff is very nice, but the restaurant is relatively small and very busy. This means that it gets very crowded very quickly in the evenings. Unfortunately the menus are already extremely sticky. That's a bit gross. We would still come back because it tasted so delicious.

5 stars – highly recommended! We were in the restaurant yesterday with a group of seven people and were absolutely thrilled! The food was excellent and we all enjoyed it very much. We were particularly impressed by the relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Although we sat there chatting for about an hour after dinner, we weren't pressured to leave - on the contrary, the staff were consistently warm and accommodating. The waitress, the entire team and also the manager of the restaurant were exceptionally friendly and attentive. The prices were also completely fair and there were no hidden costs or surprises. We felt really welcome and will definitely come back! I can only recommend everyone to try this restaurant. We are definitely regulars now!

Fuimos a Neshan para probar algo de comida persa genuina. Así que nos dieron una cálida bienvenida y nos guiaron a nuestra mesa. Ordené: Chelo Kebab con Koobideh Makhsoos ( 2 pinchos de cordero con un tomate a la parrilla, servido con Basmati - Azafrán - Arroz Placa de malla mixta Damnush e Zanjabil (Preparación revitalizante de jengibre, azafrán y limón, ligeramente endulzada) La carne del Chelo Kebab era excelente y la porción era buena para el precio. El té también era agradable y no demasiado endulzado y el plato de mezcla es bueno para compartir y bueno para nosotros para compartir. En general, el camarero estaba atento y tuvimos una buena noche!

I visited Hamburg from USA and I had the opportunity to eat at Neshan. It is by far the best Persian food outside of Iran. Besides, had wonderful upscale atmosphere and lovely staff. we had an amazing experience and will definitely come back next time in Hamburg.

Small but nice. Food tastes excellent, at least what we tried on our first visit. Service is attentive and always friendly. Very nice decorations, which makes the atmosphere more pleasant. I would recommend. The location is particularly suitable, right next to the train station and easy to reach without a car. And since I was traveling without a car this time, I can't judge the parking location in the surrounding area.

We ordered the special kubideh there, it was not good at all. I do not recommend it.

As a welcome entrée there was a delicious antipasti plate with fresh ingredients such as mint and coriander, sheep's cheese, sweet red onion and lemon. The beginning was good and made us curious about the warm food we ordered. But this was followed by a rather boring dish of walnut-plum sauce with rice and rice with egg without any fresh ingredients. Dry rice and the dry rice with egg were also cold. On the other hand there was minced meat from the flat grill iron with the same rice intermezzo with two spoon-sized bites of red cabbage and onions, just as boringly presented. The culinary diversity of Persian cuisine could not be discovered here. No recommendation for this restaurant!

The lamb had a very intense onion lining and was also not sufficiently cooked. The rice was clearly too hard and the portion was too small. In terms of price, the restaurant is significantly higher than the competition, but in terms of taste it offers the weakest experience among the Persian restaurants. While the ambience and service were appealing, overall this restaurant is only a positive discovery for guests who have not had any experience with established alternatives such as Qasr or Sepideh. Unfortunately no further recommendation.

It was a nice experience until an incident I had with the doogh drink. I tasted off, and I had doogh before, so I know when the yoghurt inside is past its expiration date and asked the waitress to return it. She was rude and dismissive. They even made me pay for the doogh, which be as it may, considering we paid more than 120€ for food and drinks was very disrespectful. The be fair, although the rest of the food tasted good, but the whole experience was spoiled by this disrespectful treatment where money and owner's greed is worth more than the customer. It was a nice experience until an incident with the Doogh drink. It tasted spoiled, and since I've had Doogh many times, I know when the yogurt in it is past its expiration date. I asked the waitress to take it back but she was rude and dismissive. They even made me pay for the doogh, which is annoying in itself, especially considering we paid over €120 for food and drinks. That was very disrespectful. To be fair, the rest of the food tasted good, but the entire experience was ruined by this disrespectful treatment, where the owner's money and greed are worth more than the customer.

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant! We ordered the Koubideh and Soltani, and both dishes were absolutely delicious and incredibly fresh. The Soltani, in particular, was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked—I highly recommend it! The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, making the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. Definitely a place worth visiting!

Anlässlich unseres Besuches in Hamburg entdeckten wir in der Nähe unseres Hotels dieses Restaurant. Kürzlich waren wir wieder in Hamburg, in der Nähe des Hauptbahnhofs, und haben auf den Tipp eines Freundes, der ein echter Gourmet ist, ein persisches Restaurant ausprobiert. Das Ambiente war wirklich schön und einladend, was den Abend noch angenehmer machte. Die Lammhaxe war ein absoluter Hochgenuss, einfach super lecker. Als Dessert haben wir uns Baklava gegönnt, das ebenfalls richtig gut war. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur wärmstens empfehlen, besonders für all jene, die Wert auf geschmackvolles und qualitativ hochwertiges Essen legen. Wir Danken euch Team Neshan! Endlich ein tolles persisches Restaurant in Hamburg! Das Essen ist mega lecker, die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett, und es gibt sogar vegetarische Optionen, die ebenfalls sehr lecker sind. Wir waren schon mehrmals dort, und jedes Mal waren wir mit allem sehr zufrieden. Kabab Torsch, dough, die Vorspeisen und natürlich Baklava mit Eis sind ein MUSS!

Good service and friendly staff, besides food tastes good and it was easy to find the place. First we wanted to go somewhere Les, but decided to visit this restaurant.

I was there a few days ago. Everyone was very nice, but unfortunately the food wasn't as good as described by others. I'm Iranian myself and so I know what things should taste like. The chicken was juicy but too lemony, so the saffron flavor barely came through. Let alone the grill aroma. The rice was far too dry, the butter that was served didn't help, it was more of a problem with the quality. The tomato didn't taste like anything. The salad wasn't a salad, just cabbage (red cabbage and onions). Tahdig was specified but was actually a small piece of tachin (the idea is very cute though). Charging 20.50 for this is cheeky. The bread, which was previously served with Sabzi (herbs), was unfortunately also very dry. Overall, it seems like everything was very intentional, but unfortunately not achieved. Maybe we had a bad day, who knows. But Djudje fans might be disappointed.

Very friendly and good service, you feel welcome and well served. The food is delicious but unfortunately there weren't all the dishes on the menu. Some of the vegetarian dishes were a bit overpriced for my feeling and the type of dish. All in all a nice evening and a nice restaurant!

My date and I had our expectations exceeded. I honestly don't remember the last time I've had meat cooked that tender. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone, whether you're a vegetarian or a carnivore. My date and I will definitely come to this place again the next time we're visiting Hamburg.

Nice, small and cozy Persian restaurant right next to the “Berliner Tor” subway stop. Super nice service and very tasty Persian dishes (especially lamb and chicken). The price is quite acceptable for a big city like Hamburg. Definitely highly recommended!!!

The food was great, but my 5 stars go to the service. In Germany it is actually rare to find such friendly, energetic and, above all, efficient service. So the entire experience was great and the restaurant is one of the best in Hamburg in my opinion. The situation at the Berlin Gate? That doesn't matter if the rest is 100% extraordinary. 10 stars from me!

I usually write good reviews for Iranian restaurants, but here, unfortunately, the Kubude kebab was undercooked and the quality of the meat was extremely low, the rice was served very little, and the food did not have the taste and quality of the kebab at all. Only Dough(buttermilk) and service was good. The price was very expensive and not suitable at all.

The positive first: the service is very, very friendly and the lunch menu is affordable. A lot of effort has been put into the ambience. The two lunch dishes that were available were very powerful and were quite heavy on the stomach. The chicken leg was partly cold. But what completely spoils your appetite are the exhaust fumes. We sat outside in the best weather. The restaurant is located on the largest street in the area, or directly at the intersection. There is also a permanent construction site. Oh well. Better to eat inside, but in such warm weather...

Our visit to the restaurant here was an absolute highlight. The food was very tasty, very varied and very well seasoned 😍 We were particularly impressed by the saffron ice cream and the drink (Khakeshir ba Limoo), as we had never eaten/drank either before (see pictures). The service was very friendly, attentive and accommodating. We were explained (since we didn't know the starter) how to ideally eat it, which was really helpful for us, thank you! The atmosphere was perfect, which, in addition to the smell, food and service, also contributed to the beautiful style of the restaurant. We felt very comfortable and had a really nice evening at Neshan's.

The ambience and the food were great, except for the subway noises under the restaurant every now and then. Parking in the surrounding area is very difficult as there is no dedicated parking space. We also ordered a VERY SMALL bowl of Ghorme Sabzi to try and were charged the full price (€19.90) for it without discussing it with us first. That spoiled our visit a bit.

Eine sehr angenehme Erfahrung. Ich bin aktuell häufiger dienstlich in Hamburg und hier schon öfter auf dem Weg vom Bahnhof vorbeigelaufen. Die Atmosphäre ist angenehm modern, nicht kitschig. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam. Das Essen ist sehr gut und sehr eigen. Ich war vorher noch nie persisch Essen und hätte es eher Richtung arabischer Küche verortet. Das stimmt allerdings nicht. Die persische Küche ist sehr eigen, geprägt von fruchtigen und säuerlichen Noten. Sollte man definitiv probiert haben!
